Nadia May 15th, 2008, 5:23 am Have you ever wondered what was Harry's favourite colour? Maybe you wanted to know about his favourite brand of tooth paste? Do you lay awake at night wondering if he likes his Coke with ice? Well, then this is the thread for you!
Just ask Harry Potter whatever you want to know, and he'll get back at you!
Now I'll leave you all on his hands; ask away!
Ron Weasley May 27th, 2008, 8:23 pm Hey Harry, did you get those tickets to the Quidditch World Cup? Top Box right?
Hermione Granger May 27th, 2008, 8:55 pm Hey Harry, did you get those tickets to the Quidditch World Cup? Top Box right?
And when were you planning to tell me about this? Forgot to tell me, didn't you?
firefly20angel May 27th, 2008, 8:56 pm Hey Harry, did you get those tickets to the Quidditch World Cup? Top Box right?
Hello Ron, nice to see you here. :D Oh, there's a Quidditch World Cup coming up soon? Who's playing?
And oh Harry! As this is obviously the ask Harry section, I was wondering what kind of things you do in your spare time nowadays? Is it difficult to find the time at all, I mean as head of the Auror department and everything, not to mention all the press that you must get for being 'the Harry Potter'....
And say hi to Teddy for me :p
Liselle May 27th, 2008, 9:05 pm Harry did you ever consider getting that Dragon tattoo?
BurrowGhoul May 27th, 2008, 10:18 pm Hey Harry, did you get those tickets to the Quidditch World Cup? Top Box right?
That's a good question-- does Harry get Top Box for life as the Wizard Who Defeated Voldemort? (with a little help from his friends, of course)
Harry Potter May 27th, 2008, 10:32 pm Hey Harry, did you get those tickets to the Quidditch World Cup? Top Box right? Sure, Ron. It was easy.
And when were you planning to tell me about this? Forgot to tell me, didn't you? Hi, Hermione.
Hello Ron, nice to see you here. :D Oh, there's a Quidditch World Cup coming up soon? Who's playing? We are getting tickets ahead of time. The Cup isn't until August.

And say hi to Teddy for me :p I've gotten better at Wizard chess, although Ron can still beat me. I still like to play Quidditch. We can always find lots of people for a game when we gather at The Burrow.
Harry did you ever consider getting that Dragon tattoo? Ask Ginny. She seems to the one who knows.
That's a good question-- does Harry get Top Box for life as the Wizard Who Defeated Voldemort? (with a little help from his friends, of course) Did Dumbledore get seats for life when he defeated Grindelwald? See, there are no guarantees. But I do have a lot of connections.
leah49 May 27th, 2008, 10:40 pm When Ginny was playing Quidditch professionally were you nervous during the matches? Did you attend all her matches or did work interfere?
Harry Potter May 27th, 2008, 10:51 pm When Ginny was playing Quidditch professionally were you nervous during the matches? Did you attend all her matches or did work interfere?I tried to see as many games as I could. I love watching her play. She got her fair share of injuries, but nothing the medi-wizards couldn't fix up.
firefly20angel May 28th, 2008, 12:02 am We are getting tickets ahead of time. The Cup isn't until August.
Well, that makes sense. But you didn't answer what teams were playing?
I've gotten better at Wizard chess, although Ron can still beat me. I still like to play Quidditch. We can always find lots of people for a game when we gather at The Burrow.
Well, it's great to know that you are having fun  Just on a side note, has anyone actually been able to beat Ron at chess? And that's great about Quidditch, I bet you're still a fantastic seeker!
Ask Ginny. She seems to be the one who knows.
This made me crack up! It's great to know you and Ginny are still...close ;)
Beatifically May 28th, 2008, 12:04 am Harry, if you had the chance to rectify a mistake, which one would it be?
Hanover_Fist May 28th, 2008, 1:37 am Have you heard from your kids since they left for Hogwarts? Where did Albus get sorted?
DeathlyH May 28th, 2008, 1:40 am Harry, you say you like Snape and all but you really don't underneath, right?
firefly20angel May 28th, 2008, 1:55 am Have you heard from your kids since they left for Hogwarts? Where did Albus get sorted?
Albus is three right now so I doubt he's been sorted. :p
Lucybird May 28th, 2008, 5:54 pm Do the kids like Quidditch and/or play too?
PureBloodGirl May 28th, 2008, 9:00 pm Why didn't you start dating Hermione or marry her instead of Ginny? It always seemed to me like you and Hermione would start dating. I think you two would have been the perfect couple.
wickedwickedboy May 29th, 2008, 6:43 pm So since you are talking to us from the year 2018, I was wondering, can you be a champ and give me a heads up on how this Laker/Spurs series is gonna come out? I have a lot riding on it...
LumosPatronus May 29th, 2008, 7:42 pm Have you ever tried BROCOLI flavoured Ice-cream?
I hate it, it sucks.
Klio May 29th, 2008, 7:59 pm So since you are talking to us from the year 2018, I was wondering, can you be a champ and give me a heads up on how this Laker/Spurs series is gonna come out? I have a lot riding on it...
wwb, I don't think he IS talking from 2018.... I think both Harry and Ginny have now made clear thaqt the kids are still little. Try Draco - he has been talking about Scorpius at school, so he seems to be coming back from 2018 ;)

Argh, it's so confusing, isn't it?
Klio May 29th, 2008, 8:20 pm Argh, it's so confusing, isn't it?
Yes.... it is.... :D And I am sure we muggles aren't the only ones confused by it ;) :D
Voldemorts8thHorcrux May 30th, 2008, 1:13 am What do you think of my username :p?
leah49 May 30th, 2008, 4:55 am Harry, I did read your thread in the Wizengamot Administration Services, though I missed a ton of posts, so you might have already explained this. I hope you don't mind doing it again. How did you gain access to a computer and the internet? Are you using Dudley's computer or what?
Harry Potter May 30th, 2008, 5:39 pm What do you think of my username :p?
To be perfectly honest, I think it's a bit disturbing...
Harry, I did read your thread in the Wizengamot Administration Services, though I missed a ton of posts, so you might have already explained this. I hope you don't mind doing it again. How did you gain access to a computer and the internet? Are you using Dudley's computer or what?
I've always knew of the existance of computers; Dudley had one when I was living with them. So a few months ago, I decided to buy one for myself; I heard they can be useful for the kids...
guad May 30th, 2008, 5:53 pm Hey Harry!
Speaking of Duddikins, are you still in contact? How do you get along?
nymphadora_nat May 30th, 2008, 6:19 pm Why didn't you start dating Hermione or marry her instead of Ginny? It always seemed to me like you and Hermione would start dating. I think you two would have been the perfect couple.
i thought of this too, but it's before of harry's fifth year...
i was still hoping then that hermione and harry would end up together...
(i thought they liked each other haha, i was clueless then, of what would happen next about their lives)
:err:
i'll stop to that, ginny might curse me...
but i like ginny too...
and i'm so happy for them...
Harry Potter May 30th, 2008, 10:13 pm Hey Harry!
Speaking of Duddikins, are you still in contact? How do you get along?
We send each other Christmas cards. I make sure mine arrive via owl. :D
Rayven May 30th, 2008, 10:53 pm Is young Diddykins married yet??
leah49 May 31st, 2008, 4:35 am I know being an Auror was your dream (well, something you wanted since fifth year), but do you sometimes wish you had played professional Quidditch? I'm sure you could have made a team based on your talent. Did any teams try to recruit you?
LumosPatronus May 31st, 2008, 11:36 am did you die?
Luka13 May 31st, 2008, 1:31 pm I've been meaning to ask you; how've you been getting along good old chap ol' Harry?
And also, were you ever attracted to Hermione?

