REMEMBERALL July 20th, 2009, 9:03 pm I'm reading how many people have gone multiple times ( so jealous! :) ) How many times have you gone and are you going again? FlamingRed July 20th, 2009, 9:13 pm Once I found myself not liking it much, which saddened me, so I will probably go see it again and give it another chance. lil_snuffles July 20th, 2009, 9:22 pm 3 times so far. Midnight showing, with one of my friends the other day and with my mom yesterday. :) Corvinus July 20th, 2009, 9:28 pm I have seen it two times and I intend to see it a third. FleurDeLaPointe July 20th, 2009, 9:30 pm Could we get a poll attached to this thread? I saw it once and it'll stay that way until DVD release. CrazyMuggle July 20th, 2009, 9:42 pm Once (although I saw the first 15 minutes twice... during the midnight showing the film shut off after the first 15 mins. so I had to see it again the next night.) I plan on seeing it again soon. Fulton July 20th, 2009, 9:43 pm Once, I should likely see it again to be more fair to it, but I am uncertain Rich July 20th, 2009, 9:49 pm I've seen it twice. I went Satuday evening and Sunday night :D I plan to see it again before it is out of the theatre! darkevangelist July 20th, 2009, 9:57 pm I've seen it 9 times already. Yeah, I'm bad about these things. lil_snuffles July 20th, 2009, 10:02 pm I've seen it 9 times already. Yeah, I'm bad about these things. Wow :wow: Thats crazy, but awesome! I will most likely see it at least one more time before the DVD release. AccioHP July 20th, 2009, 10:06 pm I've seen it twice so far. Once at the midnight showing with my sister and uncle. I saw it a second time yesterday with my sister and mom. I probably will see it more times, I usually see them at least 3 times if I can remember  The next time I go will be with my dad and probably my sister again. ColdGreyEyes July 20th, 2009, 10:13 pm I've only seen it once, but I'd definitely go see it again. xD I loved it. xhanax315 July 20th, 2009, 10:21 pm I've only seen it once and that was at the midnight showing. :( I want to go see it before it comes in IMAX here. :sigh: Lucky for those of you who've seen it multiple times. Bella_Crucio_U July 20th, 2009, 10:22 pm 2 times so far. Once at the midnight showing and then again on that same week. i saw it that Friday. I plan to see it at least one more time. ZOSE July 20th, 2009, 10:28 pm Once I found myself not liking it much, which saddened me, so I will probably go see it again and give it another chance. Dear Flaming - I felt the same way, and so I went again this time with a Potter fan, and I loved a million times more. The first time I went alone, and I think going with a friend helped, but also I tried to put the book in the back of my mind and just enjoy the movie and I did! I still wish a few things were different, but overall I really enjoyed it which is way more than I can say after my first visit! Go see it again! AnneAnne July 20th, 2009, 10:30 pm I've only seen it once so far, at midnight. I would love to go again, but this time I want to see it in IMAX. Hanmo July 20th, 2009, 10:31 pm Once, but I want to see it again because I had to use the bathroom twice during it and I want to see the scenes I missed. elemenopee July 20th, 2009, 10:44 pm Three times! :D hehe decarus July 20th, 2009, 10:47 pm Four times so far. I will probably go again though. I don't go to the movies that often because there really haven't been any that great lately so when a Harry Potter film comes out why not go over and over again. I second though, if you have only seen it once and were disappointed, see it again. It is always easier around the second time. KlausBaudelaire July 20th, 2009, 11:00 pm Thrice, maybe the fourth time i'll watch in English language :) CandyCane23049 July 20th, 2009, 11:10 pm 3 times. A early screening at 8:30 on the 14th, midnight showing, and then I went to see it again on Friday. I plan on seeing it again at I-max and I will probably go see it again at I-max. I don't know how many times i will see this movie because it's my favorite. December seem so far away for the DVD release now. Plus peolpe who have only seen it once please try again. You see more clues each time you see it. Pigwijon July 21st, 2009, 12:34 am just once so far. But I loved it and i wanna see it again! :D silver ink pot July 21st, 2009, 12:43 am I saw it twice within the first 24 hours. I went at midnight with my kids and then went back with my husband at 10:30 the next morning. I loved it both times, and I'm sure I'll see it again. katana July 21st, 2009, 12:44 am I've only seen it once, opening day with my son. I'm seeing it again this week with my hubby though. I hope to see it a couple more times after that. I had plans to see it with some other family members, but that plan got changed. I want to see it in IMAX too, just because I've never been to an IMAX before. Albino_Thestral July 21st, 2009, 12:59 am I went on the day it came out with me mum and friends at 2:20. we would've gone that morning, but we got the days mixed up.:grumble: Then I went on Saturday the 18 with my real dad. I will be going again soon with me mum(again) and stepdad... So, I've seen it twice. MasterOfDeath July 21st, 2009, 1:14 am I saw it three times! Once at the midnight show, then again the day after with my parents on IMAX, and a third time on a regular screen again with my mom. I do plan to see it at least a few more times before the summer is over. dchristen03 July 21st, 2009, 2:03 am I already saw it twice, at midnight, and the morning after  I'm hoping to see it two more times this week! sambow87 July 21st, 2009, 2:49 am Three times and at least twice more. Seeing it when I go home to visit the family next week and then in the IMAX! Sahara July 21st, 2009, 2:58 am I've seen it twice so far and I'll probably see it a few more times. The second time was much better, IMO :tu: julawso July 21st, 2009, 2:58 am I've seen it 3 times. I went to the midnight show, then I saw it Thursday and Saturday. I plan on seeing it again when it comes to my local drive-in. If not sooner, haha! Jigga July 21st, 2009, 3:01 am once. I may see it once more, but I prefer to conserve my money than blow it on very