Hes June 9th, 2008, 11:27 pm Arthur Weasley, our favourite Muggle fan. Do you ever wonder how he can so interested in Muggles and Muggle objects? Do you wonder why he was never very ambitious when it came to his career at the Ministry?
Go ahead and ask him!
Iceblade July 2nd, 2008, 11:57 pm Hello Mr Weasley, what first got you so interesting in us muggles? What part of our lives do you find most curious and/or interesting?
leah49 July 3rd, 2008, 12:25 am Hello, Mr. Weasley. How did you feel when you found out your daughter was dating Harry Potter and then when you found out they were to be married?
Klio July 3rd, 2008, 1:51 pm Hello, Mr Weasley!
I am a great fan of yours! I think anyone who has such love for and interest in a group of people that his own tribe considers inferior obviously rocks!!! :)
I am wondering, though - why didn't the ministry invest at least in a few basic muggle books to have at least a bit of a reference libary for the Muggles Artifact office? I hope you find t easierr now to get acess to information about muggles, now that you are using the internet! :D
Anyway - thanks so much for remaining fascinated by muggles when other purebloods found it enough to be condescending... :)
firefly20angel July 3rd, 2008, 2:44 pm Hey Arthur, I hope you understand pixels and surfing the internet now!
Were you surprised to know that muggles know about you?
What were you thinking when you saw Molly attack Bellatrix?
What happened to you and Molly after you eloped? Were your families surprised? What did you do when you realised Molly was pregnant? And how did you react when you found out, years after Molly's first pregnancy, that Ginny would be the first girl in your family in generations?
What was, besides Muggle Studies, your favourite class in Hogwarts?
Potter_fan July 4th, 2008, 4:48 pm What is your favorite Muggle thing to do?
houseelf25 July 7th, 2008, 6:33 am have you yet discovered how airplanes stay up?
AccioHP July 7th, 2008, 6:35 am If you were a muggle what type of job would you want?
Arthur Weasley July 7th, 2008, 1:27 pm My goodness, there's loads of questions. I had no idea Muggles were so interested in us! Let me see if I can manage to get to them all.
Hello Mr Weasley, what first got you so interesting in us muggles? What part of our lives do you find most curious and/or interesting?
I think I've always been interested in Muggles. I would watch Muggles as a child when my mum and dad would take us out and just couldn't stop thinking about how they did stuff. I love theall elecktic things Muggles use to replace magic, and I've always been keen to learn about cars and ways that Muggles get around.
Hello, Mr. Weasley. How did you feel when you found out your daughter was dating Harry Potter and then when you found out they were to be married?
Oh, well, I did have a feeling there was something between them but I was never sure. It was still a bit of shock. I was delighted, Harry's a fine young man. The boys gave him enough of a hard time, but they were all happy too.
Hello, Mr Weasley!
I am a great fan of yours! I think anyone who has such love for and interest in a group of people that his own tribe considers inferior obviously rocks!!! :)
Thank you! It's nice to speak to you too.
I am wondering, though - why didn't the ministry invest at least in a few basic muggle books to have at least a bit of a reference libary for the Muggles Artifact office? I hope you find t easierr now to get acess to information about muggles, now that you are using the internet! :D
Oh definitely. This Internet (is that it?) is incredible. There's endless information on it, isn't there?
You're right, we didn't have many Muggle references. I reckon the Ministry still had the bit of an attitude that wizards don't need Muggles. We're definitely guilty of thinking that way sometimes. It's changed since then and things are getting better.
Hey Arthur, I hope you understand pixels and surfing the internet now!
It's easier, now, yes. These pixels are my next new research project. Could they be dangerous?
Were you surprised to know that muggles know about you?
I've always suspected that wizards don't give Muggles enough credit about how much they know. I was shocked that I appear in a series of books, though.
What were you thinking when you saw Molly attack Bellatrix?
I was still quite a bit numb from everything that was going on. Mostly what I felt was rage towards Bellatrix.
