What are your favorite quotes for Deathly Hallows Part 2?

Mine are:

Hermione: I'll go with you!

McGonagall: Boom!

Flitwick: You do realize we can't keep out You-Know-Who indefinitely.
Minerva McGonagall: That doesn't mean we can't delay him. And his name is Voldemort, so you might as well use it, he's going to try and kill you either way.

Minerva McGonagall: I've always wanted to use that spell.

Hermione: I've got an idea, but it's... MAD!

Professor Albus Dumbledore: Of course, it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it's not real?

Ron: Well at least we still have Bogrod.
*Bogrod gets flame-broiled*

McGonagall's I've always wanted to use that spell was funny, I liked that line.
And then there's Voldemort's famous NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! scream.

Lily: Harry, you are so loved. Mama loves you. Dada loves you. Harry, be safe. Be strong.

Harry: You'll stay with me?
Lily: Always.
Sirius: Until the end

Molly: Not my daughter, you B....!

Luna: Harry Potter! You listen to me right now! :lol:

Filtch: Where exactly will I be leading them to, ma'am?
McGonagall: The dungeons should do.

Lily: We never left.

McGonnagal had some corkers, literally a list of great lines.

Snape's 'Always' and 'You have your mothers eyes' were so touching.

Loved Sirius's 'were here, you see'. Hermione's 'Ive got something but its MAD' was great aswel. So many great lines!

Lily: Harry, you are so loved. Mama loves you. Dada loves you. Harry, be safe. Be strong.

This one kills me every time!

I love everything McGonagall says, I love Ron telling Seamus to shut up. I know there are more, but I'm drawing a blank! :hmm:

"How dare you stand where he stood", "Tell them how you looked him in the eyes - a man who trusted you - and killed him", and so on.

This sent chills down my spine. Such a well done scene.

I loved Luna's line when she was yelling at Harry. Also, the stuff that Ron said when the Room of Requirement was set on fire was great.

I also have some lines that I didn't like, but I'll save those for a different discussion.

In the RoR, when Goyle sends an AK at Hermione.

Also that whole bit Lupin says to Shacklebolt. I cant remember it all but Shacklebolt then says "Who said that?" and Lupin says "me"

I love how both Severus and Lily say "Always." :D

I also loved Harry's lines when he confronts Snape in the great hall. Well written by Kloves and well delivered by Dan.

Because it pretty much summarizes the whole series.

There were great lines in this movie, and many were plucked directly from the books, so it was fun to see great lines from the book acted out. People were going crazy when Mrs. Weasley says "Not my daughter, you *****!!".

Pretty much all of the above for me!

Besides many of the lines mentioned above, I also loved Neville's entire speech to Voldemort in the courtyard. That speech, along with the immediate aftermath of Harry's reappearance, is my second favorite part in the movie after TPT I think.

Yes! I was so happy about that i was even saying the line with him! My boyfriend was looking at me like i was barking mad. "You havent seen this movie....wait...that was in the book wasnt it?" Me: "yes it was! *sniff*"

an awesome line harry has when he brakes in to hogwarts, probably not exact but this is how i remeber it:

harry walks out of crowd and confronts snape, "i'm afraid your defesive stratagies are rather poor" door opens with order of phoenix crew walking in" and i'm afraid it's quite extensive!"

So heartbreaking. Definitely brought me to tears.

Everything that came out of Snape's mouth was memorable.

So many great lines in this film. Everything by rickman was especially great. I could go on for a while with this but one line I really like that I didn't see posted was...

Well, I must say I'd hoped for better, when Neville walked over to him limping. This line made me laugh so much both times I saw it. I have to admit though, I found nothing so funny about Neville's name, and I don't know why the DEs seemed to find it funny. In the book it made sense for him to be mocked, considering that Voldemort and some of the DEs must have known him and his parents.

Also I like how Voldemort delivers the Harry Potter is dead line and his creepy laugh after it.

And finally Harry Potter, the boy who lived, come to die.

While I didn't like it that Harry had told Ron and Hermione that he's going to the Forest, I liked it when Hermione offered to 'come with him', it was quite touching; great performance on Emma's part, :tu:.

