HBPhysteria October 6th, 2007, 6:47 pm I'm in college and this is one of my favorite shows. I thought I was weird, until I spoke to various people about it (including males) and recieved their full agreement. My boyfriend's cousin has two kids and she buys the soundtracks and DVDs for herself. In short, no one I've spoken to doesn't like Hannah Montana.
Also, I knew that she did tours and stuff, but I had no idea it was such a huge industry. I saw on the news that tickets to her concert are being resold for thousands of dollars (for those of you that haven't heard: click here (http://www.turnto10.com/northeast/jar/news.apx.-content-articles-JAR-2007-10-05-0026.html)).
I can't imagine anyone paying that much for a ticket to see Hannah Montana!
Has anyone been to any of her concerts? What is your favorite character in the show? Favorite songs?
gUcCiGryffindor October 6th, 2007, 7:55 pm I LOVE Hannah Montana!! It is the best show!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANd I love her music too, even though it is pretty corny, oh well. No, I've never been to one of her concerts but she is going to be in concert like 45 min. away from my house in Jan. My favorite character on the show, hmmmmm, Oliver and Jackson(<- He's 30!) But I like them all.
BubblyShell22 October 10th, 2007, 10:14 pm I love Hannah Montana! The show is awesome and so are the songs. One of my fave songs has to be "Nobody's Perfect" because it's so upbeat and has a good lesson in it. My fave character on the show has to be Jackson, although I like the others as well.
Gracezilla06 October 10th, 2007, 10:23 pm Yes, Miley Cyrus has an amazing voice and I love the show. You're right about older people liking it too, because my 15-year-old sister watches it more than I do!
BubblyShell22 October 11th, 2007, 1:11 pm Yeah, I'm 24 and I watch it. It's one of the few shows I care to watch these days.
charmed_4evr October 20th, 2007, 9:37 pm i love hannah montana. Miley has such a great voice! i have never seen her in concert but i would love to
gillikitty2000 October 21st, 2007, 4:48 am Oh my word! i love her! Miley has a great voice and she is an amazing actress. I wanted to go to her concert so badly but i was camping when the tickets went on sale and they were sold out when i got home, which was only 3 days later! I was sooo sad!
My favorite song is one in a million from Hannah and G.N.O. from Miley. They are the ones that speak to me the most. My favorite character is Emily and Jake, just cause they are the funniest.
BubblyShell22 October 23rd, 2007, 9:38 pm Nobody's Perfect, and Life's What You Make It have to be my favorite Season 2 Hannah songs. I also love One In A Million because it mirrors my relationship with my BF.
gillikitty2000 October 24th, 2007, 3:26 am From season 1, i really liked if we were a movie. i didn't even know what episode it came from for a wile when i bought the CD but i loved it!
BubblyShell22 October 24th, 2007, 3:30 pm Hey, that's cool. I like Best of Both Worlds from season 1, but I like the season two songs a little bit more. I think it's because they have more of a variety than the season 1 songs, which were all about the double life of Miley and Hannah.
gillikitty2000 October 25th, 2007, 4:15 am i agree. Thats why i liked we were a movie best, bacause it wasn't about the double life. But i really like the 2nd season. its great. I also really like the episode where billy ray wrote a song for miley. That is great. especially the duet version.
houseelf25 October 25th, 2007, 4:47 am i don't mind it, but it's not my favorite show ever. she's supposed to be here, and a lot of the radio stations are doing contests so parents can win the tickets for their kids (example: Kiss Our Hiney for Hannah, where you have to suck up to the DJs and if you do well enough, you go on to the next round where you have a chance to win tickets). seriously, it's as big as the world series tickets (i live in denver, btw)
BubblyShell22 October 29th, 2007, 7:51 pm Yeah, I like Billy Ray's song that he wrote for Miley. It's good, and I love the duet version as well.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux October 30th, 2007, 9:38 pm i absolutely love the show, but I just don't like her singing. she has good intonation, but her voice is a bit fuzzy. It just doesn't sound that good. But I do like her music.
BubblyShell22 October 31st, 2007, 8:30 pm I don't think her voice is fuzzy at all. I just think she has an awesome voice and can sing a variety of music, not just pop or country.
Girlychick November 5th, 2007, 3:44 am Like I always say, everyone is intitled to his/her own opinion of Hannah Montana, but I like her, not just Hannah the pop star but Miley. I love her songs and know them by memory and I love watching the show. No matter what I can always bet I'll get a chucle from any of the lines that they dish out.
BubblyShell22 November 5th, 2007, 8:22 pm I agree. We all are entitled to our opinions. I love the show because it makes me feel good when I watch it. I can't wait for the new ep on Saturday.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux November 8th, 2007, 11:52 pm Like I always say, everyone is intitled to his/her own opinion of Hannah Montana, but I like her, not just Hannah the pop star but Miley. I love the show, Miley Cyrus is a really good actress. And I think Miley is way better than Hannah. The blond wig is just too much and glam. I like Miley more.
BubblyShell22 November 14th, 2007, 5:22 pm Yeah, I don't understand why they have Hannah wear a blond wig. I guess that they thought that Miley being herself was too dull for their standards.
succubus November 14th, 2007, 6:35 pm On the way to work this morning, I listed to a man who called in on a radio show and said that he purchased 10 tickets to a local Hannah Montana show for his daughters and their friends. Two of the friends ended up having to back out so the man sold his tickets on eBay. He got $1200 a piece for them! He had originally only paid $50 for each ticket. Now that is fan devotion at its extreme!
Voldemorts8thHorcrux November 14th, 2007, 9:03 pm wow!!!!! I wonder if my friend was one of those people, lol, she is really obsessed with Hannah.
Yeah, I don't understand why they have Hannah wear a blond wig. I guess that they thought that Miley being herself was too dull for their standards.
I think Miley is fine, she is not too dull. It's not like there arent other non-blond singers, like Rihanna, Vanessa Hudgens, um.... well, the point is, you don't have to be blond to be a star.
I don't think her voice is fuzzy at all. I just think she has an awesome voice and can sing a variety of music, not just pop or country.
I'm think they edit her voice on the cds, because on the shows, her voice is a bit fuzzy. It's not that she isn't talented, its just that age problem. Once her voice changes a bit, she'll be way better.
BubblyShell22 November 14th, 2007, 11:01 pm Oh, I wasn't saying that you have to be blonde to be a star at all. I just wasn't sure why Miley wanted to wear a blonde wig to be Hannah. She could've worn a brown wig.
I never noticed her voice being fuzzy on the show, but I'll have to check that out when I watch it again. But I see what you mean. It sounds different on the show than on the CD.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux November 14th, 2007, 11:47 pm Oh, I wasn't saying that you have to be blonde to be a star at all. I just wasn't sure why Miley wanted to wear a blonde wig to be Hannah. She could've worn a brown wig.