Of course I would have liked to play Quidditch professionally but the Magical world needed me more as an Auror. I still follow it actively of course and tried to see Ginny's matches as much as possible when she was still active.
did you die?
No I am still alive :D
I've been meaning to ask you; how've you been getting along good old chap ol' Harry?
And also, were you ever attracted to Hermione?
I have been great, thank you!
No, she was always like a sister to me and a great friend, nothing more :)
Voldemorts8thHorcrux June 1st, 2008, 4:29 pm how much do you think your magical power has grown over the years?
Klio June 1st, 2008, 4:42 pm We send each other Christmas cards. I make sure mine arrive via owl. :D

LumosPatronus June 2nd, 2008, 10:01 pm Hey Harry, could you tell us how you proposed to Ginny? It's all right if you can't but I'm sure everyone would like to know :)
Yeah because we're all in  and going to marry someone. I'm going to marry a frog who was a frog, but now she's a Hinkipunk. (sorry - It had to be said)
Do you ever shave your head?
speedy June 2nd, 2008, 10:09 pm alrigt harry have you ever been asked to be a guest lecturer at hogwarts?
and who does teddy take after remus or tonks?
hplova15165 June 3rd, 2008, 3:38 am So you have a computer, as mentioned earlier... Do you have any other Muggle items to entertain the kids? I know little Duddikins had a telivision, so did you ever buy a telivision for your kids? Or maybe even an iPod?
Harry Potter June 3rd, 2008, 5:09 pm Wow, you guys ask as many questions as Rita does. :lol:how much do you think your magical power has grown over the years? I think my power has grown with my experience. I've learned more spells; it comes with the job. I've always liked my wand and it seems to work really well for me. But I think that there have been plenty of wizards who were more powerful than I am. Dumbledore was one of them.
Hey Harry, do you still wear those glasses or did you use a spell to improve your eyesight?Harry Potter without his glasses - unthinkable.
Hey Harry, could you tell us how you proposed to Ginny? It's all right if you can't but I'm sure everyone would like to know :) Let's see. First there were about a million questions from the Weasleys about when I was going to ask her. Then they kept giving hints about what to say to her. Let’s see. There was Fleur who dropped a million hints and kept asking me when I was going to ask her. There was Percy with his outline and his lists of statistics and comparisons of places to go with the best value. Charlie said something like “I know she’s my sister, but are you sure you want to get married.” George had some very interesting advice along with some gag items from his shop. He thought a little humor belonged in every proposal. There was the disappearing ring. The roses that turned into love birds. I don’t even want to think about what was in those love potions. Molly just kept making wedding plans and cleaning things, just in case. Arthur was torn between being worried about his only daughter getting involved with a dangerous guy like me  and wanting a son-in-law who could answer all his questions about Muggles.
Well, with all those people watching my every move, it was hard to find the right time and place to ask. But, finally, when it was least expected, I took Ginny off to a quiet, romantic place and asked her to marry me. And that is all I will tell you.
How many of your schoolfriends have you kept in touch with, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, and Neville aside? Well, I've tried to keep in touch with as many of them as possible. Some of them really did a lot for me. But you know how it goes once you have a job and family, all of that gets pushed aside a little.
How does Dudley feel about you delivering the card by owl? Dudley doesn't mind too much, but his wife hates it.
Do you ever shave your head? No. If I did that, my scar would be even more prominant than it is now.
alrigt harry have you ever been asked to be a guest lecturer at hogwarts? Not yet. Hogwarts never had guest lecturers when I was at school, so I would think they would continue the tradition. I am really glad that the Defense against the Dark Arts curse has ended. I would hate to be asked to teach there.
and who does teddy take after remus or tonks? Teddy is an metamorphus, so he can look like whoever he wants. But he just looks like Teddy to me.
So you have a computer, as mentioned earlier... Do you have any other Muggle items to entertain the kids? I know little Duddikins had a telivision, so did you ever buy a telivision for your kids? Or maybe even an iPod?It is hard enough trying to keep the statute of secrecy when I have a computer. It is better not to bring all that other stuff into a wizard family. The kids can get into it once they are grown, if they choose to.

So.... how do you feel about having married a whole big (and very close-knit!) family as well when you married Ginny?
Is Molly still as protective as she was when you were at school? :)
firefly20angel June 3rd, 2008, 9:07 pm Harry Potter without his glasses - unthinkable.
Speaking of which, glasses seem to run in the Potter family, I know Lily is too young for glasses as she's just a newborn and perhaps Al and James are too young as well, but do you think any of your kids show signs of that Potter gene?

Awww! I love the Weasley family! And this sounds just like what they would do, about the Weasley brothers; this could show how their own engagements (or lack thereof, in our resident dragon-keeping bachelor's case) went.
And Fleur was acting like any other romance loving female would have. (I think I would have been like "ehhh, just do it." And I think I broke my sides while reading about Molly and Arthur...

nymphadora_nat June 4th, 2008, 6:41 pm hello harry, do you have any idea about the whereabouts of the mirror of erised?
do you want to see your reflection again in the mirror?

Hanover_Fist June 5th, 2008, 2:40 am Since becoming an Auror, what was the most dangerous or difficult task you have had? Have any of the Dark Wizards you were tasked with stopping been as dangerous as Voldemort? Did they all have similar goals (i.e. pure-blood dominance), or what types of rationales for their actions did they give?
Is the Head of the Auror Department more of a desk job? If so, do you miss being out in the field?
Pearl_Took June 5th, 2008, 12:22 pm Dudley has a wife? Does he have any children?
I always imagine that Dudley got married. :) In one of my fics (not yet finished) I gave him a wife called Sharon.
Perhaps Harry can enlighten us further on Dudley's family. :)
By the way, Harry, you rock.
(My avatar is a bit of a giveaway, I know. )
Klio June 5th, 2008, 6:35 pm Looks like Harry is a little too busy to post here all that often...

Should we be worried, Harry?
Harry Potter June 5th, 2008, 7:26 pm hows hagrids little brother
Hagrid and Grawp are doing great :)
how long after you defeated voldemort did you go into auror training?
Well, first I (we, in fact) came back to Hogwarts for our Newts, and then I had some time off, while I decided what I wanted to do with my life.
hello harry, do you have any idea about the whereabouts of the mirror of erised?
do you want to see your reflection again in the mirror?
will you allow the kids to use it, too?
No, I don't know where it is, and I think it's better off that way... As Dumbledore told me once, it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.
When you first met Ginny did you think you'd ever end up married to her?
I was a young lad when I met her, she was just Ron's sister at that time... Of course, my feelings towards her changed with time :)

Everything under control, don't worry. :) It's just that sometimes it's hard having a family, a job, and finding time to come here every day :)
nymphadora_nat June 5th, 2008, 7:41 pm Hagrid and Grawp are doing great :)
hagrid's still hogwarts gamekeeper? how about grawp, where is he staying now?
Well, first I (we, in fact) came back to Hogwarts for our Newts, and then I had some time off, while I decided what I wanted to do with my life.
you've really chosen to be an auror, great for you...you deserve the job...
did someone inspired you to become an auror or totally you just wanted to catch dark wizards aside from voldemort?
No, I don't know where it is, and I think it's better off that way... As Dumbledore told me once, it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.
yeah, quite true...
I was a young lad when I met her, she was just Ron's sister at that time... Of course, my feelings towards her changed with time :)