expensive movies. padfoot__lives July 21st, 2009, 3:14 am I've seen it twice.. Midnight on opening day and then I literally just got home not even an hour ago from seeing it again. I'd like to see it in IMAX but the closest theater playing it is nearly 2 hours away and that's just not something I can afford. Unfortunately. I don't think I'll be seeing it again in theaters. :( xhanax315 July 21st, 2009, 4:32 am Plus peolpe who have only seen it once please try again. You see more clues each time you see it. Exactly, which is one of the reasons I want to go see it again before I go see it in IMAX. There were many details mentioned in another thread that I hadn't caught, I'd like to see them. :agree: I saw it three times! Once at the midnight show, then again the day after with my parents on IMAX, and a third time on a regular screen again with my mom. I do plan to see it at least a few more times before the summer is over. Lucky. I probably won't get to it until the 29th when it comes to IMAX here. :sigh: nmwing5 July 21st, 2009, 4:37 am I saw it once, at the midnight showing. I dont plan on going again in theatres because I was pleasantly surprised by it... and I really enjoyed it! Thus, i dont want too much of a good thing. hopefulgirl86 July 21st, 2009, 4:46 am Twice, and I am planning on seeing it again in a couple hours. :P I love that movie. I've found the Harry Potter movies to be so-so, PS and PoA were my favourites, but now HBP is. I ended up going to see it by myself for the first time, but I didn't care as soon as the movie started. I loved it right away. Pyrial July 21st, 2009, 6:00 am I saw it twice. The first was at 10am the day it came out with my stepdad then again on Saturday with my boyfriend. Both cheaper matinee tickets. I'm planning on seeing it again in IMAX. SevrusSnape July 21st, 2009, 7:45 am I saw it 3 times in 2 days and I'm going to see it tomorrow night to make it 4 and I will definitely see it once more with my mom and possibly again in IMAX and then when the price drops to $5 I will see it again...so it will total 6-7 Willz July 21st, 2009, 10:31 am Twice. The first time with my little brother the day it came out, the second time with a mate :) thefirestorm July 21st, 2009, 12:41 pm Four times now, :D So far, I plan to see it a whole lot more. SDSPAGE July 21st, 2009, 4:01 pm twice in 24 hours.... 9th_Wonder July 21st, 2009, 4:05 pm A little less than two and a half times. Kanksha July 21st, 2009, 4:51 pm Three times! :D Thursday evening, Sunday night and Tuesday afternoon :p But in one of the other threads somebody posted that they turned around just before the scene where the Inferi grabs Harry's hand and watched everybody in the theatre jump out of their seats  I really want to try this so I'm contemplating a fourth viewing :p LJB85 July 21st, 2009, 9:25 pm I saw it at midnight for the first viewing. Then at 3:30 AM again, and I got half off the admission second time! :tu: It was not the least bit dull to watch it two times twice. I am impatient to see it the third time. I might go this week, but I really am trying to wait until August when Imax will already be there where I live. I plan on seeing it again with my immediate family. Then with my grandma, and probably alone again. All together will have seen it in theaters 5 times. Freak of nature July 21st, 2009, 10:25 pm Twice. And I am not sure if I should see it again. Why? Because there's a storm coming on here, Very black clouds and stuff and I squeled "Voldemort!" magic_is_might July 21st, 2009, 10:47 pm Only once... sigh. I do plan on watching it again before the end of next week :) Doesn't break my record for OotP, which I saw 5 times in 2 weeks when it was in the theaters. :) xhanax315 July 21st, 2009, 11:40 pm Three times! :D Thursday evening, Sunday night and Tuesday afternoon :p But in one of the other threads somebody posted that they turned around just before the scene where the Inferi grabs Harry's hand and watched everybody in the theatre jump out of their seats  I really want to try this so I'm contemplating a fourth viewing :p That's not actually a bad idea. :rotfl: AccioHP July 22nd, 2009, 5:53 am Saw it for the 3rd time tonight. Midnightsfire July 22nd, 2009, 6:07 am Omce. And I think that will be it. And if I ever purchase the DVD it will be long after its first release. :grumble: Sorafune July 22nd, 2009, 12:36 pm Once, I'm short of money so I have to wait til it comes out on DVD before I can see it again. ivyagogo July 22nd, 2009, 1:13 pm I've seen it three times. I will go see it in Imax and probably a few more times in the theater. We have a $2.00 discount theater ($1.00 on Tuesdays) and I will probably catch it there when it leaves the regular theater. Noleme July 22nd, 2009, 3:04 pm Once so far, but I hope to see it one more time before the DVDs come out... There's only two cinemas here that offer the version with subtitles as well as the dubbed one; I'll have to go and see the English one one more time before they stop releasing it altogether. Wouldn't be able to stand a dubbed Rickman... :grumble: rKrispyt July 22nd, 2009, 5:55 pm Oh boy. 4 times. Have tickets to see it at the Omnimax in Chicago in a few weeks, and my little sister wants me to take her to the drive-in to see it this weekend. I'm such a dork. winky123 July 22nd, 2009, 6:39 pm I've seen it twice. The Saturday night after it's release and than the next night as well. And I think seeing it the second time helped me too like it a bit more because originally I didn't care too much for it. No I probably won't see it again until it comes out of DVD. Though IMAX is pretty cool...I saw GoF in IMAX. Badgers_Rule July 22nd, 2009, 9:39 pm I have seen 3 times and will probably see a couple times more axl_girl July 22nd, 2009, 10:56 pm I saw it twice on the same day (afternoon show & then an evening show). Definitely going to watch it a third time. Sheree July 22nd, 2009, 11:21 pm Once, I'm short of money so I have to wait til it comes out on DVD before I can see it again. Me too. :) Paperclip July 22nd, 2009, 11:29 pm Only once. The movie just wasn't what I had hoped it would be, and for the first time I was actually glad when it was over - something that was never the case with a HP movie before. Probably because they cut almost all the scenes I had been looking forward to. SiriusBlack101 July 23rd, 2009, 1:52 am I saw it for the second time yesterday afternoon. I think my appreciate for the movie only increased, as during my first viewing, I was so hyped up and on edge, I didn't notice many little details. A second viewing certainly gives you that opportunity, and I like to look at the audience reaction to several scenes, particularly when Ron is poisoned, but falls down in a funny way, and when the Inferi grabs Harry's hand in the cave. I think I'll see it again this weekend, and perhaps once more when it finally opens all over in IMAX. LyraLovegood July 23rd, 2009, 2:08 am Just once, but I wanted to see it again right away. Maybe when KitKatVick gets back I'll take her; I know SageRacer doesn't want to go see it again. JR637 July 23rd, 2009, 2:27 am I saw it twice. Once the first day and again this past weekend. I probably won't see it again before it comes out on DVD where I will watch it's repeatedly :p boushh July 23rd, 2009, 5:16 am I've seen it three times so far. Once at a preview screening, once at midnight on opening day, once last weekend. I'll probably see it twice more in the theater, I think. I have two friends who have yet to see it so I will probably go with them once each. :) Googlie July 23rd, 2009, 1:08 pm Just once so far. :( But I'm definitely catching it again in the theatre atleast once! LilDawlish July 23rd, 2009, 6:13 pm So far I have seen it 2 times but I am seeing it again tomorrow and I will probably see it more after that! I love it, it is my favorite movie by far! marauder_bex July 23rd, 2009, 8:05 pm Three! Once in Imax the day it came out (England seemed to forget about midnight showings this time) 2nd time with my flatmate the next night and then once with a friend this morning. I'll probably see it in the cinema again before it stops but I know I'll be watching it again very soon (if you know what I mean ;D) AlanRickmanFan July 24th, 2009, 8:08 am This morning I saw it for the third time. First time was opening day and I loved it! Second time I went by myself on a day I know the theater would be empty so I can totally soak in the plot and details. Today, a friend invited me along and I was able to search for little details that were mentioned in this forum, such as Cho Chang or the lemon drops. One thing I did noticed today: The Death Eaters kidnapped Ollivander in the opening scene! I kind knew it was him, but today I was positive because I saw the Weasley's magic shop on the same street when they dragged out the hooded victim! CARROLiZER July 24th, 2009, 11:07 am Well, I saw the movie first time yesterday, and I think I would seen it again.. But, Well, I have not the time to see it twice. I wait until it comes to dvd. usaquidditch July 25th, 2009, 7:44 pm i went to the midnight premiere and ive been going consistently every night since then. i just can't get enough of it! i think to myself theres a brand new harry potter movie out! what are you doing at home watching Chamber of Secrets?! KClare July 25th, 2009, 8:03 pm Three times so far but I plan to go again later this week. I ended up going to the midnight showing and then the 3:15 showing not long after. I couldn't/can't get enough of it! lil_snuffles July 25th, 2009, 11:51 pm Four times now. :) I saw it with my best friend last night and she loved it. I don't know if I will see it again or not. lisalucy July 26th, 2009, 2:14 am twice. I really want to see it at least two or three more times!! my original goal was 6, but I don't think that will happen. SiriusBlack101 July 26th, 2009, 2:42 am Saw it for the third time this afternoon. Unfortunately my theater experience wasn't the best this time around, as two cell phones went off separately during the movie (once during the orphanage scene, and once during Felix Felicis). There was also a small child who would either cry, whine, or yell during some of the quieter parts. At least he remained quiet from the Cave to the end of the film. mactheknife July 26th, 2009, 9:25 am I've only see it the once so far as I've been on holiday, but I hope to see it once more before it leaves the cinema! :D House_Elf_21 July 26th, 2009, 9:29 am I've seen it twice, once at the midnight showing and once two days later. I might see it again sometime this week, but I'm not sure. REMEMBERALL July 26th, 2009, 1:23 pm I've only seen it once so far, I was hoping that I'd go and see it again by now but I've had no time and I'm working every day this coming week:no:.. so I guess the next time will be when it comes out in IMAX but probably not until the week after it comes out. Pearl_Took July 26th, 2009, 2:15 pm Three times. Smartwitch15 July 26th, 2009, 2:16 pm Well, first I saw it on opening night and then I went to visit a friend and we wanted to go to the movies, so we chose to see HBP and that was my second time, and I might even go again because I have a friend who hasn't finished the book yet and I might go with her. Hysteria July 26th, 2009, 2:38 pm Only the once but that's because: 1. I'm sick and have been for around a month 2. I'm a student so all of my money gets spent on textbooks and petrol for my car 3. No time But I might see it again just before they stop screening it in cinemas. On Cheep Tuesday ;) Spinners_End7 July 26th, 2009, 2:52 pm I've seen it twice. On the first showing the morning it was released, and a few hours ago in IMAX 3D xconwy July 26th, 2009, 5:53 pm Twice First, July 16th, 2009 - with my sister and some of her friends Second, July 21st, 2009 - with my best friend (she couldn't come the first time) CandyCane23049 July 26th, 2009, 7:13 pm Exactly, which is one of the reasons I want to go see it again before I go see it in IMAX. There were many details mentioned in another thread that I hadn't caught, I'd like to see them. :agree: Lucky. I probably won't get to it until the 29th when it comes to IMAX here. :sigh: First time I saw it, I saw it at the Omnimax in Chicago(8:30), it was okay but the screen got annoying after the movie progress plus it was this annoying black line. You also