Which HP film prop would you love to own?

I read on Mugglenet and heard on my local news that the Ford Anglia that featured in CoS has been stolen. Police thought probably by a Harry Potter freak. So that does not really narrow down the search then? Could be any of us guys..
It made me think about all the wonderful props from all the films and how much you would give to own one.
My questions:

1) Which prop would you love to own?

2) What would you pay for it or what would you sacrifice to get it?

I want Hermione's dress from the yule ball for my junior social so bad, she has the same body type as me and is the exact same height so it would probably fit! lol

A giant chess set piece. I wouldn't be picky about getting at least one of them but if I got to choose which one I wanted, it would be the Knight I think it's called... The horsey one.

Cool question! I'd love to own a set of Hogwarts attire. A hat, robes, scarf, house patch, and so on. Mostly because I could wear it. ;) It would also be awesome to own the sorting hat, if there were actually one that wasn't CGI. What would I give to have these? I don't think I'd pay a lot of money or sacrafice something huge. It'd be cool to own them, but I'm not that desparate..

Buckbeak, and of course I mean the REAL Buckbeak. I would also like the clothes. Not sure what I would sacrifice. Depends on what was asked of me.

I would love to have the Dementor costume (I saw the LV costume from the forest PS/SS in real life) and that one is so scary. I don't know what I'd pay for it, I'd rather win it. It would be too cool to have anything. The hat movie prop isn't that special as you just put it on and it says the house. Also the galleon coins would be great.

Hmm, quite interesting, I would want the Goblet of Fire from the upcoming movie. That would be awsome.

It's posted before, but I agree: the firebolt (and maybe a quidditch-set with it). Definately. I just don't know how to push Hogwarts in my room...
By thinking of this, I assumed it would work, and the prop maybe doesn't. But's still the firebolt, although I think the nimbus looked much better.

I would really like to own the Firebolt, which looked really cool in the film, Harry's trunk, his glasses, the earrings Parvati Patil wears at the Yule Ball, those swirling objects, whatever they were, in that room where Moony was teaching Harry how to conjure a Patronus, the Knight Bus, the Time Turner aaaannddd.....be back with more.

I'd love the sorting hat myself :) And the suggestions for anamatronics are good, I'd be happy with anything, especially Buckbeak. Maybe some portraits too, the Fat Lady perhaps, because it'll look good in my hallway. Or a suit of armour! I'd position it looking out the window so the people can see it from outside! Or Hagrid's Hut if that counts, it would be a really nice place to sit and read in the summer. Failing all that... I guess I'd be happy with just a spoon or something! :eyebrows:

If anyone seriously wants to buy props www.propstore.com sells props. At the moment they don't have any HP stuff (except backstage/ promo things) but it changes all the time and is well worth keeping an eye on, GoF isn't listed yet so I guess when they list that there will be a large amount of props for sale (certainly worth looking out for) I can only imagine all the great stuff that will be up for grabs once they've completed all the films and don't need any props anymore!!! :drool:

So many props to choose from and so little money. I collect Star Wars movie props and it puts a strain on the checkbook as I'm sure HP props would. I'd take any HP movie prop that my checkbook could handle. Nothing I'd want to part with in a swap and I'm not about to degrade myself for a prop, no matter how much I wanted it. LOL

I think the Ford Anglia from CoS is still missing. I have heard nothing since it went missing. A search on Ebay also brought up nothing. Or I would have put Bidnapper on it. :evil:

I have no idea why...but it's just this weird natural thought that always popped in my head. :)

Just one prop? I dunno if I could narrow it down that much, but I do follow the path of trying to turn my house into a mix between the Weasley's house and Snape's office. Right now, it is probably closer to 12 Grimmauld place though...no Kreacher, but I'm convinced we've got a snake slithering around in here somewhere. Oh well, can't blame him; it's cold out there! I guess you could call my house Slytherin then! :D

How about Hedwig? Not a prop, I know, but I wouldn't keep her in a cage. I'd give her a perch near the house and let her hunt the back yard (it's a REALLY big backyard, though!)

Sleeping bag from PoA. They were so purple, fluffy and beatiful... Besides that, Time Turner as a piece of jewelery, DADA projection machine with slides was really cool too and some spinal candles.

I think I would defnitely want to own the invisibility cloak and the small version of wizards chess.

I think that I would probably do whatever it took to get those things within reason. I mean I would LOVE to have them in my possession, but I am not going to sell my soul or act tooo desperately to get them.

I really can't decide on just one prop I'd like to own. I'd like Hermione's time turner, school robes, and a wand, the Weasely's clock and quidditch balls.

2) I'll stowaway on a ship, and walk to Leavesden Studios once the ship gets to England. Then I'll pretend to come from a charity and ask if I could have the broom for a charity auction. If that doesn't work, I'll sweet-talk and bribe the props people.

-a giant chess piece, preferably a knight, and preferably the one Ron was on

Tricky question...actually, not that hard once I think about it. I'd like to have Fawkes, but only if he was a real phoenix. :) In terms of real props I think I'd like either one of the instruments in Dumbledore's office or one of his books.

Aw, just one? I would love to have Harry's Firebolt or even just his wand would be cool. Oooh, and the Goblet of Fire. The Triwizard Cup, Gryffindor's sword and the Ford Anglia would be nice too. I'd kill for a full set of Hogwarts robes...that would be awesome. Meh, I can't pick one. :p

Well actually i do already have most of the wands. Replica's of the one's from the movies that is.

I got Harry's, Hermione's, Ron's, Draco's, Snape's, Dumbledore's, and Voldemorts.

I also have Lucius Malfoy's Cane/Wand on order and have an eye on the time turner aswell.

There are too many to choose from, however one of my top choices would be Gryffindor's sword. I've been trying to get a replica for awhile, but haven't had the time. It would be much better to have the real thing, in my opinion. Although, I wouldn't be disappointed if I was able to get a wand used at some point or the Goblet of Fire.

I want the Leaky Cauldron! I'd move to London and run it! If it hadn't been for the fact that it's just a set.... Still, it would be the pub of my dreams!

Does Fawkes count as a prop? I'm sure this has been used a million times, but I would love to have Fawkes. Actually, I think I'm confusing myself here because a prop Fawkes used in a movie is useless. If I'm to choose a technical object to be defined as a movie prop, I would choose the Weasley clock.

2) What would you pay for it or what would you sacrifice to get it?
I wouldn't hire a hitman to off the competition or anything that extreme. I'd probably go to Fear Factor lengths though :lol: Or, pay a lot of money.

I'll have Daniel, Rupert, Robert Pattinson, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Stanislav, Jason Isaacs, Tom Felton, Ralph Fiennes, and a particular tabel in the great hall that I really fancy.

Gimme! Oh and having Lucius his walking stick would be nice. I'd take it with me everywhere, and poke people with it XD
