The Fratellis

Anyone likey??

I quite like their sound. It's quite different to a lot of other bands, but I must admit I get a bit bored listening to them. Most of my friends love them. I do love Chelsea Dagger though...I always dance to that one when I hear it :rolleyes:

I really love the Fratellis...I think they're sound is really good & they've got a great mixture of songs! And Chelsea Dagger is my favourite song to hear in the pub at the moment...except no one seems to have heard of them down here in Australia...yet! Makes me want to go home so I can dance around with my friends listening to Chelsea Dagger!!!

I love them, Baby Fratelli is my favourite song along with Whistle For the Choir, I got to see them live at T in the Park this year :)

The more I hear of the Fratelli`s the more they irritate me. It`s never a good sign.

I can't help but sing along everytime I hear "Chelsea Dagger". :rockon:

I do like them a lot, but unfortunately they're not a band that I can constantly listen to. I listened to them a heck of a lot last year, but unlike others I'm not sure they've got the sticking power. I do feel sorry for them in a way though - "Chelsea Dagger" has become almost the only thing that most people know them for, and it must be discouraging for them to hear, as they're trying to play a live set, just the whole crowd constantly singing the "Chelsea Dagger" tune at them regardless of the song.

I've seen them live twice and they were good both times, but I'm hoping for some new material from them soon or I think I'll sadly lose interest. Having said that, they do have a different sound that's a lot of fun and pretty original, even if a lot of the new bands coming out now seem to be aiming for sounding like a cross between them and the Arctic Monkeys.

I like them. I didunt know who they were untill I saw them supporting Kasabian in concert. Then I decided to go out and get there album becuse they seemed so bouncy and happy. I love the fact that baby fratelli was the theme tune to Hot Fuzz.

"Whistle For the Choir" and "For the Girl" are two of my particular favourites. "Chelsea Dagger" is definitely a good song but it is just everywhere :lol:

They've got a new song out now apparently, but I'm still yet to hear it.

hmm... I do like them quite a lot... my fave song is 'cigarello' but chelsea dagger is a song that makes me sing a lot too.
However I'm not listening to them at the moment 'cause as soon as I get bored of a band I forget about them lol!

i have thier CD in my CD player (dur) and play it the whole way through loads! CHELSEA DAGGER!

Flathead, Baby Fratelli, and Chelsea Dagger are my favorites. The lead singer has such a drool worthy voice. :drool:

I bought their live DVD "The Fratellis: Edgy at Brixton." It wasn't very good, but then again, I never like live DVDs that much. They always completely block out the sound of the crowd and it takes you out of the concert experience.
