What Form Would Your Patronus Take? v2gawainrobards August 16th, 2008, 5:17 am Mine would have to be a dragon because its so mystic and mysterious Severus_Snape77 August 16th, 2008, 5:08 pm No matter which quiz I take, it always says "Wolf" So I am going to assume it's a Wolf. REMEMBERALL August 16th, 2008, 5:17 pm I just took a quiz and it said mine would be an Otter:err: I don't want to be an otter..I want to be an owl or a bat :) aishah August 31st, 2009, 12:30 pm Mine'd be a peacock (: xXLilyLunaXx August 31st, 2009, 9:38 pm I know I'd want a silver hare just like Luna, but I really have no idea what form it would in reality take. I really love birds, so I think it could also be an eagle or raven. Perlidia August 31st, 2009, 10:13 pm When I was being sorted I said a Meerkat because I couldn't think of anything else. But I think I would love to have a sphinx. DarkLord7 September 8th, 2009, 12:22 am Mine would definitely be a snake. I love snakes. planetary September 8th, 2009, 2:09 am Mine would probably be a centaur. They're the most fascinating creatures to me, with their knowledge of the cosmos. It's too bad they distrust humans so much. FirstOne617 September 11th, 2009, 5:30 am I took a test on this and got a killer whale. All I know is that is the single most awesome thing I can thing of. Lennon September 13th, 2009, 7:27 am Phoenix, thats what I would want. But I would probably actually have a Wolf. cathairetic September 14th, 2009, 4:35 am A snow leopard. Big teeth, paws and claws. FirstOne617 September 15th, 2009, 6:04 am I did get a horse once... BTW, Lennon, awesome sig. Love4Luna October 10th, 2009, 12:38 am A leopard Tonks_Animagus October 28th, 2009, 7:43 pm What kind of question is that? This... http://www.cosforums.com/picture.php?albumid=1360&pictureid=11825 KeepItDark October 28th, 2009, 10:59 pm either a wolf or an eagle. those are the two that come up when i take those little quizzes. biscuitsforall December 10th, 2009, 11:22 am Like a lot of people I keep getting Wolf on those tests. But I want a Fossa: its unusual, they come out at night, are territorial and eat lemurs. Just like me. captain Sparrow December 15th, 2009, 9:45 am I'd like something cool and impressive like a lion, panther, eagle... in the tests i actually got an eagle, but I also got a wolf, a whale and a hedgehog. Melissa_Potter December 24th, 2009, 2:17 am This question has plagued me ever since I read Prisoner of Azakaban YEARS ago  I never could really pinpoint a perfect Patronus. But recently I thought of a honeybee, and the more I think about it, the more and more it seems to fit! I can be quite content and peaceful, but if you threaten me or someone I love, you WILL get stung (with my words). Plus, my name means 'honeybee' in Greek. Unfortunately, it's not one of my favorite animals and I'm afraid of them  Plus it looks pretty wimpy, considering how small they are. Just imagine me yelling "EXPECTO PATRONUM" and out pops a tiny little bee. I wonder if Patronuses (Patroni?) have to be their actual animal counterpart's size? It makes me wonder what it would look like if a character had a whale Patronus... MC2456 December 31st, 2009, 2:51 pm I just took a quiz, and I'm a Lion. Why does that surprise me? In *real* life I'd probably be a cat, lion, wolf or bat. *squeak* HannaPotter December 31st, 2009, 9:00 pm A hedgehog or a wolf! DarkLord7 December 31st, 2009, 10:45 pm My patronus would definitely be a snake. It would slither through the air as if it was swimming! :D Siriusandme January 1st, 2010, 2:17 am I hope a wolf... I love wolves. Duke_Franiks January 30th, 2010, 3:06 am Mine will probably be a panther. pigtheadhdowl April 2nd, 2010, 2:56 pm mine would be a ferrett. i dont know why. maybe a chickadee. can you imagine dementors running away from a two inch tall bird? impetus April 3rd, 2010, 4:26 pm a squirrel...most definitely ravenclaw1999 April 3rd, 2010, 7:51 pm Mine would be a monkey. I'm smart, energetic, cute, nice, and trustworthy. honigmuffin April 4th, 2010, 7:39 pm I'd love to have a red panda for a patronus, they are so cute! Or maybe a cat. merry18 April 4th, 2010, 7:59 pm I think mine would either be an eagle (or any type of bird) or a cat. I'm going to modify my answer. My patronus would be either a hawk or a leopard. Nagini001 April 5th, 2010, 3:48 am A snake.....Sly...and very sneaky...I guess like me? :) Sirius_Weasley April 5th, 2010, 6:44 am A T-rex -- dinosaurs are so big they can drive away millions of dementors at once! xp Teghan9559 April 5th, 2010, 5:54 pm I don't know. I thought it would be a lion , but just a cub, because im not that