(My avatar is a bit of a giveaway, I know. )
I always like to imagine descendants of Dudley to end up with magic...there is magic in their veins somewhere. I think there's no such thing as purebloods or muggleborns. Your parents and grandparents may not have been magical but that doesn't mean that they don't have magical dna somewhere...Petunia and Lily were sisters and only one of them became a witch so what? How are muggleborn children magical? Conundrum...
Hagrid and Grawp are doing great :)
That's good. I'm sure that when the children are old enough for Hogwarts, they'll be visiting Hagrid all the time for tea. :relax:
Well, first I (we, in fact) came back to Hogwarts for our Newts, and then I had some time off, while I decided what I wanted to do with my life.
Wait, what? Both JK Rowling and Hermione in her thread have said that only one of the trio went back for NEWTS and that was Hermione...and that you and Ron became Aurors when Kingsley recruited some of the war veterans to help clean up the post-war mess?
No, I don't know where it is, and I think it's better off that way... As Dumbledore told me once, it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.
You've really become wiser, Harry!
I was a young lad when I met her, she was just Ron's sister at that time... Of course, my feelings towards her changed with time :)
We can all thank your dancing, roaring purring monster for that Harry, aw, I miss the chest monster.
As an Auror, I've faced all sorts of tasks... Unfortunately, it is all classified information!
It's all right, you don't have to tell us! We're just glad that you have a nice life with a dash of adventure yet not an overdose, if that made sense.
Everything under control, don't worry. :) It's just that sometimes it's hard having a family, a job, and finding time to come here every day :)
Well, as long as you find the time for us, we're happy!
I'm sure the kids are too young now but are you and how are you planning to tell them about well, everything?
Klio June 5th, 2008, 8:54 pm Well, first I (we, in fact) came back to Hogwarts for our Newts, and then I had some time off, while I decided what I wanted to do with my life.
Yikes! Looks like J.K. Rowling was wrong about that one.
She suggested that Ron and you never got your NEWTs because Kingsley needed you in the ministry. Ah well. :) Good to hear that you actually had some time to wind down after the struggle.
Although I imagine being back at school after being a fugitive for a year and defeating Voldemort must have been quite an odd experience....
No, I don't know where it is, and I think it's better off that way... As Dumbledore told me once, it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.
I am sure you are right about the Mirror of Erised. But we muggles who like your story sometimes ask other fans what they think they'd see in the Mirror of Erised. What would you see now?
Everything under control, don't worry. :) It's just that sometimes it's hard having a family, a job, and finding time to come here every day :)
Phew!! :) At least now we muggles know who we can thank for keeping us safe. :)
BurrowGhoul June 5th, 2008, 9:17 pm Harry, why did you decide to become an auror? I would have thought you'd already had enough dark wizard hunting to last a lifetime. When you were young, Hogwarts was the place that felt most like home to you, so I always imagined you'd be happiest as a teacher. I guess, once you found Ginny, you found other places to be at home.
How long did it take to repair all of the damage to Hogwarts? Were you able to help out with that effort at all?
PureBloodGirl June 5th, 2008, 10:59 pm Harry, where are you living now with Ginny and the kids? Have you moved into Grimmauld place, fixed up your parent's old house, or just bought a house (if that's what wizards do)?
The_Green_Woods June 6th, 2008, 7:31 am Which House was Albus Severus sorted into, can you tell us Harry? Slytherin, hopefully.
Klio June 6th, 2008, 9:47 am The green Woods.... I think Al is about one year old at the moment, so I am sure Harry will be wondering about this (together with us) in 2019, when the Prologue takes place.... ;)
leah49 June 6th, 2008, 5:47 pm How's Teddy? Has he been on the internet? How often do you see him?
The_Green_Woods June 6th, 2008, 6:49 pm The green Woods.... I think Al is about one year old at the moment, so I am sure Harry will be wondering about this (together with us) in 2019, when the Prologue takes place.... ;)
Oh! Can't we have Harry swing between the years? That'll be so much fun! :D
leah49 June 6th, 2008, 6:51 pm Oh! Can't we have Harry swing between the years? That'll be so much fun! :DTime Travel!Harry? As I recall, they destroyed all the time turners.
The_Green_Woods June 6th, 2008, 6:57 pm No, no! :) I meant that could we not ask Harry everything? From Book1 to the Epilogue and then some more. :D
firefly20angel June 6th, 2008, 8:42 pm No, no! :) I meant that could we not ask Harry everything? From Book1 to the Epilogue and then some more. :D
Don't think so. The Harry we're talking to is from the year 2008. And we know that Harry's neither a seer or a time-turner owner so I doubt he can answer questions like what house Al was in. Lily was just born this year; Al is two and James would be no less than three years old but we aren't sure how much older he is than Al....hey Harry, how old is James?! All we know is that he's old enough for a toy broomstick! According to Ginny, that is!
Beatifically June 6th, 2008, 11:29 pm Hi Harry! You haven't said anything to me before. :upset:
Is there anything about the Muggle word you think the Wizarding World should have?
Harry Potter June 7th, 2008, 1:57 am Hi Harry! You haven't said anything to me before. :upset: What do you mean? I got your Owls and I sent a couple to you. I wonder if someone is tampering with the Owls again.
Is there anything about the Muggle word you think the Wizarding World should have? There are a lot of things about the Muggle World that I don't miss, like traffic jams. I think that telephones are one thing that wizards miss. Owls are slow and sticking your head in someone's fireplace can be a little unnerving. What do think wizards should have from the Muggle world?
hagrid's still hogwarts gamekeeper? how about grawp, where is he staying now? Hagrid is still the gamekeeper. He won't retire too soon. No one could take care of those "interestin" creatures the way he could. I am not sure where Grawp is. He may have found himself a giant wife somewhere.
you've really chosen to be an auror, great for you...you deserve the job...
did someone inspired you to become an auror or totally you just wanted to catch dark wizards aside from voldemort? I've wanted to be an auror since my fifth year. I think it goes with my "saving-people" personality. I enjoy it, too.
what kind of dark wizards were still out in the wizarding world? There are those who long for the old days, when they were in control. We have to make sure that they don't regroup to start another war. And then there are your regular bad guys. There have always been people who are more interested in breaking rules than keeping them. You know, normal law-keepiing type work.
How are you harry? I'm great. :tu: How are you?
I always like to imagine descendants of Dudley to end up with magic...there is magic in their veins somewhere. I think there's no such thing as purebloods or muggleborns. Your parents and grandparents may not have been magical but that doesn't mean that they don't have magical dna somewhere...Petunia and Lily were sisters and only one of them became a witch so what? How are muggleborn children magical? Conundrum... So far, none of Dudley's children seem to show any magical ability. I think poor Aunt Petunia would freak out if one of her precious grandchildren ended up at Hogwarts. She would probably stop spoiling them with treats and presents and just pretend they didn't exist.
Wait, what? Both JK Rowling and Hermione in her thread have said that only one of the trio went back for NEWTS and that was Hermione...and that you and Ron became Aurors when Kingsley recruited some of the war veterans to help clean up the post-war mess? Well, I went back to get my honorary Newts. I had learned a lot in the year the Ron, Hermione and I were looking for the horcruxes. Kingsley wanted us to join the Aurors right away. Some of the stuffy Old Minitry officials were upset that we were breaking the rules, so I got some honorary Newts to help placate them.
We can all thank your dancing, roaring purring monster for that Harry, aw, I miss the chest monster. Well, there have been a few times., nevermind.
I'm sure the kids are too young now but are you and how are you planning to tell them about well, everything? Ginny and I will tell them things as they get old enough to handle it. I won't tell them everything, though. They need to be prepared for the Wizard world and all the stories that are out there. I remember how it felt to find out that I was famous. I don't want the kids to be as clueless as I was.
Yikes! Looks like J.K. Rowling was wrong about that one.
She suggested that Ron and you never got your NEWTs because Kingsley needed you in the ministry. Ah well. :) Good to hear that you actually had some time to wind down after the struggle. There was very little time to wind down. Everyone seemed to want something. It was really hard to get back to normal again, or as close to normal as could be after all that had gone on. It felt good to not have someone trying to kill me.
I am sure you are right about the Mirror of Erised. But we muggles who like your story sometimes ask other fans what they think they'd see in the Mirror of Erised. What would you see now? I have't seen the Mirror of Erised since my first year, but I imagine I would still see my family, but this time it would include Sirius and Lupin and maybe my current family, too. It would be a huge group, I think.
Harry, why did you decide to become an auror? I would have thought you'd already had enough dark wizard hunting to last a lifetime. When you were young, Hogwarts was the place that felt most like home to you, so I always imagined you'd be happiest as a teacher. I guess, once you found Ginny, you found other places to be at home.
How long did it take to repair all of the damage to Hogwarts? Were you able to help out with that effort at all?Evil can never be conquered. The best we can do is just try to keep it under control. That was something Dumbledore said, and it's true.
I never really wanted to be a teacher. i enjoyed teaching the defensive spells when we had our Dumnbledore's Army meetings, but I never wanted that to be my career.
Everyone in the Wizard community it seemed wanted to help put Hogwarts back together again after the battle. It was very healing to put it back together after so much destruction.
Harry, where are you living now with Ginny and the kids? Have you moved into Grimmauld place, fixed up your parent's old house, or just bought a house (if that's what wizards do)?
I mentioned this before. Kingsley wants us to keep a low profile, so we aren't telling where we live. But it is nice and comfortable and safe, which is the most important thing.
Beatifically June 7th, 2008, 3:21 am What do you mean? I got your Owls and I sent a couple to you. I wonder if someone is tampering with the Owls again.
  My apologies! I completely forgot about those.
There are a lot of things about the Muggle World that I don't miss, like traffic jams. I think that telephones are one thing that wizards miss. Owls are slow and sticking your head in someone's fireplace can be a little unnerving. What do think wizards should have from the Muggle world?
Me. :eyebrows: ;)
Okay, seriously. . . . Hm, computers, television, mp3 players. . . .
Do you talk about Lily, James, Sirius and Remus often?
Harry Potter June 7th, 2008, 3:39 am   My apologies! I completely forgot about those.
Okay then.
Okay, seriously. . . . Hm, computers, television, mp3 players. . . .
I admit that the Wizard Wireless can be pretty boring sometimes.
Do you talk about Lily, James, Sirius and Remus often? I never really knew my parents so I don't talk too much about them. We talk more about Sirius and Lupin because they were a part of our lives. I think Sirius would have loved to have been at the final battle. He would have wanted to take on every Death Eater himself.
Klio June 7th, 2008, 8:41 am There are a lot of things about the Muggle World that I don't miss, like traffic jams. I think that telephones are one thing that wizards miss. Owls are slow and sticking your head in someone's fireplace can be a little unnerving. What do think wizards should have from the Muggle world?
LOL... I can believe that you won't miss traffic jams...
Well, we were discussing this somewhere on these boards, and I realised that the one thing *I* miss most in the wizarding world is a proper sense of democracy and justice.... I guess the Wizarding world has been separated from the muggle world for so long, they missed some of those developments... and since most wizards who have any contact with the muggle world at all leave that world at 11 it might be difficult to catch up....
So far, none of Dudley's children seem to show any magical ability. I think poor Aunt Petunia would freak out if one of her precious grandchildren ended up at Hogwarts. She would probably stop spoiling them with treats and presents and just pretend they didn't exist.
Well, I hope that they'd have an uncle Harry who'd take care of them at least a bit ;) I still think it would be cool if Dudley had magical kids! :)
Ah, OK, that explains it :D Honorary NEWTs, eh? I guess there must have been more muttering abot 'famous Harry Potter' after that...
Ginny and I will tell them things as they get old enough to handle it. I won't tell them everything, though. They need to be prepared for the Wizard world and all the stories that are out there. I remember how it felt to find out that I was famous. I don't want the kids to be as clueless as I was.
Good to hear that :tu: - another discussion we have been having around here.... and I was amazed how many people seem to think it a good idea to keep the kids in the dark till they find out for themselves at school! :hmm:
Everyone in the Wizard community it seemed wanted to help put Hogwarts back together again after the battle. It was very healing to put it back together after so much destruction.
That's great! Nothing like a big project everyone can agree on to bring people together! :tu:
ginny88 June 7th, 2008, 10:41 am Hi Harry,
How are you? How's Ginny and the kids?
When Ginny was still a quidditch star and have tons of adoring fans, how's your monster reacted to it? Do you get jealous/ insecure?
firefly20angel June 7th, 2008, 3:04 pm What do you mean? I got your Owls and I sent a couple to you. I wonder if someone is tampering with the Owls again.
I think that's a problem with owls, they can be intercepted easily.
There are a lot of things about the Muggle World that I don't miss, like traffic jams. I think that telephones are one thing that wizards miss. Owls are slow and sticking your head in someone's fireplace can be a little unnerving. What do think wizards should have from the Muggle world?
Oh, let's see, computers would be useful as would some sort of music device like iPods or MP3s. I would say cars but it seems that that's something both communities share...
Hagrid is still the gamekeeper. He won't retire too soon. No one could take care of those "interestin" creatures the way he could. I am not sure where Grawp is. He may have found himself a giant wife somewhere.
At least this means Hagrid doesn't have to hide Grawp in the forest any longer.
Well, I went back to get my honorary Newts. I had learned a lot in the year the Ron, Hermione and I were looking for the horcruxes. Kingsley wanted us to join the Aurors right away. Oh ok! That explains it, thanks for answering my confusion.
Well, there have been a few times., nevermind.
:err:.....um.
:rotfl: Hahaha! I'm glad the monster still rears its head from your chest!
Ginny and I will tell them things as they get old enough to handle it. I won't tell them everything, though. They need to be prepared for the Wizard world and all the stories that are out there. That's good, it's better that they find out from their family than from rumours at school.