Its not in concerts, its on small things, like talk shows and that sort of thing. Like there was this one episode, where Hannah pretends to date Jackson, where she sings if we were a movie on some talk show, and her voice was kind of fuzzy
mistershow November 15th, 2007, 10:46 pm i've heard a lot about hannah montana... billy ray cirus's daughter?
i feel like she was born into the industry as opposed to other artists who actually had to overcome a lot of hardships to get where they are.
even that singer fantasia who gained her stardom from winning american idol did her share of hard work to get where she is. single mother? there's a movie on lifetime tonight at 8 about her life.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux November 16th, 2007, 12:12 am i've heard a lot about hannah montana... billy ray cirus's daughter?

thats exactly what i feel about her. I actualy think she's a pretty good actor, just not a good singer.
gillikitty2000 November 17th, 2007, 4:09 am I'm really not getting this fuzzy voice thing. I'm watching Hannah Montana right now, trying to pick it out, but i'm not getting it.
I also just listened to G.N.O. on the radio and i couldn't find the fuzzyness in that either.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux November 17th, 2007, 6:23 pm theres this one episode, when hannah and jackson pretend to go out, on the talk show, she sings if we were a movie, and it sounds fuzzy. and i always thought life's what you make it sounds a bit weird.
ilove her music, just not her voice
BubblyShell22 November 19th, 2007, 2:50 pm Yeah, I remember that episode. Yeah, it did sound different in that. I also agree that Life's What You Make It does sound different when she sings it live, but it could be because of the microphone or something.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux November 20th, 2007, 1:12 am it can go both ways i guess. She either has her voice fixed on the cd or the microphones are faulty
BubblyShell22 November 26th, 2007, 9:39 pm I think it's the way the microphone is. They want her to kinda sound like a robot when she sings it, but on the CD it sounds good.
witchygurl December 10th, 2007, 2:51 am I LOVE Hannah Montana!! It is the best show!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANd I love her music too, even though it is pretty corny, oh well. is jackson actually thirty? that isn't creepy and wierd or anything. and we were talking about how the hp actors might be too old to play their roles...
personally, i like the show a bit, it can be funny, but there are better shows. her songs are good, but not great, and she doesn't have a great voice or anything. i don't like the blonde wig at all, it annoys me to no end, she has such pretty reddish brown hair. im sure miley in real life is a lovely person but sometimes her tv character gets on my nerves.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux December 10th, 2007, 11:54 pm Jason Daniel Earles (born in San Diego, California) is an American actor. His birthday is April 26. His birth year has been the subject of conflicting reports. Earles was 29 years old in January 2007, per USA Today. Earles' resume gives a birth date of April 26, 1985. A story in the Houston Chronicle in July 2007 stated that he was 19 years old.
Before moving to southern California, Earles lived in Billings, Montana, where he graduated from Rocky Mountain College in 2000. He has contributed cast memorabilia to the college's fund raisers.
I found this on wikipedia.

