Nadia July 20th, 2008, 6:04 am Sirius Black, a member of the Marauders, is here to answer your questions! Do you want to know about his bike? His family life... Or lack thereof? Maybe you're interested in knowing about his life in Azkaban, too? Well then, ask him!
Kimagine July 21st, 2008, 7:37 pm I Love You!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE US!!!!!!
Seriously, Man, you really ought to look around a bit before you get hit with a curse. There are dangerous things in that place...
Did I mention that you are the coolest thing since butterbeer?
Poor little puppy. Come hither and let me scratch you befind the ears.
ignisia July 21st, 2008, 7:54 pm Dear Sirius,
Does Advantage™ really work?
Hugs,
Iggy
PureBloodGirl July 21st, 2008, 7:57 pm Don't listen to her Sirius, she loves Snape. I LOVE YOU SIRIUS!!!!! You should have just let Harry die and fight Voldemort yourself. You would have done so well!
Did you ever date anyone while you were in school? Anyone who was mentioned in the books?
Kimagine July 21st, 2008, 7:59 pm I think it does work... last time I saw him, there were no crawly things in evidence aside from the occasional reporter...
Sirius, why in the world would you have a Mod channel you? And why that particular mod?? Just wondering... :D

"Snape's third choice"? Really??!
Don't listen to her Sirius, she loves Snape. I LOVE YOU SIRIUS!!!!! You should have just let Harry die and fight Voldemort yourself. You would have done so well!
Did you ever date anyone while you were in school? Anyone who was mentioned in the books?
I would have never sacrificed my godson like that!
Let's say I've been around a bit...
I think it does work... last time I saw him, there were no crawly things in evidence aside from the occasional reporter...
Sirius, why in the world would you have a Mod channel you? And why that particular mod?? Just wondering... :D
What is this mod thing you speak of?
ignisia July 21st, 2008, 8:20 pm "Snape's third choice"? Really??!
ADD much, Sirius?
And yes. He'll say "last choice", but why split hairs?
jenny_d_b July 21st, 2008, 8:36 pm Hi Padfoot!
1. I wouldn't think Hermione was a person you'd like very much, you'd think she was a bit uptight and cared too much about school - but you seemed to like her, was it just because she was Harry's friend, because she was good with magic or because of her bravery?
2. Did you ever try out for Quidditch? I can imagine you as a chaser, because then all attention would be on you when you scored and you could even've become match winner...
Kimagine July 21st, 2008, 8:45 pm Hello there... It's nice to know I have people who really see me and appreciate me :eyebrows:
Oh, I SO appreciate you.
Let's say I've been around a bit...
I'll bet you have, you sly dog...
What is this mod thing you speak of?
Never mind. She has left us. At last!!!
*cackles maniacally*
RIPFRED July 21st, 2008, 9:41 pm SIRIUS! I LOVE you! I got Sirius Radio (Sirius Radio is kind of like WWN) just because it had your name in it!
firefly20angel July 21st, 2008, 10:34 pm Hey Sirius, I have to admit to being one of your fangirls :lol: Ron will always be first in my fangirl priorities but- you're way up there. I was actually in a marauder fangirl fight once...all in good fun, of course :rotfl:
Anyways, on to the questions:
What was your reaction to when you found out Harry had the map? And that the twins had taken it from Filch?
If you get to choose your animagus form, why did you choose a dog and that breed to boot? And if you don't choose, were you happy to become a dog, and what animal did you think you would turn into?
Are you proud of Harry? Do you wish you would have had the chance to join him at the final battle?
I don't know how you would, but seeing as you have access to a computer...have you seen the Harry Potter movies? What's your opinion of them? Of Gary Oldman?
Beatifically July 21st, 2008, 10:44 pm MY DREAM COME TRUE!!
Sirius, will you marry me? :eyebrows:
PureBloodGirl July 21st, 2008, 10:50 pm Sirius, have you checked out the fan group for you? Do you like it? We just squee when we hear your name. Us fangirls anyways.
P.S. Will you marry me?
Beatifically July 21st, 2008, 10:51 pm P.S. Will you marry me?
Pfft, I called dibs first.
PureBloodGirl July 21st, 2008, 10:52 pm Pfft, I called dibs first.
Maybe he'll marry both of us. Just to let you know Sirius, I love you more!
Sirius Black July 21st, 2008, 10:54 pm What was your reaction to when you found out Harry had the map? And that the twins had taken it from Filch?
I was properly amused, actually.
If you get to choose your animagus form, why did you choose a dog and that breed to boot? And if you don't choose, were you happy to become a dog, and what animal did you think you would turn into?
You don't get to choose your form, but I was pretty pleased to see I was a big, black dog.
Are you proud of Harry? Do you wish you would have had the chance to join him at the final battle?
He is a great man, I couldn't feel more proud of him.
I don't know how you would, but seeing as you have access to a computer...have you seen the Harry Potter movies? What's your opinion of them? Of Gary Oldman?
I've heard about them, but I didn't have the chance to watch them yet. I heard this Oldman guy is really good at what he does, though.
MY DREAM COME TRUE!!
Sirius, will you marry me? :eyebrows:
Hello, cute ;) I'm sorry, marriage is not really my thing...
Kimagine July 21st, 2008, 11:47 pm I will take care of him, ladies. He is too old for you.
Klio July 22nd, 2008, 1:02 am ohhhh.... Sirius.....
I am simply speechless. I never thought we'd get a chance to talk to you!!
I hope you are having a good time wherever you are! You deserve it to make up for all those bad times you had!
leah49 July 22nd, 2008, 1:07 am Sirius, is your middle name Lee?
LoveWeasleys July 22nd, 2008, 1:42 am Will you marry me?
arithmancer July 22nd, 2008, 3:22 am Asked and answered. :p :D

