So do you mean to say that your werewolf state is now like an animagus form? You can change whenever you want without the pain and desire to bite? Actually I love werewolves and have since I was six years old. While I know you weren't so hot on it while trying to live in the wizard world you have to admit, wolves are amazing animals. Which brings us to the final question; do you think your parents naming you "Remus" (from the folk lore of the boy raised by a wolf) was destiny?

Another for Remus: I know it is speculative, even for wizards, but why do you imagine that the Boggart continued to take on the form of a full moon? It didn't seem to cause you any fear later in life; you seemed rather nonchalant when you zapped it out of existence.

Wow, that was so sappy.

What was it like when you realized that the other Marauders accepted you for being a werewolf? At first I couldn't believe it. James and Sirius liked to kid around all the time. I was reluctant to trust them at first. But once it became apparent that their friendship was real and not another joke, it was a great feeling.

Which brings us to the final question; do you think your parents naming you "Remus" (from the folk lore of the boy raised by a wolf) was destiny?I doubt that they ever intended the name to be prophetic, but it does seem to be an odd coincidence, doesn't it?

When was it that you realized that you were in love with Tonks? We got to know each other while we were at the OotP meetings. I was instantly attracted to her.

Where did you hide the Firewhisky, Moony? Enquiring minds want to know. The firewhiskey is long gone now Sirius, as are both of us.

Remus: So how many times were you the mastermind behind devious plots? :evil:James and Sirius were always the ringleaders of every plot. I always tried to stay out of trouble.

Hi Remus!! Are you happy that you are no longer a warewolf? I hope you arn't anymore. No, I'm not a werewolf anymore. That was part of my Earthly existence. I am very happy as I am now.

Thanks. :)I didn't really have a chance to meet Harry before I came to Hogwarts. He was either at the Dursleys or at Hogwarts. The Dursleys would never have allowed me near their home.

I didn't tell Dumbledore about Sirius being an animagus because I didn't want him to know the whole story of our past. I know it was not wise of me. I will admit that.

Another for Remus: I know it is speculative, even for wizards, but why do you imagine that the Boggart continued to take on the form of a full moon? It didn't seem to cause you any fear later in life; you seemed rather nonchalant when you zapped it out of existence. The fool moon was always my greatest fear. The only reason I appeared nonchalant about it was because I was able to produce a patronus with ease. But trust me, I never stopped dreading the arrival of the full moon. It always took days away from my life, time I could have been doing so many other things.

I'm one of those minds too Sirius. I know you are as well. Care to have a drink with me? I'd love it if you could join us as well Remus.I believe you are a bit young for firewhiskey. How would you like a nice butterbeer instead?

Yeah, I can relate; although I have to admit that since I was a child my deepest secret wish was to spend a day as a werewolf ~ not biting anyone of course, but they are so uber cool.

So when you were young at Hogwarts, how did you and your mates get on with Peeves? I noted that Peeves had a grudging respect for the pranksters Fred and George, despite having fun at their expense. Was he with you guys or against you?

Yeah, I can relate; although I have to admit that since I was a child my deepest secret wish was to spend a day as a werewolf ~ not biting anyone of course, but they are so uber cool. You would probably enjoy the power and the strength that a werewolf feels. A four-legged creature moves with much more grace than a man does. The sense of smell is enhanced, too. But it isn’t all that glamorous actually. So when you were young at Hogwarts, how did you and your mates get on with Peeves? I noted that Peeves had a grudging respect for the pranksters Fred and George, despite having fun at their expense. Was he with you guys or against you?Peeves was very pesky. He seemed to harass me a lot more than James and Sirius. They had a better way of dealing with him than I did. We used the Marauders Map to avoid him as much as possible.

:rotfl: I love this place ~ it is so humorous.

You would probably enjoy the power and the strength that a werewolf feels. A four-legged creature moves with much more grace than a man does. The sense of smell is enhanced, too. But it isn’t all that glamorous actually.

Exactly - running with the wind and wolves are amazing. my parents had no idea what they were getting themselves into when they brought home my first little reading book about a werewolf . I adopted a wolf as a boy and I would go with a science group and watch for hours in open territory. Even now at 27, I can recall the lithe speed of a wolf and it just boggles the mind. Ah - but back to werewolves; yes, it isn't the glamour, I recall the transformations are painful. But the other factors you mentioned would be great to experience. Sadly, not too many muggles enjoy discussing werewolves on this site :grumble:.

So onward to a new question. Would you say that being a werewolf gave you a deeper appreciation for wild animals on the whole? And what about other half breeds like vampires? And magical creatures like Centaurs?

Peeves was very pesky. He seemed to harass me a lot more than James and Sirius. They had a better way of dealing with him than I did. We used the Marauders Map to avoid him as much as possible.

Yeah, I recall his nick name for you was 'loopy'. Did he have those for the rest of you as well? Batty Black, Puddlebrain Potter and the like? I would have to say you handled Peeves quite well while teaching. The bubblegum up the nose trick was quite funny. Is that the way James and Sirius had dealt with him when you were young?

So onward to a new question. Would you say that being a werewolf gave you a deeper appreciation for wild animals on the whole? And what about other half breeds like vampires? And magical creatures like Centaurs?Yes, being a werewolf has caused me to have great respect for creatures with aspects of themselves that were difficult to control. I definitely have respect for other magical creatures who may have been shunned or looked down upon by society.I would have to say you handled Peeves quite well while teaching. The bubblegum up the nose trick was quite funny. Is that the way James and Sirius had dealt with him when you were young? Why thank you. :) I might have picked up that spell from James or Sirius. They also had other spells along the same lines to deal with Peeves. But lets just say they often chose larger objects to work with when dealing with Peeves. ;)Do you remember what it feels like to be a warewolf?Yes I do. That's not something I'll forget in a hurry.