I have't seen the Mirror of Erised since my first year, but I imagine I would still see my family, but this time it would include Sirius and Lupin and maybe my current family, too. It would be a huge group, I think.
Evil can never be conquered. The best we can do is just try to keep it under control. That was something Dumbledore said, and it's true.
Wow, you've really become wiser, Harry :)
I mentioned this before. Kingsley wants us to keep a low profile, so we aren't telling where we live. But it is nice and comfortable and safe, which is the most important thing.
Tsk. We would have loved to know! But if it's for your safety then I'd rather keep on guessing.
nymphadora_nat June 7th, 2008, 3:53 pm Hagrid is still the gamekeeper. He won't retire too soon. No one could take care of those "interestin" creatures the way he could.

some death eaters still in the run?
i wish you'll be able to catch all those bad guys out there... and probably if ever, i'll ask for your help in the real world too...
So far, none of Dudley's children seem to show any magical ability. I think poor Aunt Petunia would freak out if one of her precious grandchildren ended up at Hogwarts. She would probably stop spoiling them with treats and presents and just pretend they didn't exist.

somewhere in the forum, we were arguing or (much better to use), sharing our ideas and opinions if you've told your children everything about you...and what had happened at your time in Hogwarts.
I have't seen the Mirror of Erised since my first year, but I imagine I would still see my family, but this time it would include Sirius and Lupin and maybe my current family, too. It would be a huge group, I think.