What happened to you and Molly after you eloped? Were your families surprised? What did you do when you realised Molly was pregnant? And how did you react when you found out, years after Molly's first pregnancy, that Ginny would be the first girl in your family in generations?
We just went about starting our lives together. Our families were taken by surprise, certainly, but that was years ago. It's like it never even happened. And we were just happy that all our babies were healthy and happy. We did have a few smiles about the coincidence with Ginny too.
What was, besides Muggle Studies, your favourite class in Hogwarts?
I liked them all pretty equally. Unlike most of my children, I even enjoyed History of Magic.
What is your favorite Muggle thing to do?
I love driving and fiddling with Muggle things to find out how they work. Surfing the Internet is fascinating too though. I wsih I had discovered it sooner.
have you yet discovered how airplanes stay up?
Harry and Hermione have both explained it to me. I have a rough idea, but it's still amazing.
If you were a muggle what type of job would you want?
Do Muggles get paid for flying those hepicopter things? I'd love to do that!
I hope I got to all the questions. I didn't see anymore. I'm off to read more about pixels.
ginny88 July 7th, 2008, 4:39 pm Hi Mr. Weasley,
What it is that made you fall madly in love with Mrs. Weasley?
How was your wedding like, is it big wedding?
Who is your favorite among your children?
Thanks!
firefly20angel July 7th, 2008, 6:39 pm My goodness, there's loads of questions. I had no idea Muggles were so interested in us! Let me see if I can manage to get to them all.
I think I've always been interested in Muggles. I would watch Muggles as a child when my mum and dad would take us out and just couldn't stop thinking about how they did stuff. That's so cute, little Arthur looking at muggle things
Oh, well, I did have a feeling there was something between them but I was never sure. It was still a bit of shock. I was delighted, Harry's a fine young man. The boys gave him enough of a hard time, but they were all happy too.
I hope they didn't give him too much of a rough time, I don't think many people would want to go against the Chosen One, even if he was the guy who was dating their little sister. Actually, forget the Chosen One, why would they risk having Ginny be mad at them?
Oh definitely. This Internet (is that it?) is incredible. There's endless information on it, isn't there?
Yes, you got it, internet. did you have trouble when you first started using it?
It's easier, now, yes. These pixels are my next new research project. Could they be dangerous?
:hmm: Not to my knowledge...I think I can say they're pretty safe.
I've always suspected that wizards don't give Muggles enough credit about how much they know. I was shocked that I appear in a series of books, though.
Have you read the books?
Harry and Hermione have both explained it to me. I have a rough idea, but it's still amazing.
You must be delighted you have a muggle born daughter-in-law!
Do Muggles get paid for flying those hepicopter things? I'd love to do that!
Yea, they do! There's loads of jobs related to flying helicopters.
I hope I got to all the questions. I didn't see anymore. I'm off to read more about pixels.
Try wikipedia for the basic information on pixels, wikipedia might be wrong sometimes but it's pretty helpful!
Iceblade July 7th, 2008, 7:53 pm You should check out ucyclopedia.com if you are in need of a laugh. It's pretty hilarious, but it is meant to be wrong on most everything. (all part of the humor)
Hanover_Fist July 10th, 2008, 2:11 am In your quest to experience Muggle things, have you ever tried Coke and Pepsi? Which do you prefer?
Arthur Weasley July 13th, 2008, 3:51 pm Hi Mr. Weasley,
What it is that made you fall madly in love with Mrs. Weasley?
How was your wedding like, is it big wedding?
Who is your favorite among your children?
Thanks! Molly has a spirit that attracted me right away. I love her fiery temper. It goes so well with my easy going nature. She also has a great capacity to love people deeply.
I'm a man. I let Molly have her way with the planning. It was a wonderful wedding and she looked beautiful. That is what I remember.
Yes, you got it, internet. did you have trouble when you first started using it?
Have you read the books?
You must be delighted you have a muggle born daughter-in-law!
