Metallica

Seriously, dude why isn't there already a thread partaining to Metallica?This band rocks even if they haven't come out with anything new.I am satisfied listening to their old stuff over and over! If you agree with me say "I" !:lol:

I love Metallica! Especially the Black Album :D! I especially love the song Holier Than Thou, it fits some people that I know ;).

I :lol: i'm surprised there wasn't a thread already. I'm a big fan of the S&M album - rock with a background of classical instruments - it's great.

My favourite song by them though has to be the cover version they did of Whiskey In The Jar - I love it! It always makes me get up & jump around!!!

I just found the other Metallica (http://www.cosforums.com/showthread.php?t=109581) thread. It was in the grunge/metal/punk board.

For a bit there, I'd forgotten that there was another thread.

I have actually been listening to Metallica my entire life and honestly I pay no attention to song names and album names and I just started learning the names and now that I know the name Of Wolf and Man is one of my favorites!

im going to do a crowndsurf to metallica at reading, I have decided :P

I only know a couple of their songs like (obviously) Enter Sandman, Master Of Puppets, Fuel and One.

St.Anger = weak

The best guitar solo in the history of rock itself is in the song The Unforgiven.2nd best Enter Sandman.And so on.

I have been a fan for twelve years, ever since I was 11 years old. Metallica was my first love and while I am not liking their new material that much... the old Metallica makes me feel like I have come home from years of traveling.

I saw them live around 9 years ago. After that it has always been an issue withmoney. This year they are doing two gigs in Finland and I couldn't go to either of them. Man it hurts. But I saw them live when Jason was still playing.

The only Metallica song I've heard is "Enter Sandman," and I think it's awesome. :D I first heard it on Rock Band, and my brother would play it over and over. :lol: I probably won't look into Metallica, though...not sure if they're clean...probably not. :shrug:

Metallica is still one of my top two favorite bands, the other being Rammstein. After a flop of an album where they didn't have a real bassist in the studio (St. Anger) they return with a good if not great album in Death Magnetic. Saw them live over a month ago, and even though I was tired it was a great show.

I just saw some of their live stuff from the Wembley tribute to Freddie Mercury...they were amazing in that show

They shine while playing live.

^^ agreed. Metallica rocks. I just wish I could affored to go into one of their concerts. *sigh*

I just saw them live the day before yesterday. They did 6 songs of the new album Death Magnetic. It was great. Love the album, love the band. It was my third metallica concert.

Would love to see them in concert someday! :)
