Hes June 10th, 2008, 10:10 am Before we start, pay attention to this. Everyone here knows Professor Slughorn, so you know that Slugorn has certain needs and wants.
Do you have a good supplier of crystallized pineapple? Or any other delicious food? You have? Good!
Well then, Professor Slughorn will be prepared to answer all your questions and if you have special talents, connections or just a delicious bribe, he might be prepared to introduce you to some important wizard folk.
Yoana July 3rd, 2008, 12:11 pm Professor Slughorn, I would like to ask whether Severus Snape was ever a favourite of yours? I know he lacked connections and was unpopular at school, but he was remarkably talanted and overall brilliant, and you seem to value this. Thank you.
firefly20angel July 3rd, 2008, 2:54 pm We know you had a soft spot for Lily, but were the marauder in your slug club? They were popular, talented (James and Sirius were described as some of the most talented students in their year) and they would probably have some connections.

He was excellent at Potions, I have agree with that. He never seemed to be very interested in my little parties though.

I did invite them but for reasons unknown to me they never seemed to be particularly interested :(
ronjalina July 6th, 2008, 8:30 pm Prof. Slughorn, what exactly did you need Aragog's poison for that you retrieved at it's funeral? No blame, just being curious. :D
Professor Slughorn July 19th, 2008, 3:51 pm Prof. Slughorn, what exactly did you need Aragog's poison for that you retrieved at it's funeral? No blame, just being curious. :D The venom is so rare that is is worth a hundred galleons a pint. My salary as a teacher was not much, you know. I enjoy my little luxuries, after all.
GemmaBlack July 19th, 2008, 4:21 pm Professor? Can you tell me about Horcrux ?:evil:
snapegirl July 19th, 2008, 4:24 pm Exactly how do you make Horcruxes? :D
*slids you a box of crystallized pineapple*
GemmaBlack July 19th, 2008, 4:42 pm yeah sir, Tell us, go on... go on... Pineapple sir?
firefly20angel July 19th, 2008, 10:32 pm Although I would never make a Horcrux, perhaps I'm too much of a goody-goody, I mean, I can't even rip my soul in half. Anyways, even so, I would be interested to know more about Horcruxes
hopefulgirl86 July 25th, 2008, 11:24 pm Did you ever notice that there was Polyjuice potion missing after you lesson with the sixth years?
leah49 July 26th, 2008, 12:20 am I know you play favorites, so who was your favorite student of all time?
Professor Slughorn August 1st, 2008, 12:21 pm Professor? Can you tell me about Horcrux ?:evil:It was a great mistake to ever say anything about horcruxes.
Exactly how do you make Horcruxes? :D
*slids you a box of crystallized pineapple* You brought my favourite snack. Dear girl, I am afraid I will not tell anyone about horcruxes ever again.
yeah sir, Tell us, go on... go on... Pineapple sir?Not even for crystallized pineapple.
Although I would never make a Horcrux, perhaps I'm too much of a goody-goody, I mean, I can't even rip my soul in half. Anyways, even so, I would be interested to know more about Horcruxes  All you need to know about them is that many lives were lost because one man made many horcruxes.
Did you ever notice that there was Polyjuice potion missing after you lesson with the sixth years?I never paid any attention. The house elves were supposed to clean up after my classes.
I know you play favorites, so who was your favorite student of all time? Lily Evans was my favourite. Her son was a fine lad, too.
its_my_life August 3rd, 2008, 1:28 am Professor Slughorn I think you made a wise decision in returning to Hogwarts as potions professor. What do you think?
Muggle_Magic August 14th, 2008, 6:16 am Dear Professor Slughorn, Cedric Diggory asked me, as one of his campaign workers, to enquire whether you would be interested in being his running mate in the Ministerial elections?
He specifically stressed that we ask you.
As time is short, we would be very grateful for a prompt response.
I'm pretty sure we can arrange for a steady supply of crystallized pineapples. ;)

Well, it was quite a dangerous step in the end, but I did play my role in the downfall of Lord Voldemort. Many people have shown me their gratitude for my help in the defeat.

Oh dear, what a shame that I didn't see this before, I've been away on a little trip to the Bahamas, I was invited by a dear friend.
The offer of pineapple is very welcome though.
TerrierMom September 19th, 2008, 1:39 pm Dear Professor Slughorn,
You were very brave and an admirable wizard the night Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort. Leading the underage students to safety, then rounding up all those reinforcements to lead back to the battle. In your emerald pajamas no less! You helped turn the tide of battle that night, along with the rest of the reinforcements, the Centaurs, and the Hogwarts House Elves. Even those such as myself (can't decide if I am just a Muggle or an especially ungifted witch, since after 4 years of study at this virtual Hogwarts, I am still just a 2nd year) commend you. Your contribution is indeed impressive. How about other Slytherins, though. Did some of the older students return to help fight at your side as well. I find it difficult to believe that they ALL ran scared or ran to Voldie's side that night. Surely some of them shared your sense of doing what is right rather than what is easy. In honor of your accomplishments, I can offer this. I work near a very nice Muggle gourmet food shop; just let me know what you'd like and I'll pick it up for you. The store where I work as a Pharmacy Technician (basically it means I help Master Potionmakers make their magic) has an excellent supply of fancy chocolates as well.
EvilFrog October 6th, 2008, 11:11 pm Dear Professor Slughorn,
I just wanted to commend you on your disguise as an armchair. It was truly inspired, and I hope to one day be as creatively gifted as yourself.
Cheers,
Jen

