Dunno! I've never thought about it before. I like dogs, so maybe a dog- preferably a German Shepherd :D, or maybe a tiger or cheetah because I am quite fond of those large cats as well. :D

I thought that if mine weren't to be a cat, it would probably be a panda as well. :) But I don't know if that's because of my personality or just because I've been called "Manda Panda" since I was a baby. Haha.

Mine would definatley be a horse, like Ginny I believe. I also think that the form of your patronus takes to an animal of your preference or one that is closley revolves around your life. (if that makes sense) Horses have been in my life for as long as I can remember. My happiest moments have been on horses.my mother evan used to ride. For example: Harry's mother's patronus is a doe, hence Harry's is a stag. Professor Snape's was a doe because of his undying love for Lily. Tonks' changes to a big four legged thing. Which I believe was either sirius as a dog or Remus when he was a warewolf. those are the only connections I can think of, but I'm sure there are more.

I absolutely love elephants and think they are so similar to humans in many ways. If you don't believe me, just do a bit of research! They are such admirable animals. I absolutely adore them. So mine would definitely be an Elephant...

Mine would be a Kodiak. Big, strong and fearless. Not to mention, I've grown up in the mountians where the kodiak roam.

A wolf. The engimatic killer. Fast, Silent and, Deadly but, beautiful in song yet, mystical in looks.

A Ram, cause my birth zodiac is a Ram. I love mutton also. Ram tend to be quite docile until someone threatens their territory or their brethren, then they ram them.

A wolf, or a duckbill platypus, because I can be fierce and eccentric.

A female fox—in other words, a vixen. My hair's pretty thick and I have a lot of it, no matter how many times I get it thinned out, so that would kind of be like fur. Er . . . sort of. Foxes are actually pretty solitary animals and weary of humans. I can be shy around unfamilar suroundings. Plus, I absoutley love foxes.

Seamus's Patronus is a fox, I believe. It mentions during the battle at Hogwarts, when Harry and the others are outside and the Dementors are around. Luna and Seamus come to the rescue.

A dog of some sorts, either a Siberian Husky as I grew up with them, I had one teaching me how to crawl, or a Pomeranian, my second love of the dog world. If not a dog either a dwarf hamster or a penguin.

For most of her adult life, my grandparents (now just grandmother) had a large wooden and glass cabinet full of artifacts they had collected from their travels (they used to be world travelers, but apparently the gene never passed to my mother seeing as how I haven't even been to Canada) and there was always one artifact that I could not keep my hands off: a little two inch crystal figurine of an owl. Even before I got into Harry Potter, every time I visited my grandparents I would take the owl from the cabinet and hold it in my hands. I would always beg my grandmother to let me keep it, and she would just shake her head. A year or two ago, my mother told me that she had a replica of that same owl in our display cabinet, and as long as I promised not to harm it in any way, she'd let me keep it in my room. I was elated, and now it sits atop my dresser, facing the direction of my bookshelf where all of my Potter books are.

Okay, I know that was a completely useless story, but the point I'm trying to make is that if I could produce a Patronous, it would look like a moving version of my crystal owl.

Another interesting question would be what your happy memory would be to produce said Patronous.

oh snap! but because where I grew up my best friend's dad was a stalker but he tagged peregrine falcons, and there was also eagle nests a couple miles from my house.

It would be a dog or a dragonfly. I've always lived with dogs. They are loyal, caring, kind, and can be ferocious when they need to. And I think dragonflies are simpley beautiful. They are insects, but they are so gentle, and...magical. I've always been drawn to them, I really don't know why. I also read that dragonflies represent 'illusion' and I think it's perfect for me.

Well, I think that a patronus's form represents whatever it is that makes you happiest (Harry--stag--memories of his parents, Snape--doe--his love of Lily, Hermione--otter--an otter is similar to a weasel and obviously Ron makes her very happy.) So, based on that, I would say mine would take the form of a guinea pig. My piggies are so important to me, and I love them so much. They bring me more joy than anything else.

This is a really difficult question. If I got to choose I'd say a lion simply because they are one of my most favorite animals, and I like to think I'm a brave person :lol:

Probably an enormous war horse since that reminds me of my love of reading fantasy novels and my love of riding horses. Plus they are hge, beautiful intimidating animals.

