Well technically none of them are :rotfl:. However, Sirius' life time experience in the wizard world was extensive. He has also kept up with the earthly wizard world from the afterworld - as seen in that book the lady wrote about the wizard world (the Forest Again Chapter). So I believe Sirius' afterworldly presence will only serve as a benefit. Just think of the knowledge Sirius will be able to bring: both his life experience and his shared experiences with others in the afterworld.

And looks are important in a political campaign! Wizards might be wary of a candidate's ability to care for them in terms of relevant issues if they show no care for themselves personally. :p

I'll vote for Sirius! He was a part of BOTH wars, and even though he has died in the second, he can now get the next life involved too, like Dobby, Fred, and everyone else, right? He saw the many harships that happened in his life, and the blood purists such as his family and Lucius, knowing how hard it must have been for the Muggle borns.

BTW, LindaLuna, about your signature: the only candidates for Co-Ministers because they were candidates having both, seperately, got the required number of supporters are Hermione and Neville. I've always admired both Sirius and Bill. But I'm not sure Minister is the right position for Sirius. If the team had been reversed... that would be another matter.

This is just idle musing, of course. I'm committed to my own candidates and their campaign.

Sir, I have not avoided your question. I have simply waited for the campaign to formally begin. We hope that during the course of the campaign and its debates your question will be answered. If you still feel that you have not received a satisfactory answer after that, I will be more than happy to address your concerns.

Sirius and Bill are two very strong candidates and I commend your respect for their potential success. I would think that time might be better spent looking for strengths for your own candidates, rather than finding dubious weaknesses in others. Just an idea... ;)

If you check the Editorial Page in the Daily Prophet, you'll realize we have been doing just that. We were the first campaign to post an editorial too, and the only one until Kingsley came in. So his commendations all went to us. :p

Your banner is very effective color-wise. We were also glad to see we weren't the only ones who didn't do an animated banner.

We had technical glitches big time at the last minute and had to scramble madly, and it's possible the Judges felt a bit sorry for us because we were very close to defaulting and were desperate. :blush:

Well Bill's wife Fleur Delacour Weasley obviously supports his campaign, but we haven't had a chance to post a formal endorsement from her yet.

Fleur is very excited about the campaign. She wanted me to post a message from her, since she is busy with our children and all her other activities.

Bill eez a very 'ardworking man. 'E has a great deal of experience dealing with Goblins. I never liked zem but Bill is very good at dealing with difficult people. Ze werewolf bite 'as helped Bill understand how it feels to be different. 142%? Usually these things add up to 100%

Besides, that extra 61% would have been split up between the remaining teams, not just given to one individual team. In most cases (especially with many different people to vote for) the winner rarely has over half the votes. This is, after all, a plurality voting system.

I really think that our question/answer series was the best of the bunch... I am a bit disappointed that the response hasn't been more positive from it.

But there's a lot of enthusiasm from this team to make sure that our candidate gets noticed, and for the right reasons. We've also had to defend against attacks from Rita Skeeter and have weathered it all very well.

Plus, we have our video finished and turned in, which will keep us in the running.

No one knows better than you how important it is to have a fair and unbiased legal system. And your determination to learn how to transfigure into an animagus so that you could keep me company when I became a werewolf showed that you have a deep respect for those of us who are different than others. I know you will work very hard for both of these reforms because they have affected you so personally.

One of the things that I found most amazing about you was the way you stood up for for what was right rather than what was easy. It was one of Dumbledore's favourite expressions and I always thought about you when he said it. You stood up to your family when their views were different than yours. You joined the Order even when many of your family members were Death Eaters. And you would have died rather than betray your friends.

I remember our school days when you were sometimes rather arrogant and often bored. Somehow, you and James managed to get top grades and have a good time, too. But you matured into a very brave, loyal and dedicated Order member. I understood your frustration of being locked in Grimmauld House, but I admired your loyalty to the Order by residing there so that we could use it as a headquarters.

I think you would be a very good Minister of Magic. You are very intelligent, hardworking and dedicated. I know you will "give it your all", because that is the kind of person who are. You have my support and I wish you and Bill the best of luck in your campaign.
