There are a lot of anime in the world that I miss that either a) ended or b) got cut from air. Her are a few of mine

These are the ones I can think of off the top of my head

I so miss Jura Tripper (Dino Adventure Jurassic Tripper). :(
I watched it so many times, I can't count. And when I finally got a video recorder they canceled the series. Or better said the channel turned into another one where they didn't show anime.

And I miss City Hunter and LUpin III and Ranma 1/2.
Gundam Wing is also on my list and Inuyasha.

There are so many old anime series I love which aren't broadcasted anymore. :(

I would love for their creaters to continue with them.

They stopped here around episode 333 (4 seasons) and I wish they would stop repeating Pokemon over and over again and show the new episodes instead. I started to watch the movies now though.

Oh yeah I Case Closed(Detective Conan) that was a cool show, they need to keep on playing it =/ they need to get rid of all the **** they have on Adult Swim i.e ATHF, harvey birdman all those shows are so stupid I think.

I miss Sailor Moon, Hana Yori Dango, and Detective Conan. Both Sailor Moon and Hanadan's anime and manga have ended, and they were so good. And though I haven't finished Hanadan's manga or anime, I have a feeling how both will end and I dread it -- not the actual ending, but it ending! It's one of the few series that really makes me laugh all the time ^^ And Tsukushi isn't overly sappy and stupid either, and Tsukasa isn't the perfect, kind gentleman which is a plus!!

With Conan, I just kind of miss watching it on television. I mean buying the dvds does have its perks -- I get to see the Japanese version, outtakes, and I wont accidently take over them -- but I loved staying up with my cousin just to watch the episodes... for free, no less. And then who knows if Funi'll decide to do all the episodes. If they don't, how will I feel my Conan-fix then? :p

Ooh yeah, definitely with Inuyasha and Fruits Basket (can't say anything for Death Note, as I haven't seen it). The 'ending' for Inuyasha was terrible. WHY did I waste all my time on those episodes when they hardly make ANY progress by the series end? And Fruits Basket... even if the second season is a bit darker, I would LOVE to see it animated. I find the manga kind of boring... ^^;

I completely agree. I mean they had Naraku in their grasp and then the creators just let him...get away. They better make a movie of them FINALLY getting him or something because that was just stupid.

I watched Sailor Moon in the afternoons and Cardcaptors on saturday morning

I miss Rurouni Kenshin and Trigun. Kenshin comes and goes it seems, and I'm not sure whether Trigun's still on, but that was a great series.

I think I've seen Trigun on late at night I think it comes on during the week days though :(

... I really miss Gundam Wing, and Digimon.. But, I have all of GW on DVD anyway ^^;;

I watched the first season of Pokemon, but lost interest after that. Not a fan of the new companions and everything. My Pokemon love back then went so far that I was able to name all 150 first pokemon out of head.

I, too, miss WHR. I also miss Sailor Moon. I haven't seen it in about four or five years.

Sailor Moon was I think the first anime I've ever seen. Thus I have a really strong love for it and the movies

I missed Detective Conan, of course in english or with English subtitle (http://www.allsubs.org/), it's the smartest anime ive seen so far. it gives an idea to murderers on how to get through a crime hehehehh..

I miss Dragon Ball Z's old dub by Ocean Group, not the stupid one that FUNI's inhouse actors became famous for when they redubbed it in English a few years ago.

Brian Drummond beats Chris Sabat at Vegeta any day.

I've got to agree on Trinity Blood and Full Metal Alchemist is possibly the best anime of all time. I miss Ed and Al :( I would have like to have seen more of Black Cat...and maybe some less cheesy eps of sailor moon. Don't get me wrong I love sailor moon (it was my first anime) but it needed some more oomph after a while

I miss Inuyasha, Gundam Wing, Witch Hunter Robin, Fruits Basket, Kenshin.

Ergo Proxy finished up. And now I'm on the look out for Black Blood Brothers and a few others I found on the Funimation site.

My favorite anime is the Mysterious Cities of Gold, released in Japan in 1982 and in France in 1983. I don't see it often on tv, luckily I have the DVDs :lol:. And my son is fond of it too, so we can watch it together :D.

I really wished they had continued Rurouni Kenshin in the original format, I dislike Samurai X and such by comparison.

Yeah Sailor Moon was like the first big fandom I was into. In the past they showed so many good anime on tv and now there's nothing.

I also loved Lady Oscar, Attack #1, Captain Future, Cat's Eye and much more.

Hm, I'm having a tough time coming up with Japanese animated shows I miss or wish would've been continued since most series literally do get an "ending" so to speak. Most American things are left open-ended...like Mighty Max or The New Adventures of Johnny Quest or even the simplistic Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears.

I guess shows I would like more of are:

Hunter x Hunter: It was never dubbed over, and I still don't get why since the manga is released here. The manga kept going, and it would be nice if the anime could come up with more.

Fruits Basket: I miss this for the same reason as Hunter x Hunter. The story kept going, the anime didn't.

Gokusen: Same as Hunter x Hunter and Fruits Basket. The story kept going, the anime didn't.

Kuro****suji: Doesn't have a dub yet, but hate the fact it's supposed to end after only 26 eps. I really like this series so far. Been a while since I've been into any anime or saw one where I'd consider it a favorite.

Gundam Wing: I wish that they could've animated everything that occurs at the end of Gundam Wing up to where Endless Waltz begins. The dramas and manga cover it though.

Ronin Warriors: I still love this series and wish it'd get on DVD (again) so I can buy it. lol Why won't Bandai re-release the boxset!! T_T

Pokemon: I miss when Pokemon only had 151 Pokemon. I even liked season 2, but got a bit lost after that.

Inuyasha!!! I really wish they would finish the dang series!

and others I just wish would come on TV...

This was my favourite show of all time as a child! I was so glad when the DVDs FINALLY came out!

Like a lot of other people here have said, I wish Fruits Basket had got a second season. I really don't understand why it didn't- it is such a popular series, and the story is there in the manga.

I'd also really like to maybe one day see some more Escaflowne- I loved the series and would really like to know if Hitmoi ever got back to Gaia.

And, if it isn't obvious with my user name/ avatar, I am a massive Full Metal Panic fan and since the final novel is being published in Japan in August I am really keeping my fingers crossed for them to do another series to see it finished off :agree:

I miss this one called 3x3 eyes. Its really old but epic at the same time. My friend lent it to me on VHS last year and I fell in love with it. Went to watch the rest. I wish they would make more. :/

Anybody heard of this one? Vampire Knight. The manga hasn't stopped, but I don't think they do any more shows. (except maybe reruns)
