Harry Finds Fandomhermy_weasley2 May 8th, 2008, 12:01 am What would Harry do/say if he could find the books? The films? The games?....Us? :eeep: Klio May 27th, 2008, 6:38 pm Will we have a chance to get answers from Harry in here? After the coments he made in the other thread it is fun to imagine..... I guess wizards have always recognised him.... what's it like now that muggles also might look at his scar and then.... jaw drops.... :err:  "you are.... Harry Potter!" So, Harry.... have you been recognised by random muggles anywhere? and wondered why? vivekgk May 27th, 2008, 6:57 pm "ZOMG Isn't that Dan Radcliffe? Eeeeeeee!!" I wonder what it'd be like if Ron and George bought him and Ginny tickets for this "really good muggle play called 'Equus', mate" as their anniversary present. Klio May 27th, 2008, 7:48 pm LOL.... I guess we first have to establish whether Harry looks anything like Daniel Radcliffe (except the difference in eye colour, obviously) ... :D Who knows? But some clued up muggles may well be able to spot a dark-haired, green-eyed man with a lightning shaped scar on his forehead.... at least if he isn't careful with combing his hair over it ;) Of course, the fact that muggles think of a teenager when they think of Harry while Harry would now be in his late twenties - that would obviously help, I suppose :D So, Harry.... have you been stopped in the street by random muggles? Enquiring minds want to know! :D Harry Potter May 27th, 2008, 10:25 pm LOL.... Enquiring minds want to know! :D It has been an interesting 10 years since the final battle. Sometimes I think it was easier to hide in the woods. Most Muggles don't recognize me unless they have a wizard connection. I don't exactly look like Dan Radcliffe. I'm taller and older for one thing. I still get people staring at my forehead. Luckily, most of the notoriety is fading. There were a lot of stories in the Muggle equivalent of the Quibbler about the fog and gloom from the dementors. They blamed it on aliens. Klio May 27th, 2008, 10:42 pm You know, it was a little gloomy in those days,... but as far as I can remember, people mostly blamed the gloom on the government..... ;) The Muggle Prime Minster was definitely right to be worried..... Good to hear that you are taller than Daniel Radcliffe! :tu: That is definitely a bonus.. .. ;) :) So, were you surprised when you found out that the muggles all knew about your story? When did you find out, and how? The Harry Potter craze (sorry, that's what it is!!) among muggles world wide is pretty obvious, so i am assuming that at some point even some wizards must have noticed.... :) Harry Potter May 27th, 2008, 10:49 pm Good to hear that you are taller than Daniel Radcliffe! :tu: That is definitely a bonus.. .. ;) :) Yeah, well, he is pretty short. So, were you surprised when you found out that the muggles all knew about your story? When did you find out, and how? The Harry Potter craze (sorry, that's what it is!!) among muggles world wide is pretty obvious, so i am assuming that at some point even some wizards must have noticed.... :) There were a lot of people in the Great Hall that day, so the story pretty much spread like crazy. Most of the Muggles thought it was just some sort of crazy make-believe thing, though. Klio May 27th, 2008, 10:54 pm Yeah, well, he is pretty short. True! :D There were a lot of people in the Great Hall that day, so the story pretty much spread like crazy. Most of the Muggles thought it was just some sort of crazy make-believe thing, though. They still do, obviously. I mean, who'd believe those of us who know better, even if we are muggles? ;) :D I am sure Kingsley has something to do with it ;) :D Yeah, I know, you probably won't comment. But I am guessing anyway. :D Pearl_Took May 28th, 2008, 12:35 pm There doesn't appear to be an 'Applications to be Mrs Harry Potter' thread. :p (Sorry, Harry. I'm not THAT scary. You are a happily married man! ) Re: Daniel Radcliffe, I enjoy his impersonation of you. :) His hair is a little too smooth though ... I rather miss the 'untidy hair' which you inherited from your dad! ;) LikeLuna May 28th, 2008, 10:25 pm His hair is a little too smooth though ... I rather miss the 'untidy hair' which you inherited from your dad! ;) I do too! Oh, and I love you Harry! :D Pearl_Took May 29th, 2008, 2:37 pm AND I LOVE YOU AS WELL, HARRY!!!!!!:love::love::love::love::love: P.S. This thread needs bumping! :) The_Green_Woods June 6th, 2008, 7:39 am Harry do you know JKR? Is she one of you or one of us? :) Beatifically June 9th, 2008, 9:34 pm Harry, have you ever watched Potter Puppet Pals? Snape, Snape, Severus Snape. . . . Harry Potter June 9th, 2008, 10:32 pm Harry do you know JKR? Is she one of you or one of us? :) I have heard about this person you call JKR. Isn't she some sort of writer? I've lost track of all the books that have been written about me. Just don't