powerful. then i got sorted into gryffindor. lol maddielyne April 6th, 2010, 1:35 am Mine would be an Eurasian Bittern, which is a type of heron, which is a type of bird. The reason being that it voyages in solitude usually, can blend into its surroundings easily but simply standing still, and it usually is active mostly at night. I'd love to have a red panda for a patronus, they are so cute! Or maybe a cat. Red Pandas are absolutely gorgeous! I didn't think many others knew about them. boscoSeven April 8th, 2010, 9:02 pm An amoeba. Definitely an amoeba. Amoebae are so cool. But only a giant amoeba, mind. MC2456 April 13th, 2010, 5:28 am My Patronus would be: H1N1. OK, sorry, I was reading the paper. Mine would be a dragon. DorrisTheClock April 16th, 2010, 3:11 pm Mine would probably be a Golden Snidget ;) LordVoldkins April 28th, 2010, 11:22 pm Could a patronus be 'evil'? If so... Mine would be a serpent JayPetey May 12th, 2010, 5:03 pm A Fox no doubt. If not that, perhaps.. a Canadian Goose? Weird, I know. I'm just fond of them, they're calming. winky45 May 13th, 2010, 8:08 am Mine will be a dove. I just thought. I love hare, I love swan, something cute and pure. So I thouhgt of dove. Winky45:clap: ThestralGirl418 May 26th, 2010, 8:50 pm I'd be a marmoset. They're very people oriented, like me, and they make a lot of noise, like me =P captain_mills May 27th, 2010, 4:37 am A Wild Mustang... Lots here in Wyoming... Strong neck, Tall, Noble, Fast! MinervasCat May 28th, 2010, 5:59 am I think it would be a unicorn. I love unicorns. Or, maybe it would be a cat, that would be neat, too. firebird June 6th, 2010, 2:36 pm Definately a wolf. A Large timber wolf. (I'd like to be a wolf if i could become an animagus as well) griffynclawjami June 7th, 2010, 12:03 am Hmmm. Me, either a Kangaroo, a Panda bear, or a Yellow Tang (fish). PhoenixGirl111 June 26th, 2010, 8:51 am I researches animal meanings to try and find for me and my friends and found out i'm a falcon. The Falcon:freedom, spirit, intensity And i've always wanted to fly... Lemongrass July 22nd, 2010, 5:37 am My patronus would be a gazelle. evaparker23 July 28th, 2010, 5:13 am I need help; I don't know what mine would be -______- Melissa_Potter July 29th, 2010, 12:32 am I need help; I don't know what mine would be -______- It's hard, isn't it? Some people choose their favorite animal, others choose one most like them, and some choose one that looks cool. To come to my conclusion, I thought about what my name meant and what values I admire in people or myself. If you need help, I have a book that has a short list of what some animals symbolize. So if you give me an idea of your personality and what you value or would like to symbolize, I can make some suggestions :agree: elursoboh July 29th, 2010, 2:08 am a panther maybe....or a cheetah merrymarge July 29th, 2010, 5:24 am I'd like a panda bear for a patronus queenofsugar July 29th, 2010, 6:01 am I'd probably be a big black bear, but I'd love to have a thestral as a patronus; they're odd-looking and strange, but I still love 'em to pieces. loonytick July 29th, 2010, 6:44 pm I think some kind of bird. Maybe a sparrow or a small owl. Possibly a dachshund as well. evaparker23 July 29th, 2010, 7:33 pm  It's hard, isn't it? Some people choose their favorite animal, others choose one most like them, and some choose one that looks cool. To come to my conclusion, I thought about what my name meant and what values I admire in people or myself. If you need help, I have a book that has a short list of what some animals symbolize. So if you give me an idea of your personality and what you value or would like to symbolize, I can make some suggestions :agree: Yeah, well I want to pick one based on my personality (: Lets se... uhh....this is hard, describing yourselff... Strong, brave yet not (idk how else to put it), full of pain, understanding, somthing that doesnt seem too dangerouss, and can be very gentle, but can also be prettty dangerous. Wand_of_holly September 1st, 2010, 7:04 am Mine would be an otter. I know Hermione's was an otter, but I do not think mine should be one because hers is. I honestly think hers should have been a long haired cat. Anyway, I am really fun to be around, and try to get as much out of life as possible. :agree: Pigwijon September 16th, 2010, 10:29 pm Whoa. I haven't posted here in forever, or, anywhere on the site for that matter. XD Figured I'd go ahead and repost what I think mine would be, because last time I posted here was about two years ago, I think, so. XD; I think that my patronus would be either a wolf or border collie. :3 