Beatifically July 22nd, 2008, 6:26 am Hello, cute I'm sorry, marriage is not really my thing...
      You called me cute! ZOMG!!!! *hyperventilates*
*points and laughs at Sirius fangirls* :elaugh: He called me cute! I win.
 Anyway, Sirius. :( Marriage isn't your thing? Well, how about a date? :eyebrows: Maybe I can change your mind about the marriage thing.
wickedwickedboy July 22nd, 2008, 8:53 am All right, time for a little man to man conversation in this thread. Although you can't blame the girls, your best buddies are both hitched up with wives; being the only available male you must be used to the attention.
My question is concerning the sports bars in the afterworld. This is of great concern to me as I was telling your good friend Lily, because when I arrive, I plan to make that a BIG part of my 'next great adventure'. So are there many bars showing all of the world sports (wizard and muggle?). Also, if you would be so kind, I know you guys have the inside on upcoming games - can you possibly drop a hint as to who will win the National Basketball Championship next year in the USA? I could really use the help when I enter the office pool - it isn't exactly cheating - okay it is, but if you don't tell, I won't! So what do you say, cop a guy a break?
houseelf25 July 22nd, 2008, 10:04 am What do you miss most about being alive?
Sirius Black July 22nd, 2008, 8:51 pm Sirius.

How do I feel? Used to it

I'd love to, but there's that little problem of me being, you know... Dead.