believe everything you read. Harry, have you ever watched Potter Puppet Pals? Snape, Snape, Severus Snape. . . . No, I can't say that I'm familiar with them. I try to avoid fandom. Pearl_Took June 10th, 2008, 2:37 pm No, I can't say that I'm familiar with them. I try to avoid fandom. You do? :( Oh, Harry! :upset: Well, it can be a rather crazy place. :D So I can't say I blame you. ;) P.S. Potter Puppet Pals is hilarious. I love how the Snape puppet is usually a voice of reason in a sea of anarchy. The Ron puppet makes me die laughing. And the Harry puppet is so evil! :wow: :rotfl: It's all good fun, Harry, nothing to worry about! :) Beatifically June 10th, 2008, 6:03 pm I have heard about this person you call JKR. Isn't she some sort of writer? I've lost track of all the books that have been written about me. Just don't believe everything you read. But J.K. Rowling is of more valuable resources than the others. We know your thoughts, Harry James Potter! :elaugh: For instance: She's Ron's sister. But she's ditched Dean! She's still Ron's sister. I'm his best mate! That'll make it worse. If I talked to him first- He'd hit you. What if I don't care? He's your best mate! No, I can't say that I'm familiar with them. I try to avoid fandom. . . . You haven't watched Potter Puppet Pals?!?!?!3efydsvfisfy?!! Tx1XIm6q4r4  Harry Potter June 10th, 2008, 7:56 pm Okay, I admit I hadn't seen Potter Puppet Pals, but curiousity forced me to check it out. It is very funny. It doesn't look as if I am the star., a very good thing indeed. hplova15165 June 10th, 2008, 8:09 pm P.S. Potter Puppet Pals is hilarious. I wouldn't consider it fandom... the Potter Puppet Pals, (IMO), is the fine line between fandom and mockery. Not either, but right in between. Okay, I admit I hadn't seen Potter Puppet Pals, but curiousity forced me to check it out. It is very funny. It doesn't look as if I am the star., a very good thing indeed. Yayyy! I love the Potter Puppet Pals - they're hilarious! You don't like to be looked at as a star? Well, I guess that's understandable.... BTW, I love you too. (Not to creep you out or anything, or to get Ginny mad at me, that wouldn't be too great... I heard about those Bat-Bogey Hexes...) His hair is a little too smooth though ... I rather miss the 'untidy hair' which you inherited from your dad! ;) Yes! The hair that sticks out in every direction... Radcliffe just doesn't have it. The hair that sticks out in every direction... Radcliffe just doesn't have it. He does a pretty good job though. :) Impersonating Harry. P.S. By the way, Harry, your dad makes me laugh. "Elvendork." Harry Potter June 12th, 2008, 9:24 pm Harry! :wow: You watched Potter Puppet Pals! I love you. (Er, in a strictly fandom sort of way, of course. ) You are SUCH a good sport. :tu: P.S. By the way, Harry, your dad makes me laugh. "Elvendork." Thanks. I'll have to look at the others someday. I saw that story about my dad and Sirius in the Muggle news. The papers come to the Auror office, you know. Anyway, it was so good to see something like that about them. The people who knew them best have all passed on. A few of the Pensieve memories were not exactly endearing, either. But I like the way Sirius and my dad seem so alive, and funny too. Arthur Weasley has put that motorbike together you know. I don't think that anyone has ever flown it as fast as Sirius did. hplova15165 June 18th, 2008, 8:49 pm I saw that story about my dad and Sirius in the Muggle news. I don't think that anyone has ever flown it as fast as Sirius did. Yeah, I think your parents deserve a series to themselves. It's stories like the prequel that make me want to know even more about them! It's too bad Jo's not writing one :( . I guess we'll never know what all happened... *sighs* Unless you have some stories about them to tell... were there any memories from the Penseive that we haven't heard/haven't been mentioned in the book? ignisia July 9th, 2008, 9:08 pm Okay, I admit I hadn't seen Potter Puppet Pals, but curiousity forced me to check it out. It is very funny. It doesn't look as if I am the star., a very good thing indeed.  I totally get that! You always did need some peace and quiet... You are the star of other Potter Puppet Pal videos, I'm glad to say, if a little unlike your canon self :eyebrows: Puppet!Harry got an overdose of James-genes! :rotfl: vzpD6OogahQ Sorry about that one, Harry. We know you're way more awesome than that. ;) Iceblade July 10th, 2008, 4:30 am Wow, nice Sax playing Harry...listen to it sped up though...its actually funnier Nothing beats Wizard Swears though in sheer hilarity...I am hiccuping right now because of it....note if you do watch it Harry don't take any offense (its all in good fun). ignisia July 10th, 2008, 3:02 pm The Neville-abuse in "Wizard Swears" really takes away a lot of the humor, though. :sigh: I know it's a joke, but it still bugs me...