EDIT~ Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure my patronus would be a wolf, and border collie as my animagus. ;3 chocolatefroggy September 16th, 2010, 10:38 pm Mine would be a giraffe: it's one of my favorite animals I think my personality would be more reflected in my animagus, which I'm still trying to decide on. Prince659 September 17th, 2010, 6:07 am A seagull for me...or a seal. Seagull or seal? One of the two, anyway. APolaris September 17th, 2010, 6:19 am Mine would be a dolphin. They're vastly intelligent, elegant, kind, gentle, and helpful - or at least, they are when they're not engaging in certain horrifying acts towards one another. They are also the sort to stand up against what's wrong and against the so-called "norms" or "natural" order, even against something seemingly much stronger (physically, anyway) than themselves, such as a great white shark. At the same time, their level of emotional and intellectual depth can sometimes drive them to unconsciously self-induced madness. BJMJOOO October 15th, 2010, 7:22 pm Mine would be an otter. I know Hermione's was an otter, but I do not think mine should be one just because her's is Me too!! :D The_Gryffindor October 17th, 2010, 3:45 pm I'm thinking penguin for me, seems right, my fav. colors are black and white, I've always loved penguins, their sleek, sly, and if you mess with one, the outcome could be dangerous. Green_Arrow October 17th, 2010, 3:52 pm I'd like a panda bear for a patronus Wonder if they would allow the 'owner' to use them as teddy bears at night? :hmm: Cissy_Malfoy October 20th, 2010, 7:44 pm Probably a snake. It just kind of fits my personality. :) cathairetic April 28th, 2011, 7:06 am A snow leopard. I would like something large with big teeth, fangs and claws. kmhm April 28th, 2011, 1:40 pm Dragon. It's powerful, but it could control its temper... to a certain limit. Grymmditch April 28th, 2011, 4:45 pm What's it mean if your patronus takes the form of a Dementor? ..I think I'm in trouble.. katielouise April 29th, 2011, 11:35 am I'd imagine mine would be a cat... I love cats xD Colin_Creevey April 30th, 2011, 3:30 am Wow so many people would have cat patronuses. Personally, I think mine would take to form of a badger, small yet powerful. horcrux4 April 30th, 2011, 5:45 am I'd have said a cat if Umbridge hadn't had one, so I'll upgrade to a tiger. Lisl_Loveheart April 30th, 2011, 8:59 am I have given this a lot of thought. It took some soul searching but I decided my patronus would be a Blue-and-Yellow Macaw (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue-and-yellow_Macaw). You see, I’m Brazilian and I live abroad. I felt like my patronus represents the love for my country, it gives me an incredible feeling of freedom and it’s colors make me smile (I know a patronus is silver, but still!). Draconia_07 May 2nd, 2011, 7:37 pm I'd like my patronus to be a white wolf or a dog Husky. A white wolf loner because it's such a mighty animal, beautiful, powerful, brave and cunning. Loner because it lives away from its pack, doesn't need it. Loners are quite rare because most wolves are within a pack, while loners only need their mate and children. That's quite what I am. A dog Husky because it looks like a wolf. Good enough for me XD thesevensydneys May 2nd, 2011, 10:21 pm Either a lion or a wolf. Or possibly a boxer dog. I have three boxers and I deffinalty could see my patronus being a boxer. Boxers are strong-willed, loyal, and just playful happy dogs. feeney May 10th, 2011, 12:29 pm A dolphin, living free and loving life nartyteek May 20th, 2011, 9:47 am I said in my sorting quiz, "Florida Panther, since I love swamps, have camouflage (freckles/moles), tawny hair, and a terrible temper when my loved ones are threatened" but my happiest memory involves rescuing Loggerhead sea turtles when I was a child so that would probably be it. The panther might be appropriate for an animagus form, though. ProfessorWooton June 13th, 2011, 8:02 am I think mine would be a rabbit. They are shy, but when they warm up to someone they are great friends. I also had a pet rabbit once, who was very important to me. emmalune June 17th, 2011, 8:57 pm That's tricky question.. Do you guys think a unicorn could be a Patronus? Cause in that case.. mine would definitely be a unicorn. Otherwise, maybe a cat or a sparrow? LillyColak July 13th, 2011, 5:25 pm a friendly dog or a lion cub which would eventually grow into a lion EXPELIAMUS July 14th, 2011, 8:52 pm A genie who grants me infinite wishes. Coppelia July 15th, 2011, 1:49 am Probably a ring-tailed lemur. As I value their wackiniess, individuality, cosy/cuddliness