The Hogwarts Experience is a Harry Potter forum like none other!
We have classes, Quidditch, duelling and debates, fanfiction, graphics, challenges and chat. There are big events such as a Quadwizard Tournament and Big Brother, and forums to talk about everything and anything.
Take a look at our mot recent news...
Our first item of news, and one of the most important, is to say a massive CONGRATULATIONS to our Headmistress Sharon (Elfie Dumbledore) and Mick (Severus Snape), on the birth of their daughter Aimee on the 15th November. A congratulations thread is up in the Notice Board, and Elfie has started posting squee-worthy photo's in Hogwarts Community. Again, congratulations to the both of you!
In other news...
Our current Big Event, School's Out is winding down, though there's still time to earn last minute housepoints with the Carnival and Form Room Register. This event has proved to be a huge success, with masses of housepoints being earned for the participants. Check the Event Forum in the coming days to find out just how many points each house will be taking home.
The Second Event, Talent X, is moving forward and is now in the second round: Boot Camp. Each participant has been assigned a mentor who must guide them through the rest of the competition. Coming up in this event is the campaign round - where the acts will be aiming to win your vote, then the final performance round, after which a vote will be opened up to decide the winner.
A new forum has been opened to house all of the wintery events coming your way. Check the Festive Event Forum over the coming weeks, where we've got several treats in store. Already you can sign up for the HE Pantomime, Holiday Quidditch games and a Secret Santa Exchange.
If you visit the site on or after the 22nd November, you'll see that we'll have in place a special Christmas skin. The default green skin will still be available to use through the drop-down skin selector.
Speaking of Christmas - we're going to have many challenges and activities popping up around the site, so keep an eye on the updates thread in the Notice Board for more information. Here's a sneak-peek: we've got an advent calendar, a Yule Ball, The Four Weeks of Christmas challenge...and much more!
Tournaments
Running alongside the events and festivities are all the usual tournaments. The Quidditch season is going strong; head over to the Quidditch forum to find out the latest scores. Our graphics tournament is well under way, and is currently on its third round. If you're participating, remember to PM your graphics ASA P. If you're not, you can still support the contestants by voting for each round. The debate tournament has started, so if you're taking part in that, the first round instructions are in the debate forum.
House Spirit weeks are also taking place, with every House taking a week of the month to show just how much House Pride they have.