My patrounus would probably be a wolf because I would feel safe with one. I personally see myself as either a duck or a songbird, but I don't see one as my gaurdian. If my Patronus wasn't a wolf, it would be a hawk.

When I fly, I don't open my eyes during turbulance or when we're flying the first stretch of over-ocean flight until I've engrained the image of my children into my very soul. That image is the last thing I want to remember if something should happen, and my kids are the first people I want to see when I land. That memory would produce the most powerful Patronus I could ever muster. I think Elephants are very powerful with their huge tusks, trunks, and body mass. In history, elephants were used in battles in some cultures. The females are good protectors of their young, and elephants have good memories. I'd see the Elephant Patronus raging through a group of Dementors and know that nothing could stop me from reaching my kids. :love:

I think mine might be a wolf. I love wolves, they've got a wild side, but they can also be pretty tame sometimes if they want, and they're also very loyal if you play your cards right with them. Or maybe my Patronus would be a mongoose, because they're my favorite animal, and they're tough. So, I think it would be one of those two animals for sure. :D

My Patronus would be a Lion. Lion's are Brave and Strong. I am brave, and strong, (not the type of strong to lift 300 pounds, I mean with a strong personallity etc.) this is some of the reasons why I think my Patronus would be a Lion. And I think the image of a Lion bursting out of a wand, roaring, with its bushy mane moving as it charges down a hord of Dementors is pretty cool.

I would like to be some sort of insect [insert Rita Skeeter joke here]. Most obvious would be a bee of course... although it would probably be easier just to be an ant or a beetle. That would be easier to hide, people generally notice bees and start to scream around them.
Some sort of insect would be the most convenient. I would be able to listen in on any conversation, be virtually invisible... it'd be great!

I've thought about it a lot and have never been able to decide. I guess it would choose me from the following:

Vixen - something I've been accused of more than once, and just darn beautiful animals

Wolf - Strong, beautiful, and smart with a strong sense of family.

Phoenix - Love Dumbledore's Patronus. I've always loved mythological creatures...and I live in the Phoenix area.

Small Dragon - Mythology thing again.

Cat - I have 3.

...But I think I'd hope for a Fossa. They're unusual, sleek, cat-like, agile, small-ish yet ferocious.

moondust, patroni seem to be based on the wizard or witch's personality. So in a sense, one does get to choose their patronus.

My Patronus would probably be a Hawk. I'd like to think so. Why a hawk? I tend to be the observer in many situations as well as try to see more of everything. I'm always trying to understand what's going on as well as what is out there. As secondly, flight. That would be the most brilliant feeling - just flying by myself (no, not on a plane)...such freedom and lightness...

I always felt like I had some feline nature about me, so I my first thing I thought of would be a Black Panther BUT I did research and it turns out that there is no such thing as Black Panter :wow: it is just a term used for black jags or darker lepords!! My patronus would defnitely be a turtle... can decide exactly which kind, but probably a stinkpot... they are my favorite... incredibly cute when they try to act vicious.

Mine would for sure be a butterfly, b/c I like butterflies. They are just so beautiful. Also, their whole process of metamorphosis from a caterpillar is pretty cool. To me it is not only an actual change in nature, but tells me that change is possible on a bigger scale. i.e. it takes a lot of work, but it is possible for a person to change at their very core if they so desire.

A puma or a black jaguar. Love big cats, even more when they're Latin:D

I have a really strong pull to both birds and rabbits so I think my patronus would be either of those.

I took the Daemon test, and it gave me a crow because I am "modest, inquisitive, spontaneous, proud, and sociable." How I can be both modest and proud at the same time is beyond me! :lol: At first I thought the animal was a raven, which I kind of like better than the crow because crows seem almost too common and somewhat vulgar to me. I mean, they aren't usually represented in a good light, are they?

After all that, I would probably say my patronus would be a raven.

Unless, of course, it's a romantic attachment, in which case it morphs into the other person's patronus... but if you've got a romantic attachment to a dog, you might have a problem. ^^
