Favourite Anime Hero/Villain

:D...Who is your Favourite Anime Hero/Villain?

When i say favourite villain i mean the most evil one you've ever seen and does its job well and you like it.

I've seen Dragonball Z and my favourtite hero is obviously Goku but my favourite villain is i think Cell or frieza.

For favorite villian will have to go with Sir Vicious from Cowboy Bebop, as the leaders of Red Dragon say- his heart is so cold its black. Victor from the movie seems pretty heartless, only his back story is sad and I felt more sorry than fearful of the character. Hero-Cain of Trinity Blood.

Personally, it's Team Rocket (particularly James ; as stereotypical as this may sound, I'll admit I'm still a teenage girl) all the way. Can you even call them villains ? :D
Harley from Pokémon is another favorite. So wonderfully effeminate and deceitful.

I haven't got any favourite hero though... I've never been one for heroes. :grumble:

She's the main character, so she can't be a villian. In every story, evil or not, the main character is the hero. Besides, Lucy was more of a victim than a villian. I'd consider the General Director and his son to be the villians. Even Mariko becomes more of an anti-hero than a villian at the end. In fact, pretty much all of the villians that I have listed are anti-heroes rather than villians, Sesshoumaru and Suigintou especially.

I think Lucy is too complex with her split personalities to be either completly Hero or villian.

Mariko I consider a full villian as she was never on the good side and didn't show any positive aspects.

I never heard that point of view before, but I'm choosing to believe that the protagonist is not necessarily a hero.

I love Chloe from Noir. She's not exactly a hero and she kills lots of people so I guess she's a villain, but she was always pro Kirika. I'm not sure what you'd call her but I like her character.

I'd call her a hero, or an anti-hero of sorts. She's certainly not evil, just a too innocent girl who is in way over her head.

I dunno about the heroes, and I know I have more of these, but at the top of my head, I do enjoy Team Rocket from Pokemon, and Sae from Peach Girl as some good villians.

I love Team Rocket's humor, and neverending effort trying to get rare Pokemon and Pikachu. I especially liked them in the earlier seasons, when they had background stories and more personality and were affected by them.Though they kinda suck at what they do... they are alot more likable than Butch and Cassidy and Team Aqua and Magma (I'm sure it's because of the character development, but still!)

And with Sae -- she's one of those villians I just wish I could jump into the story and slap silly... which means she's great for the job :D She's vindictive, an amazing liar and actress, and just overall a great character you love to hate. And you have to admit, she might not have seem so evil if she wasn't tricking the more dimmer characters of the series all the time, but after awhile you just can't fault her for them being so gullible >:P And if you were a fan of one of Momo's potential love interests, Sae's last scheme makes you can't stand her more.

Ed Elric is also my favorite anime hero!!! He's the best!

Hero: Kay, from Beyblade. It's a little unfair, isn't it? He's everybody's favorite Beyblade character. Oh well, he deserves it.

Villian: Zuko, from Avatar. He reminds me of Draco. Go, Zuko, go!

Son Goku from Dragon Ball. Simple and stupid, that's how Naruto creator Kishimoto Masashi explained him after modeling Naruto after him.

Piccolo Daimao from Dragon Ball is also my favorite villain, even though I'm a fan of Ilpalazzo Sama from Excel Saga (anime), and Sesshomarou-sama from Inuyasha.

Ed Elric is also my favorite anime hero!!! He's the best!

My favorite hero, or should I say anti-hero, is Vegeta. However, Goku closely follows him. My favorite villain is Freeza.

My favourite hero..probably a tie between Sakura of Cardcaptor Sakura, and Kamui of X.

Villains, I'm not so sure of.

I'm not sure I've got a favorite hero, but for villains I absolutely must say Vicious from Cowboy BeBop. He's so ruthless and unapologetic. He's vindictive, unforgiving, and greedy for power.
I also love the fact that despite the obvious advantages, he chooses not to use a gun.

Sailor Moon is deffiently my Hero [from Sailor Moon - duh!] (weather its Anime or not) :agree:
Tohru Honda [Fruits Basket] is also a really good Hero - shes always SO happy!!
Kagome [InuYasha] totally cool!

Alucard is a facinating "hero." It is funny to think of a hero as someone who loved fighting and killing, but he is on the good side so... I also just bought Hellsing Ultimate Volume IV and I can't wait to check it out when it's delivered!

Also on the villain side I like Light from Death Note. He gets quite the God-complex, doesn't he?

As for heroes, I like Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket (as someone else also mentioned). I just love her outlook on life and how she treats other people.

Hysteria: I hardly count Ryuk as a hero lol....

To touch on what somebody else said, I feel like Lucy was a victim more than a hero or villian.

My favorite hero would be Monkey D Ruffy since he is so stupid but when his friend are in danger he really tries to save them with all his might even though it at times seems impossible.

My favorite villain would be Orochimaru from Naruto. He has no goal like ruling the world or destroy it. He just wants to see nations fight with each other, he wants the big nations to move. And he also wants to be the strongest ninja of course but he wants everything to be in chaos. Also he doesn't care about anyone and he uses dirty and evil tricks to get what he wants.

Kurosaki Ichigo (BLEACH) - I am seriously in love with this boy. He has no pretensions, he has no grand dreams of 'saving the world' like your typical shonen manga action hero. ♥!

My favorite amime hero is son-goku because he's the coolest guy in the world!!:clap:

He's also one of the best main characters EVER!!!

He's cool, funny and very pleasant and never a pain in the neck like Naruto, Ruffy or other guys.It's sad to see as they do their best to make such a good main character like him.But they cannot do it!!!
