I thought they didn't go to diagon alley in GoF though - Mrs. Weasley got their things while they were at the quidditch world cup

If this question means to name one thing that happens in every book in Diagon Alley, I'd say Molly takes her child/children to buy schoolbooks. If it means a separate thing that we see happen in each book, see below.

1-Harry buys his school books with Hagrid and meets Draco for the first time
2-Lucius Malfoy slips the Diary of Tom Riddle into Ginny's cauldron with her books
3-Harry stays overnight at the Leaky Cauldron after blowing up Aunt Marge & running away from home
4-The Weasleys & Harry & Hermione's parents have ice cream at Florean Fortesque's Ice Cream shop
5-Molly takes the children to get their books after Harry is exonerated for his Patronus charm
6-Harry sneaks off to spy on Draco at Borgin & Burke's.
7-The bank robery in Gringotts and escape on the dragon

SS - Harry meets Griphook, goes to vault 713 - in GRINGOTTS. Buys all his school supplies
CoS - Meets Weasleys at Gringotts after being escorted away from Knockturn Alley by Hagrid
PoA - Hermione buys Crookshanks (Ron almost gets scalped).
GoF - Mrs. Weasley buys Ron's and Harry's dress robes.
OotP - Mrs. Weasley buys Ron's new broomstick
HBP - Florean Fortescue is booted out; Ollivander is kidnapped (venders appear on the sides of the streets), Weasleys Wizard Wheezes.
DH - Rita Skeeter's book is sold in Diagon Alley's book store, Flourish and Blotts

In each other seven books, Harry sees Draco Malfoy in Diagon Alley.

1. Harry meets Draco Malfoy for the first time and receives Hedwig
2. Harry missdirects when using Floo powder, lands in Knockturn Alley and Hermione fixes his glasses in Diagon Alley
3. Harry has icecreams at Florian Fortescue
4. no visit but I am sure we can imagine a stressed Molly running through the alley
5. No visit again.
6. Harry and co visit Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes
7. Trio notices how much Diagon Alley has changed, it's full "beggars" and Hermione/Bellatrix struts through the street.

1. Harry buys his wand
2. Lockhart is introduced at Flourish and Blotts
3. Hermione buys Crookshanks
4. No one goes to Diagon Alley because they're at the World Cup
5. Buy the new DADA textbook
6. Harry & co. track Malfoy to Knockturn Alley

1) Harry buys school supplies
2) Harry gets lost and watches Draco and his father buy dubious items.
3) Harry see the firebolt for the first time.

7) Ginny's supplies are probably bought in the diagon alley that year.

I'm confused. Do you mean as in:

5. Molly Weasley bought their books and supplies.
6. Harry, Ron and Hermione met Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes in all it's glory
7. Harry, Ron and Hermione snuck into Gringott's

Or...something that happened in every book? Either school books were purchased (though Molly did that twice), but I don't know if Hermione bought any books in DH.