Sorry mate, but we don't have access to that kind of info here!
What do you miss most about being alive?
Errr, being alive, mostly.
PureBloodGirl July 22nd, 2008, 11:03 pm Sirius just to tell you, you are AWSOME!
If I die, will you date me?
Have you seen the Harry Potter muggle movies? Do you think they made them accurate? Do you think the man who plays you in the muggle movies plays a good you? If you haven't you should get to watching them. I hope they have muggle things beyond the veil.
Sirius my username is PureBloodGirl on behalf of your blood status. Blood status doesn't mean anything to me either, but all the good you-related usernames were taken and this was all I could come up with. I hope it doesn't offend you considering that you hated your pureblood parents.
wickedwickedboy July 22nd, 2008, 11:25 pm Sorry mate, but we don't have access to that kind of info here!
Well darn, it figures, but I hadda give it try.
So let's talk motorbikes. What gave you the idea to make the thing fly? Did you enjoy flying around on it as much as ground use? How is flying what with avoiding all the birds and things that muggles get up in the air like balloons and airplanes? Did you ever get spotted by a muggle airplane pilot? If so, tell us the funny tale.
Sirius Black July 22nd, 2008, 11:31 pm Oh that motorbike was so fine! James and I used to have so much fun on that.
But the er. . mods here told me I had to keep things family friendly so I'd better not share too many details.
Professor Snape July 22nd, 2008, 11:41 pm Ah yes you and your famous escapades... tell me do you enjoy being scratched behind the ears dog?
Kimagine July 22nd, 2008, 11:46 pm Snape, go away. Wash your hair or something. I am sure there is some sort of potion for that... or is it beyond your abilities? Maybe beyond your notice?
:rotfl:
Sirius Black July 22nd, 2008, 11:54 pm I'm not quite sure why old Snivelpants thinks calling me a dog is an insult. I think he's a little pumped up from finding out someone besides Wormtail actually likes him.
Professor Snape July 22nd, 2008, 11:59 pm I detest you...
Potter_fan July 23rd, 2008, 12:05 am so can you still transform into a dog? I wouldn't THINK that would stop but you never know....
I thought it was such a shame that only 2 years after you and Harry finally meet you died...I almost didn't finish the series....
hplova15165 July 23rd, 2008, 12:06 am Sirius! I LOVE YOU!
Why did you leave us? I cried when you died! But I'm happy that we can at least talk to you here. Extremely happy. Ecstatic. :D
I am overloaded with questions... first: The motorbike incident with James. Who were the people on the broomsticks? Second: I love you. A lot. Third: Did you suggest the name Elvendork to Lily when Harry was born? It's unisex, you know. Fourth: Have you ever been in love (Besides with me, of course. Wait, DON'T ANSWER THAT... let me dream)? Fifth: Are you happy? I really hope you are.
I detest you...
The feeling is mutual. Trust me.
DixieWitch July 23rd, 2008, 2:05 am I detest you...
I'm not quite sure why old Snivelpants thinks calling me a dog is an insult. I think he's a little pumped up from finding out someone besides Wormtail actually likes him.
Seriously, dudes. Let it go. Anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering...*takes up Yoda mantra* Y'all should know that.
Sirius: So do you think you've matured at all post-mortem? I'm not being smart-alecky, it's an honest question.
wickedwickedboy July 23rd, 2008, 3:07 am Hey no misquoting Yoda!! FEAR leads to anger leads to hate leads to suffering... and Sirius is Fearless! :D
Oh that motorbike was so fine! James and I used to have so much fun on that.
But the er. . mods here told me I had to keep things family friendly so I'd better not share too many details.
Aw now that is truly a pity. That would have really livened things up I am sure. So was it propelled through the air by magic or did you use traditional muggle aerodynamics? I have to imagine that was magic that saw it flying through the streets so fast the policeman was too embarrassed to admit the actual speed it was going to himself... I love bikes, I would love YOUR bike. Wonder if Harry is up for selling it?
I'm not quite sure why old Snivelpants thinks calling me a dog is an insult. I think he's a little pumped up from finding out someone besides Wormtail actually likes him.
:agree:
Yoana July 23rd, 2008, 10:29 am I'm not quite sure why old Snivelpants thinks calling me a dog is an insult. I think he's a little pumped up from finding out someone besides Wormtail actually likes him.
Actually, judging by the numbers of pages in his thread and everyone else's in this section of the Quibbler; and of number of members and messages in his appreciation groups as compared to other characters', he is better liked than anyone else from the wizarding world.
Yes, Sirius, even you. I suppose you must be the pumped one. :relax:
Rayven July 23rd, 2008, 10:35 am Hello Sirius
Okay questions about the motorbike............ what was it ...... a Harley Davidson, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha??
What cc was it??
And..........
Did you ever do the Chelsea Cruise (muggles showing off their motorbikes and doing silly stunts on Chelsea Bridge)??
If so......... you pick up any cute girls there *winks*
RIPFRED July 23rd, 2008, 6:35 pm How does it feel knowing, that Snape has more fangirls than you? I love you, though, but I love Severus more.
firefly20angel July 23rd, 2008, 6:50 pm I really don't really understand the whole Snape fangirl thing, I mean, sure, he played a cool role in the series, he was what everyone kept theorizing about until book seven, he's played by Alan Rickman and he unintentionally funny (not to mention, fun to make fun of) ...but I never have understood the fangirl aspect of it all. Siiigh. I may be in the minority of the fangirl population though....
PureBloodGirl July 23rd, 2008, 7:01 pm I'm not quite sure why old Snivelpants thinks calling me a dog is an insult. I think he's a little pumped up from finding out someone besides Wormtail actually likes him.
I think calling you a dog is a comment. You are a very cute dog! I am going to name the next dog that I get either Padfoot or Snuffles after you.
Sirius, you haven't answered my questions from before. Please do.
I do have one more question. Was your motorcycle a Harley or a Honda or was it neither?
Beatifically July 24th, 2008, 2:19 am Actually, judging by the numbers of pages in his thread and everyone else's in this section of the Quibbler; and of number of members and messages in his appreciation groups as compared to other characters', he is better liked than anyone else from the wizarding world.
Yes, Sirius, even you. I suppose you must be the pumped one.
Or so you think. While there may be more on this forum, he isn't the most well-liked in the whole fandom!
Sirius . . . James says you're going on a date. :upset: :upset: :upset: WITH WHO?!?!!?!
*sniffs* At least you're still good looking.

Actually, there are many many more Sirius fangirls, they are just too busy writing fanfiction and drawing Sirius fanart to come and ask questions. Siriusly. :)
Yoana July 24th, 2008, 7:25 am Actually, there are many many more Sirius fangirls, they are just too busy writing fanfiction and drawing Sirius fanart to come and ask questions. Siriusly. :)