couldn't see Harry Scar. Plus someone brought a baby. Second time at midnight I started noticing small thing's Third time I was catching more thing's but the audience sucked and the peope seating next to me wouldnt shut up Just got my ticket to see it in I-max on the 2nd of August. PLan on seeing it hopefully between then and after I-max. Still haven't seen the exhibit at the museum and could see myself catching agin at the Omnimax just because it's Harry Potter. ID824 July 26th, 2009, 7:39 pm Just once. I never see it more than once in the theater, and then buy the DVD when it comes out. TheWestTower July 26th, 2009, 8:04 pm Twice. On the 15th, at a 10:45 PM showing. And then again this past Friday, at the world's cheapest theater, where the film broke with around 5-7 minutes to go until the credits. Second time I saw it, I remembered a lot more than I expected. And I went by myself too. The other 20 or so people there were completely behind me so it was like I was all alone heheh. It made funny scenes less amusing, and it made the cave scene a lot more tense. not_a_human July 27th, 2009, 12:21 am So far, I've seen it twice.:p At midnight on the 15, and again this past Friday in the evening (the 24). I may be seeing it again, if my parents decide to go. GinnysPygmyPuff July 27th, 2009, 6:44 pm 2nd time earlier today, and after several days of reading posts in here, i managed to catch the small details that i have easily missed on the first watch. I haven't decided yet if i'll watch it on IMAX, but definitely hoping on seeing it again while it's still in theaters. bookworm13 July 27th, 2009, 6:47 pm I went to the midnight showing with my sister and a friend but it took a half hour for the movie to start. The second time I went with the rest of my family. I don't plan on going again though I definetly wouldn't mind. This was the first time I got to see the movie in the theatre and it is so much cooler in the theatre than on a small screen in the basement. xFluerDelacourx July 27th, 2009, 9:46 pm I've only seen it once cause I don't have the money to go anymore. :-( sticky July 27th, 2009, 10:05 pm I have seen it three times now, and i really want to see it again haha. I cant stand the wait for it to be out on dvd lol. lcbaseball22 July 27th, 2009, 10:17 pm Went to a midnight showing and I've also watched it twice online, so 3 times so far. But I plan to see it at least once more in a theatre! :tu: Mad_Druid July 28th, 2009, 2:51 am I've saw it twice in as many days but I won't see it again. I will buy the DVD when it comes out however. LookALethifold July 28th, 2009, 5:19 am I feel kinda bad because I work at a movie theater and I've only seen it twice (I poke my head in while working, too, of course). It's free for me, but I don't know that I'll watch it more than once more all the way through. Been real busy. By the way, I dressed in death eater garb for the midnight showing, where I was stumbling around and muttering things like "Move, muggle!" tripletkate607 July 28th, 2009, 9:57 am By the way, I dressed in death eater garb for the midnight showing, where I was stumbling around and muttering things like "Move, muggle!" Now THAT is awesome. andrecarmona July 28th, 2009, 5:47 pm six times AccioLumos July 28th, 2009, 7:54 pm 7 times thus far. PrOxY July 28th, 2009, 8:07 pm Just once so far, but some *@$%^@* unpleasant folks brought 3 little children (under 4) to the 10:30 P.M. showing, and were constantly breaking the mood~! So its the late show @ Imax for me this weekend  lovehedwig July 28th, 2009, 8:10 pm Only once; I went to the midnight premiere, but I would have enjoyed it much more if the guys behind us were commenting on everything. They kept laughing obnoxiously and mockingly whenever something funny happened. argh. But I enjoyed it. We came pretty early and the whole theater broke into a song of "The Mysterious Ticking Noise" of Potter Puppet Pals. I'm planning on watching it again in IMAX 3-D, though. It'll be AWESOME. then I'll buy the DVD. I loved the movie. Criccos July 29th, 2009, 12:02 am I've seen it thrice so far... I want to see it again, but since I'm entering University in less than a month I really feel that I ought to save my money...however, I absolutely loved the movie, so it's not impossible that I'll go and see it again before the DVD is released. lcbaseball22 July 29th, 2009, 1:23 am We came pretty early and the whole theater broke into a song of "The Mysterious Ticking Noise" of Potter Puppet Pals. The same thing happened at my theatre! :err: And in addition to that, there was these chants going on while we were waiting, like "when I say Harry...you say Potter" and a lot of em they would procede to do so. Also Harry...Potter *clap clap clap* Harry...Potter *clap clap clap* and so on. I felt like I was at a football game with a bunch of cheeerleaders or a freaking softball game as opposed to a movie. It was quite fun and hilarious though  I would have joined in but I didn't feel comfortable doing so due to the people I was sitting around...jerks. Oh, it was awesome though- some of the dudes I was sitting near repeated the chant as "you...are...******s" and one of the girls sitting in front of him was like "GET OUT NOW!" :tu: PrOxY July 29th, 2009, 1:43 am The same thing happened at my theatre! :err: And in addition to that, there was these chants going on while we were waiting, like "when I say Harry...you say Potter" and a lot of em they would procede to do so. Also Harry...Potter *clap clap clap* Harry...Potter *clap clap clap* and so on....................:tu: Man I wish I could trade my experience (noted above) for yours ! lcbaseball22 July 29th, 2009, 1:47 am Man I wish I could trade my experience (noted above) for yours ! Yeah, well I had a similar experience to yours when I saw OotP during the day so this time I decided to go to the midnight release. It was refreshing, NO kiddies, past their bedtime I presume :p I was just surrounded by a bunch of crazy screaming high schoolers, I think  But once the film started everyone had the sense to shut up! Though there was a lot of cheering and laughing at moments throughout :tu: xobkwrmxo July 29th, 2009, 2:17 am I've seen it