Montse December 11th, 2007, 1:42 pm My girls are wild about her,and they make me feel so old, when i catch myself thinking the music i used to like wa better,or htat thas more noise than music.
I must be getting old...
LBuccalo December 28th, 2007, 3:39 am I am 24 and I love Hannah Montana! My little sister watches it and is obsessed! We have a good time. I love the song If we were a movie, and I also love Billy Ray's Ready, set, don't go. Makes my eyes well up :)
My sister was so bummed when the tickets sold out. It was like in 10 minutes because I was going to buy some so we could go. Honestly how can you reconcile spending thousands of dollars on a concert ticket. I don't care if Elvis came back to life for one show, I wouldn't pay that much to see him (and I happen to love the King, thank you very much:)) I am just going to (regretfully) take her to see the 3-D movie of the concert. Won't be as fun but she is desperate.
padfootrules December 31st, 2007, 5:10 pm I watch this show secretly... The songs are ok but i still like them. Something about Miley that makes this show and her music sooo likable because they are not stellar but you still love them...:)
LBuccalo January 2nd, 2008, 12:23 am I watch this show secretly... The songs are ok but i still like them. Something about Miley that makes this show and her music sooo likable because they are not stellar but you still love them...
Ha ha I did at first too! But then I got hooked and I got caught
Voldemorts8thHorcrux January 3rd, 2008, 10:18 pm I don't really get why some people sort of see miley and hannah as different people. Miley has two different identities in the rockstar world too! I loved Miley's latest songthough, start all over (by the way, why do people say she's an avril poser? there are a lotof other ppl like avril lavigne, and miley just does not seem like an avril).
xmermaidx January 21st, 2008, 11:13 pm I like the show, but I don't care for her singing.
I especially hate the concerts they show on Disney- the choreography is so fake it makes me laugh.
Yeah, I don't understand why they have Hannah wear a blond wig. I guess that they thought that Miley being herself was too dull for their standards.
Yeah, a normal girl doesn't sell as many tickets, CDs and merchandise. =]
Voldemorts8thHorcrux January 29th, 2008, 11:30 pm i think Miley looks way better as miley, and she does do some songs at concerts and music videos and that kind of thing as miley instead of Hannah. Like "Start All Over" is Miley, and so is "GNO". And about the whole "no nonblondes thing", avril lavigne was so popular and loved by her fans when she still had brown hair. Some see her as trying to strive and "fit in" with all the other blondes and not being different and stuff after she dyed it.
gillikitty2000 February 1st, 2008, 10:09 pm Have you guys seen the music video for "Start all over" It is so weird yet really cool. They have Miley wear a wig as hannah because that is the point of the show. The point was to be about a pop star that is secret because she wants to have a normal life and not have to deal with all the famey poperatsi (sp?) ****. thats why seh wears the wig. And even though every one knows they are the same, it doesn't matter because the blond wig is the hannah image.
I really like "as i am" and "GNO" personally. I also like "See you Again" and that one is even playing on Z100 now. I don't know if that is just a portland station or not, but that is a station that pretty much only plays rap and **** like that.
My dad came home and he was amazed because the movie tickets are sold out and he was amazed that on the classic rock station he was listening to, was giving away movie tickets for the 3-D movie. It was really funny.
Lil_G135 March 15th, 2008, 12:57 am Ah, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus... I can't believe how popular she's become! I mean I've watched the show a couple times and it isn't bad... pretty funny, actually. Vocally, though I'm not a real fan. I do like "See You Again" - it's one of my guilty pleasures, but it doesn't *feel* like a real song. Hearing it on the radio is just weird for me ^_^; She just doesn't seem like a very strong singer right now.
That being said, I wish people would leave her alone -- seems like so many people can't wait for her to mess up ^^;;;
And for some random reason... she kind of reminds me of Rachel Ray - they do sort of look alike!
potterposse March 22nd, 2008, 2:00 am I'm not a huge fan, I actually think the show is sort of lame....i've watched it a few times since my sister loves the show, and only found like a couple things funny (who writes it?). I think the obsession is getting a bit too big, I can't go in a store without seeing something that isn't Hanna Montana in every single aisle....I can't deny her voice isn't bad (i've heard better though), but I hate how every single song is pretty much pop. I actually don't think i would mind it is she sang something in another genre. But hey, she's laughing her way to the bank. :p
I agree with you up there, that song is sort of a guilty pleasure. thats about it as her music goes for me though.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux March 22nd, 2008, 2:57 am Really? she's that popular ? No one really likes her that much in my grade though some younger kids do at my school. It really bothers me when my friend talks about how awesome she is. She has an ok voice...but it just wouldn't be good enough to be this famous if she didn't have Billy Ray Cyrus as her dad.