I had to have Hermione walk me through the internet step by step. She understands those things so well. It is a joy to have her as a daugther-in-law. I see her parents frequently. They are such lovely people.
I haven't read the books. They are fan-fiction to me.
You should check out ucyclopedia.com if you are in need of a laugh. It's pretty hilarious, but it is meant to be wrong on most everything. (all part of the humor) Thanks. I may check that out someday.
In your quest to experience Muggle things, have you ever tried Coke and Pepsi? Which do you prefer? I don't think I have tried either one. I don't get a chance to have those Muggle foods too often.
Rayven July 16th, 2008, 10:27 pm Hello Mr Weasley
I know you love muggle inventions, just wanted to know if you've managed to get yourself an IPod or IPhone yet?
RIPFRED July 20th, 2008, 4:29 pm Do you spoil any of your grandchildren?
Arthur Weasley July 23rd, 2008, 9:42 pm Hello Mr Weasley
I know you love muggle inventions, just wanted to know if you've managed to get yourself an IPod or IPhone yet? No, they don't work without a cell phone contract, do they.
Do you spoil any of your grandchildren?Of course I do. Molly is always complaining about it. But she does her fair share of spoiling them, too.
Potter_fan July 23rd, 2008, 10:22 pm No, they don't work without a cell phone contract, do they.
ipods do.
they are just portable music players
elfrida12clagg July 24th, 2008, 9:29 pm Do you like Sirius or Remus better?
Have you ever had Ice-cream...If so what's your favorite kind?
What's you favorite kind of bertie bott's every flavour beans?
Are you any good at wizards chess?
what's your favorite colour?
Rayven July 24th, 2008, 10:47 pm No, they don't work without a cell phone contract, do they.
Thanks for answering Mr Weasley. Unfortunately IPhones do need a phone contract but Ipods dont.
Why not get Mrs Weasley one....... she could download all of Celestina Warbreck's songs onto it :lol:
JJFinch July 25th, 2008, 3:48 pm No, they don't work without a cell phone contract, do they.
Mr Weasley, you've clearly been spending too much time on the internet which is inundated with Americans - we English people call them mobile phones. :p
LumosPatronus July 25th, 2008, 3:53 pm mr w, have you gone completely bald yet?
jenny_d_b July 25th, 2008, 5:08 pm Did you actually agree with Hermione about elf rights or was it just something you said in GoF to calm her down? And how did you feel about Hermione and Harry joining the family? Do you ask them a lot about muggle items? Did you ever think about Ron being outshined by all his brothers, by Ginny and Harry&Hermione? Did you want more children after Ginny? Did you feel more protective of her as she was the only girl (certain fathers tend to do that)? How do you feel about Fleur?
leah49 July 26th, 2008, 12:19 am I'll ask you since I happen to be on your page at the moment and you do know something about Muggle things. Do wizards have portable music? We have compact discs. Can you go to the store and buy your favorite musical artist's music? I'm guessing you don't listen to it on a CD player. What would you listen to it on?
Arthur Weasley July 29th, 2008, 9:38 pm Do you like Sirius or Remus better?
Have you ever had Ice-cream...If so what's your favorite kind?
What's you favorite kind of bertie bott's every flavour beans?
Are you any good at wizards chess?
what's your favorite colour? I have had ice cream plenty of times. Fortesques has the best ice cream in Diagon Alley. I have many favourite flavours.
I am not as good at Wizard Chess as Ron is.
mr w, have you gone completely bald yet? Not yet. There is still plenty of hair there.
Did you actually agree with Hermione about elf rights or was it just something you said in GoF to calm her down? I believe in elf rights. I always have. And how did you feel about Hermione and Harry joining the family? Do you ask them a lot about muggle items? Harry and Hermione are great. I have learned a lot about Muggles from them. Did you ever think about Ron being outshined by all his brothers, by Ginny and Harry&Hermione? I always felt a little bad for Ron. There were so many kids in the family that it became diffcult to give any one of them special attention. Did you feel more protective of her as she was the only girl (certain fathers tend to do that)? Ginny is a wonderful daughter. I admit to feeling more protective of her than I did of the boys, and they were protective of her, too. How do you feel about Fleur? Fleur is a lovely person and an excellent mother.
