- CHAPTER ONE -
Dudley Dursley was born on June 23rd, 1980 and has been spoilt ever since. It's now his tenth birthday and he still complains about the amount of presents he should receive.

"Thirty-six," he said, looking directly at his parents. 'That's two less than last year!'
'But popkin, you haven't counted Auntie Marge's present,' Petunia replied after recovering from a slight flinch.
Vernon then spoke up. 'And we'll buy you three more presents when we go out today,' obviously sensing the look of danger his son was giving his wife. 'And we'll buy you a nice big o' ice-cream cone when we go to the zoo today.'
The black-haired, bespectacled boy who was tending to the bacon on the stove spoke up. 'Can I come too?'
'NO!', Dudley screamed when Harry had finished. 'I don't want him coming, he always ruins everything!' The boy had obviously chose the wrong time to explain this because at that moment the phone rang and Dudley's mother came back with a sullen look on her face.
'Bad news, Vernon. Mrs. Figg has broken her leg tripping over her cats. She can't take him.' Petunia jerked her head towards Harry. Dudley felt worse, his anger was rising more with his parents; first, not enough presents, now this! He didn't want Harry ruining his birthday.
'But, I don't want him to c-c-come!' He wailed, thinking that hopefully, his parents would agree. His mother than embraced him in a weird looking hug.
'Don't worry, diddykins, we'll find somewhere to leave him!' Petunia explained. Dudley shot Harry an evil grin between his mother's arms, unnoticed by both his parents.
'But I don't think there is anywhere to leave the boy.' Vernon whispered vigorously to his wife after she let go of Dudley. 'Unless Yvonne could take her?' Dudley was watching his parents very closely now trying to read their lips.
'She's on holiday in Majorca!' Petunia whispered back, then jumped when the doorbell rang. 'Oh Good Lord, they're here!' she said out loud, as she scurried off towards the door. A moment later, Dudley's best friend, Piers, walked in with a stupid grin on his face, followed by his mother.
Thirty minutes later, Dudley couldn't believe the bad luck he's had so far on this supposed-to-be-perfect day because his nasty, scrawny cousin was sitting with him in the back seat of his father's car on the way to the zoo. Just before that, he watched his father pull Harry away as Piers had clambered into the back seat.
'- any funny business from you, boy, and it'll be in that cupboard from now until Christmas,' he heard his father say, watching as Harry nodded his head in agreement. Hopefully Dudley could convince Piers to help him make his cousin do so he'd get plenty of punishment from Vernon. He thought that that wouldn't be hard because funny things often did happen to and around Harry. Once Dudley's mother had cut his cousin's hair down so much that he looked bald. After, of course, tormenting him for hours on end, he woke up the next morning in bewilderment, to see that all of Harry's hair had grown back over night. Dudley had thought he was wearing some sort of wig at first, but when he had tried to pull it off it stayed on. And this one time, Dudley and his gang had been chasing Harry as usual when, to Dudley's extreme surprise, Harry was sitting up on the chimney on top of the school. He had got to watch that punishment from the top on the stairs when his father was yelling at Harry through the cupboard. Dudley then zoned back into the conversation his parents were having. Motorbikes.
'.. roaring like maniacs, the young hoodlums.' Vernon said just as a motorbike flew by the car in the next lane. Then, to Dudley's surprise, Harry replied, 'I had a dream about a motorbike,' he said. 'It was flying.'
Dad nearly crashed into the car that was in front of us. The one thing Dudley's parents hated most, it was when Harry talked about anything acting the way that it shouldn't. He turned right around in his seat, purple-faced, and yelled, 'MOTORBIKES DON'T FLY!'
Dudley and Piers started snickering uncontrollably at this.
'I know that,' replied his cousin. 'It was just a dream.'