once, but I'm planning to see it again when I can convince my mom and sister to finally go see it. I prefer to see book adaptions twice, at least the ones I really care about. Why? Because the first time I criticize and can't help it. I enjoy it so much more the second time because I can sit back, relax, and enjoy the show :) dchristen03 July 29th, 2009, 2:23 am Today I'll be watching it again in about two hours - my third time  AlexisMalfoy July 29th, 2009, 5:43 am I won't lie, I've only seen it once so far, courtesy of my own computer (none of my friends were willing to go and I really wanted to see it), and the only reason I'd see it again is if it was in IMAX. I would hope an IMAX experience would make me actually like it and not make me feel like I wasted 2.5 hours of my life. jallen July 29th, 2009, 4:07 pm I've only seen it once thus far, but I have plans for a second time on Friday and I hope to see it again after that. Gaian July 29th, 2009, 4:36 pm I've seen it only once, but I'm lucky I managed to watch it, because my husband finally accepted to baby-sit our sons. I won't be able to watch it twice, unfortunalty, because I think it deserves a second watch. At least... :D Navalina July 29th, 2009, 5:01 pm I've seen it twice. The second time was when I was on vacation in Prague because the cinema's a whole lot cheaper there than it is here. I highly doubt I'm going to see it a third time. I was hoping I would like it better the second time but I really didn't. LookALethifold July 29th, 2009, 11:11 pm Now THAT is awesome. Yeah, it was fun. A friend accidentally broke my wand though. Before that I was casting Unforgivable curses left and right. HMN July 29th, 2009, 11:15 pm I've only seen it once so far, but I'm going to see it again on Saturday night - so excited. Catching up on the details thread so I have more goodies to look for. :) princessjaffa July 29th, 2009, 11:27 pm I've seen it twice now and much as I loved it the 1st time I enjoyed it more the 2nd time because I'd gotten over the few small things I was disappointed about. not_a_human July 29th, 2009, 11:45 pm We came pretty early and the whole theater broke into a song of "The Mysterious Ticking Noise" of Potter Puppet Pals. That is so cool! Oh, I wish that had been my theater. It took half an hour for the movie to start at the midnight showing, and the only exciting thing that happened was one guy dressed as Harry (with a wand) and another guy with a cloak got up in the front and the guy in the cloak "attacked" "Harry" and "Harry" used expecto patronum on him. It was funny, but yours is even better:p snapes_witch July 30th, 2009, 1:46 am I've only seen it once; I'm planning on at least one more. Our second run theater has turned into a filthy h*ll hole so I'm obliged to spend the extra money at the first run multi-plex. :grumble: Of course, I'll buy the DVD next December. Phrozenone July 30th, 2009, 5:41 am I just got back from seeing it for the third time. Sad I know  I really enjoyed it thought. HBP has actually gotten better with each viewing. Each time I appreciate it more than the last and its' really grown on me. Elito July 30th, 2009, 11:49 pm Yeah I just saw it for the third time, there is not going to be a fourth... tought MasterOfDeath July 31st, 2009, 12:06 am I just got back from seeing it for the third time. Sad I know  I really enjoyed it thought. HBP has actually gotten better with each viewing. Each time I appreciate it more than the last and its' really grown on me. Yeah, that is sad, Phrozenone. You only saw it three times? I saw it four times already! :p  MrSleepyHead July 31st, 2009, 12:13 am I have only seen the film twice - once at the midnight showing, and the second time was the evening of July 17. I planned to see it again once it opened in the IMAX theatres, but, incredibly, my local IMAX theatre is not showing HBP. I was (and am) very irritated, since I was looking forward to watching my first Harry Potter film in IMAX. Now I will wait for my IMAX theatre to show HBP, but, in the meantime, I will probably watch it at least one more time in a normal cinema. RumbleRoar July 31st, 2009, 12:30 am I've seen it once. Sadly it wasn't the opening show at midnight because I was at camp. I'm planning to see it once more with my parents and then another time at a drive-in theater with my cousins. Can't wait for the drive-in! I'll probably end up seeing it a fourth time when it reaches the bargain theaters. spellotapepolly July 31st, 2009, 8:25 am There was no midnight showing at my cinema so, i settled for 10.15 in the morning with my sister and her 9-month baby. She wasn't too bad, infact she started crying when ron kissed lavender  she gets that from me. I've seen it twice now (dragged my parents too) and i appreciated it much more second time around. I wanna go again but, i don't think i'll get the chance. SunXia July 31st, 2009, 8:31 am I've see it once, I don't think I could pay to go see a movie without a proper climax and with creepiness throughout!! I did enjoy the humour though!! RareAddict July 31st, 2009, 8:37 am I've seen it three times. Planning on seeing it one more time, this time in IMAX, this weekend. ;) squib7 August 1st, 2009, 1:03 am Ive only seen it once. Wouldnt mind seeing it again. GryffindorGirl5 August 4th, 2009, 8:22 pm 1 in theaters more than 100 online.... soccermum August 5th, 2009, 4:05 am 5 and planning an IMAX viewing. CandyCane23049 August 5th, 2009, 5:10 am 4 and plan on seeing it again. MasterOfDeath August 5th, 2009, 5:12 am 5 and planning on seeing it again. snugglepot August 5th, 2009, 5:24 am Three times, so far. First time with my husband on the 16th July. Second time with my husband and Mother-in-law on the 27th July. Third time with my M-i-L yesterday (The 4th August). My M-i-L is now a Harry Potter fan! KChan88 August 5th, 2009, 5:25 am 3; Once at the midnight show, a second two days later, and a third two days after that. I'm planning on seeing one more time in IMAX for sure, and hopefully one more time after that. Sesquipedalian August 5th, 2009, 4:50 pm I have, thus far, seen it three times in cinemas, and plan on seeing it once again, today, in IMAX (the largest mall