I'll ask you since I happen to be on your page at the moment and you do know something about Muggle things. Do wizards have portable music? We have compact discs. Can you go to the store and buy your favorite musical artist's music? I'm guessing you don't listen to it on a CD player. What would you listen to it on?I don't listen to music very much. There are Wizarding Wireless out there, but I never bothered much about them.
Lord Godric July 30th, 2008, 11:23 pm What do you think of being nominated for Minister of Magic?
Arthur Weasley July 31st, 2008, 9:55 am What do you think of being nominated for Minister of Magic? I am flattered, of course. Kingsley has done a fine job. I am sorry to see him retire.
Fred Weasley July 31st, 2008, 3:28 pm Minister of Magic - you will be brilliant. I always knew you had it in you, Dad.
Rita Skeeter July 31st, 2008, 10:21 pm Mr. Weasley, I'm sure you remember me... I come on behalf of The Daily Prophet.
What do you answer to those who say you don't have the "social background" to be Minister for Magic? Do you feel you're up to the task? If you get nominated and win the elections, will you move to a more... suitable place?
Potter_fan July 31st, 2008, 10:29 pm Mr. Weasley, I'm sure you remember me... I come on behalf of The Daily Prophet.
What do you answer to those who say you don't have the "social background" to be Minister for Magic? Do you feel you're up to the task? If you get nominated and win the elections, will you move to a more... suitable place?
woman be GLAD this is a faimly friendly site....I have SOOOO many words I would LOVE to say to you right now....
Arthur Weasley August 1st, 2008, 12:32 pm Mr. Weasley, I'm sure you remember me... I come on behalf of The Daily Prophet. What do you answer to those who say you don't have the "social background" to be Minister for Magic? I think I am more aware of the daily problems that the average Wizard faces than the more “social” of my peers may be. Do you feel you're up to the task?If nominated, I will run. If elected, I will serve. With age comes wisdom. If you get nominated and win the elections, will you move to a more... suitable place?I don’t see the need to pretend to be something that I am not.
LumosPatronus August 1st, 2008, 12:41 pm Mr. Weasley, I'm sure you remember me... I come on behalf of The Daily Prophet.
What do you answer to those who say you don't have the "social background" to be Minister for Magic? Do you feel you're up to the task? If you get nominated and win the elections, will you move to a more... suitable place?
Annoying woman...:grumble:
Is there anything wrong with where he lives? If the people believe he is up to the job, then it shouldn't matter where he lives, because he is believed in and then people have the faith enough in him that he will do a good job, after Kingsley.
Mr. W, If you don't win the elections who would you like to become the new minister for magic?
Also, is there any change in the jolly atmosphere of the Weasley household now that Fred passed away?
its_my_life August 3rd, 2008, 1:24 am Do you miss Fred?
Arthur Weasley August 7th, 2008, 10:59 pm Mr. W, If you don't win the elections who would you like to become the new minister for magic? Well, that's a difficult question. I think most of those nominated would do an excellent job, though I think I may have to rethink this process with all the techbology if Lord Voldemort is able to secure a nomination!
Also, is there any change in the jolly atmosphere of the Weasley household now that Fred passed away?
Do you miss Fred?
Of course, we always remember him whenever we get together, but George says, and rightly so I think, that Fred would never want us to go around gloomy and miserable. We try to remember all the fun times we had, and there were plenty of those
Sheree August 8th, 2008, 4:31 pm If you get nominated and win the elections, will you move to a more... suitable place?
I like his house, thank you. I think it's quite lovely, and charming.
I'm with Harry on this one - the Burrow is a great home.
wickedwickedboy August 10th, 2008, 1:23 pm Did you ever actually try out the flying motorbike after fixing it? Do you miss it if you did?