potterposse March 22nd, 2008, 12:56 pm I agree...It makes me a little annoyed knowing there were people who've worked hard to egt into where they are now, and you see people who only get in becuase of relations...I will say though her dad at least is keeping her more staright than these other kid stars so she won't be like Jamie Lynn. I do have to give him that. But yeah, she IS that popular, and it's getting a little tiresome. I wouldn't have had such a problem with it if she wasn't so overated.
LBuccalo March 22nd, 2008, 5:09 pm i think Miley looks way better as miley, and she does do some songs at concerts and music videos and that kind of thing as miley instead of Hannah. She does look better as Miley. I think the only reason she has the blond wig though is because of the show. It is all about her trying to hide her double life, so she had to have a disguise.
I think it is refreshing that her voice is different. I mean its not the best, but it is still really good. She has a really pretty, husky sounding vioce that is way different from alot of popstars.
The best thing about her though is that she IS a good role model for young girls. I mean with everything girls see in the media nowadays, its nice to have a girl who is so wholesome. I mean yes her show can be corny, and yes her songs can be too, but at least its not all about sex with her. Its just feel good music young girls can get a good message from.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux March 22nd, 2008, 5:31 pm I defintly agree with that :tu:. There will always be rumors, but most people will prbably just see it as media trying to get some dirt on someone who has nothing on them.
potterposse March 28th, 2008, 7:04 pm I just heard that see you again on my local radio station, and not Radio Disney for the first time...I thought it was strange to hear her on the radio, but I said earlier that song was my guilty pleasure to begin with. I don't know why I find it so darn catchy! :p
iloveher101204 April 12th, 2008, 10:45 pm I'm a complete dork when it comes to Hannah Montana. :D It's the only Disney Channel show I really watch anymore.. I would have to say Miley and Oliver are my favorite characters. I definitely think they should go on a date.. hah.. that would be grand.
PureBloodGirl April 13th, 2008, 12:09 am I like her music, but this "Phenomenon" has gone way to far. Everyone especailly kids are going insane over her. I used to like the show, but now I can't stand it. I like her music better as Miley Cyrus also.
Little fact her real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus, but about two weeks ago she changed it Miley Ray Cyrus.
DeathlyH April 13th, 2008, 1:14 am I don't get the appeal of Hannah Montana or Miley Cirus. I watched the show a few times when it first started, and it bored me to tears. She isn't even that good of a singer. When she performed on Idol Gives Back last Wednesday I left the room. She is very pretty but I don't care for her TV show or music at all.
HouseStark April 13th, 2008, 1:45 am This thread makes me question my faith in humanity.
gipro2003 April 13th, 2008, 2:20 am I have major issues with the whole Hannah Montana Phenomenon. (I actually have major issues with lots of Hollywood ) I really think that she is too young to be involved in so much of Hollywood. I think Hollywood forces teens to grow up so quickly and also makes them focus more on things like image and such. Plus all that money she makes that could be going to worthwhile causes. Okay, mini-rant over.
ETA: I'm just using her as an example, since that is what the discussion is about, many celebrities fit into my description.
LikeLuna April 13th, 2008, 4:04 am Ah, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus... I can't believe how popular she's become! I mean I've watched the show a couple times and it isn't bad... pretty funny, actually. That being said, I wish people would leave her alone -- seems like so many people can't wait for her to mess up ^^;;;
I completely agree with all of this. For some reason she rubs me the wrong way...maybe it's jealousy (because she's slightly younger than me and a pretty good singer) or whatever. I really don't like most of her music, with the exception of "See You Again", which I would probably adore if it were by someone else and she didn't stick her name in there. ;) I like the show enough to watch it when I'm bored. I think what really bothers me about her is how selfish and stuck-up her character can be on the show. I'm not sure if this is meant to be a replication of her and her values but if it is I'm glad I haven't met her. She seems superficial and materialistic, which I really can't stand. But as far as role models for young girls go, she's an acceptable choice seeing as she hasn't been running around naked and doing drugs and getting pregnant.
So that's how I feel.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux April 29th, 2008, 10:26 pm I am getting really annoyed now. There were some photos of her on some magazine where she is half naked except for a blanket and people are making such a big deal out of it!!!! I mean really, it's only showing her back, even rated G stuff has stuff worse than that. the media is just waiting for her to slip up and in the meantime, they're making a big deal out of tiny things. I hope she never has to really worry about them coming after her. I'm not her biggest fan, but no one deserves this. I can't see why the media can't handle that she's got basically no dirt on her and stuff like that.