I am always looking for talented people for my Slug Club. Your appreciation of my brave efforts the night of the final battle has impressed me. Now that you have become a Third Year, you are eligible for consideration. I was able to return with many Slytherin students. But for some reason, my additional heroic efforts were not chronicled by our esteemed author. Her oversight has caused many hard feelings among the Slytherins. I do hope she edits her tome one day.
As you know, I love crystallized pineapple. My supply has run shockingly low.

Cheers,
JenThe armchair was brilliant, of course. I have been able to change into many interesting shapes. My favorite is to change into a portrait. Then I can follow them as they walk across the room. People always think that the eyes of a portrait are following thim. When I change into one, I really make them nervous.

Good to know about the Slytherins! I always knew they had it in them. I was ever so pleased when the esteemed Jo Rowling finally began to show the good and bad sides to all of the Hogwarts hosues and students. One dimension is really quite boring. Here's a package of crystallized pineapple, and another of other crystallized fruits. Also try these chocolates. The Potions Master at my job bought the same kind for himself, another assistant and I today. He wanted to perk us up. It was just the 3 of us working today you see, but there should have been the Potions Master and 4 assistants, not 2. Anyway, I'd never had these particular chocolates before, but they are really quite delectable
FishEByrd November 18th, 2008, 9:34 pm Dear Prof. Slughorn,
Take care next time you turn yourself into an armchair. This video clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jl574hCH2yw) suggests that some people develop an irresistable urge to turn into armchairs.
Luna_Luvr55 December 26th, 2008, 6:37 am Dear Professor Slughorn,
Have you ever experienced any muggle sweets? I assure you, they are just as delectable as your crystallized pineapple. For instance, Jelly Beans are just like Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, without the occasional undesirable flavors. If you are ever interested, I have a large stock in my dormitory.
CissyBella January 3rd, 2009, 9:52 pm Professor Slughorn,
I know that this will probably seem rather odd, but I have a few questions concerning Tom riddle (none about Horcruxes, though).
1. Was Tom ever friends with Abraxas Malfoy? Did Abraxas help him become Voldemort?
2. Did Tom ever fancy Walburga Black?
3. Do you have any idea what was the turning point that made him decide to turn to the Dark Arts?
*looks around* Helooo? Professor Slughorn? Come out come out wherever you are. I have a nice crystallized pineapple tart for you. I think you'll like it

Also try these chocolates.Thank you kindly. :)Have you ever experienced any muggle sweets? I assure you, they are just as delectable as your crystallized pineapple. For instance, Jelly Beans are just like Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, without the occasional undesirable flavors. If you are ever interested, I have a large stock in my dormitory.I have tried some of Dumbledore’s lemon drops. They were good, but not as good as crystallized pineapple. I shall have to try these Jelly Beans.1. Was Tom ever friends with Abraxas Malfoy? Did Abraxas help him become Voldemort?
2. Did Tom ever fancy Walburga Black?
3. Do you have any idea what was the turning point that made him decide to turn to the Dark Arts?I do not like talking about Tom Riddle.
1. Yes, Abraxas did associate with Riddle. I am sure he helped Tom become Voldemort.
2. I don’t think Tom ever fancied anyone. You’d have to ask him though.
3. I am not sure there was a turning point, specifically. At a very young age Tom was headed down the dark path.
Jonnyboy March 8th, 2010, 11:01 pm Are there any Hufflepuffs that you are particularly fond of?
griffynclawjami June 6th, 2010, 11:18 pm I was wondering, since you invited Blaise Zabini to your little parties, how he turned out. He is one of my favorite characters, and I know if I was at Hogwarts I would have been severly infatuated with him. So how was he as a student?
Professor Slughorn September 18th, 2010, 10:01 am Are there any Hufflepuffs that you are particularly fond of?
Well Nymphadora Tonks was quite an interesting witch. A bit clumsy of course but she was a talented auror.
I was wondering, since you invited Blaise Zabini to your little parties, how he turned out. He is one of my favorite characters, and I know if I was at Hogwarts I would have been severly infatuated with him. So how was he as a student?
Mr Zabini has a lot of powerful connections or rather had since the Battle of Hogwarts his family has fallen on hard times. He was a promising student but he didn't consider academic achievement his top priority.