that's nice to hear... at least your happy... we'll just keep on guessing then...
Beatifically June 8th, 2008, 8:43 pm Well, there have been a few times., nevermind.
:rotfl: Oh my goodness Harry, you are hilarious.
Do any of you children act like the people you named them after?
Can you relate a lot with Teddy since he is in the same situation as you were? Do you talk to him a lot about his parents?
leah49 June 8th, 2008, 10:06 pm How's Teddy, Harry, you skipped my question before.
Moriath June 9th, 2008, 8:55 am I suppose we could cut Harry some slack. He is a busy wizard and can't answer each and every question. ;)
leah49 June 9th, 2008, 7:03 pm Cut Harry slack? Come on now. ;)
OK, OK, I'll cut Harry slack. I wasn't even upset, just pointing out that my question had been skipped and that's why I was asking again.
Harry Potter June 9th, 2008, 10:47 pm Hi Harry,
How are you? How's Ginny and the kids?
When Ginny was still a quidditch star and have tons of adoring fans, how's your monster reacted to it? Do you get jealous/ insecure? Ginny and the kids are great.:tu:
I try to ignore Ginny's fans. Most of them are quite immature anyway. I did get a little jealous, sometimes, in the very beginning of her career, when she talked a lot about them.
Do you visit hogwarts often, harry?
oh i hope hagrid's not keeping another dragon again..?
some death eaters still in the run?
is aunt petunia still treating you the same as before?
I get to Hogwarts occassionally. Hagrid is one of the main reasons I go there. I am sure he would love to have a dragon, but he knows he can't have one.
Yes, there are still a few Death eaters out there. They has been a rumor that a few of them are in South America.
Aunt Petunia is nicer now that I am out of her house, but she isn't exactly warm and cuddly, either. She spends a lot of time at Dudders' house.
Do any of you children act like the people you named them after?
Can you relate a lot with Teddy since he is in the same situation as you were? Do you talk to him a lot about his parents? Each of the kids are pretty much their own persons. Teddy is a great kid. His grandmother has done a good job with him. Our kids love having him over. I think he would prefer to live here sometimes.
How's Teddy, Harry, you skipped my question before. Teddy is doing very well. He has a lot of his mother's spirit.
Sheree June 10th, 2008, 11:45 am Hey, Harry!
Silly question, I know!
Have you found a way to make your hair lie flat? :)
Pearl_Took June 10th, 2008, 2:45 pm Have you found a way to make your hair lie flat? :)
I hope not.
P.S. I am aware that Harry is a happily married man, by the way. :p
BurrowGhoul June 10th, 2008, 4:59 pm Harry, my kids were debating the merits of a Firebolt over the Nimbus series, and we started wondering. What type of broom are you riding these days? And is Ginny's broom better than yours?
Harry Potter June 10th, 2008, 8:05 pm Hey, Harry!
Silly question, I know!
Have you found a way to make your hair lie flat? :) No, just like my father, it won't lie flat. At least it isn't falling out.
Harry, my kids were debating the merits of a Firebolt over the Nimbus series, and we started wondering. What type of broom are you riding these days? And is Ginny's broom better than yours?
Ginny was given the latest international level racing broom when she played with the Harpies. She still has that broom. I can't say if it is better than mine. She likes it better. I got a new broom after the war was over. I never like to apparate if I can help it, so I use the broom when I can. We play Quidditch a lot when the Weasly family gets together, so of course I got the latest Firebolt model that was available at the time. I will keep it until the twigs fall out, since it seems to anticipate my every move. :tu:
firefly20angel June 10th, 2008, 10:58 pm Urgh, I'm running out of questions...you skipped my question about how old James is but..like others, I'll cut you some slack.
Let's see, how in tune are you with the happenings in the muggle world since you left the Dursleys?
ThePottyPotter June 11th, 2008, 4:16 pm Hey Harry sorry if you've already been asked this question, but what happened to Uncle Vernon? Is he still alive? And does he ever talk to you nowadays?
Klio June 11th, 2008, 7:28 pm No, just like my father, it won't lie flat. At least it isn't falling out.
Well, that IS good news. :tu: on both counts. :D
Wait till Pearl gets here and squees all over the thread :D
BurrowGhoul June 11th, 2008, 9:26 pm Hey Harry sorry if you've already been asked this question, but what happened to Uncle Vernon? Is he still alive? And does he ever talk to you nowadays?I hope his time with Dedalus Diggle mellowed him out a bit!
PureBloodGirl June 11th, 2008, 10:29 pm Are you still as rich as you were when you were a kid?
Harry Potter June 12th, 2008, 9:16 pm Urgh, I'm running out of questions...you skipped my question about how old James is but..like others, I'll cut you some slack.
Let's see, how in tune are you with the happenings in the muggle world since you left the Dursleys? Sorry about that. James is five years old.
I keep in touch with the Muggle World to some extent. Dumbledore used to read the Muggle newspapers because it was a good source of information. Troublemakers will often attack Muggles first. The Auror office gets a lot of tips from their media, although they don't realize it.
Hey Harry sorry if you've already been asked this question, but what happened to Uncle Vernon? Is he still alive? And does he ever talk to you nowadays? Uncle Vernon is still alive. And he has found even more things to complain about than ever before. I used to be his favorite topic. Now he has moved on to politics, the neighbors, the grandkids, the daughter-in-law and his aches and pains. I think he likes being miserable.
I hope his time with Dedalus Diggle mellowed him out a bit! Uncle Vernon and Dedalus Diggle - I still laugh about that. :rotfl: There was stuffy old Uncle Vernon sputtering and muttering at almost everything poor Dedalus did. Eventually Uncle Vernon tried his best to pretend that Dedalus wasn't a wizard. I think the worst was the way Dedalus went on and on about me. Uncle Vernon did not want to believe anything he said. Whenever Uncle Vernon called me a no good layabout, Dedalus just about exploded. It was a wonderful experience for both of them.
Are you still as rich as you were when you were a kid? Actually, I haven't paid that much attention. I had enough money when I was at Hogwarts, and there was still plenty left in the vault after I left school. I get paid by the Ministry and Ginny gets an income from her job, which pays for our expenses. Kids cost money, you know. So, I think I'm doing okay.
Klio June 12th, 2008, 10:50 pm LOL... I have to say, I would have liked to have heard a lot more about Dedalus and Vernon Dursley... :D But obviously, JKR had a more important story to tell for that year.
Well, referring to the other thread in here....
It's nice to see that you read JKR's short story.... I wonder sometimes: how much chance did you ever get to ask people like Sirius and Remus about your parents? Or some other people from the earlier generation who knew them...? Someone must be left who knew them well?
Oh, and have you ever flown Sirius' bike since Arthur put it together again? :D
leah49 June 12th, 2008, 11:07 pm No, just like my father, it won't lie flat. At least it isn't falling out. That's good! So no receding hair line like a certain Malfoy?
firefly20angel June 13th, 2008, 12:10 am I'm surprised that this series is called "Harry Potter" and not "Elvendork Potter" since you know, it's unisex and all :D
Expel_The_Armos June 13th, 2008, 3:46 am Harry, what is your greatest fear of all time?
wickedwickedboy June 18th, 2008, 1:56 pm That's good! So no receding hair line like a certain Malfoy?
Receding hairline was a misnomer, that was actually a new hairstyle he is sporting, right Harry?
hplova15165 June 18th, 2008, 8:54 pm Harry, what is your greatest fear of all time?
Good question! Is it still dementors or is it something to do with Voldemort returning?
I'm surprised that this series is called "Harry Potter" and not "Elvendork Potter" since you know, it's unisex and all :D
How I love the name Elvendork! *sighs like a fangirl in love...* But only because Sirius and James mentioned it... I mean, it's Sirius and James!
firefly20angel June 22nd, 2008, 11:26 pm How I love the name Elvendork! *sighs like a fangirl in love...* But only because Sirius and James mentioned it... I mean, it's Sirius and James!
I know, right? Julvett, an HP fan artist, drew this scene that James was telling Lily, with Sirius as backup, that they should name their child Elvendork. Lily wasn't too eager on the name though
BurrowGhoul June 23rd, 2008, 1:36 am Harry, did you EVER read Hogwarts, A History, and was it updated to include the Final Battle?
ginny88 June 23rd, 2008, 4:52 pm Hi Harry,
What is the best / most precious gift Ginny has given you (could be your bday, xmas, anniversary)?
And what have you given her that she's so happy about?
Thanks!
Expel_The_Armos June 24th, 2008, 3:54 am Yet another question for the so awesome Harry to the Potter.
Anydarnway, what is your favorite spell/jinx/curse/hex/charm etc etc.?
Harry Potter June 24th, 2008, 10:06 am Harry, did you EVER read Hogwarts, A History, and was it updated to include the Final Battle?Oh. Hermione did though, so I actually ask her if I want to know something about it...
Anydarnway, what is your favorite spell/jinx/curse/hex/charm etc etc.?That's Expelliarmus. :D

After I asked I figured it'd be that. It did save your life a few times. Any others, Harry?
ginny88 June 24th, 2008, 4:28 pm Hi Harry,
I'm re-posting this coz you accidentally skipped this :)
What is the best / most precious gift Ginny has given you (could be your bday, xmas, anniversary)?
And what have you given her that she's so happy about?
Thanks!
Klio June 24th, 2008, 6:01 pm That's Expelliarmus. :D
I can believe that this spell has remained a favourite! But I sincerely hope that you don't have to use iot very often these days.... Do you?

