Tom Morello: The Nightwatchman

anyone heard any of Tom Morello's solo stuff? he released his second album The Fabled City on the 30th of Sept 2008. His first ablum One Man Revolution was released on 24th April 2007. Tom is most known for his technical electric guitar work in Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave. However his solo work is folk music. It has its influence's from Rage in that his lyrics are heavily politicaly influenced. However many people have said his style is similar to artisits like bob dylan.

Checked out some of his stuff on myspace after your recommendation on another thread. I liked it - loved the political content, very much in the dissenting, protest song tradition of folk. Will have to listen to it some more before really qualified to give an opinion.
