Share and discuss your PCs specifications here, I'll kick things off -

My PC:
Golding Computer Services
Pentium D 3.0GHz
1GB DDR2 RAM
256MB GeForce 7300LE GFX
2x 250GB SATA HDDs
Running Windows Vista Home Premium

My Laptop:
Toshiba A20
Pentium 4 2.66GHz
512MB RAM
Unknown GFX
40GB HDD
Running Windows XP Professional

Personally I'd really like another 1GB or more RAM on my PC for Vista, it takes up so much system resources at times it can be a little on the painful side. Storage is getting a little tight on my PC too, I need to buy an external hard drive ideally to put some of my backups and site files on there. Laptop wise really I could do with a new laptop, not going to happen any time soon but it does me right for the time being!

I'm interested to see what everyone else is running!

Now that is

I see you've got a Vaio, how'd you like it for reliability? I've heard some serious horror stories about them overheating all the time then having to send them off to Belgium to be fixed :P

Intel Celeron D 3,06GHz
1,25 GB RAM
1x40 GB HDD & 1x200 GB HDD
GeForce4 MX 4000
XP Home

Maybe not the best PC but it's enough for me ^_^ But I really need to get more memory and at lease one more HDD, I'm running out of space XD

Oh the old GeForce MX 4000, I used to have one of those in my old PC. They're a nice little graphics card, manage quite a lot for a pretty cheap price :D

Get Lani to post it up... :D I'm looking forward to it

I don't want to sound rude/nosey but what on earth do you do with all that power (other than sit in awe of it of course)? Looks to me like a gaming machine?

Current PC -
Intel Core 2 duo E6300 or 400 (can't remember).
1.5gb DDR2 667mhz RAM
Nvidia 7600 GT 256mb Graphics card
1x250GB SATA Hard drive

And the usual things

New PC (which i should have sometime next week):
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
2gb 800mhz DDR2 RAM
Nivida 8600GT (to be replaced with two higher spec cards after christmas).
1x 160gb SATA Hard drive (that's for the OS, will be adding two 500gb hard drives after christmas or maybe two 750gb hard drives if i'm feeling flush with the cash).
Windows Home Premium OEM (before anyone asks i'm perfectly entitled to buy and use OEM software, as i'm building the PC myself).
And the usual stuff.

I also have an original Mac mini (pre intel) and an old laptop that i can't remember the specs of.

My laptop is an HP Pavillion dv2500 with 160 GB hard drive, 1 GB RAM, and AMD Turion processor running Windows Vista.
My desktop is a Dell w/ 30 GB hard drive, like 100 MB RAM and Pentium 4 processor running Windows XP. I don't really use it much since I got my laptop.

Yes on the RAM, not sure about the processor. I'll boot it up in a few days time and check.

When they first came out they were G4, then I think when Apple started to introduce the intel processors they changed it to 512MB/1GB RAM and phased out the 256MB option. Could be wrong though. :p

According to the little stickers on the laptop...

Acer Aspire 7720-6395
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5250 (1.5 GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache...don't know what the FSB and the L2 Cache is...I should look it up...)
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS, 256 MB
2GB DDR2 (Must look this up also...)
17" WXGA+ Acer CrystalBrite LCD :D
250 GB HDD
Blu-Ray (Haven't tried this yet...should be awesome)
Windows Vista Ultimate
Has a pretty nice built-in webcam as well...

New for Christmas...I don't really play games on the computer, but I needed enough to run Photoshop and other Adobe programs...

don't know what the FSB and the L2 Cache is...I should look it up...

FSB = Front Side Bus. This is the clock cycle speed. How often data is transfered between components.

L2 Cache is high speed memory used for temporary storage. Think of it as super fast RAM.

I just ordered a new laptop. Here are the specs...

Dell Vostro 1500
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7500 (2.2GHz)
Windows XP Home Edition (I ordered through Dell's small business division so I could get XP instead of Vista.)
3G RAM, 667MHz (not the fastest, but you can't have everything you want, right?)
160 GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive
15.4" SXGA+ LCD with TrueLife™ (I could only get the 17" with Vista so I opted for the smaller monitor. My current computer's monitor is 15" and it is just fine for me so I wasn't bothered by that.)
built-in 2.0 mega pixel webcam (nothing fancy)
8X DVD+/-RW with DVD+R drive (nothing fancy)
just a basic video card (nothing fancy here, either)

Yours sounds like a sweet system Kitunen!

Its actually not doing too bad. Microsoft Word usually takes about 2 minutes to open, but otherwise, I have no problem with it. I needed a computer for college ASAP and had a very limited budget and this was the cheapest one I could find. Should have enough for a new one in a couple of months.

Hehe, that's a lot of working. Too much for me. But A Ubuntu Programing box that is capable of running any game on max spec... enough said. TBH, a lot of what you have is just show off stuff. You don't need that level of technology in anything. Cept maybe graphics design. I mean, 3 x 24" monitors on your desk? Even the way you pointed that out.

That's e-penis stuff. Yea, ok. One huge rig is the ambition of many gamers. But to have a gaming grade rig just for work is pure showing off. Unless you work on graphics design... But I would expect to see 2/3 8800GTX Ultras in a machine used for graphics design. And then on top of that, a gaming grade laptop. Top of the range. You could just use that for gaming. Plug your monitors, mouse and keyboard in and it'll run every game max spec. Your Gaming rig is just pure e-penis stuff.
thats right 2 gb of gpu ram and 4 gpus
Stuff like that just isn't really necessary. It's pure showing off and tbh, I don't think a lot of people here are going to be impressed.

laptop was a gift, the graphics cards on the first rig came cheaper than 8800gtx by about $400 the monitors i got for free from a friend who works for a research company that was throwing them out.

all the hds i got on sale or on ebay for under a grand combined won the 8600Gt at a lan party, ram was expensive, thats why i got amd processors cuz they were a helluva lot cheaper

both rigs were built in under $3000 combined

OK, in which case you're a jammy git who has 3 incredible machines. Git . $3000, £1500, I spent that on my last PC... A little higher spec than your work machine with smaller monitor. Though that gaming rig is insane. Rediculously high powered.