PureBloodGirl April 30th, 2008, 9:59 pm This thread makes me question my faith in humanity.
Um...why?
potterposse May 11th, 2008, 4:13 pm HOLY! Did anyone hear about the news where a certain man (Hugh Hefner) wants Miley to pose for a certain magazine? UGH! It makes me sick! I may not be a huge Miley fan but people seriously need to back off now. That's too much right there.
Voldemorts8thHorcrux May 11th, 2008, 8:12 pm HOLY! Did anyone hear about the news where a certain man (Hugh Hefner) wants Miley to pose for a certain magazine? UGH! It makes me sick! I may not be a huge Miley fan but people seriously need to back off now. That's too much right there.
if only there was a really extreme smiley for what I'm feeling right now.... Anyways, what's wrong with people!!! Why can't they just accept that she's...miley? They're basically punishing her for being innocent! I'm not the biggest Miley fan, at least with singing, but I really am starting to admire her in that she still is innocent and a great role model for kids and her fans and haven't done something dumbwith her career yet.
LilyLunaPotter February 3rd, 2009, 1:43 am I really dont like Mylie Cyrus, or Hannah Montana. But I will admit when my sister turns it on, I actually watch it and enjoy myself. I mean her show is soooo funny, it always makes me laugh. And I like her song "Rockstar" and "True Friend". Those are actually really nice songs in my opnion. But I can not stand, "See You Again" "GNO" or "Fly On the Wall", those are the only songs of hers that I truly dislike.
But as a person, I dont really like her... at all...
And if I had a choice in watching her or football, id pick football....
Voldemorts8thHorcrux February 9th, 2009, 10:24 pm I take back what i said two posts above...Miley is starting to become the next britney spears on a smaller scale...I still think that the media needs to cut her some slack, I mean underneath it all she's still a teen but still....not really doing so great:p
And actually, I like Fly on the Wall, it's not great, but not terrible either
Harry852 March 10th, 2009, 2:15 am Hannah Montana is my favorite show, and my favorite music. :D She rox!
PureBloodGirl March 10th, 2009, 2:39 am I cannot stand Hannah Montana anymore. Luckily, this may be the end of her. There's supposed to be some Hannah Montana movie coming out soon and it is going to be the end of all things Hannah Montana. I guess the story line is that she'll have to choose between being Miley and being Hannah. She'll pick Miley, no doubt. So... No more Hannah Montana! Woohoo!!!!
Tonks_Animagus September 4th, 2009, 9:41 am I have to admit that the show was very funny, but I prefer Miley :)
AldeberanBlack September 6th, 2009, 7:50 pm The thing that annoys me most about the Hanna Montana phenomenon are the amount of fully grown adults who seem to be enthusiastically hoping that Miley Cyrus crashes and burns.
She seems like a perfectly nice person, yet there is so much hostility against her.
lcbaseball22 October 29th, 2009, 11:37 pm I just heard this song on country radio the other day and I was thinking, "oh God, Miley Cyrus is continuing to invade country?!" but I was wrong...it just sounded a lot like her, that manly voice you know? :relax: And the song is called "Skinny Dipping", so I thought that was disturbing considering she's not even 18 yet. Thank God it wasn't really her and I hope she stays away from country music from now on.
The song she did as a duet with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus (who's gone so downhill) was alright, but her solo "country" single called The Climb just sounded awful. I have to say that her new single sounds even worse though. It's called "Party in the USA" and it's sooo synthesized...
Tonks_Animagus October 30th, 2009, 7:00 pm Are you kidding?! Her songs are awesome! I just love The climb, 7 Things, Party in the U.S.A., See You Again and Fly On The Wall.
I don't know why people hate her. They don't even know her. I believe she's just a girl who is hated by people because she managed to make a huge career from her 16. (And no, not due to her dad.)
lcbaseball22 October 30th, 2009, 11:41 pm ^ Yeah, I'm kidding. I love listening to her "manly voice" :relax: She can't sing worth a dime...hence why they have to synthesize her voice.
Tonks_Animagus October 31st, 2009, 3:13 pm ^ Yeah, I'm kidding. I love listening to her "manly voice" :relax: She can't sing worth a dime...hence why they have to synthesize her voice.
^I don't think so... I think she's got a beautiful voice... at least, I couldn't sing like that (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pAaOz17Ehs)... and it's not "manly"...
dumbledores1fan November 1st, 2009, 12:13 pm The only song I care to listen to by her is Party In the USA. It's just a very happy and catchy song; at first I hated it, but then when my sister and mom continued listening to it, it kind of grew on me.
She's a pretty good role model when it comes to kids. She is one of the few younger celebrities that has stayed pure and doesn't do stupid things that she may regret later on. *cough*Lindsay Lohan*cough*