Thanks! This is a hard question. :hmm: Guys don't always get this kind of stuff right. Well, the children are very special. She's given me that. As far as what I've given her that she likes, um, well she says she likes a lot of stuff. She wears this ring I gave her with her birthstone, peridote, a lot.
I can believe that this spell has remained a favourite! But I sincerely hope that you don't have to use iot very often these days.... Do you?
Expelliarmus still works great for me. I'd rather disarm someone rather then give them the chance to hex me first.
Potter_fan June 24th, 2008, 8:35 pm ok I found this thread late (sorry:blush:) so I am sorry if this has been asked but there are TOO many questions to read through them all.
First. *SMACK UPSIDE THE HEAD* THAT'S for dumping Ginny at the end of your sixth year. YES I'm glad you got back together but that upset me to no end. and WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?
now that that's out of my system (been wanting to do that a LONG time)
I resently read a Fan Fiction (A story written by a fan) where Draco Died and you went into the abyss and gave up your magic to bring him back to life. IE you became a squib> MY question is Would you do that, or simular, in real life?
is there anyone (other than possibly Ginny) you WOULD do that for?
Klio June 24th, 2008, 11:28 pm Expelliarmus still works great for me. I'd rather disarm someone rather then give them the chance to hex me first.
Yes, I can believe that.... but do you still get into this sort of battle a lot these days?
muggleborn168 June 28th, 2008, 2:49 pm Hi Harry! How did you feel when Dudley was starting to be NICE to you? Are you two still getting along?
ginny88 June 28th, 2008, 7:03 pm Hi Harry,
If you would happen to find again the Mirror of Erised, what would you see in them?
You almost have everything in life at the moment, but has there been other thing/ stuff you'd like to have/do so you'll feel contented?
lumos168 June 30th, 2008, 2:01 pm Hi Harry,
Which person in the battle where you killed Voldemort do you feel helped you most?
Iceblade June 30th, 2008, 8:31 pm Did your relationship with or your perspective of your Aunt change after learning so much about her?
Harry Potter July 1st, 2008, 6:51 pm ok I found this thread late (sorry:blush:) so I am sorry if this has been asked but there are TOO many questions to read through them all.
It wasn't easy to leave Ginny at that time, believe me. But there are certain things that just have to be done.
And the second part of the question... I'd give my magic up for my loved ones, no questions asked.
Yes, I can believe that.... but do you still get into this sort of battle a lot these days?
Thankfully, I don't :)
Who was your favourite and worst teacher at Hogwarts?
My favourite teacher? Hmm... That's a hard one... I really liked McGonnagal, even if she was a bit strict.
And my least favourite, in terms of teaching, would have to be Snape.
Hi Harry! How did you feel when Dudley was starting to be NICE to you? Are you two still getting along?
We talk once in a while, yes. He's a changed man, and he changed for the better.
Hi Harry,
If you would happen to find again the Mirror of Erised, what would you see in them?
You almost have everything in life at the moment, but has there been other thing/ stuff you'd like to have/do so you'll feel contented?
I suppose I would see my parents alive; I would have loved to have them on my wedding day, and to meet Ginny...
Hi Harry,
Which person in the battle where you killed Voldemort do you feel helped you most?
All of them died because they were fighting because they believed in me, and I think that's the most important help one can get.
Did your relationship with or your perspective of your Aunt change after learning so much about her?
I see her in a different light now, yes.
leah49 July 1st, 2008, 7:17 pm Does Aunt Petunia know you know the stuff about her, like her wanting to attend Hogwarts?
lilyrose July 2nd, 2008, 4:33 pm Hi Harry..
I'm not a crazy fan-girl...but here's a huge hug....*HUGS*..Thats for surviving all the times Voldy tried to kill you and defeating him!
Ok...my questions for now are:
Would you ever consider coming and visiting India with Ginny and the kids?*please come...we'd love you all here*:p
Have you ever called Voldemort..ermm...Voldy?:D
There's this thread called "Ways to Annoy Lord Voldemort"(if he were alive of course)..i dunno if u've seen that thread..you'd love it..but,what humorous way would you pick to annoy him?
And of course, who's your favourite Muggle Actor?(except the HP cast of course)
Do answer...and take care
Cheers
Lily:)
Harry Potter July 4th, 2008, 1:48 pm Does Aunt Petunia know you know the stuff about her, like her wanting to attend Hogwarts? I think she would be very embarrassed to find out that I knew all that stuff. We still don't talk about anything having to do with magic. But she treats me better in general now than she did before.

Lily:) Hi, Lilyrose, I like your name by the way. Ginny and I don't have any plans to travel right now. The kids are still young and it is hard to travel with three young children. India sounds like a wonderful place, though.
I thought I did a fairly good job of annoying him at the very end in the Great Hall. I think just the fact that I wouldn't die really annoyed him the most. He didn't like when he tried to possess me and I kicked him out. I think I have done a good job annoying him.
firefly20angel July 4th, 2008, 4:21 pm I think you've done a good job annoying him too! So what was the last place you travelled to?
Potter_fan July 4th, 2008, 4:39 pm I know you grew up in the muggle world but I've been asking this to everyone...what's your favorite Muggle actvity? Do you enjoy dancing with Ginny?
xFluerDelacourx July 4th, 2008, 5:04 pm Hello, Harry. I've always liked you in the books.
Theres a question I have, did you ever wish your eyes weren't green (so maybe people wouldn't keep saying you ahd your mothers eyes because you tire of hearing it)? If they wren't green what color would you like them to be?
Harry Potter July 21st, 2008, 8:27 pm I think you've done a good job annoying him too! So what was the last place you travelled to? Thanks. I have traveled quite a bit as an Auror. But the last time I went anywhere with Ginny and the kids was to Shell Cottage. It is a beatiful place by the sea. It holds a lot of memories for me, too.
I know you grew up in the muggle world but I've been asking this to everyone...what's your favorite Muggle actvity? Do you enjoy dancing with Ginny?I don't dance well. Ginny tries to get me to dance more, but mostly I'll only dance at weddings. My favorite Muggle activity is using the telephone. I don't get to use one too often, but it is really a nice way to have a conversation with someone.
Hello, Harry. I've always liked you in the books.
Theres a question I have, did you ever wish your eyes weren't green (so maybe people wouldn't keep saying you ahd your mothers eyes because you tire of hearing it)? If they wren't green what color would you like them to be?I didn't get tired of hearing that my eyes were just like my mother's eyes. It always made me glad to hear anything at all about her that was good. I had grown up only hearing bad things from Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon. Green eyes are fine. I really don't care what colour they are as a matter of fact.
Hanover_Fist July 21st, 2008, 9:59 pm Harry, do you still wear your glasses? Is there a magic equivalent of LASIK that you would ever do?
Sirius Black July 22nd, 2008, 11:32 pm Harry! How's my rug rat of a namesake doing?
hplova15165 July 23rd, 2008, 12:01 am Harry! How's my rug rat of a namesake doing?
Rug rat of a namesake?
jenny_d_b July 25th, 2008, 4:58 pm H! I don't know if it's been asked before, but do you keep in touch with Dudley/Petunia? What about Luna? When did you realize Ron loved Hermione/Hermione loved Ron, and how did you feel about it? Did you prefer Ron over Hermione in your school days? Did you ever consider to become a quidditch player professionally?
I apologize for all the questions. :P
hopefulgirl86 July 25th, 2008, 11:18 pm How would you feel if Albus became good friends with Scorpius Malfoy when the boys go to Hogwarts? There are certain theories out there to how you would react...
kittling July 30th, 2008, 10:17 am Hello Harry  its an honour to meet you I have a question.
You once said Snape was probably the bravest man you know - does that mean you think he's the braves candidate standing in the elections?
Harry Potter July 30th, 2008, 12:37 pm Harry, do you still wear your glasses? Is there a magic equivalent of LASIK that you would ever do?I still wear my glasses. I would never allow someone to cast a spell at my eyes. Well, maybe Hermione could do it, but I don't trust anyone else. I'd rather keep wearing glasses.
H! I don't know if it's been asked before, but do you keep in touch with Dudley/Petunia? We send cards at Christmas and there have been a few family gatherings. Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon aren't particularly keen on seeing me you know. What about Luna? We see Luna every once in awhile. When did you realize Ron loved Hermione/Hermione loved Ron, and how did you feel about it? I'm not sure when I realized it. I think when Hermione told Ron that he should have asked her to the Yule Ball first that there may have been something there. But I really tried not to think about it. I didn't pay a lot of attention to that kind of stuff back then. Did you prefer Ron over Hermione in your school days? Ron was a little easier to hang around with. He didn't get quite so excited about things as Hermione did. But she was great, too. I like them both. Did you ever consider to become a quidditch player professionally?Somehow, after all I had been through, Quidditch didn't seem as important as cleaning up after Voldemort. He did a lot of damage in the Ministry.
How would you feel if Albus became good friends with Scorpius Malfoy when the boys go to Hogwarts? There are certain theories out there to how you would react...We always want our children to make the best choices in life. If Albus and Scorpius become friends then there must be a good reason for it.
Hello Harry  its an honour to meet you I have a question.
You once said Snape was probably the bravest man you know - does that mean you think he's the braves candidate standing in the elections?Being brave when fighting Voldemort is one thing. Being able to be diplomatic when it comes to dealing with all types of people, especially people that you don't care for but need to treat well, isn't something everyone can do. Good people skills are very important in my opinion.
leah49 July 30th, 2008, 5:08 pm HARRY! You're hurting my feelings. You're hurting all the feelings of all the people who are working hard on your campaign! Hermione may be one of your best friends, but I'm sure she'd understand if you supported YOURSELF in the elections. Stop being modest and be nice to us who have worked so hard.
PS can you tell your friend, Ron, that we really miss him?
wickedwickedboy July 30th, 2008, 9:50 pm Being brave when fighting Voldemort is one thing. I think you have just shown yourself to be an outstanding diplomat.. So what do you think about becoming Minister of Magic? Seems a little mundane, perhaps being an Auror is more exciting; chasing bad guys; uncovering dark magic and what not. Plus you get the perks of chasing villainesses and I have seen them! Catwoman, Bella, Poison Ivy, Athena, Qetesh... sounds like my kinda work.
Rita Skeeter July 30th, 2008, 11:15 pm Harry, my dear! Surely you remember me, Rita? I've got a couple of questions for you... What do you think about your nomination for Minister for Magic? Do you really think you're up to the role? Many prominent members of the Wizarding Community have expressed their worries about you, and your qualifications... They all seem to understand Mrs. Weasley (formerly known as Ms. Granger) has always been the brain behind all your actions. Do you think you would be up to the task if you were elected?
leah49 July 31st, 2008, 12:14 am Oh my, who let you in?
BurrowGhoul July 31st, 2008, 12:31 am Rita, I LOVE your signature. It is so appropriate!