in the area in which I live has an IMAX cinema, and I therefore might as well take advantage of it). Wulfric_Potter August 5th, 2009, 5:49 pm I've only seen it twice thus far, but I'm definitely planning on seeing it again. GryffindorGirl5 August 5th, 2009, 8:09 pm I want to see it again in theaters so bad But my parents dont like harry potter so i dont think they'll take me AGAIN....but it's ok because I watch it on the computer! X) kreestu August 5th, 2009, 10:20 pm I've seen it about four times. Twice in theaters, twice online. I'm hoping to see it in a theater again soon. =D It's super intense. OlorinPotter August 5th, 2009, 11:43 pm Twice 2green_eyes August 7th, 2009, 5:54 am I've seen in 3 times, planning on going to an IMAX version as well. nina__ August 7th, 2009, 6:42 pm Only once in theatres, I'd go everyday could I afford it  Can't wait to get it on DVD. 999888 August 8th, 2009, 5:48 pm Only once, and I'm not planning (at all) to see it again. excusemydust August 8th, 2009, 6:23 pm Only once, and I'm not planning (at all) to see it again. I second that, but I'm not really a fan of any of the movies beyond the first one. Although, I will admit that they have a fabulous cast and Broadbent as Slughorn was no exception. TokioRose August 10th, 2009, 2:06 am Only once! I wanted to see it again, though I don't think they're showing it in my place. :/ I'm looking forward to the DVD release though! :) lovehedwig August 10th, 2009, 3:34 am Saw it again two days ago. The movie was even better the second time. :D But the actual experience of watching it in the theater wasn't as good as when I went to the midnight premiere, mainly because there was no whooping, cat-calls, snort-laughter, or any of the good stuff the people did during the premiere. I missed that. But it was still good. My friend and I were shaking with laughter the whole time (well, except for the last half hour of it). ActingDude17 August 10th, 2009, 4:01 am Three times; midnight release, with mom, and with friend. xclaudine August 10th, 2009, 10:28 am Once (before exams) Now, I'm planning to see it again with my sister (she still didnt watch it though) And another round with my classmates! rKrispyt August 10th, 2009, 5:18 pm Okay, I just saw it in Chicago before the exhibit (which is amaaaazing) for the 5th time. I currently don't have plans to see it again, though my little sister is currently reading the books for the first time and I'm sure she'll want to go again after she's read the 6th book. JackFish August 10th, 2009, 6:12 pm Just the once. I'm not a huge fan of the films, but still enjoyed it. Wouldn't want to see it again but I'll get it when it's out on DVD. blak_cat August 11th, 2009, 6:30 pm I've seen it three times: once on the day it came out with my dad (who was dying to see it), once with my mom a few days later (also dying to see it), and once with a group of people about a week after that. And I'm probably gonna end up going one more time with another group of people who want to see it and haven't yet because of basketball camp. I'll probably be mouthing lines with the movie... Apheka August 12th, 2009, 11:16 am The first time I was so aware of what was deleted and different from the book that I was disappointed. The second time, I put the book out of my mind and enjoyed the film as a film on its own. The third time, I really got it. The way the director made it character driven and not action driven. This was in an early session with only 4 people in the theatre and it was brilliant, no popcorn eaters, drink slurpers or mobile phones lighting up and I could concentrate on the film. CrazyMuggle August 13th, 2009, 5:15 am Well having just come back from seeing it on IMAX (an amazing experience btw) I have now seen the movie 4.5 times. The first (half) time I saw it at the midnight showing with a bunch of friends but it shut off midway through and we were given free movie passes. The real (full) first time was the very next day with the same people who were also given the free passes (plus a few extra tagged along.) The second time I saw it by myself one lazy sunday afternoon. The third time I caught it in really good quality online. The fourth time was the amazing IMAX experience  I'm not sure I'll see it again until DVD. xhanax315 August 18th, 2009, 4:55 am I finally got to see it for the 2nd time in IMAX last night. I know, pathetic huh, compared to all of you who've seen it multiple times. :sigh: sincerelysirius August 18th, 2009, 5:07 am I saw it twice. Once the day it came out and again at the IMAX. ActingDude17 August 18th, 2009, 5:10 am Four times. First time with fellow Potter crazies at midnight (perhaps not as crazy as me). Second time with my mom. Third time with a friend who's casually into Potter. Fourth time alone. I'll be going a fifth time Saturday with a friend who's pretty into Potter. La_Luna August 18th, 2009, 7:40 am Just the once and I'm not planning on going again. Which is just something I don't do no matter what movie it is. Unless there's certain cirumstances. But that happens very rarely. I'll buy the dvd when it comes out and that's enough for me. nicole_bell August 18th, 2009, 8:31 am Four times: once at the midnight premiere, then twice the next day, then again when it came out in IMAX 3D. potterrifick September 25th, 2009, 6:53 am I saw it thrice. one in imax and two on regular theatres. KATIE_94 September 25th, 2009, 8:42 am I have seen it thrice .....just waiting to get my hands on its DVD snapes_witch September 26th, 2009, 1:15 am Due to circumstances somewhat beyond my control, I wound up seeing HBP only once! Perhaps I'll go to the second run cinema after all . . . or just wait for the DVD. Noldus September 26th, 2009, 8:30 pm I have only seen it once! However, I've seen many clips on youtube several times so let's say twice :D eaglestreasure September 26th, 2009, 10:07 pm Once, but I really really really want to see it in Imax! DA93 September 26th, 2009, 11:04 pm I've seen it two times, once in London and once here in Norway :D I don't think i'll see it again untill DVD, DarkLord7 September 27th, 2009, 1:05 am Once I found myself not liking it much, which saddened me, so I will