RIPFRED July 24th, 2008, 4:20 pm Actually, there are many many more Sirius fangirls, they are just too busy writing fanfiction and drawing Sirius fanart to come and ask questions. Siriusly. :)
But, why would they want to write fanfiction and draw fanart about him, when they can talk to Sirius, right here?
wimblemimble July 24th, 2008, 9:42 pm Or so you think. While there may be more on this forum, he isn't the most well-liked in the whole fandom!
Actually, almost every HP related forum I've ever been on has a large faction of Severus fangirls. It isn't just some sort of strange occurance only here at CoS. Clearly, Severus is just far too irresistable!
ignisia July 24th, 2008, 9:44 pm There are also a billion and one Snape fansites, but I've only heard of Immeritus for Sirius. (Psst! Sirius! You should visit there too. They'll love you!)
I think the Marauders as a group are are well-liked by a very large part of fandom, and not just one Marauder...at least, that's what I've noticed. :hmm:
RIPFRED July 24th, 2008, 9:46 pm I agree with ignisia. And Snape does have a billion and one fansites.
Kimagine July 24th, 2008, 9:54 pm Snape had a lot more book time. He had more exposure and publicity. :D
I lurves Sirius.
Beatifically July 24th, 2008, 10:34 pm Marauders are well liked by the fandom at large. :agree: Lily and James has dominated most fanfiction sites, actually. Mugglenet Fanfiction, for one, has Lily and James as the most popular romance pairing. The Marauder era is incredibly popular too within the fanfiction world. Forums aren't the only outlet for fans. ;) On fanfiction I've seen way more stuff with the Marauders and/or James/Lily than anything with Snape.
PureBloodGirl July 25th, 2008, 1:38 am Why are you people mentioning the forbidden Snape on this thread? Have I mentioned he is FORBIDDEN? Because he is. This thread is purely for asking Sirius questions (and commenting on his hotness!) :eyebrows:
wimblemimble July 25th, 2008, 1:54 am (and commenting on his hotness!)
Then may I comment that I believe his 'hotness' is lacking? :p
PureBloodGirl July 25th, 2008, 2:10 am Ugh...why must the Snape lovers come on here (please don't call me a hypocrite just read my blog entry and you'll see how I love Snape and Sirius).
_LoonyLovegood_ July 25th, 2008, 2:18 am Ugh...why must the Snape lovers come on here (please don't call me a hypocrite just read my blog entry and you'll see how I love Snape and Sirius).
Even if you love them both, it's still hypocritical. :p A better question would be why Sirius-haters come on this thread. :D
PureBloodGirl July 25th, 2008, 3:18 am Very good question. I don't know.
Sirius, I hope you don't mind, but I stole some of your firewhisky because me and my friends are having a party in the Shreiking Shack. Want to come and party with us?
RIPFRED July 25th, 2008, 3:15 pm Ugh...why must the Snape lovers come on here (please don't call me a hypocrite just read my blog entry and you'll see how I love Snape and Sirius).
I love Snape and Sirius to, I just love Snape more.
So, Sirius, how are you?
wimblemimble July 25th, 2008, 3:35 pm A better question would be why Sirius-haters come on this thread. :D
And a better answer would be: for the same reason Snape-haters go to the Severus thread. Because it is fun to poke fun at these people, rather than simply swoon and *squee* in their presence.
Besides, to be perfectly honest, I think Severus is more annoyed with his fans than those who don't like him.
_LoonyLovegood_ July 25th, 2008, 4:00 pm And a better answer would be: for the same reason Snape-haters go to the Severus thread. Because it is fun to poke fun at these people, rather than simply swoon and *squee* in their presence.
Besides, to be perfectly honest, I think Severus is more annoyed with his fans than those who don't like him.
 I know. I was just saying that it, in my opinion, is more logical to ask why those who hate Sirius are in here than why people who love Snape are, since people can love both Snape and Sirius. ;) Personally, I have no problem with anyone who wants to be in here being in here. :D
It seems that way.
jenny_d_b July 25th, 2008, 4:52 pm Okay, I'm a girl, but I'm not very fan-girly. Am I the only one thinking Sirius is a bit too old? I mean, just imagine Sirius sleeping with Hermione or Ginny... The thought its just... He would never do that.
Okay, I know you didn't answer my last questions, but I'll ask a couple of questions anyway: Please answer honestly, did you ever have a little crush on Lily yourself? I don't know why, I've just been thinking you did. And have your feelings regarding Snivellus changed now that you've realized he's a good guy somewhere deep below that greasy skin and unwashed hair, or do the two of you still fight in the afterlife?
PureBloodGirl July 25th, 2008, 5:23 pm Jenny d b, it's just an obsessive crush that most of us have on here. That's all. Except for Kim. She loves Sirius, but she loves Gary Oldman better. Although I do think he is a bit to old for her too.
Pearl_Took July 25th, 2008, 5:38 pm He's not too old for me. :eyebrows:
And motorbikes are cool. Especially magical ones. :D
_LoonyLovegood_ July 25th, 2008, 8:38 pm Okay, I'm a girl, but I'm not very fan-girly. Am I the only one thinking Sirius is a bit too old? I mean, just imagine Sirius sleeping with Hermione or Ginny... The thought its just... He would never do that.
I don't usually like older guys, but I make exceptions. :relax:

