My Wand

I was re-reading the first book (The part where harry buys a wand) and I started thinking about how cool it would be to have my own wand. So, I researched different types of wand woods and cores and their magical properties. I decided to use Ash with a Basilisk skin core. I used Ash since it's associated with the Dark Arts and solitude. Also, the ash tree is said to ‘strangle’ the plants around it. I decided to use Basilisk skin, because these wands are incredibly rare, as the beasts are rare to begin with and hard to kill. The occasional new basilisk wand will almost always bond to a Parselmouth or budding Dark Wizard. Very little good comes out of wielders of basilisk wands. So, I got a pocket knife, stick, and sandpaper, and got to work. Finally, when it was done, I stained it and added a clear protective. It is one solid piece of wood & is quite rigid. It's strengths include the Dark Arts & Transfiguration.

Alright so i made a wand a while ago i found it and im trying to put the pictures up on here and i cant do it so if someone can show me or tell me how to do it on a mac that would be helpful its a nice wand and ill teach you how to make them if you want.

I'm in the process of making my own wand. Hopefully it will look even half as good as that one. If i got it that good I'd be happy
