Growing up, my parents had a chocolate store in our basement. They made hand dipped candy and peanut brittle. I still remember smelling the peanut brittle throughout the house. At school, my teachers frequently searched my desk because I smelled like chocolate. Never took any to school though, my parents wouldn't permit it.

Wormtail is alive. he is here in AZ, at Arizona State University. He chewed some electrical wires and caused a power outage at the University. he might have gotten a small shock, but after what he went through with Voldemort, an electrical shock is nothing. lol.

I hate to say it since I more or less grew up munching on Hershey bars, but they're much inferior to European chocolate. Probably because they're made with sour milk! Eewww!

Cadbury, of course, is a British company, or was as it was recently purchased by the company that owns Hershey -- Kraft?? Hopefully the quality won't be affected.

French and Italian chocolates of the higher qualities remain in the memory as smooth, fruity, rich...*drools*

I'm okay with Hershey bars, as they're what I'm used to. I do like Special Dark better than their regular milk chocolate ones, and I enjoy an occasional krackle bar (with crisped rice cereal in).

Lindoor is good, I think, and Lady Godiva and Dove chocolates are also nice. I'd love the opportunity to try some real Swiss or Italian chocolates; I'm sure they'd be beyond droolworthy!

But, as Leah said, I doubt if anything in the Muggle world really compares to what's available at Honeyduke's. I bet Remus Lupin's bars are excellent, too; there's a Professor who really gets it about chocolate. :cool:

Was there ever a design concept for the MacNair Mocha? Maybe a chocolate brown mug with a scythe on? Or perhaps the mug should be closer to the color of the Red Velvet Cake, as I seem to recall the MacNair Mocha having a distinctive reddish-brown colour.

All my computer parts came yesterday, so today is going to be a Build The Computer Day. Wish me luck that I don't have a screaming fit trying to get everything to talk to each other -- the SATA hard drives seem to be the most peculiar. And you should see the big honkin' heat sink and fan I have for the CPU!!

The sun is shining, but it's so cold. And I had coffee 24 hours ago, so my brain is screaming for more caffeine now. It stinks to be so sensitive to the cold and to the caffeine!

Well, there is always Phoenix, AZ. It is now in the 90's. If you can't move here, maybe you can put up some tropical decorations around your place and think warm thoughts. To me, it's a trade-off. Roast in the summer while everyone else is comfortable and be comfortable in the winter while everyone else freezes.

Of course, will I OWL it? The Royal Wedding is on Friday. I'll be serving a proper Cream Tea, (only in my case, coffee) Scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, Victoria Sponge, gingerbread (gilded of course), and finger sandwiches. Champagne for afters. Orders please.

Where Sadira posted "sugary," for wanting a sugary treat, my eyes automatically "corrected" it to surgery. As in: I need surgery... and I was terribly concerned that we'd need to transport her to St. Mungo's for some proper Healing.

I need more sleep. But, since class is in less than an hour and I still have a couple parchments worth of homework to finish, I'll have to settle for a Lucius Latte. Do we have anything along the lines of a Cream Puff? It has to be a non-Snape-related cream puff for me, as excessive Sevviness tends to make me nauseous. ;)