Well, there IS Marauder-era Sirius, too... :D
As far as I am concerned... well, I am 36, so Sirius seems just right for me, almost getting a little young at this point
leah49 July 26th, 2008, 12:25 am Sirius, what do you think of all the fangirls? You aren't afraid of them like Ron is, are you?
Also, have you ever accidentally misspelled the word "serious" as "sirius"?
hplova15165 July 28th, 2008, 6:03 am I think calling you a dog is a comment. You are a very cute dog! I am going to name the next dog that I get either Padfoot or Snuffles after you.
I have the same intention! I'm going to buy a black lab and name him Padfoot. It's such an adorable name! :)
Springs another question... how did you come up with the name Snuffles?
Well, there IS Marauder-era Sirius, too... :D
That's the guy that I fell for.
And that question from Jenny D... please answer it! I've wondered if you ever liked Lily. She mentioned you dipping her hair in ink on the first week of school... an inky hair lock of affection, I wonder?
Kimagine July 29th, 2008, 3:30 am VOTE FOR SIRIUS BLACK!! NEW MINISTER OF MAGIC NEEDED!! ADD YOUR VOICED HERE! (http://www.cosforums.com/showthread.php?t=117511)
firefly20angel July 29th, 2008, 3:54 am I want to vote for him but- urgh, I hate politics. SIRIUS would be awesome as minister but Neville and Harry and Arthur and Luna.....even Snape-a-doodle! I can't choose!

Sirius, Sirius, Sirius, Sirius, Sirius!
*gives cookies*
Beatifically July 29th, 2008, 3:59 am Sirius, you know I still am loyal to you even though I already nominated Harry, right? You'd still be happy if Harry became minister, right? I mean, he's your godson! :(
:upset:
Kimagine July 29th, 2008, 6:13 am That is one good argument, honey... :lol:P
Pearl_Took July 29th, 2008, 1:15 pm Sirius darlin', you don't need a desk job.
How about a spin on your motorbike instead? ;)
firefly20angel July 30th, 2008, 12:05 am Sirius, Sirius, Sirius, Sirius, Sirius!
*gives cookies*
Cookies?!
Hmmm, that's a good bribe!
-eats cookies-
But I'm not convinced :p maybe Pearl is right, he might not be a desk job kind of wizard...I have to think about this. And Iggy's trying to bribe me against voting for Sirius...maybe I should give up and vote for Voldemort...:err: or not.
Kimagine July 30th, 2008, 12:06 am We still need 5 more people to nominate Sirius in the thread. Hurry, hurry!!! :D
PureBloodGirl July 30th, 2008, 12:15 am Sirius would you want to be Minister of Magic? I don't think that it would be compleately a desk job. Since you're a ghost maybe you'll get to do things that living Ministers never got to do. I can't think of what, but whatever. With you as the Minister of Magic just think of how fun and great you could make the wizarding world.
PerfectDystopia July 30th, 2008, 2:57 pm Sirius, have you and Regulus made up yet in the afterlife?
Kimagine July 30th, 2008, 5:25 pm I bet he has...especially now that he knows that he gave his life to take Voldemort down. See what a great guy he is? He should definitely be the next Minister. :D

Sirius Black July 30th, 2008, 10:27 pm Okay, I'm a girl, but I'm not very fan-girly. Am I the only one thinking Sirius is a bit too old? I mean, just imagine Sirius sleeping with Hermione or Ginny... The thought its just... He would never do that. I would have loved to meet you when I was at Hogwarts.
Okay, I know you didn't answer my last questions, but I'll ask a couple of questions anyway: Please answer honestly, did you ever have a little crush on Lily yourself? I don't know why, I've just been thinking you did. And have your feelings regarding Snivellus changed now that you've realized he's a good guy somewhere deep below that greasy skin and unwashed hair, or do the two of you still fight in the afterlife?Sorry about the earlier questions, there are just too many right now. I never fancied Lily. She was just not my type. She was just a little too good for me, if you know what I mean.
Sirius, what do you think of all the fangirls? You aren't afraid of them like Ron is, are you?
Also, have you ever accidentally misspelled the word "serious" as "sirius"?I love the fangirls. It reminds me of my former "glory" days.
There were about one million jokes about "serious". So I never took it too seriously.
I have the same intention! I'm going to buy a black lab and name him Padfoot. It's such an adorable name! :)
Springs another question... how did you come up with the name Snuffles? Cute name, isn't it?
Sirius, you know I still am loyal to you even though I already nominated Harry, right? You'd still be happy if Harry became minister, right? I mean, he's your godson! :(
:upset:Harry has a great advantage over me. He is young, he is a great person and he's alive. But I have some good experience, too. And I have great people skills. :tu:
Sirius darlin', you don't need a desk job.
How about a spin on your motorbike instead? ;)I would love to take my motorbike out once again. It was great to zoom around, especially with a girl on the back who loved the thrill of going faster than we should.
Sirius, have you and Regulus made up yet in the afterlife? We made up after Peter was uncovered in the Shrieking Shack. We had a lot of time to get back to theh good old days during the time we spent working with the OotP, helping keep Harry alive.
I need someone to drool over! :upset:I never liked the drooling part of being Padfoot, you know.
ignisia July 30th, 2008, 10:31 pm YAY! A quibbler character, finally! Even if it's you.

