Arch Enemy

Definitely the next best band in modern death metal right after Bodom...Angela's voice is so powerful and amazing...the only gal with equivalent vocals like that is Shamaya Otep as far as i know...but Angela is better....

Their new album Rise of the Tyrant rocks!!!! Revolution Begins,The Day You Died and Blood on Your Hands my faves!!

Older fave singles include We Will Rise,Nemesis,Dead Eyes See No Future,Heart of Darkness,Savage Messiah and My Apocalypse. <=the slow bit on this track is AWSOME!

I love Arch Enemy. I think the fact that they have a female singer really gives them an edge. No male singer could get the sounds she can.

The music and the lyrics are so powerful. Angela Gossow is the best thing about the group, imo. The band has got fantastic musicians (the Amott brothers in particular), but Gossow just gives the band such a unique sound... The best metal growl around :)

Favourite songs have to be Nemesis, Blood On Your Hands, and Revolution Begins.

I agree Arch Enemy are great. Nemesis, My Apocalypse and We Will Rise are my favourites songs. They're not as good as Cannibal Corpse, Ingested, Nile etc. but are still are a great band!

We Will Rise is awesome :D I love Symphony of Destruction too. Great band.