probably go see it again and give it another chance. Same. CrimsonZephyr September 27th, 2009, 1:30 am I saw it twice. Once with my family, and the second with a few of my friends. jallen September 27th, 2009, 6:02 am Saw it twice: once with my family and again with my class (a reunion because we were a split class). Both times I enjoyed it immensely, though the second time the person beside me kept on whispering these comments: "It's a SOAP OPERA, I'm telling you!" "Why doesn't malfoy just leave the cloak off the cabinet?" and he screamed quite loudly at every kiss. Very immature :) jp5 October 10th, 2009, 8:58 pm 3 times in IMAX. And I wanted to see it one more time :)... actually I just want to see it one more time but it's no longer in theaters. CowsRSkary October 10th, 2009, 9:22 pm Twice, once with my mom, a fellow Harry Potter fan, and another time with a friend of mine and his mother, and neither of them has ever touched one of the books. I almost screamed when I was with them, because the mom kept on asking silly questions like "why is Hermione so sad? You mean she likes Ron? That's ridiculous, she would do much better with Harry." I almost cried. ActingDude17 October 11th, 2009, 9:59 pm Six times... I win? cybobbie October 12th, 2009, 8:59 pm Wow, I saw it only twice, one on the regular movie theater and another on the 3D. I can't wait to get my hands on the DVD :) LoonyLovegood77 October 12th, 2009, 9:10 pm i only saw the HBP film once in theaters and i couldnt bring myself to watch it again...in my opinion it was worst only after the OOTP film (sorry 2 you guys that loved it I'm not trying to offend you) but i'll probably get the DVD when it comes out and after i watch it a few more times i might start to like it a little bit better captain Sparrow December 9th, 2009, 11:07 am I've only seen it once and it was in the theaters... I don't like the movies that much, but i guess i'll watch all of the movies again when they are all out... and i'll go and see the last movie (both parts) in the theatre when it comes... arithmancer December 10th, 2009, 2:42 am Two times...but I will be getting the DVD and can remedy that. :D gipro2003 December 10th, 2009, 2:49 am I've seen it once in theaters, and bought the DVD yesterday and am watching it for the 3rd time as I post this. jallen December 10th, 2009, 2:56 am As of right now, three times. I saw it at a store (they were showing it on one of their TVs) and I saw it in theaters twice. I'm getting the DVD on December 14th. sticky December 10th, 2009, 5:44 pm Three times in cinemas and twice since the DVD release =] Gaian December 10th, 2009, 8:15 pm I've seen it only twice, once in theater and once since I've got the DVD. I think I'll watch it tonight. Jack5555 December 10th, 2009, 9:41 pm I saw it 6 times in theaters. It is still in this one theater by my house, so I might go and see it again even though I already have it on DVD :) lilyfairy6 December 10th, 2009, 9:55 pm only three times I think. I originally wanted to see it at least six times in theaters, but sadly... ActingDude17 December 10th, 2009, 9:58 pm I saw it 6 times in theaters. It is still in this one theater by my house, so I might go and see it again even though I already have it on DVD :) Indeed, we are tied. You can hold what I know to be the CoS record if you go see it once more in a theater. TheWestTower December 10th, 2009, 9:59 pm One and 29/30 times in theatears. During my second screening the film broke minutes before the movie ended - hence the "29/30." Haven't seen it on DVD yet. 9th_Wonder December 10th, 2009, 10:06 pm Four and a half times. Two and a half times in theaters and twice on DVD. During my second viewing in theaters, the theater had to be evacuated during the cursed necklace scene. Apparently someone was running from the police and decided to run into the theater. I've enjoyed the movie more with each viewing. CandyCane23049 December 10th, 2009, 11:02 pm 4 times in theater and now 3 x's since in DVD. HedwigOwl December 11th, 2009, 6:17 am 3 times so far - 2 when it first came out, 1 in the second-run theatre Going out to get the DVD tomorrow, so the count will go up..... FleurDeLaPointe December 11th, 2009, 7:55 am Still 1. It doesn't compell me to watch it further even with the DVD release. Perhaps in the future. Googlie December 11th, 2009, 8:03 am 4 times :) snapes_witch December 11th, 2009, 8:50 am Still only once. The movie was so bad it wasn't worth the $3 to watch it in our really grubby 2d run cinema! I have the DVD now, so maybe I'll watch it later today. Too cold to go out shopping! Nandi December 11th, 2009, 9:23 am Seeing how disappointing 3 of the 5 other movies were i am not bothering with it anymore. YoungHermione December 11th, 2009, 3:18 pm I've watched my DVD two times and planning watching it few times until 25 December. merrymarge December 11th, 2009, 5:16 pm I've only seen the movie twice in the theaters. Once when it first came out and once when it hit the discount theater. Don't know when I will see the dvd. I can't afford to buy it yet and I'm number 143 for the library's hold list. nina__ December 25th, 2009, 1:53 pm I just watched it for the second time :) But since I got it for Christmas, maaaaany times are to come :D I enjoy it so much! Smartwitch15 December 29th, 2009, 2:14 pm I only saw it twice in theatres. once at the midnight showing and once with my friend and her little brother. I wanted so badly to see it with my friend who had just finished the book, but we never got the chance. Then I won the movie in a chinese auction at a christmas party and watched it on a really cold and rainy day... it was great! And then I got the blue-ray combo pack for christmas and watched it that night with my dad. So in total that's four times so far. I know that may seem like not that much, but I want to savor it! OlorinPotter December 30th, 2009, 8:24 pm 2 times in the theatres, 2 times on dvd, 2 times on my ipod Apheka January 5th, 2010, 7:54 am 3 times in the theatre, 3 times on dvd. Every time I watch it, I get more annoyed at what was left out but I've come to see more in the scene before Dumbledore is killed. Originally I couldn't believe that