wickedwickedboy July 30th, 2008, 10:42 pm :rotfl: You're too funny. I bet you like the girls drooling over you, though, right? :eyebrows:
I have to ask; do you mean that literally or figuratively? :rotfl:.
Sirius, my good man, do you mean to say you would actually enjoy being Minister of Magic? Wouldn't you find it a bit boring, shuffling papers and negotiating with foreign diplowizards and such?
Sirius Black July 30th, 2008, 10:46 pm YAY! A quibbler character, finally! Even if it's you.
Psst! Regulus, not Remus.Nice to see you, :err:.
Oh, yes, Regulus. Of course we made up. He sacrificed his life to try and stop Voldemort. I couldn't have been prouder of my brother once I found out the truth. All those years wasted, not knowing what he had done. It was a shame my mother never found out what her precious Regulus had done. He probably would have been blasted off the Tapestry, too, come to think of it.
 :rotfl: When you're in a good mood. :rotfl: :err:You try being in Azkaban and Grimmauld Place and see how chipper you get. :grumble:

_LoonyLovegood_ July 30th, 2008, 10:46 pm I have to ask; do you mean that literally or figuratively? :rotfl:.

Rita Skeeter July 30th, 2008, 11:05 pm Hello, Mr. Black, Rita Skeeter for The Daily Prophet here. I've got a question for you... Do you really think an ex-convict like yourself should be able to run for Minister for Magic? Don't you think that'd set the wrong example among our young witches and wizards?
Kimagine July 30th, 2008, 11:05 pm Sirius, you know I just adore you, right? Is there any particular angle you want your campaign for Minister of Magic to emphasize?
RITA!! You are a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad woman. Shoo!
_LoonyLovegood_ July 30th, 2008, 11:15 pm I would add that you'd get all the ladies, but you should only be getting one lady!

Bequiet Rita! Can't you see nobody likes you because you're mean, snotty, rude, and make up lies and twist people's words to make a good story. Sirius Black was chucked into Askaban for a murder he didn't commit. Can't you give a dead guy a break?
wickedwickedboy July 31st, 2008, 2:04 am It's all about the perks of the job, isn't it mate?
Never underestimate the perks! I plead guilty to poorly considering the perks that might arise with you in office, my bad.
Well if you are into the idea, what do you think about having Harry as a running mate? That way you could let him do all the paper shuffling while you enjoy the perks. Of course you should probably keep that under your hat until the votes are cast. Now some would say that I am a poor political advisor, but as you can see from my user name, I have only the best interests of the wizard world at heart.
PureBloodGirl July 31st, 2008, 2:07 am Sirius, are you happy that you are currently running against Snape? That way you get to kick his butt.

Sirius, so far for Minister of Magic it is you versus Severus Snape. What do you think of your opponent now that the world knows he was good all along? What do you mean, good all along. What do you mean, good all along. What about his activity as a Death Eater? What kind of skeletons in the closet could there be there? And what really happened to Emmeline Vance?
It is true; but never fret, these things tend to come out during the election campaigns. If you are aware of any of the skeletons, they would likely be of great help to your staff - or heck, make um up, whose to know?.
Harry has his own campaign to worry about. But I do need a good running mate. I am sure that the campaign staff could come up with someone who would do quite nicely.
It is actually to this bit I have come to respond. At present, I am backing Harry because after his vanquishing of Voldemort, I feel the wizard world would be wary of crossing him as minister and things would likely move along quite smoothly. However, if Harry's campaign fails, I do think he would make an excellent running mate for you - and you'd pick up all of his supporters. So I guess this message is as much for you as your staff (hint).
I am looking forward to a campaign against Snape.
That’s the spirit – oh, wait, I guess I’m the spirit, aren’t I. No matter.
:rotfl: a spirit full of spirits judging by your earlier post; I may have to re-think my backing of Harry at this point, you seem to be my kind of candidate.
Tell me, are you planning to legalize flying motorbikes as a part of your Ministry operations? That might just swing the balance for me. :tu:

