If you were cast in the films, which character would you want to play?

Luna 100% i love her character and her part of quidditch in HBP, my friends said that they pictured me playing that roll, and since her involvement in OoTP i just love her. she is my favorite so and our personalities are kind of the same so i guess it wouldnt be a stretch. except she doesnt have any snogging scenes so then i would jump to hermione or ginny.

I really don't think I'd suit any of the female characters in HP. The closest one would be either Ginny or Luna.

Hermione most likely...Voldemort is a close second...i mean the bad guy is always the better actor :p

I'd love to play Luna! It's far easier to play an outrageous character, or one that isn't really like you. Except I kind of am on her wavelength, what with the randomness and all...
Plus I'd only have to get my hair a few shades lighter. And I'd get it straightened for free! Booya! I dunno about the protuberant eyes thing, but my eyes have looked pretty messed up since second term of the past school year. I probably look too old though.

I would definitely be best suited for Luna. I have dirty blonde hair, its not waist length but bring on the extensions! I have the whole Huge Eye thing going for me, im only 12 but my cousins boyfriend thought I was 14, so I could pull it off. I also can keep a sraight face in any situation and I have a sort of dreamy personality sometimes.

I don't know. I don't think I'd want a huge role, maybe just an extra so I could tell some people I was in a film but not be recognised wherever I went. Fame wouldn't suit me that much, I'm not a very confident person.

Hermione. Evertime I re-read the books, I never fail to say 'That is exactly like me' when she says something. Our personalities are extremely similar.

I would definitely be Ginny, because she's my favorite girl character and i look like how she's described in the book, with red hair and brown eyes. Though Bonnie looks like I imagined her too.

Ginny. I think she's become a fantastic character. Hope they dye Bonnie Wright's hair bright red for the Tower battle scene so Harry can see that "red hair flying like flames."

I think I'd prefer to play an evil character, much more fun. Of course I'd want to play Bellatrix Lestrange then, a very interesting and certainly evil character. I hope the person they cast will be good. Also, playing the younger Lily would be fun, she's outgoing and very clever. Two rather opposite characters.

I think Milicent Bulstrode is the one who's big in the books...but not quite sure. I don't think Draco would date a big fat girl though, so it can't be pansy.

Like a lot of others, I'd want to play Luna, definitely. That would be sooooo much fun. It might be hard to keep a straight face during some of her lines though.

i guess i'd like Harry(yea well it's obvious!! he's the Chosen One, Boy Who Lived) but i could be Dumbledore too.

I'd really want to be Fleur Delacour. She was always my favorite character in the book, kind of cool and aloof but she did turn out to be very friendly and nice in the end. Her personality really matched mine..... and the fact the Beauxbaton uniforms are the best.

Besides the fact that I am a guy I match Hermione's personalities. But thinking like an actor it would be a pick between Voldemort, Snape, or Dumbledore for me. I like to act as wise and powerful who talk slowly and softly for the most part but give off the air of either supreme evil, extreme knowledge or superiority/disgust.

I would want to be Dumbledor, or Filch, or McGonagall, or even Harry...because those people have the most interaction with Snape/Alan Rickman.

However, considering the fact that I'm an Indian teenage girl, I would probably most likely fit the parts of either Parvati or Padma Patil. That would be fine for me though! I think I'd fancy being either Tonks or Bellatrix. Tonks is just an uber-cool dudette when she's not all love-sick, and Bella, I know she's evil, but she really intrigues me, I want to know as much as can about her character, and I think she would be so much fun to play. Being evil is so much more fun than being good.

I'd be perfect Hermione, I have brown eyes, brown hair (wavy not bushy though) and even large front teeth (mine hasn't magically shrunk though :grumble:). My character is so much Hermione-ish it's scary (ok, I don't memorize textbooks, but hey, she's a caricature and I'm human). I'd be PERFECT if I was younger and British (such a detail). So, that would be fun, because I just know I'd nail her :D

I would love to be Hermione because of the connection between her and Ron, and I think I can be a lot like her, but I don't think on screen that I'd be able to capture the true spirit of Hermione, and so I think it would have to be Luna that I would go for.

I can be wild and crazy sometimes so I think it would be quite fun, and also I wouldn't be so hard on myself and my acting as I would be if I tried to portray HErmione.

I would either play Hermione or Ginny or maybe even Lily in the Pensive scene. They all are independent and all can have an awesome temper. I am not really picky, as long as I get to be in the movies.

Hermione Granger, of course! I'm exactly like her in reality; it's quite...strange. I think I'd make the part. I can relate to her so much.

I would love to play Hermione. I love that fact that she is smart, cool, and ends up with Ron. I would love to be in the Weasley family.

Ginny. She has really great personal strength, she's compassionate and can look after herself (last two parts is me all over) and definately can have a good laugh.

Luna. It'd be awesome to act totally weird on the set. She doesn't care what other people think of her and that takes a lot of courage. And I'd get to wear radish earrings.

Dumbledore of course. He is wise, powerful, and knows alot more than he ever leads on. Not to metion he is the greatest wizard of all times. His only flaw is being a little to nice.

I would love to play luna lovegood! I don't look like her at all but our personalities match(we both are certifiable!) and i think she is the only character who has original personality and she is the most fun. I like her above all else.(except sirius) If i were a guy i would love love love love to play sirius black. I love him that much. I miss him and i want him to come back (this is the part where i start crying-boo hoo sirius is gone!)

Ginny, definitely. She kicks butt and she's got a fiesty tongue. I'd like scenes wherein she tells the kids in her class who pick on Luna to bug off. I'd love to play Hermione in the 7th movie because of...some reasons. (crosses fingers and hopes Hermione and Ron finally start snogging on the 7th book :grumble: ) :D

Hermione for me! I was a bossy know-it-all just like her when I was younger (now I am a slightly less bossy know-it-all:p), and I love Hermione! I wrote a Harry Potter skit for my Theater group, and Hermione was definitely my favorite character to write and cast. If I could have played her, I would have!:D

If I were cast in the HP films, I'd love to be Hermoine, for sure. But, more than that, I'd have loved to be myself in the film if there were 4 characters.
This is just what i would have loved but otherwise Emma's role is be the best suited one.

I'm way to young, but Arthur Weasley would be alright, he's a strong sependable character, not too showy, but not too frightened to stand up for what he believes in.

Hermione- my favourite character.

The only character I could physically fit is Parvati Patil, so maybe her. Otherwise, I'd love to play McGonagall- she's so brilliant, I'd want to be her, even if it's only acting.

I would want to play Professor Umbridge. She's so terrible. I dispise her. Yet, I love being the bad guy when it comes to doing theater and stuff. So yes. Umbridge.

My appearance doesn't fit anyone in the novel. Still, I wouldn't want to be a main person. Maybe someone like "Slytherin Boy #4" or something like that.