Filch: Students out of bed! Students out of bed!
McGonagall: They're supposed to be out of bed, you blithering idiot!

Thinking back... "Only I can live forever" was a wonderfully creepy line to say just before committing a murder.

I think this one was particularly special to me because I flashed back to the first SS Charms lesson when Seamus somehow managed to blow up a feather. It was a great prior-movie reference without having to show the cutscene. I don't know, it just made everything seem more real.

I think all the ones I love have been said... Though I just really love all of Professor McGonagall's lines... "It's good to see you Potter" was quite lovely...and of course, "I've always wanted to use that spell!"

For those who've never read the books and are watching the film for the first time, it's a badass "get 'em" moment for Dumbledore's cowardly murderer.

But for those who are rewatching the film or have read the books and thus know the Prince's Tale, it's such a tragically ironic scene that it's almost a tearjerker.

Extremely well done and one of the few instances in which the films genuinely improve on the books.

I know it was different from the book, but that was SO powerful, oh my gosh. The tears were flowing.

Also, what Voldemort said about Neville, "I was expecting better," aha.

Yes, it was well done. They condensed a lot into a little in that Assembly scene. I wish it had been longer. I liked Snape's speech to the children, especially the ......"now," which was most menacing.

i don't know this one exactly but it's when Neville is asking McGonagall how they're going to blow up the school and McGonagall says something like "ask Mr. Finnegan. He has a lot of experience with things blowing up". :rotfl:

and the look on Harry's face when Luna tells him to "listen to me right now!!" is PRICELESS :rotfl:

Just about everything that came out of McGonagall and Snape. It was almost like Minvera provided the comic relief we needed while Snape rips out hearts out with heavy emotion.

I also loved the scene in the great hall when Harry showed himself and confronted Snape. His speech there was perfect, and well acted. I wonder what was going on inside Snape's head during this and what would have happened had McGonagall not stepped in. I also like how Snape deflects the spells at the Carrows. Nice touch. I LOVE this scene. I think it's the first time I've ever thought a big change from the book was for the better.

RON: That foul little git! At least we've still got Bogrod.

Dragon shoots flame, engulfing Bogrod. Pause.

RON: That's unfortunate...

SNAPE: Yes, but he thinks it's her son! He intends to hunt them down now, to kill them! Hide her. Hide them all. (pause) I beg you.



LILY: (to Harry) You've been so brave, sweetheart.



NEVILLE: They didn't die in vein. (turns to Voldemort) But you will! Cos you're wrong! Harry's heart did beat for us - for all of us! (wields Godric Gryffindor's sword) It's not over!

Definitely Lupin's line in my sig! and "who said that?" "Me." :D

And "Of course it's happening inside your head, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?" simply classic. I was so impressed with how well done that scene was.

And of course, Molly's line.

I do like the line when Professor McGonnagal says: I've always wanted to use that spell. and also when she tells Neville to blow up the bridge and then he goes how do dothat and she says. "ask seamus he seems to know a little about pyrotechnics"

I think its real funny cause the movie directors took that and made it their own, like they built it in every movie and they finally turned it into something useful and funny

Neville's wand and head appearing at the broken edge of the causeway, "That went well." It wasn't humour in the wrong place as some have said, it was just Neville and I loved it.

Dumbledore:"Of course it's all happening in your head...but why should that mean it isn't real?"

McGonagall:"BOOM!!"

Filch: "Students out of bed!!!"
McGonagall:"They are supposed to be out of bed you blithering idiot!"

Harry:" Hermione! When have any of our plans ever actually worked? We plan, we get there, all hell breaks loose!"

I also liked the whole speech between Harry and Helena (The Grey Lady). As well as Dumbledore and Snape's talk in his memories. Really amazing both scenes.

Hermione: "I'll come with you." *Heart breaks*

Neville: Boom?
McGonagall: Boom!

Anything Neville said, including "Yeah, you and whose army" Matt Lewis/Neville were really great in this film, which is great because I was terrified that they were going to mess Neville's story up.

Neville Longbottom - (to the Snatchers) Ya, you and whose army?