Potter_fan August 1st, 2008, 5:25 pm you don't seem to be the "desk job" type Sirius....
Kimagine August 1st, 2008, 5:45 pm That's just it!! A lousy Minister sits on his heiney all day shaking hands with people and having lunch with folks. Sirius would be out there in the weeds, as they say, seeing what needs to be done and actually DOING IT!! He is a man of action, not one who glad-hands people as the Magical World goes to heck in a handbasket. :D
wickedwickedboy August 1st, 2008, 7:49 pm I’m sure that my staff would be more than up to the challenge. After all, isn’t that what campaigns are all about? I loved that motorbike. Dude, you are making this difficult. Being a part of your staff is slowly becoming much too difficult for a person like me to resist. Harry is such a cool kid, I really want to support him, but I can tell already that your campaign is going to be one great laugh after another...um... defection imminent.
So here's a thought question for ya; what made you decide to sluff off the "Black family values" of blood purism and Voldy worship when you were a little kid? You seemed prime to do so on the train to Hogwarts.
Sirius Black August 1st, 2008, 10:37 pm So here's a thought question for ya; what made you decide to sluff off the "Black family values" of blood purism and Voldy worship when you were a little kid? You seemed prime to do so on the train to Hogwarts.
I think I was born a rebel, actually. I seemed to always be at odds with my mother. She never liked my favourite uncle, Alphard, because he had different ideas of what it meant to be a pureblood. I think that by the time I got on the Hogwarts Express, I was anxious to get as far away from them as possible. I knew they expected me to be in Slytherin, and I didn’t want to do the expected. That's about it, I guess. I think I got blasted off the Tapestry some time after that, if I recall properly. An admirable achievement, by the way.
Kimagine August 1st, 2008, 11:30 pm Sirius, how would you feel if Severus Snape was elected the new Minister of Magic?

I'll say it is and seeing as I have now...er um...defected , I shall suggest to the campaign manager this relevant slogan: "You can't blow off a candidate whose been blown off the Black Family Tapestry! A most admirable achievement"
Um...on consideration, that may require some adjustment; Nonetheless, I think the idea is definitely one that will boost the campaign. Let's see, you liked motorcycles, muggle girls in bikinis, firewhiskey, and large dogs. Those things will all work as favorable incentives for voters - at least if they are like me!. What else do you like or like to do that we can use as voter bait?

wickedwickedboy August 4th, 2008, 10:03 pm I would love to join you.
Well that is wizard, dude, only I'd have to ask if you could pick up the tab for the pizza and beer because, you know, law school is a bit expensive and my funds are - well all but non existent. :grumble:. But beer and pizza nights will definitely bring in that extra surge of voters I was hoping for! :tu:.
I had another brilliant idea I wanted to run by you. I noted that wizard robes are rather mundane looking. What do you think about chaning the 'look' of the Ministry. The women could were mini skirts or short shorts with heels and the men could wear colorful, open, button down shirts with sports shorts, socks and trainers. A kind of leave your robes at the door with your ego approach. What do you think?

A kind of leave your robes at the door with your ego approach. What do you think?I think ditching those fuddy old wizards robes are a brilliant idea. I'm sure that some people would find the change refreshing.
Rita Skeeter August 4th, 2008, 11:03 pm So, what exactly are you planning to do if you happen to win the elections? Your lack of experience cannot be ignored, Mr. Black. What can you bring to the Ministry that could improve things?
LumosPatronus August 5th, 2008, 11:28 am why do you, Rita skeeter, Pester people even after they're dead? surely there is a dodo alive somewhere that you can report on?

Rita Skeeter August 11th, 2008, 4:22 am During the years of Voldemort's attempted rein I fought, like many, against him. I remained loyal to The Order of the Phoenix, a resistance movement headed by the brilliant and experienced leader, wizard Albus Dumbledore, and my friends, who became my family. Being a part of the Order required swift thinking and an ability to adapt to a situation, qualities I can bring to the office of the Minister of Magic.
I believe the Ministry needs a fresh point of view in the fight to rebuild our community, to carry on the admirable job that Minister Shacklebolt has begun. His remarkable achievements in dispelling deeply buried prejudices are inspiring. I feel I can build on this, bringing new ideas and innovations to ensure the continuing stability of the Wizarding World and see that it remains free of self-styled Dark Lords.
If I am elected to this office I will strive to reform the legal system so that everyone can be assured of a fair, unbiased representation and that there is enough evidence to proceed before a full criminal trial is initiated.
I will give any necessary help in the research to cure lycanthropy, and will help ensure that persons thus afflicted will not feel like second-class citizens of the wizarding world. I will also continue with the current work in allowing non-wizards equal rights.
I may not have political experience but I do have experience of both life and death combined with the will and drive to succeed. Additionally, I have the support of many talented witches and wizards with whom I share an open, informed relationship, where counsel is encouraged. I think I am very qualified to lead the ministry in this positive direction and hope for your continued support.
Even though your words are very inspiring (and utopian, if you let me), I'm sure the wizarding community will need more than words from their leader. For example, are you informed about what's going on in the political world?
You also mention friends... Are any of those friends alive?
That brings me to my last question... Do you really think you can govern from behind a veil?
Lord Godric August 11th, 2008, 7:56 am Sirius, I have a question, you once were quoted as saying "If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals." It is common knowledge that you treated your family house elf with extreme disrespect - and doing so directly led to your -- well your death. What does this say about what you are like?