You sure about that?
Clearly you didn't hear about the naughty pictures or her stripper pole dance routine at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards :relax:
Oh, and on top of that she's rumored to have a nude scene in an upcoming film. And I just found out that she was voted "The Worst Celeb Influence of 2009" beating out Britney Spears, Kanye West, Vanessa Hudgens, and Shia Labeouf for the top spot (see below)...although it's probably something you don't want to win  Personally I think Kanye is actually more deserving of this un-wanted title, but whatever...
JSYK.com (Just So You Know), AOL's pop culture blog for 9- to 15-year-olds, recently tallied 44,594 online votes. In its "Worst Celeb Influence" category, Cyrus received 42% of votes -- beating out Britney Spears (27%) and VMA interrupter Kanye West (19%). Vanessa Hudgens ranked at 9%, thanks to her nude Web photos. Shia LeBeouf's intoxication problems brought him in at 3%.

I actually wasn't aware that naughty pictures of her had come about.
I also think that her performance on the Teen Choice Awards was that bad. I think it was pulled way out of perportion. I think people just wanted to make a big deal about it, when really it was nothing too bad.

Ok, it wasn't the cleverest thing she has done, but every teenager I know does this. They just aren't famous so they aren't worried that their pics will spread through the internet. They keep them for themselves. Also, I suppose every other famous, including famous Hollywood stars have done a lot more worse photos. Miley just posed naughty in a swimsuit with a friend and with her own camera.

Oh, come on, have you seen Lady Gaga on stage? Miley's performance wasn't that bad, and she's more famous than Gaga. Also, I know Miley's a very good person, the image she gave in the choise awards wasn't her original image. Her original image is how she is on the Climb video-clip. I know that, because I have seen all of her interviews and she's really sweet and kind with all everyone. Plus, from the "Hannah Montana" movie and from some concerts she had gave, all the money she took she gave it to the poor.
Trust me, I wouldn't like someone who has a bad personality. I always first do a research before I decide I'm an official fan of a singer or actor/actress. I used to like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears very much until they started being so bad people. :)
lcbaseball22 November 2nd, 2009, 8:27 pm ^ I was referring to her nude photos...and Lady Gaga is an adult, Miley isn't ;)
Tonks_Animagus November 2nd, 2009, 8:31 pm ^ I was referring to her nude photos too. I didn't know she had other nude photos. Has she?
Lady GaGa is an adult, yes, and Miley is 17 years old and much more famous than GaGa. Has Miley ever done a video-clip similar to GaGa's?

