The Battle of Spells and Spiels

The Battle of Spells and Spiels is an entirely online talent competition set to begin March 2012. The show is for Harry Potter fans to show off their Potter related talents. Examples of acts could include: wrock music, fanfiction, speeches, cosplay, prose, poetry, fan art, dueling moves, dancing, etc. Participants can perform solo or in groups as big or small as you like. The show will be run similarly to the popular television series ‘America’s got Talent’. Contestants will send in an audition and from that we (the judges) will select 48* individuals to move on to the next round. From there on, the voting system will begin to take place. Every other week, the audience will vote for their favourite performers and the performers with the least amount of votes will be eliminated. This will go on until June 2012 when the winner will be announced. The Winner will get the chance to perform at PotterCon 2012, being held September 7-9 2012.
