I don't think that any sign ever perfectly matches a person. ;)

I find that I tend to exhibit many of the primary Libra qualities such as being just and seeing both sides of an argument. I'm also very artistic and involved in many things like theater and music.

Something I've found interesting is that most of my closest friends tend to fall into a few different signs. According to Stargazer.com (http://www.stargazers.com/compatib.html), Libras are supposed to be most compatible with "Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, [and] Aquarius." Strangely enough, most of my closest friends are Leos and Aquariuses with a few Geminis thrown in. I also get along very well with other Libras and tend to gravitate towards them.

Yeah, I can't say that I know all that much about astrology, but I do tend to think of these as being some of the main Libra characteristics (shocking, I know, considering our symbol is scales). But, I tend to think this of myself...although I know it's not always true and sometimes I think it is more my wish than the truth. But indecisive...definitely, and flirtatious, please, at this point, I wish that were true.
And I looked at the list of compatibility and possible compatibility lists on the wiki link Morgoth provided, and I saw that nearly all of my friends fell into those categories...but then I realized that combined they take up 3/4 of the year, so I suppose that isn't too surprising.

I am a libra, but honestly I have always had a problem with my sign characteristics, because while I am not really outgoing, social, or a people person. And honestly I am not really all that 'nice' although I can be charming and pleasant when I want to. Possibly because i have a moon in scorpio and this is an influence, i dont know.

I also find that I cant stand other libras because they come off as pretentious, and they tend to resent the fact that I chose not to be open and social with other people.

I dont trust geminis and every leo person I have ever known I cannot stand. I love aquarians and saggitarius though.

I guess I believe the Capricorn thing. My last friend was a Capricorn, we clashed a lot. That relationship should've ended earlier than it did, but my "idealistic" personality, allowed me to hold on to it.

Anywho, as for the main signs I'm supposed to get along with: Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, [and] Aquarius...I have to think.

The only Gemini I know is my younger cousin. As kids, we fought constantly.

My mother's a Leo and we get along okay.

My boyfriend is a Sagi and we get along okay, but his "Capricornish" side comes up at times too, which tend to bug me sometimes. He was born on December 21, so he's sort of a Sagi-Capri if that makes sense. He seems to show characteristics of both.

My father is an Aquarius and we get along okay.

September and October are always very busy for me as well.

I read something once that the way you gravitate or shy away from people in your own sign has something to do with how comfortable you are with yourself and the traits displayed within your sign. I would say in general I know myself pretty well and like myself all right, which might explain why I like other Libras so much.

I'm not all that easygoing,, only when I'm in a good mood.. sometimes I'm just not interested in get to know some person at all, even though I won't be rude or anything... I always try to be nice, which I think can mean this whole thing of not wanting to create conflict. I'm also always trying to be diplomatic, taking both parts in consideration etc - that I-have-to-be-fair-thing bothers even me sometimes haha..
But anyway, the hardest thing for me is my difficulty to make decisions. Whether it is to choose ice cream's flavour or to choose which college I should go, it is always a hard time. I get to think about every little thing and do that pro-con thing that drives me crazy, till I finally force myself to pick something out faster. Even though I've been trying to work this out, it's still a problem for me sometimes... guess I can't help but being so librian at some points haha..
what about you guys? Is it easy for you to make decisions?

I recognise a lot of the given characteristics. Actually I think most of them are true. I'm not a really artistic person though and I don't consider myself as really clever :-).

What you guys said about choosing friends is also very true. I have several close friends who are all a libra as well, very strange...

I don't really believe in astrology though I'm fascinated by the 'science', I think there must be some kind of truth in it...

I totally agree. I'm a Libra and I can be "social" when I have/want to, but I'm usually pretty quiet. But the stuff about avoiding conflict and seeing both sides totally describes me.

Yes, that description of a Libra sounds about right for myself, especially the indecisive and lazy part. :p Although I keep thinking that I should go into a more diplomatic line of work to suit my sign characteristics.

The one's I've underlined are me. I am great friends with an Aquarius, and also a Virgo.
I don't think I'm very creative. I have never been able to write anything draw anything. I can't even keep a diary and you just write day to day stuff in them. I am more pratically creative, I did a drama (acting) course for 3 years and I feel I was able to direct and plan more than I could actually act.
I am extremely lazy. I couldn't deny that even if I wanted to.

But I am very decisive, even if I do change my mind alot.:agree:

I'm also too easy going and lazy and quite indecisive. Some may say I'm too friendly, borderline Flirtatious so perhaps I'm that but I never set out ot be (I will admit to being man-crazy). I'm impatient when I have nothing else to distract me if I'm waiting for something. I can be quarrelsome when tired, like tonight. Maybe I should underline them all.

I've always said I'm a true Libra at heart, the good old King of Swords. I despise injustice.

Also, I love information. I love learning about new things. Trivia, quizzing: they interest me very much and I'm quite good at them. I love learning about new countries, cultures and meeting people from across the World. I'm outgoing when I want to, social when I want to. So yeah, you can see me very dull and moody some times. I try to please people always, though I guess I must not; I just like everyone to be happy :lol: . Also, I get bored very easily. I love debating with people and some of my friends tell me I'm extremely stubborn to get what exactly I want. I'm mostly fair, even if that means its not favourable to me :)

i'm a libra and i totally match the characteristics. i love drawing and most art things, and i am sooooooo indecisive it gets annoying :lol::lol:

I am a Libra. :D A lot of these sound very much like me. The ones that I underlined are definitely like me (at least I think so, I suppose), and the italics ones occur occasionally and don't necessarily mark my actual personality. These generally depend on the situation, I think. :P

I wouldn't say all of these apply to me, but i do tend to see the good and bad in everything. I make apologizes for people all the time, i can't help it, that's how i am. One of my close friends is very spontaneous and tends to overreact at times and she always gets annoyed because i try to rationalize everything she's going on about.. I hate nothing more than arguments. And indecise? I get stuck hours just trying to make a decision sometimes. And the more i think about it, the more indecise i get! :whistle: Idealistic, yes. Almost all of those apply to me. Especially the indesicive, impatient parts. I cannot make a decision to save my life most days, and I hate waiting for things, or when things are dragged out. I am most deffinately a 'true' libra!

Im Libran too :love:...and I would again agree with most of the traits there but Im not very social really...I tend to check if I get along with everybody who is invited for the same social gathering as I am :rolleyes:...and that usually doesn't turn out very well obviously! I am indecisive yes, and can get easily influenced too.I love having the silly kinda fun with my friends too..but ONLY with friends..I am kinda reserved around strangers and it takes 2-3 meetings with them to open up.Another thing is I can be pretty uninvolved and cold.I do have an artistic side and admire anyone/anything beautiful, given a choice I'd be a painter :)

Regarding the friends thing...my best friends so far have been Gemini(my fave best friend!),Leo(although I got fed up with her at one point of time...very dominating..and thats a sure Leo trait!) and Aries right now :) :)
