1. If you could spend a day with any Harry Potter character who would you choose and why?

Choosing one is definitely difficult. I'd probably like hanging out with Lily Evans out of all the characters though. I feel that the books did not really have the opportunity to explore the character that she was, seeing that she was unfortunately rather dead to begin with. She seems like the perfect person to get to know. Lily's beautiful, vivacious, compassionate and non-judgemental, seeing that she could remain best friends with Severus Snape, a Slytherin, for five years. I would love to see more of her and spend time with her. She was indeed a rather special person.

2. Which Deathly Hallow would you choose?

I thought of the Elder Wand instinctively. Absolute power is always something very attractive, even to the best of men. However, the paranoia and danger associated with having that much power would be something I would not be able to deal with, I think. I would ultimately go with the Invisibility Cloak. It seems very practical a tool and you could go anywhere you like and do whatever you want under the guise of invisibility, away from the prying eyes of society. The Invisibility Cloak, also, is something that isn't as conspicuous as the Elder Wand, and the burden of owning a Deathly Hallow isn't as huge as it would otherwise have been. The Resurrection Stone is ultimately tragic and I believe that it's essentially something that would bring even more pain to oneself.

3. Which magical pet would you bring with you to Hogwarts?

An owl seems like the most convenient choice. It is an efficient method of communication and it could even allow one to keep in touch with friends and family. As the Magical World does not seem to have many modes of communication, owls would be the best choice. Toads and cats simply cannot compare to the sheer convenience that an owl brings.

4. What would be your favorite subject at Hogwarts?

History of Magic seems rather interesting, provided Professor Binns isn't the one teaching the bloody subject. Transfiguration, though, might take the cake. I always wanted to be an animagus. Defence against the Dark Arts is a very practical subject that is worth learning too, so it'd be high on the list. I think astronomy, potions and divination may earn my dislike, however. I was never too good with Chemistry and the rest just seems awfully boring.

5. If you could ask J.K. Rowling to write one thing what would it be?

I would like to ask her to perhaps write a short sequel to Harry Potter, with a Slytherin as the protagonist this time. It doesn't seem fair how the house is always portrayed in a less than favourable manner in the books. Even Snape and Slughorn, 'good' Slytherins, are perceived as unlikable characters; the former being a loathsome bully of a teacher and the latter being more interested in establishing connections as compared to doing his job. Ambition, cunning and determination could be used for good, and yet we don't see a single Slytherin being part of Dumbledore's Army, for example. Perhaps it would be good to create a relatable, likeable Slytherin for once and to reinforce the idea of house unity, that despite your sorting, it doesn't make you any better or worse as an individual. We have our Pettigrew in Gryffindor and our Quirrell in Ravenclaw. Therefore, we should have a Sirius or a Harry in Slytherin to show that Slytherin House isn't an entirely nasty place of dark wizards.

6. Would you play Quidditch? If so which position?

I'm not exactly very athletic, but I think I would make a good Keeper. I have shown good promise being a goalkeeper at school, and although I'm not that agile or light, I make up for it with my sturdiness. Alternatively, being a Beater might not be too bad. I doubt I'll be a Chaser or a Seeker though.

7. Which magical career would you choose?

I was thinking mainly of Magical Law. I am rather interested in becoming a lawyer in the real world and to do that in a world with so much capacity for danger and crime would prove interesting, to say the least. Alternatively, a career as a Healer or an Auror might be a reasonable choice as well. Healers, like doctors in the real world, is a noble profession and while I would never think of doing medicine in real life, perhaps being a Healer would be less intensive. After all, with magic, one would not have to do too much surgery and stuff, yeah? Alternatively, being an Auror is awesome. While I don't fancy the thought of throwing myself into danger all the time, catching criminals and protecting justice has always been a strongly held ideal of mine, and in the magical world, I would be able to accomplish this as an Auror. I would still think a career as a Prosecutor for the Ministry for Magic would be most appealing, however. I could use my interest in law to fight dark wizards for justice. That would be ideal.

8. What would your patronus be?

I'm not too sure myself. My favourite animal are lions, but I don't think I'm that powerful, noble and aggressive. Perhaps a large dog or something might work.

A brief personality overview of myself might be useful at this point.I'm usually quiet unless I'm around people I'm really comfortable with. I'm ambitious and single-minded about my ideals that I hold very strongly. I'm very idealistic and I would like to make the world a better place and be remembered for that. I can be extroverted and chatty or introverted and competitive depending on the situation. I do have a tendency to be judgemental and prejudiced against certain sorts of people, and I'm quite mean spirited around people I dislike. I wouldn't think of myself as being very brave but I do stand up to authority when it's something I hold very strongly in. I tend to act before I think, which has cost me dearly. I'm a compulsive worrier and have a tendency to aim for perfection.

With all these qualities, maybe a German Shepherd? I can't really say for sure.

9. Which magical place would you most like to visit?

Hogwarts, definitely. Nothing else comes remotely close.

10. Pick one house you would prefer not to be in. (Optional)

Nothing, really. Everything's fair game.

Hufflepuff :huff:

I sense a strong need for justice and fairness which I think dominates everything else.

I see parts of every house in your profile, particularly Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Because you recognize your ambition I'll have to go with...

Slytherin.

I think you're a Slytherclaw, but I'll say Ravenclaw, just so you'll have a vote for each house. :rotfl:

Not Slytherin! Power just looks cool, you're being honest, not covetous!

And though your talk of justice kind of begs Gryffindor to me, I feel like you are overwhelmingly concerned about fairness because of your giant answer to #5.

I just think overall you were pretty modest and realistic. Down-to-earth, Hufflepuff. :agree:

P.S. ...I personally think of Regulus as a kind of 'Sirius' of Slytherin. ;)

You're well spoken so I think you'd fit in well in Ravenclaw.

You'd fit well in any house, I must say! Overall though, your concern for justice and particularly #5 says Hufflepuff to me.

Oh man she is such RAVENCLAW ! Very practical about all things, but it was close between that and Hufflepuff. You're definitely a Huffleclaw like me! :) <3

i will go with my first instinct which was Ravenclaw - but it was a very close decision.

You do have some Ravenclaw tendencies, but I think you're more of a SLYTHERIN :slyth:.

I would say :rave: Ravenclaw :rave:, but you have quite a few Slytherin qualities as well. I think you could do equally well in either house.
I'll vote Ravenclaw.
