How can it be that there was not already a thread for this fantastic band?!??! Anyway, here is the place to discuss The Who, in my opinion one of the most influential groups in rock. So, discuss away, and here's some questions to start off with :)

When/how did you get into their music?
Hearing it on the radio and as the theme song for the CSI shows :).

My favourite song - I can't really pick ONE, but top of the list are Baba O'Riley, Love Reign O'er Me, and Behind Blue Eyes.

favorite member - Roger, he has such an amazing, powerful voice and I love the way he acts on stage :lol:
I discovered them about two years ago while flipping through radio stations. :lol:

Live At Leeds, or maybe Quadrophenia if you're talking about studio albums :)

Keith Moon. Even though he's been dead for ages...

When/how did you get into their music?
I think it actually started when I began listening to Paul Weller, who was a bit of a Mod revivalist, and then Oasis did a cover of My Generation. That was over ten years ago now...

Favorite Song: My Generation. It's one of those songs that you can't forget about.

Favorite Member: A tie between John Entwistle and Pete Townsend. They both did so much for the rock industry.

I got into their music by watching a Rockumentary about them and watching CSI.

I think they are doing a tour at the moment. Or they have atlease been doing one recently. My dad saw them recently as well.

But it would have of been a lot better to see them in their prime.

Live 8 was when i really got into them. They were amazing at that. Liked them before this though

When/How did you get into them?: I heard them for the first time on the radio in the car with my dad....he's a huge rock and roll fan! And Magic Bus came on the radio and I was like who is this and he was like this is The Who and I've been in love ever since. I was 13 then. I'm 29 now. LOL!

Did anyone see the VH1 Rock Honors thing they did for The Who? Twas great! Pearl Jam actually blew me away...which I'm not a huge fan of Pearl Jam but their performance made me want to take back some of the trash talking I'd done in the past about them.
