The first one was on my computer, then it crashed and went bye bye, and then I did it all in one day to turn it in on time and then the computer people at my school took it away and gave me my original back, but it wasn't on there. Luckily he's giving me an NHI instead of an F right now, so he's giving me some time to work on it.... Again.... In case you want to know what a My Enlightenment Page is, it is a myspace page that I have to make for a Philosepher in the Enlightenment age if they had myspace. I now know a lot about Voltaire, :lol:. Though, I wish he had assigned me Nicolas Copernicus! :rotfl:.

The world had never felt so cold and empty before and never had words been able to make life feel as if it should be no more before now. She stared at the only man she loved, whom she thought loved her, before her blankly, but she knew that her cold hard stare would soon blind her with a fresh wave of hot tears.

“I,” she tried to speak but her voice had caught up with her all at once and she choked on the tears that hadn’t managed to come yet. “I don’t understand, Harry. Why?” Taking a deep breath she had finally said what had been on her mind the past fifteen minutes. Harry Potter looked uncomfortably around the room, which was very unlike him. Whenever he had something as important as this to be said he always looked her in the eyes.

“I can’t be with you anymore because of Voldemort, and you know that,” he said sadly. He didn’t mean it. He couldn’t mean it! Never once in their relationship these past three years had made Harry break her heart in two. He had been fighting Voldemort for years, what could possibly make him think that now was the time that he needed to blame him for their split? When she voiced this he had finally been able to look her in the eyes. She practically fell apart at his gaze and she knew that he was serious.

Her tears weren’t streaming down her face as she had expected but falling in gentle streams. “I’m only doing it to protect you, and you know that he’ll come after you. I’ve been thinking about the attack last week and figured he must have found out about you. I wouldn’t be doing it otherwise, I love you too much.” His hand caressed her face and wiped away a few of the fallen tears. A strand of her brown hair had fallen out of her ponytail and he moved it back behind her ear. It didn’t seem right.

Just a few minutes ago they had been in bed together, and once he had fallen asleep it was as if he had been in another one of his nightmares. When she woke him he decided to leave her. It was as if she was in her own nightmare and he wasn’t waking her up from it.

“You need to move on, Hermione. It wouldn’t be right for me to put your life in danger,” and with one quick kiss he left her without looking back. The tears that flooded her face were mixed with furry, love, and sadness. Collapsing onto the floor she laid there for hours until finally, she was taken away by the darkness of her sleep.

~*~*~Two months later~*~*~

Hermione looked into the over grown mirror and saw herself clad in white, with her bushy brown hair now tamed and sleekly wrapped in a tight bun at the top of her head. She heard the girls in the back of the room talking excitedly and pinning the extra lace to her dress by magic. It was to be the most magical moment of her life.

She knew that in just moments she would be walking down the aisle of a beautiful church and marry the man that had captured her heart. Has he really? She had asked herself this question so many times, and still the same answer had come up to her. It has only been two months. The girls did not stop giggling, but they had come up behind her and smiled at the adoring face that shined back in the mirror.


That is a little bitty bit of part one.
