Funniest lines in the films

the only one I can call of head is probably from the movies but:

Hermione: Nearly headless. How can you be nearly headless?

My favorite was in PoA, when Ron woke up in the middle of the night:

"The spiders, they want me to tap dance. I dont want to tap dance!"

"You tell those spiders Ron"

"I'll tell 'em...I'll tell 'em...*Snore*"

"It's an odd sort of place ha. Do you live here?"
Then Ron's face: "No"

I just think the whole of that is hilarious.

I just think the actions of Alan Rickman are also rather funny. He doesn't need lines me thinks. That man as Snape is a legend

love this! Idk if anybody else mentioned this one, i haven't made it all the way through them all... i love in OOTP when the trio are in the common room after the Harry/Cho scene.

I thought that was really funny, and i can't help it, a lot of people found the next "Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon" line corny, but i loved Ron and harry's reaction! Then Hermione starts laughing too, that was the cute part!

At the yule ball, Harry- It's not the books that had him going for the library.

OotP, Hermione- Everybody this is Loony Lovegoo- ... Luna Lovegood.

CoS Draco Malfoy- I didn't know you could read.
And PoA - Stupid bloody chicken.

Not sure they can count yet, but I hope they milk the Lavender lines in HBP for all they are worth.

I loved that whole scene, with one of the twins asking out that girl, " You... Go to the... ball *dance* with me?"
and then Snape pulling up his sleeves and shooving Ron and Harry's head down.

I loved the whole "Oh no, I've killed Harry Potter!" line too!! :lol: Reminded me of South Park. Only funnier :whistle: :lol:. Neville is awesome :cool:. And I also liked any scene where Snape makes snide remarks (not the remarks themselves though, since their not nice... but the way that Alan Rickman delivers them).

In COS, from Draco "I didn't know you could read *weird look on face*" That makes me laugh every time :lol:

The "Ahhhhhh..." from Arthur in the Underground from OotP always makes me go :lol:

Prof. Sprout: "Oh, Longbottom's been neglecting his earmuffs again"

Well we don't actually know if thats in the film but I am hoping so because it was IMO the best Harry cheek on Snape of all.

Here's another. "Do you live here?"- Lockhart. This scene just cracks me up everytime I see it.

In GoF, Ginny has some of the best lines. She's really close to acting the same way that the Ginny in the books acts like (if that makes any sense).

"I think you're in love Ron." -After the QWC when Ron is talking about Krum.
"I'm not wearing that, it's ghastly." -When Ron shows her his dress robes.

I love when Ron wakes up mumbling about spiders and Harry tells em "You tell those spiders!"

"This is an odd sort of place, Do you live here?" Lockhart then Ron gets a rock and knocks him out. Brilliant.

"Dads a muggle, mum's a witch. Bit of a nasty shock for him when he found out." - Seamus (probably not really that funny, but it made me laugh...)

Thats all I can think of for now - although anything that Lockhart says usually makes me laugh.

I like all of Lockhart's lines after he gets his memory erased ("Do you live here? etc.").

And something along the lines of when Ron and McGonagall are dancing and she says "Put you hand on my waist" and he says "Where?!"

I went to PoA with my little sister. She has lots of learning diasblities and was part of this group called ACE and once a month, the kids would get a free cinema ticket. It was so sweet cuz when Hermione punched Malfoy, the whole lot of them cheered! Yeah! Bless em.

I love the line in the second movie.

This is my favorite line in the films thus far. The thing that makes this so funny for me was thinking about how you might actually go about explaining this to someone who had never heard of a rubber duck before!

The first two sentences in the first book were pretty funny!

"You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!"

"Seamus was bang out of order, mate."

"So you're gonna suffer...but you're gonna be happy about it." (Even funnier is Hermione's expression when this is said.)

"Hey guys, guys. Why the long faces?!" The shrunken head on the Knight Bus is without a doubt the greatest addition to the movies, in my opinion.

"Because You-Know-Who's back, you toss pot."

So typical Ron as well! I remember watching this for the first time, couldn't stop laughing! Rupert has such brilliant comedic timing and does the funniest face expressions :p

You have to admit any scene with Lockhart was really funny! Kenneth Branagh plays him so perfectly! His little wink and hearty laugh makes everything that comes out of his mouth instantly funny!

His best line for me has to be when he says 'Well I didn't get rid of the Banshee just by smiling at her. *Hearty Laugh*

LOVE THIS MOMENT! Just everything about it, Mr Weasley is such an adorable man, you can just assume he was secretly asking the boys how it went the second Mrs Weasley turned away again.
And his heart was really not set on telling them off, 'That was really wrong of you boys. Really wrong, indeed!' :p

I absolutely loved the "I think Harry enjoyed dessert" from HBP. The look on Hermione's face is so funny. There's also the scene when Harry and Ginny are having a "moment" and Ron just walks in and sits between them, then offering Harry a pie. Everyone in the theatre was laughing harder than ever. The look on Lavender's face when Ron starts making it snow is just hilarious.

HBP is so funny. CoS was funny, too, but only for the first quarter of the (really long) film.

Also wanted to add, Slughorn cracks me up so much every time when he is talking to Harry or Hermione and basically dismisses Ron by calling him the wrong name. IE:

HP used the influence of the Fleix felicis was very funny, but it is the closest the you see anyone in HP behaving in a drunken manner. Behaving drunk while not actually being drunk.

Is Butterbeer alcoholic? I've never seen/read anyone behaving like this in the entire series. It was very good. Seem realistic somehow and more of the most normal teenage exploit that you see HP in.

Yes the Felix felicis is very funny, I liked a lot when Slughorn says: Harryyy and Harry says: Sirrrr :p so cute

HP used the influence of the Fleix felicis was very funny, but it is the closest the you see anyone in HP behaving in a drunken manner. Behaving drunk while not actually being drunk.

Is Butterbeer alcoholic? I've never seen/read anyone behaving like this in the entire series. It was very good. Seem realistic somehow and more of the most normal teenage exploit that you see HP in.

What? I remember Hagrid being drunk on several occasions! And lest we forget Winky. :p

I'd have to say he funniest part in HBP for me was not a line at all, it was when Ron and Harry fight over the potions book. That is so real life :lol:

The funny scenes in HBP totally crack me up.

One in OoTP was when Umbridge questions Snape and mentioned about his failure to get the DADA job, Ron laughs. When Umbridge left, Snape slammed a book on Ron's head. :lol:

Also, "Did you and Ginny do it?" from HBP again, had me in stitches when I saw it in the cinema, my friend just looked at me and rolled her eyes. Damn my childish, inappropriate teenage humour :lol:

Oh, and any line Snape says or when he hits people over the head with a book. Alan Rickman is pretty much perfect in his delivery :)

Hahah they are some of the funniest bits. I have seen HBP so many times but i always laugh when he says 'Hi!' so happily to the randoms in the common room.

The funniest thing in the whole Series is Ron's Howler.My favorite Line was the one in the GOF.