What's your favourite spell/jinx/curse?
Would you have ever liked teaching at Hogwarts? DADA perhaps?
Sirius Black November 18th, 2008, 5:32 pm What's your favourite spell/jinx/curse?
Would you have ever liked teaching at Hogwarts? DADA perhaps? There were so many spells I liked to use. Apparition was great for getting out of trouble quickly or rushing to the rescue. The Disillusionment Charm was great for hiding the Marauders during their adventures. It worked well for The Order, too. We were especially fond of using Muffliato when planning our Marauder’s adventures. We were pretty successful in keeping our activities quiet. Dumbledore never found out and he usually knows everything that happens at Hogwarts. We learned to be ready to use Protego whenever we wandered the halls at Hogwarts. You never knew when someone was going to throw a jinx at you.
I had some favorite jinxes, too. But I think we will keep those a secret. I got into plenty of trouble using them. Although, there were plenty of times when I got away with it, too.
I don’t think that I would have liked to be a teacher. It is a very important job and I don’t think I had the patience for it.

Kimagine November 20th, 2008, 4:11 am Sirius, I'd like to know whether you had a pet when you were at Hogwarts -- an owl or a cat, for instance. Somehow, I can picture you with a Kneazle, since you and Crookshanks seemed to hit it off so well... Isn't it atypical for a dog and a cat to get along as well as the two of you did?
For instance, I know of a dog person, very involved in this site, actually, who doesn't embrace kitties at all in a loving way and I doubt she could conceive of a big black doggie and a cat being friends...
Your answer will, I think, be most illuminating.
Oh, and I adore you, by the way. Just thought you should know.

Oh, and I adore you, by the way. Just thought you should know.I had an Owl at Hogwarts. My parents thought that it was the only appropriate animal to have while at school.
I love both cats and dogs. My time spent as a dog has broadened my view of what it means to be an animal and cats have earned my respect as a result of that.

Sirius, I've been meaning to ask: why do you suppose Buckbeak and you got along so well? Hagrid emphasized over and over that when you meet a Hippogriff, you have to follow certain strict behaviors or risk offending the beast. Yet, in your haste to escape the tower at Hogwarts, you didn't seem to have too much time for all of that, and yet Buckbeak allows you to take him far from his home, keep him in hiding, and even sequester him in a room for months at a time. Did you know him from your years at Hogwarts, or did you get along for some other reason?

I never knew Buckbeak before Harry and Hermione gave him to me on the Tower. But I think we were kindred spirits. Buckbeak seemed to sense that somehow. Animals have an amazing ability to empathize with humans. And I needed him, too, at that time.

What do you think of Teddy Lupin? :) Did you, while being in the Order in #12 G, ever think that your niece Tonks and best mate Remus would get married?
Do you like Teddy bears?:p
Sirius Black December 23rd, 2008, 6:00 pm What do you think of Teddy Lupin? :) Did you, while being in the Order in #12 G, ever think that your niece Tonks and best mate Remus would get married? Remus was rather shy when it came to girls. He somehow thought he just wasn't good enough for anyone. I figured that it would take a persistent female to get him to commit. Tonks made a good match for him. I'm sure Teddy inherited some of their finer qualities.

I wasn't in any hurry to get to the afterlife, but it has been a nice place to be.
The boggart thing is a hard one to answer. A person's boggart changes over time, as you know. When I was a child, it may have been a screaming banshee. It reminded me of Mum, which was scary enough. And then as I got older, it probably changed. I didn't have an occassion to see what it was, but in the later years I think my greatest fear would have been to lose Harry the way I lost James.
Sorry if somebody already asked these

Googlie January 15th, 2009, 12:48 pm Sirius I was just wondering, you seem to have a fascination for Muggles - You had motorbike that could fly (), posters of Muggle girls in bikini in your room. And btw how come you have the most number of fangirls among the Marauders?:eyebrows: though I do know exactly why!;) Muggles have many very interesting inventions. I loved the motorbike because it was a beatuful machine that could go faster than a broomstick. The poster of the Muggle girls in bikinis was something I really liked a lot as a teen . It also annoyed my mum to no end to see the Muggle poster instead of a typical Wizard one. She hated everything about Muggles and I was doing the typical teen rebellion thing. Besides, bikini-clad girls in Wizards posters don't always stay in the picture.
Anyway, have you ever read any Marauder era fan-fiction online? If so, what do you think about them? I have read a few pieces. Some of them are lovely depictions of what my real life was like. It is very nice to read them and remember all the good times I had with my friends. And some fan-fiction depicts rather disturbing scenarios. But I am very impressed by all the hard work people put into their writings.
:sigh: Where have all of the Harry Potter characters gone to? I miss them! Especially you, Sirius. :eyebrows: As I told Lilyrose yesterday, I had not realized how much time has passed, since things are very different Beyond the Veil.

I devoured everything about motorcycles. But there were so many Wizard books to read that I don't think I read too many Muggle books. My brother and I were home-schooled, since my family would never put us in a Muggle school, so we were given Wizard books for our studies.
