UPDATE: Ghost of Banquo, the Witches in 3rd post!

So we just finished Macbeth in English class, and we have to do a project. One of the choices was to draw five scenes from the play. I have drawn one scene, and I wanted to get a few opinions on it...

I'm by no means a good drawer/painter/etc., especially when the subject is a person (hence the exclusion of the face in the picture) so I'm not really concerned with proportions and anatomy and stuff like that in the drawings. I'd just like to know if it's passable, and not the worst thing you've ever seen. It was drawn/painted in Corel Painter Essentials 3, PSP X, and Photoshop Elements with a Wacom tablet. "Ṭiseach de Cawdor" means, roughly (at least as far as I could tell from the very limited dictionary), "Thane of Cawdor" in Scottish Gaelic, which is what I assumed they would speak in Scotland during the time period when Macbeth takes place.

Thanks! I was wondering if anybody would ever comment on this thread. :p

I've completed another drawing for the same project that I personally like a lot better than this first one...

And this one, which I like but I'm not sure if it's very good...

I really like them - the second one is of the three witches, right? What are you using to draw them? :)

Thanks again :) Yes, it's the three witches...I forgot to add a quote on that one. It's supposed to be the whole "double, double, toil and trouble" scene (I can't seem to hear that as a chant, every time I read it I think of the PoA movie...)

I'm using a Wacom tablet and Corel Painter Essentials 3/Photoshop Elements 4, which both came packaged with it. I think the package was around $200, but I'm not sure cause it was a Christmas gift last year...not bad for everything that it comes with. Painter Essentials is pretty cool.

 I want a Wacom tablet so badly...

Onto the pictures, they are pretty good. I'm impressed with the second picture after you stated in the first post you are awful at faces (which apparently you aren't.... Because I can't draw faces digitally at ALL.)

The witches picture I like the background a lot, including the grass -- sky, etc.. But the witches themselves I'm not too sure about. They're not horrible, but there's something off I'm not sure about.

Thanks! :) For the face I actually traced the basic outlines/shapes from a photo. But the burn and dodge tools in PS Elements are officially my best friends now...I found this really cool tutorial for drawing hair from scratch...it looks better in brown colors than gray, but it'll do. :p I do think that I need to add the wounds that Banquo was supposed to have on his head or whatever...

And I definitely agree about the witches, 100%...I think I might redo that one if I have time, now that I figured I can trace body shapes and faces...I think that their hands have issues as well  not even Voldemort's fingers could look that spidery...I saved a copy of the drawing with the layers intact, so it will be easy to fix if I have time...

Thanks again for the comments :)...I might be posting another later today or tomorrow...
