Tablets running Android Operating System

The other day I got a new laptop and it came with an Iconia tablet as a bonus.

Now, how in the world do I use the darn thing? I've moved a few pictures to it by bluetooth, but I can't organise them into their own folders. And it doesn't even have a file manager.

And most of the programs installed on it want to connect to a wi fi network before they'll work, which doesn't suit me, as I work on moving trains...

I wish I could help! I've never heard of the Iconia tablet. Is it like a traditional tablet or the new kinds like Ipads and such?

Like an iPad. I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Still would have been good if they had included an actual user guide with it. All they had was a slip of paper which told you where you could download one as a PDF file.

I'm interested to hear what other users of Android tablets think of the operating system and the hardware they use.

Yeah, unfortunately, I've been having trouble connecting to the app store. I don't have a wi fi network at home, which means that I can only get only at public hotspots. There's probably a way to set it up so I can get online by connecting wirelessly to my laptop, but I have no idea how to set that up.