Why are you here?
Harry Potter July 31st, 2008, 10:11 am Thank you all for the birthday wishes.
Hermione may be one of your best friends, but I'm sure she'd understand if you supported YOURSELF in the elections. Stop being modest and be nice to us who have worked so hard.Hermione is my friend and that will never change.

Klio July 31st, 2008, 10:32 am Happy birthday, Harry! :)
... and many happy returns. :)
leah49 July 31st, 2008, 2:04 pm Happy birthday, Harry! I hope you have a lovely time with your family and friends.
RIPFRED July 31st, 2008, 11:24 pm Happy Birthday, Harry!!!
its_my_life August 3rd, 2008, 1:19 am You are my favorite character in the series Harry. How are you? How is Ginny? How are the kids? How is Kreacher?
Harry Potter August 3rd, 2008, 2:52 pm You are my favorite character in the series Harry. How are you? How is Ginny? How are the kids? How is Kreacher?
Ginny is busy, as always. The kids are great. They are a handful though. James seems to invent ways to get into trouble.
wickedwickedboy August 4th, 2008, 7:24 am So Harry, have you kept that bit of mirror that Sirius gave to you? Does Alberforth still have the one that belonged to Sirius? Does he or anyone ever appear in it? I was thinking about that. The piece you had belonged to your dad didn't it - if Alberforth had the one that belonged to Sirius. It is odd to think that down through the ages the holders of those mirrors will ever be able to keep in touch - whoever they might be over time.
Harry Potter August 4th, 2008, 10:45 am So Harry, have you kept that bit of mirror that Sirius gave to you? Does Alberforth still have the one that belonged to Sirius? Does he or anyone ever appear in it? I still have that piece of mirror somewhere with some of my other things I have collected over time. I don't know if Aberforth still has his piece. I have seen anyone looking in it, but then, I haven't been looking, either.
its_my_life August 4th, 2008, 11:32 pm James is a troublemaker?
Harry Potter August 5th, 2008, 8:50 pm James is a troublemaker? Yes, he is.
Maybe I have more skills at predicting the future than Professor Trelawney thought I did.
leah49 August 6th, 2008, 12:57 am  Harry, thank you for being involved in our campaign to make you Minister of Magic.
Rita Skeeter August 11th, 2008, 4:59 am It is so nice to see you again, Rita. How have the book sales gone lately? I see that you still have your Quick Quotes Quill handy. It takes more than brains to get a job done, though, as I am sure you are well aware.
Nice of you to worry about my job, Harry, but you still haven't answered my question... Oh well, let's try again, shall we?
You are a well-known member of the wizarding society (The Boy Who Lived, The Chosen One...). But we never got to know the real Harry Potter, the one behind the "hero" image. What can you tell us about yourself? Why do you think you would make a good Minister?
wickedwickedboy August 11th, 2008, 10:31 am So Harry, having grown up in the muggle world, you can answer this: which food is more tasty - muggle or wizard world delicacies?
hplova15165 August 18th, 2008, 1:51 am Nice of you to worry about my job, Harry, but you still haven't answered my question... Oh well, let's try again, shall we?

Goodness, you just won't give up. Can't take no for an answer, it seems.
So Harry... did you watch any kid's shows when your children were young? Maybe Muggle shows like Dora or Seseme Street? Or were they wizard shows? If so, which were your favorite? (Yes, an odd question, but I was just wondering...)
CissyBella August 18th, 2008, 4:50 pm Hello, Harry.
I'm sorry if this has been asked already. Are you lining at 12 Grimmauld Place? If so, did you ever manage to silence that screaming portrait of Sirius's mother?
storyteller August 18th, 2008, 6:37 pm Nice of you to worry about my job, Harry, but you still haven't answered my question... Oh well, let's try again, shall we?

Rita, Harry is busy running his campaign. Why do you keep bothering him?
What good is it for Harry to tell you something about himself? Everyone knows about his time at Hogwarts and whatever Harry tells you, you will just twist it around for your own purposes.
Harry has young kids now, he doesn't need you going around and making up stories about him.
I thought Harry answered your question. He said , "It takes more than brains to get a job done".
I am sure even you are smart enough to understand what that means.
Harry is the total package. Intelligence, street smarts, instincts, courage, heart and an untarnished soul.
Klio August 18th, 2008, 8:16 pm Hmmmm.... shouldn't Harry show that he can deal with the press by now? After all, that'll be a big part of his job as Minister, if he gets elected....
Harry Potter August 18th, 2008, 8:39 pm So Harry, having grown up in the muggle world, you can answer this: which food is more tasty - muggle or wizard world delicacies?Well, anything the Dursleys made was rubbish, so I might be a bit biased there. ;) I'd have to say that the feasts at Hogwarts were always very memorable, so I'd say wizard world delicacies.
By the way, I will now be headding off to focus on getting elected for Minster of Magic, so wish Ron and I luck! :)
wickedwickedboy November 10th, 2008, 7:11 pm Well I did more than wish you luck after all . It was a good fun run and of course I still believe you would make the best Minister of Magic. :tu:.
I was wondering...does Hogwarts have class reunions? If so have you gone or do you plan to go?
Harry Potter November 14th, 2008, 7:38 pm Well I did more than wish you luck after all . It was a good fun run and of course I still believe you would make the best Minister of Magic. :tu:.
I was wondering...does Hogwarts have class reunions? If so have you gone or do you plan to go?
We don't have reunions but it's an good idea actually. Of course I am quite close to a lot of classmates. We have so much history together that we talk often.
wickedwickedboy March 22nd, 2009, 6:59 am I can't believe you haven't had a question since last November. What is the world coming to? Well I have a question. You were dubbed "the boy who lived" when young, and later "the chosen one" when older. Do you have a title these days?
Harry Potter March 22nd, 2009, 2:39 pm I have another title but that's not an official one, it's rather informal and that's all I am going to say...
wickedwickedboy March 24th, 2009, 7:45 am What?? The whole exciting build up and you aren't going to say???? Come on Harry, it can't be that bad can it?
Pearl_Took March 24th, 2009, 3:25 pm Maybe it's a private one that Ginny gave him. ;)
Harry, I for one am glad that you're done with the titles. :tu:
Oh, and :huggles:
Harry Potter March 24th, 2009, 3:42 pm What?? The whole exciting build up and you aren't going to say???? Come on Harry, it can't be that bad can it?
Maybe it's a private one that Ginny gave him. ;)
Yes it's private :D
Harry, I for one am glad that you're done with the titles. :tu:
So am I, it wasn't really that great to hear those names over and over again.
Pearl_Took March 24th, 2009, 3:48 pm Yes it's private :D
I knew it!
So am I, it wasn't really that great to hear those names over and over again.
Exactly. Reading about your childhood and teenage years, Harry, I thought that other people in the Wizarding World had really ridiculous expectations of you, and that you suffered for it as a child. :sigh: Their expectations were a burden, IMO.
You did very well without them. :agree:
wickedwickedboy March 25th, 2009, 2:12 am Yes it's private :D
Ah...well yeah, I wasn't thinking along those lines.. I meant a title out and about in the wizard world - but I can see how that would get tiring. Although word has it that you are as great an Auror as there ever was - so don't be surprised if a James Bond like name doesn't eventually catch on. You may soon be dubbed, 'the man with the golden wand"!
Harry Potter March 26th, 2009, 3:26 pm Hey that's an idea... maybe I can ask a golden wand for my birthday :eyebrows:
I still love my old trustworthy wand though.
wickedwickedboy March 28th, 2009, 3:47 pm :rotfl:. Well while I think the title would be kick, unfortunately, the wand is a little...well...
http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll28/xx_Anakin_xx/wand.jpg
see what I mean? It could get confusing. They may dub you the 'man with the golden baton' - so I think we should just try for the title....
Klio April 1st, 2009, 12:43 am :eeep:
OK. What now?
Awaiting instructions.
leah49 April 1st, 2009, 12:57 am Harry, we've got a problem here. Will you help?
Den_muggle April 1st, 2009, 2:24 am Come on, Harry. We need you. I have been banned from Hogsmeade and I have no invisibility cloak to help me get there to help.
leah49 April 2nd, 2009, 12:15 am I hear you did some awesome work, Harry. Thank you.
Pearl_Took April 2nd, 2009, 12:22 am He demoted Voldemort.
It was awesome! :D
Yay, Harry!
Klio April 2nd, 2009, 2:09 am It was AWESOME. :) :tu:
And seeing your name in red, Harry, was quite a good thing. :tu:
Voldemorts8thHorcrux April 2nd, 2009, 2:13 am one day voldemort will rise again!
Klio April 2nd, 2009, 2:19 am And we, like Harry, I am sure, will be ready to resist him! :agree: :relax:
Pox Voldius April 2nd, 2009, 2:41 am And we shall be ready for your resistance :p
leah49 April 2nd, 2009, 3:09 am Oh, Harry, I wish I'd seen your name in red.
wickedwickedboy April 2nd, 2009, 6:25 am Glad to see you overcame that dark lord again. I suppose it was due to my changing sides and backing up your effort. . Good job. :tu:
Harry Potter April 3rd, 2009, 8:13 pm Thank you everyone, I couldn't have done it without my friends and you who helped :)
lilyrose April 4th, 2009, 7:36 am Congrats, Harry and great new UT :D :tu:
At last you're no longer 'First Year'
Martishon April 4th, 2009, 11:47 am Hello Harry
You were very brave again, and your spells were very funny. :D
I saw that my mom was mean to you in the common room. I'm sorry. :(
She is a little bit crazy but she's not really bad. And I'll hide the cable from her computer if she does that again.