* * * * * *
Dudley had a really good morning, on the sunny Saturday at the zoo. His parents had bought himself and Piers large chocolate ice-creams at the entrance, and were then forced to buy Harry a small, cheap lemon ice lolly just because the smiling lady in the van had asked him what he would like. Dudley and Piers than snook off to go look at the dangerous animals while his parents talked to a couple who lived on Privet Drive. Him and his best friend looked at all the reptiles, like big snakes and other animals like gorillas, that were big and scary looking. Then he was disappointedly joined by his parents and Harry after lunch so they could all go into the reptile house. It was cool and dark in there, with small windows all along the walls. Behind all the glass were different types of lizards and snakes crawling along the insides of there little house-like bins. Dudley and his best friend wanted to go back to looking at all the huge, poisonous cobras and thick, man-crushing pythons. Piers quickly found the largest snake in the reptile house and called for Dudley to come watch, but when he got there the big snake was just laying there, fast asleep.
Dudley and Piers pressed their foreheads up against the glass, watching the sparkling green coils.
'Make it move,' he moaned to his father, who rapped hard on the glass at least five times until Dudley gave up. 'This is boring.' and he walked off to join his mother who was admiring the pretty red lizard across the room.
Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw his cousin move up in front of the glass and Dudley decided to watch him too see if he'd do anything funny so that he could get him in trouble. And then the snake rose its head so that it was level with Harry's. Dudley saw his cousin glance frankly around to obviously check if anyone was watching but gladly he didn't see him watching. The snake, to Dudley's udder surprise, jerked its head towards his father and then raise its eyes towards the ceiling. He couldn't believe his eyes, it was like Harry was communicating to the snake. His cousin murmured something and then the snake nodded its head vigorously. Wide-eyed, Dudley kept watching to see what else happened, listening intently now to hear what was being said.
'.. do you come from?' his cousin asked.
The snake jabbed its tail at the little, white sign that was on the side of the tank. It read Boa Constrictor, Brazil.
'Was it nice there?' Harry asked.
The snake jabbed its tail at the stupid sign again and Dudley read further. [i]This specimen was bred in the zoo.[i] and Harry replied, 'Oh, I see - so you've never been to Brazil?'
The snake shook its head vigorously and the yelling from a voice nearby woke Dudley from his trance and follow the voice to Piers, who was just down the hallways. 'DUDLEY! MR DURSLEY! COME AND LOOK AT THE SNAKE, YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT ITS DOING!'
Dudley moved as fast as his legs could carry him so that it looked like he hadn't been watching his cousin and said, 'out of the way, you,' and he pushed Harry aside. Then what happened next was not expected by Dudley at all - one second, he and Piers had had their faces really close to the glass, the next, the both had to leap out of the way, horrified. The front of the tanks glass had disappeared and the great snake was uncoiling itself very fast and slithering out onto the floor - everyone had started screaming and Dudley could barely make out what was being said, or rather hissed, when the snake had stopped beside Harry. He had thought the snake could talk so he stupidly tried to listen closely but only heard weird hissing noising and Harry gulping.
The zoo director had made his mother something to drink, probably tea, and was apologizing over and over again. He and Piers were gibbering loudly. By the time they were all back in the car and driving home, Dudley wanted to exaggerate so he could get Harry in even more trouble than he already was in.
'It almost bit my leg off, didn't it Piers?' he said, while his friend nodded in agreement.
'I swear it was trying to squeeze me to death,' Piers said, obviously catching on. 'And Harry was talking to it, weren't you, Harry?'
Dudley's father had made Piers quickly leave after some tea so that he could punish Harry for his bad behavior. All Dudley could here when his father approached his cousin was, 'Go - cupboard - stay - no meals,' before Vernon had collapsed into a kitchen chair while Petunia ran to get him something to drink.
When Dudley was finally told to go to bed around eleven o'clock, he made sure he stomped nice and loud up the stairs so that dust and spiders would fall onto Harry in the cupboard. As well as to make sure his parents knew how upset he was that he couldn't stay up longer. He went straight to the washroom so he could brush his teeth and hair before changing into his pajama's and laying in bed. He was smiling to himself as he fell asleep into dreams of him sending big snakes after his scrawny cousin.

I know that its not that long, but I'm pretty sure the next one will be pretty long. BTW, just so you guys know, this is Dudley Dursley's point of view of Harry's life. Just in case anyone was wondering why it's so alike the book,
Feedback is needed guys!