:rotfl:. Now why do I have the feeling we won't get to hear any more about that rather humorous aspect of the story? Well somethings are likely best left unsaid, lol.

So how did you feel about Greyback - that is, did you ever want revenge against him for biting you? By the Battle of Hogwarts, he had of course turned into a rather malvolent person and I imagine quite a number of people wished to see him in Azkabann. But did you also seek personal justice at any time during your earthly existence?Fenrir was despicable. He used his condition as a weapon, causing countless suffering. The fact that he targetted children made him especially twisted and evil in my eyes. It was very hard for me to play the role of werewolf liason that Dumbledore assigned to me. He avoided me, of course, but I would have brought him to justice if I found him.

I have lots of questions for you!

1 what dose wolfsbane potion tase like?:wow: The wolfsbane potion was very bitter. It was like eating an old root. I never did get used to it, either.

2 what if there was another werewolf at hogwarts?:lol:I would have had a companion, and that would have been great fun. We would have a lot of things in common, I imagine.

3 could a werewolf be an animigus?
:whistle:Interesting question. :hmm: I don't think so.

Could a wizard be a werewolf and an animagus at the same time?
could an animagus form be a werewolf? I think a werewolf has enough trouble turning from human into werewolf form once a month. Changing into another creature would just be too hard, I think.
And what if a muggle got bit by a werewolf? Would they have to know about the wizard world? :hmm: The wizard world maintains the statute of secrecy as much as possible. That would include werewolf relations, too.
And, also, when did Tonks find out that you were a werewolf? or did you just tell her? :wow:Tonks knew me from the Order of the Phoenix. Everyone there knew I was a werewolf. It was hard to hide.
Oh, yeah, and whats your favorite colour?:rotfl:Blue is a nice color.

Are you currently supporting anyone for Minister? Are you supporting your old friend Sirius?Sirius will make a fine minister. He is intelligent, caring and dedicated to whatever cause he is working for.

That's one badly behaved rabbit that you might actually enjoy owning...

Happy birthday, Remus. :)

Dear Remus,
How did you cope your whole life after Hogwarts? You weren't excepted by the Wizarding World, two of your best friends died, and the other became a Death Eater! Remus- I must say I love you (no offense Tonks you totally rock too).

It was difficult, but thankfully I still have a lot of support from the remaining members of the Order. Especially from Dumbledore of course. The Weasleys were always there for me as well.

My man Lupin! I cannot believe this thread has not been moving right along, you are a very interesting persona. I've just been discussing how hard it was for you as a young werewolf. But what I am interesting in knowing was despite all of the hardship and trauma it cause you, was there anything at all that you liked as a werewolf?

The only time in my life that I liked being a werewolf was when we had our Marauder adventures. I would have preferred to just be an animagus, of course. But Sirius and James were very good at keeping me in line while I was a werewolf. As a result, I didn't have the fear that I would kill someone that I usually have whenever I became a werewolf.

It would have been fun to be a wolf animagus, though. I enjoyed the increased senses and the feel of power in my legs when I was a werewolf.

Ya...I once adopted a wolf, which meant just keeping the large reserve that he and other animals lived on, litter free.. I used to go and watch him, and the other animals in the wild, but it was hard to follow them because they moved powerfully fast. I always figured that once you got to the afterworld you'd automatically become a werewolf animagus - but I guess I figured that wrong, eh?

Wolves and werewolves are indeed very fast, although werewolves are easier distracted from the hunt.

Great that you adopted a wolf!

Yeah, it was great. Unfortunately the program lost funding and so they couldn't afford to take us out to the reserve any longer. I was quite young, but I have always had it in the back of my mind to get that program reinstated one day. It gives one an appreciation for wild animals and reserves as well - preserving the habitat. I am considering an offer to go to Alaska on a viewing/clean up expedition. But it isn't quite the same...

Well I guess there is no question in here, but when I get started on the topic - I get a bit carried away..

Hey, Remus!

I was wondering... Would you share a couple of pointers on wandless magic?

Just no 'try and experiment' suggestions, please; my detention schedule is full as it is... :sigh:

If your wandless magic is of an explosive or fiery nature, I’d suggest practicing somewhere far away from civilization. ;)

If you add 'like Azkaban', I'm really going to reconsider my stance on befriending local staff... :grumble:

Did you ever hold any job apart from teaching?

Hey Professor Lupin! So, is your patronus not completely fully fledged, or is it like unable to maintain a certain shape? or something?

Prof. Lupin,
A fan, you're such a wonderful wise person, very interesting to know about :)

So, as much as you'd rather avoid werewolf related topic, you're the only source we have :) I wanted to ask, how long did your transformation take after you were bitten? And did the effects increase every full moon, until you've reached a certain level?
We saw that you did quite remarkable in your OWLs, and in your NEWTs I assume, so what job did you proceed with?
And finally, what do you do behind the veil for fun? the trio is reunited at last, any mischief? :P
Thanks for listening, love, Liza.

I worked at a book shop for a while.

It's a full patronus.

Thank you!

Transformations do take a while, i imagine your body needs to adapt. But the effects are always the same.

I worked in a book shop but if I hadn't been a werewolf I would have loved to have worked at the Ministry of Magic.

We are a bit too old for mischief  But we do enjoy ourselves.