Harry wasn't jinxed but now I can see how it could be setting up Deathly Hallows by Dumbledore's insistence on Harry trusting him, whatever happens. Dumbledore's "Severus....please" isn't pleading but asking for the promised ending of his pain. It still doesn't make up for what was left out though. SwedishSkinJer January 5th, 2010, 8:06 am I've seen so many people complain about Harry standing under the boards before Dumbledore dies, but it makes sense: Dumbledore literally begged Harry to trust him before Malfoy approached, and Harry was still bound to the conditions: he had to obey Dumbledore's every command without question, even if it meant hiding. This was a nice bit of foreshadowing for how much Harry had to trust Dumbledore's intentions during the events of DH, in my opinion. In the movie, seeing Harry trust Snape (who Dumbledore had specifically asked for) who shushed him in a "Don't worry, I'm going to disarm the Death Eaters from behind" kind the way was very tragic. So, I think Harry remaining under the boards until it was too late showed how much he trusted Dumbledore's judgment, above all else...even if he had to question said judgment. mactheknife January 6th, 2010, 1:38 pm I've seen it twice. Once in the cinema and once on DVD. :) ilum921 January 6th, 2010, 6:09 pm 1 in theatres and a lot since it has come out on DVD! Perlidia January 23rd, 2010, 5:12 pm I've seen so many people complain about Harry standing under the boards before Dumbledore dies, but it makes sense: Dumbledore literally begged Harry to trust him before Malfoy approached, and Harry was still bound to the conditions: he had to obey Dumbledore's every command without question, even if it meant hiding. It's a good explanation and makes sense in the film - they did include a DD line that Harry must follow his every order...However it doesn't tie in with Harry's character in the books. He is too hotheaded and reacts without thinking (in most cases it’s a good thing - he has good instincts). I can't believe he would have stood by when the death eaters showed up. In the book he was struggling against his bonds. It's just not in his character, no matter how much he trusted DD or anyone else; I don't think he would have stood by. In the film however Yates has set up the whole trust, doubt and betrayal thing nicely. The only problem I have is I don't care about the characters portrayed in the films - I care about the characters in the books. The characters on screen are shadows or stereotypes of their originals. I watched this film three times in the cinema ... but couldn't manage to sit through a viewing on DVD. I don't think I will watch it again. There are so many reasons, but I don't care enough about this film at the moment to list them. meLzo January 23rd, 2010, 5:20 pm It's a good explanation and makes sense in the film - they did include a DD line that Harry must follow his every order...However it doesn't tie in with Harry's character in the books. In the book he was struggling against his bonds. It's just not in his character, no matter how much he trusted DD or anyone else; I don't think he would have stood by. I agree with that part. . .Harry is too impetuous to have stood there and watched Dumbledore die. In the book, Dumbledore pretty much froze him and made him invisible. The first reason he knew Dumbledore was really dead was because the spell broke. And we know what he would have done if Dumbledore hadn't frozen him because, basically, the second he's free, he goes after Severus (:() and the other Death Eaters. Anyway, as an answer to the question: This was my favourite book, and I wish the movie was a little better. Considering it's about the Half-Blood Prince, it really should have included more about Snape's past like the book did. . .plus, I really would have enjoyed some more Alan Rickman. But anywho, I've seen it once in theatres, and then too many times to count out of theatres. :p XoX FleurduJardin January 29th, 2010, 4:42 am Only once, when I went to see it on the big screen and that was enough. It's the only movie of the series I didn't even bother getting a dvd of. There are so many things done wrong in it, in my opinion. :grumble: Imzadi January 31st, 2010, 12:00 am Once at the cinema as we wanted the cinema effect. Many times since it came out on DVD. Because of where we live we often find that it is cheaper to buy a movie when it comes out on DVD. It is only particular films that we go to the cinema for, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings etc. mugglebrnwitch July 22nd, 2010, 2:20 am since its showing on HBO ive watched HBP around eight times....lol..im starting to memorize all the lines in the movie..... darthn312 July 22nd, 2010, 2:29 am twice i watched it in the theatres and when i bought it the day it came out, i stayed home sick that day to watch it and OotP nicholasmanning July 22nd, 2010, 3:26 am i watched half blood prince 28 times while it was in theatres PotterFanDuh July 22nd, 2010, 3:54 am I don't really count, but I'd say between 5-10 times. I only saw it once in the theatres but I have the DVD so I like to watch it at home when I'm in a Harry Potter-ish mood. MasterOfDeath July 22nd, 2010, 3:56 am i watched half blood prince 28 times while it was in theatres You really saw it 28 times in the theater?? :wow: I thought I was exceptional seeing it a total of 9 times in the theater! But that's unbelievably impressive! Wow! :D I haven't been keeping count but I've watched HBP on HBO, on blu-ray and DVD many, many times. Maybe about 30 times. I am obsessive :p (and just love HP and HBP is my favorite film yet) weasley9 July 22nd, 2010, 4:05 am I saw it 4 times in theaters, and I think I've only sat down to watch the DVD once, and that was when I first got it. I have it on my iPod, so lots of times I'll just watch it from whatever point it's at for a few minutes. I'd say I've probably seen it about 7 times total. It's my favourite HP film. MuggleGirl09 July 30th, 2010, 12:22 am I saw it once in theaters opening night, and have watched it about 2 or 3 times on DVD. :D guinevere_wood July 30th, 2010, 12:25 am I have seen it three times, once in theaters and twice on DVD.