Hello
Aw thank you! I hope you had fun as well!
Your mother likes the bad guys a lot!
Oh hiding the computer cable is an excellent way to get back at your mother :rotfl: I am sure Fred and George like that!
Daggerstone April 4th, 2009, 1:39 pm Seeing as both of you are so worried about my ethical well-being, it should please you to learn that "the bad guys" don't find me any more enjoyable a company than you lot... *snorts*
And I'll have you know I also have a laptop and WIFI; 100% cable-free connection. :relax:
arithmancer April 4th, 2009, 3:27 pm Oh hiding the computer cable is an excellent way to get back at your mother :rotfl: I am sure Fred and George like that!

Hmm...I think James Jr. might like that idea too...
Yes, James Sirius is a bit like his grandfather.
Green_Arrow April 12th, 2009, 3:45 pm So, who taught you how to tie your shoe-laces?
Can't imagine your foul uncle ever teaching you that..
:)
PerfectDystopia April 12th, 2009, 11:07 pm Yes, James Sirius is a bit like his grandfather.
Are you happy about that?
weasleychild January 5th, 2010, 4:08 pm When you went back to Hogwarts after defeating Voldemort was there much action or anything? I can't imagine a year at Howgarts with no action!
Harry Potter January 5th, 2010, 4:18 pm I didn't go back to Hogwarts, Ron and I joined Kingsley at the Ministry to help rebuild it. Hermione is the only one of us who went back. Hogwarts of course had to be rebuilt as well because it was damaged due to the battle.
leah49 January 28th, 2010, 6:05 pm Harry, how long did it take you to learn to read?
Harry Potter January 31st, 2010, 1:07 pm Just like any other normal child it took a while. I can't precisely remember my age though.
HeadLikeAHole February 10th, 2010, 9:22 am Harry, I am turning to you as a man in need.
You obviously have your ways of charming the ladies, since after all you did get Ginny. Can you give the lonely heart males of the forum some advice?
leah49 February 11th, 2010, 6:44 pm Thanks, I was just wondering. I didn't think the Dursleys took the time to read to you or provide you with any books.

You obviously have your ways of charming the ladies, since after all you did get Ginny. Can you give the lonely heart males of the forum some advice?I’d say just be yourself. :)Thanks, I was just wondering. I didn't think the Dursleys took the time to read to you or provide you with any books. They didn’t. However, Dudley had some books in his old room that I was able to read. I also used the library at my muggle school to read.

Harry Potter April 26th, 2010, 11:32 pm SO harry how's the kids? They are well. They're having a good year at Hogwarts.

lovegoodfan001 May 5th, 2010, 1:06 am Hey, Harry! The first thing I wanna say is: You are wayy awesome! and next...I noticed Sirius commented on here, and you never wrote back to him. And are you ignoring Rita Skeeter's messages on purpose? Oh, and I was just wondering what your kids look like? Like James, Albus, and Lily? I would almost imagine James with your uncontrollable hair, and I know James and Lily must have brown eyes, like their mother, because it said in the book that Albus Severus was the only of your three children that inherited Lily's eyes. Oh and I'm wondering, have you read the Harry Potter series? I loved them all three times and I'm sure you'd like them...and reccomend them to Ginny and Cho Chang, maybe, too. Have you seen Cho in a while? What did it used to feel like, being around her? And what I thought was funny was, in the last book, what would've been your seventh year, you were in the Room of Requirement, and you needed to get into the Ravenclaw common room, Cho stood up to show you, and Ginny acted rather, fierce or infuriated or something, and I wondered why and then reality kicked in and I was like, "Oh...Jealousy!!!" I thought it was pretty funny. Sorry this message was so long.
silmarilien May 12th, 2010, 8:34 pm Harry, you are such a wonderful inspiration to all of us! we love you!
Did you ever tell Ginny that you kept staring at her ink name on the map all throughout the horhunt?
Also,
What does it fee like to finally have such a wonderful loving family and to have Hermione and Ron be actually part of it!? ^^ I think that's one of the best parts of you marrying Ginny, that and that Mrs. Weasly can really look after you being sufficiently fed, as well as the kids XD

You know... I'm starting to think you hexed that poor Radcliffe lad. Are you quite sure you're happy with the Muggle avatar? http://www.smileydesign.net/smileys/expr21.gif

Sirius and me have other ways of communicating :D
I do try to ignore Rita Skeeter, she is so annoying!
I did read the books of course, they are nicely done :)
As for seeing Cho, well I don't see her that often, she married a Muggle and she tends to stay in the Muggle world a lot.
Harry, you are such a wonderful inspiration to all of us! we love you!
Aww thank you!
Did you ever tell Ginny that you kept staring at her ink name on the map all throughout the horhunt?
Yes I did tell her, she was touched :)

It's amazing, I feel so lucky.
Both Ginny and I cook ourselves, so I don't need Molly to be fed properly, but of course we do love to go to Molly and Arthur for dinner :D

Well the years have not been kind have they... I think they probably overdid it, because I haven't suffered from stress that much to make me look 50 years old
winky45 June 2nd, 2010, 7:19 am Sorry if the questions are a bit personal. What is it in Cho that made you fall for her? And what about Ginny?
Astrognash July 14th, 2010, 4:23 pm How are you planning to celebrate your upcoming 30th birthday?
FutureAuthor13 July 20th, 2010, 1:54 pm Hi, Harry! :D
Sorry if this has been asked before, but what are your feelings about Severus Snape, now? Do you still have some grudges towards him are is all forgiven?
Also, does Snape have a portrait in the Headmaster's office, like Dumbledore's? If so, do you go to Hogwarts to see them both and talk?
Thanks! :)
Stupefy150 July 20th, 2010, 10:14 pm Hey, Harry!
Is Quidditch fun? :wow:
winky45 July 21st, 2010, 12:38 pm Harry, I always feel sad the way you end with Cho, of course now you have Ginny. Talking about your teenage years, what in Cho attract you most?
What about Luna, did you ever consider her? There were a few moments when she alone can comfort you when no one else can.