Arthur Weasley August 10th, 2008, 4:47 pm I never tried to fly it - it is too intimidating. But I love tinkering with it!
And, thank you for your kind words Sheree - I too love the Burrow, I have too many memories of it to think about living anywhere else.
Rita Skeeter August 11th, 2008, 4:45 am Me again, Mr. Weasley, thank you for your replies.
Now I want to discuss a different topic with you; do you have a plan? In your opinion, what is the most important subject the Ministry needs to address? And how would you address it?
Lord Godric August 11th, 2008, 7:48 am Mr. Weasley, I have seen that many of your fellow opponents running for Minister of Magic have released statements about why they deserve the job and what they plan to do (and both of the ones I have read were quite lengthy) could you perhaps release a statement as well?
Arthur Weasley August 18th, 2008, 9:12 pm Hi everyone, I am going to put any further questions on hold unitl after the Ministro of Magic elections are over. Thank you for all of your support! :)
Annielogic April 4th, 2009, 1:50 pm How are you doing as Head of Muggle Relations, since the Minister Electons? :)
Arthur Weasley April 12th, 2009, 3:25 pm How are you doing as Head of Muggle Relations, since the Minister Electons? :)
Things are going very well, thank you for asking. My daughter-in-law has been tremendous help to me. And I have a better office now. :)
Annielogic April 12th, 2009, 6:48 pm Things are going very well, thank you for asking. My daughter-in-law has been tremendous help to me. And I have a better office now. :)
Good to hear! :)

I haven't read the books. They are fan-fiction to me.
Have you seen the films, or the actor, Mark Williams, who plays as you? Have you seen any muggle movies?
TreacleTartlet March 7th, 2010, 7:08 pm I was just sorting out my shed today and I have a lot of muggle things that I was going to take to the tip, but then I wondered if you would like them. There is an old lawn mower, sewing machine,TV digital box,and a video recorder. None of them work anymore, but if you would like them you are more than welcome to them.:)
Arthur Weasley March 7th, 2010, 9:47 pm Have you seen the films, or the actor, Mark Williams, who plays as you? Have you seen any muggle movies?I have seen the “Harry Potter” movies. Mark Williams is not too bad. I have not seen any other films though. Are there any muggle movies you would recommend I see?I was just sorting out my shed today and I have a lot of muggle things that I was going to take to the tip, but then I wondered if you would like them. I look forward to taking them apart and seeing how I could charm...er, how I could modify them!

lovegoodfan001 May 4th, 2010, 12:32 am Hello, Arthur.
How did you feel when you had that row with Percy? Did you end up feeling guilty?
If you are interested in flying things like helicopters and airplanes, I think you should try the Air Force.
Who is your favorite grandchild? Do you even have one? What one do you think is most like you?
Frogki June 3rd, 2010, 8:37 pm Hello Mr. Weasley... Is there a question you have about muggles at the moment? If so, I'd be more than happy to answer it....
Astrognash July 15th, 2010, 3:08 am Hello, Mr. Weasley!
I was wondering, did you ever enchant another flying car?
LordVoldkins September 11th, 2010, 9:23 pm Dear Mr. weasley
Did you ever find out the function of a rubber duck?
Arthur Weasley September 20th, 2010, 10:27 am Hello, Arthur.
How did you feel when you had that row with Percy? Did you end up feeling guilty?
Well I was frustrated that Percy was so stubborn but no I've never felt guilty.
If you are interested in flying things like helicopters and airplanes, I think you should try the Air Force.
AirForce?
Who is your favorite grandchild? Do you even have one? What one do you think is most like you?
I don't pick and choose among them, I love them all.
Hello, Mr. Weasley!
I was wondering, did you ever enchant another flying car?
I tried, but Molly keeps a close watch over me
Dear Mr. weasley
Did you ever find out the function of a rubber duck?
Yes Harry explained it to me