Yes, Miley and Gaga really can't be compared. Have you seen the Paparazzi music video? It is not very appropriate for anyone younger than the age of 13, and I don't even like it for some of it's content.
Though I do like Gaga's music, hopefully Miley will never become like her. She should really stay pure and not get caught up in all the pressures of Hollywood and start to do reckless things and become someone liky say, Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears.
lcbaseball22 November 3rd, 2009, 1:06 am Since when does a bathing suit qualify as nude? ;) Nude = no clothes...and she's proven more than willing to shed them for publicity. :relax:
And if Miley and Lady Gaga "can't be compared" then why were you comparing them in the first place? :hmm: I was just responding to you.
Anyways, the kids don't seem to agree with you. I mean she beat out Kanye West for worst celeb influence, now THAT is saying something!
I'm done with this argument though. I don't care enough to take this further. I can't stand her music or her masculine sounding voice and I could care less what she does with her life...but mark my words, she is gonna end up just like the others mentioned, she's already started.

Agreed.

Really? I have googled her millions of times and never seen those photos. Please, if anyone else had just tell me. :hmm:

I compare them to make you guys see that they can't be compared. Does it make sense comparing the Climb video-clip with the Paparazzi video-clip? No, that's why I compare them. To make other see that they can't be compared. Does that make any sense at all?
Anyways, the kids don't seem to agree with you. I mean she beat out Kanye West for worst celeb influence, now THAT is saying something!
Really? Where did you see that? Seriously, Miley's nude photos rumours and worst celeb influence awards, those are things I've never seen or heard of.

I don't think she'll end up like Britney Spears, but if you're done, I'm done, too, because it doesn't seem like there's anyone else in here that disagrees with what I say. :) I just would really appreciate it if you read my last post.
lcbaseball22 November 3rd, 2009, 4:36 pm You asked me to look at it. Well, I'll do you one better...but this is my last post in this thread-
Really? I have googled her millions of times and never seen those photos. Please, if anyone else had just tell me. :hmm:
They were removed, of course. But my friend who's obsesed with her saw them. I personally don't look up nude pics of underage girls :relax:

No, it doesn't...which is why I asked that

I bet you she'll have her own sex video before long...
And it's more likely nobody else cares enough about her to say anything ;) I'm not sure why I got involved in the first place even...
HarryXGinny4evr December 20th, 2009, 8:49 pm I love Hannah and Miley! Yes, I know some of you may hate me for this, but it's true. Miley is a GREAT singer, WAAAY better than Lady Gaga or Brittany Spears. I've admired her since she got her start in Hannah Montana, and i've watched the show ever since. And sure, she did some bad things, but don't we all? She's my role model!
Tonks_Animagus December 21st, 2009, 3:10 pm I still think she sings beautiful. :) And it's live. I just love this song!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw5ijJWqTRQ
Also, she's both a great actress and singer. And me, including everyone I know, has never seen nude pictures of her on the Internet. AS for that performance in the Awards, I think people should stop judging her, because she's now a legal adult and can wear and do whatever she wants without being afraid that some people will call her a "bad role-model". That's silly. She never said: "Hey little kids! Do whatever I do, and follow my steps, because I'm a role-model!" Maybe Hannah Montana is a role-model, but Miley not IMO. In addition, haven't you heard about celebrities just as famous as her who have done much more worst things? Illegal things and stuff. I think Miley is a good person compared to them.
Linda86 June 9th, 2010, 6:12 am Ohhh I absolutely love Miley Cyrus! We can discuss Miley Cyrus in this thread, right? I like Hannah Montana, too. I'm very sad the show is ending :( I'm also devastated I missed the Hannah Montana concert & that she won't tour as her no more :upset:
I'm divided how I feel about her sexy appeal. I do believe her edgy style is her true side & she's only getting flack because of her age but for her age & her status to influence is a concern. But then again, she's not responsible for the parent's child. Whatever. I just love her :)
Ireth3 August 14th, 2010, 12:30 am Are you kidding?!
Can I just say that I completely agree :) Miley is great, and she has done so well for being so famous at an age so young.
MuggleGirl09 August 14th, 2010, 1:53 am I don't hate her, but I don't like her music or show at all. I don't think she is a good actress. And I mean, she isn't the worst singer but definitely not good..at least not to me. I do like the lyrics of "The Climb" and "7 Things" although I don't like the video for it. Like, 12 year old girls saying "love"? Eh.
_mollywobbles_ August 20th, 2010, 2:12 am I have to ask, does she have sort of a speech impediment or lispy thing or something? I have never quite been able to put my finger on it.
