Cool! I didn't know new forums were up. :) Glad there's a photography forum, cause unfortunately I am not a very good drawer, so I couldn't participate in all the fan art competitions, even though I would've liked to!!

Here are some photos I took in Iran in 2004 using my Canon EOS Rebel 2000. I printed the photos in the darkroom myself (they are scanned).

I love photos of old statues. Both your Iran and IU photos are beautiful!

Went through your links and there are some gorgeous shots there. I especially like the Man Playing an Instrument. You obviously have an eye for architectural details and I love the lighting as well. You might try actually inserting some of your favorite images as images, rather than just links to follow as this will certainly make people want to see more.

Great work and please continue!

Thank you for your comments!! I would check back almost everyday to see if anyone commented, but nope lol...

I thought I read a notice saying we can't post images because CoS can only handle so much? I don't know... But yes, perhaps you are right, maybe that's why I don't get any comments here!

Thank you!! :)

CoS mods have asked us to host our images offsite. Since all of your images are already hosted offsite, you are set. When you click the 'Insert Image' button, you will be prompted to type in the address to your image, so the image itself still resides on your host site. Keep in mind, though, that folks with slower connections may have problems with larger images. I usually try to keep individual images down to no larger than 100 to 150 k, and no bigger than about 6 inches wide. To do this, you'll need to resize and de-res your shot (they will still look fine, though).

Of course, this is just me talking, and when in doubt, I would say ask a mod! I have always gotten a quick response from the Photography section mods.

Hmmm... odd thing. When I viewed your edited post with the images, I only saw the dreaded 'red X' for each image, which is what you usually see with a broken image link. I was able to go to the properties of each image(red X), copy the address, paste into another browser window and the image would appear. At that point, the image would show up in your post. Not sure why that is. Maybe the extra period in the file name? It could very well be on my end, as I usually run Firefox, but am on IE right now, but it looks like other images were coming up fine. Anyone else have this problem? Probably just me.

Anyway, I am really looking forward to seeing more of your work!
