Why is the Severus Snape thead closed?

I just logged in and saw that the Severus Snape thread was closed. Can you please tell me what we did wrong? I'm new here and I was really looking forward to posting on this thread. And now it's closed. Is this how things are done around here? This seems to be very tyrannical and unfair.

I've been here long enough and I totally agree.

The problem is that the staff mostly love Snape and they get offended if Snape is bashed. With such whole sale bashing of Snape going on the LS threads, they just had to close it. :evil:

At that point, the Mods had no choice but to shut it down or risk the collapse of the entire universe!

But at least we were unable to reach agreement on whether or not he wrote Twilight. So that's something at least.
