Let me start by saying that I did a search and did not find any dedicated topics regarding the Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix. My apologies if this is not the case.
I have been a strong supporter of Sabriel, Lirael, and Abhorsen for many years now and it's rather depressing to me to find how few have had the chance to read these books.
For those who have read them:
1. Which book was your favorite and why?
2. Would you like to see more of the characters? Which ones and why?
3. What would you like to see in the upcoming book announced by Garth Nix (Clariel: The Lost Abhorsen)?
I’m writing CLARIEL: THE LOST ABHORSEN at the moment. It is set about 300 years before the events of SABRIEL, in an extremely settled era of the Old Kingdom, where is almost no threat from the Dead or Free Magic, and the Abhorsens are considered something between an archaic remnant of worse times and municipal rat-catchers. Clariel will probably be a 2013 release.
If you haven't yet stumbled across these books, check them out!
