Tell me that you don't like spongebob? I am 21 years old and would have to say that spongebob is my favorite Nick show. When I first heard about it I was like, Spongbob square pant? Psssh, how stupid could these cartoons creators be? Then I sat down and watched it with my brother one day and just loved it! My brothers only 9 by the way!

I think its the greatest cartoon, ever! LOL!

I thought the samething too. I am 32 and my daughter loves spongebob. When I first saw it I was are you joking a sponge that lives in a pinapple under ther water??? Then I started watching it and I laughed so hard!! I love the show I think i watch it more then my daughter:lol:

Yes, you can be any age to enjoy Spongebob. That's why it's such a great show, anybody can watch it and appreciate it.

I adore Spongebob. :D It's a really fun show. I've always like Squidward ( the tentacled yuppie is the only one who seems to notice that Spongebob and Patrick are completely insane. :lol:), Plankton (Dude. He's got a Napoleon complex :p) and Mr. Krabs ($$$)

I am 15 and still love it!!!! I have a Spongebob Poster in my room.:p I drew Squidward, SpongeBob, and Patrick and hung it on my wall with mu other drawings.

I do hope they make more episodes. Everytime I turn it to Nick, I've already seen that one.

Since Spongebob is such a popular show, I think that it'll only be a matter of time before another new episode comes out. I don't see why they wouldn't.

Spongebob is one of my favorite shows ever, I love the characters and Spongebob is so cute! I own a ton of the series DVDs and the movie. I was actually the one who got my little siblings into the show and my boyfriend likes it now too. Really if you break it down it's just like any TV show that adults watch. You have the innocent naive main character who likes the loud mouth girl who is a tomboy but cute, his neighbor/co-worker finds him annoying but likes him secretly, his boss is a money tight jerk and his best friend is dumb but funny. It's a priceless but over used set up. Hysterical every time though!

Really if you break it down it's just like any TV show that adults watch.

Yeah I've heard the show is like an adult audience show (not the porn type! :p) but I just never saw the adult humor or entertainment. Everytime I watched the show, I think my eyes bled hahaha jk :p

I seem to recall that a marine biologist was quoted as saying that the characters in Spongebob were pretty much true to nature...like starfish are kinda, um "slow" like Patrick. I don't know if that is true or not, but I really like the fact that a marine biologist was watching :lol:

Can I just say that as a mother of two I really have to thank the spongebob writers for their cleverness, humor and, yes their occasional adult references. I might go insane soon from my 4 year old's passion for the yellow sponge, but at least when I do I'll be grateful that I laughed the first ten times I saw (put favorite episode here, or least favorite, or any episode for that matter).

I remember Spongebob saying "Someone sent me a party Invitation but I can't read it because the Ink ran. Who ever sent this must have no Idea of the physical limitations of life underwater. Oh well, petter put this on the fire." It's funnier than most adult cartoons by a wide margin.

I always wondered if Spongebob was as entertaining to kids as it was to people in my age group (21). I can remember singing the theme song in the senior lounge in my high school. haha

Though I am able to pretty much quote every episode and the movie thanks to my sons - they still make me giggle...Hey if you can't beat em join em!

My daughter has the F-U-N clock. It's hysterical! Got it in Duane Reade quite a few years ago. WE LOVE S-BOB!!! She would always wake up early so she could hear the song!

I love Spongebob! I like the fact that it knows it's dumb and it makes fun of itself; that's what makes it funny. A lot of horrible cartoons today try to take themselves seriously, and that's when the show flops. But with Spongebob, you get obvious stupidity in the best and funniest sense of the word.

The other day I actually watched this show[haven't in long long time, gets kinda trying] I forgot how funny and ridicules[in a funny way]..this show can be..not sure exacly what happend but I laughed more then I ever have when watching the show.....

I love the episodes where Spongebob sings :lol:...manly the "something bowl" one, it's a older one..I like the older ones better anyway though...:D

Spongebob is bitter sweet for me, some days I like it, some I dont, but the spongebob movie was very bad, I didnt like it at all! I do enjoy some of the songs he sings, and how dumb some of the ideas on the show are, still not one of my favourite shows, probably my least favourite actually, but i occasionally see it.

Nooooo Rajaton how can you say that? The movie was great! I love Patrick Smartypants (episode), It's ridiculous but thats what makes it funny. Every Spongebob fan out there, i suggest you go on Wikipedia about spongebob, theres someinteresting stuff!

I used to absolutly adore SpongeBob but my little brother ruined it for me, ever since he discovered it 2 years or so ago, he cannot go a day without watching it on DVD for less then 4 hours.....and I mean EVERYDAY! It would be easy for anyone to go insane.

I hope when I have kids, there's something as awesome as Spongebob around. There's all those little things in there for the adults, and they're hilarious. I swear, I'm going to MAKE my kids watch Spongebob. They will never watch scary shows like the....DOODLEBOPS :scared:

it's alright. i lurved watching it but then it became so mainstream and therefore overrated.

I owed my sanity yesterday to Spongebob. :p It's SO much easier to babysit kids when you can just turn on the tv and watch them all stop fighting over the toys and become glued to the show. :lol: And it's not one of those little kid's shows thats just for kids...I love watching it too! Not that I'm saying it's ok to just turn on the tv when the kids bug you...but there were no burnt little fingers yesterday from hanging all over me while I was cooking lunch and no fights, so I say yay for Spongebob!! :love:

Spongebob Squarepants is a silly child, even though he is not a child, and that is what makes the show funny, that and patrick, I mean have you met a funnier starfish?

SpongeBob is the best! The episode I watched this morning (which I've never seen) was hilarious! I've missed a lot of the newer ones because I can't ever remember when they're on.

I don't like spongebob. It's completely awesome in small doses, like 15 minutes and then you stop, but the insanity and stupidity is just boring and annoying after a while.

I love Spongebob! I just think it's really really funny, and so cute. Some episodes are a bit boring but most are hilarious! I used to hate Patrick though, can't remember why but I love him now anyway :D

I know some people who hate Spongebon because they claim it's "pointless" and without "credible content" (I'm quoting here). Of course, the same people who say THAT like Nip/Tuck, which is about as "credible" as...well, anyway...

I completely agree. There are a few innuendos thrown in there that you don't catch when you're younger. That's probably why I enjoy them so much. There are some non Family Friendly suggestions hiddne in there so children, teenagers and adults alike can laugh at it. :) It's so great :D

I love spongebob sooooo much. My dad can do a perfect imitation of Patrick(by the way Patrick is the whole reason why I watch the show).

I used to think he was real. and that if i stayed in the water long enough he'd come. and that i'd marry him. (spongebob) and i used to make sponges talk to me. hoping he'd comeout. and i used to draw spongebob on sponges...... im embarassed and thats *** first time i confessed that :D

I've watched Spongebob since its premier in 1999. It's been over 10 years now and I still love the show.
