So cats are pretty much the most popular choice. Makes sense, not many people don't like cats and they can be very protective in the right circumstances :)

That is such a good question! I really never gave it much thought. I guess I would also have to say a cat mostly because of their independance.

mine would probably be a doe ( i thought this even before i knew about snape or lily's) they have always been my favorite animal. There are a lot of them in my state, and I just think theyre beautiful. I feel like i have a lot in common with them, they are pretty smart, although not the smartest. They are big, yet they move with such grace. And they care about each other, and look out for each other. Just peaceful, gentle creatures, like I believe I am.

A Water Buffello (sp), my Grandfather had a farm in India and when I visited him, I rode them and fed them. Plus they are strong and pretty frearless, have been called the most dangerous hoofed animal in the world!

I had always been quite certain that mine would have been a bird of prey. But even though this is a different series entirely, it isn't completely invalid to take into account that I took a quiz on the Golden Compass movie website to see what my daemon would be. It ended up a tiger to my shock; that would have been one of my last guesses.

I don't think so because Umbridge had a cat patronus and it was doing a fine job at keeping the dementors away from her and the others when they were holding their "trials".

I think it is just what a patronus is made of and not necessarily the size of it.

I don't know how you get a patronus, like what qualities are for what animal. If I could choose, minature dragon or a phoenix. If I was a witch, I seriously wouldn't be surprised if my patronus turned out to be a dragon or phoenix.

I would have two! Being born a Gemini I believe would force this to be different in order to reflect both sides of my sign. One I imagine would be a Cougar/Mountain Lion for my love of the feline species and a Seal for my love of the ocean's gentle side.

Its always been my favorite animal, and I think it would really fit with my personality.

Though I have an affinity for lions, my Patronus would undoubtedly be a wolf, for much the same reason that Snape's was a doe and Tonks's was a werewolf. The clearest animal representation of the woman I love is a wolf, 'cause that's her favorite animal. Considering how obsessed I am with the girl despite our year and a half apart, I'm quite certain that if I had a Patronus, it would take the shape of a wolf.

Interesting...I just took two quizes and my results were a wolf for both. They're definately great animals and I really like their character traits (it does kind of fit me), but I was hoping for something more along the lines of a bird (my favourite animal). I took a quiz and it said my Patronus would be a white tiger. Which I actually agree with on so many levels. Taking the above quiz though, it says mine would be a dragon. Although...now that I think of it...I'd agree with that one too. Depending on which happy memory I'd base my Patronus on. I'd feel protected by either one.

I've been trying to figure out what my Patronus would be for so long - but I've come to no solid conclusions. I like to think that I'd have one of the four 'Big Cats' as either my Patronus or my Animagus form (Lion, Tiger, Panther or Leopard) with my preference being a Lioness; an Arctic Fox would be lovely also. I am a proud Gryffindor, and I value courage, bravery, pride and my morals above all else, which is why my Patronus would be something majestic and proud. :lol: :D

Before I took any quiz, I imagined that my patronus would be that of the one animal I have felt the closest to all my life: a German Short-Haired Pointer (my friends refer to it as "the anemic Great Dane", though it's not that big). Brave, but often foolhardy, rushing into situations without really carefully thinking about it, being true to it's personality; dogs are wonderful companions.

In my quiz, it doesn't give you what you want. It just asks your choice, just like the sorting hat, but that doesn't mean you'll get what you chose there. It sort of adds a point to it, that's all... :) I thought about it a lot before making that quiz...

Yeah the problem with quizzes is that your patronus can be any animal and there's no way to make a ton of results.

A chocolate lab! The dogs, there are white labs, chocolate labs, and black labs. It's brown. They're....like...not golden retrievers, they're short-haired but about that size....um...yeah :p

And my Patronus...I love pandas. I love them. But that would not be a very good Patronus, it might just sit and eat bamboo. Or I'd be like, "Panda! Defend my honor!" and it would be really slow and peaceful. :lol:

So I think my Patronus would be a lynx like Kingsley Shacklebolt's. More wild than a domestic cat but not too out there. Sorry Panda Patronus...

Yes a chocolate lab is a chocolatey brown labrador retriever. I understand that a Patronus will be silver-white, but maybe my lab will have a bit of a brown hint to show its difference from other colored labs. :cool:

All Labs I have known are supersweet and gentle, children's playmates, good runners, very good swimmers, very very good eaters, open to lots of different people, and quite fearless. Also, I love chocolate and I love the color brown. :p I'd love to have a choco lab as my protector.

Mine would be something like a scorpion with a vicious sting or a hedgehog that rolls itself into a ball. :evil:

So now I would have a cat, owl, and killer whale patronus. Wonder what that would look like if I combined them?

My patronus would be something like a porcupine, and it wouldn't charge down the dementors like a normal patronus it would shoot spines from it's back which would make the dementors go running home to their soulless families. xD

I think mine would probably be a crow. Not the elegantly named Raven which is more awe inspiring to behold. But a common crow. Simple, common, but fiecely family oriented, and clever. I would hope it is a crow anyway. :)

I took a test on quizilla and I'm a Wolf! I think it fits my character real well. I'm quiet, mysterious, and rather secretive, yet I love to help people, but in secret. I think the character of the wolf is like the Lion, but unlike the lion, the wolf does things in total secret. That's me for sure!