and innovative ways of going about life. It also reminds me of the thing I love most. (But if it was a lemur, having an Aye-Aye might work best as they have to be the most fearsome of lemurs!) Having said all this though it'd be cool if it was something sly and mysterious like an Arctic Fox or an Ocelot. Hannah_337 July 24th, 2011, 2:11 pm I'd like to think that it would be something strong like a lion or a tiger but I doubt it. I think mine would be a bird of some description. Not a magpie because they're unlucky but maybe a raven, or a crow. Maybe a buzzard. Actually yes, because there are several where I live and I think they are so beautiful, the silent awing way they float over the landscape. GrimeldaDursley July 25th, 2011, 3:17 am I had thought an elephant, but maybe not. An Australian Shepard dog. Smartest dog I ever had. amymarcella August 4th, 2011, 11:46 pm Some kind of dog, or maybe a horse. I would love either of them. My friend once said that mine would be a Turkey... honestly  LupinsHowl786 August 5th, 2011, 2:49 pm Definitely a tiger. They are agile, powerful, and beautiful animals. RosieWildsmith August 14th, 2011, 12:56 am I like to think it would be a wolf. I've loved them since I was little. I like to think I'm courageous like a wolf and loyal (wolves mate for life, did you know that?) hpgeekinpink August 14th, 2011, 9:51 am I think i've decided that mine would be a Bengal cat. Domesticated, yet wild. MerryLore August 14th, 2011, 2:54 pm An Angelfish. I think they're gorgeous, and I can imagine one swimming through a sea of Dementors. TheWelshGreen August 14th, 2011, 8:30 pm I said in my Sorting Hat post a couple of weeks ago that it'd be a dog but I've seriously reconsidered that answer since. My patronus would probably be a tawny owl. There's quite a few where I live and you can often hear them during the night. I just adore them to bits. :agree: http://www.lloydbuck.co.uk/images/tawny_owl/tawny_owl_06.jpg MinervaRonDobby August 28th, 2011, 11:22 am I think mine would be a duck... at home on land, on the water and in the air :) ShaunaSnape August 28th, 2011, 4:40 pm Mine might be an owl. If I had to escape from Azkaban I would likely be mistaken for a messenger. It would also be easier to escape with flight. I am still considering a falcon because they can fly faster than any broom. If I am in danger, I take off Rookie_Angel August 29th, 2011, 11:55 pm I thought I had answered this but I don't see myself in this thread. I think mine would be a kangaroo. They're unique creatures (I'm pretty unique myself) and just thinking of one--how they look and move--is a happy thought just in and of itself! They are cute and fun to watch, sometimes funny, but strong, fast, and powerful when they need to be. Yup, a kangaroo. Nielo August 30th, 2011, 12:25 am Either a cat or a penguin. I just don't know which I love more or which would end up being my patronus. Cats are probably faster though, although I'm not sure if patronuses take the actual speed of the animal into account. Lotoc_Sabbath August 31st, 2011, 7:15 pm I have 3: 1) A phoneix (I belive it is the most probable) 2) A fox 3) A Rabbit WelkinCooper September 22nd, 2011, 11:49 pm A lemur mirrormere September 24th, 2011, 5:53 pm Mine would be a horse--spent too much time galloping across the fields on their backs to be comfortable with anything else. However--if one's patronus and one's animagi have to be the same, then I'd want it to be a winged horse or Pegasus, if that were possible, so that I could fly. A hippogriff is just not quite the same, but I'd probably take that if I had to. PhoenixQuill89 October 7th, 2011, 7:28 pm Mine would defenetly be a fox. Outside a dog, inside a sly cat :3 BlueScarecrow October 19th, 2011, 5:06 pm I've always thought my patronus would be a black jaguar http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/fc/Jaguar.jpg/220px-Jaguar.jpg I love their tails! r0sie444 October 22nd, 2011, 5:31 pm Squirrel. Quick, playful, but hidden at the first sign of danger. MrsPimlico November 21st, 2011, 10:58 am Mine would probably be an Eagle :) asdfasdf17 August 9th, 2012, 4:22 am A kitten! Rew August 11th, 2012, 1:31 am My Patronus would almost certainly be a labrador retriever. I've been a dog lover since before I was even old enough to walk. And by far the most beloved dog I've ever owned is my black lab Lindsay (who alas passed away in 2009). I live in a house where we have three other dogs, and though I own--and love--them all, I don't really consider any of them mine per se. Later in life, I plan to adopt another lab of my own. :3 Blue_Pikachu August 15th, 2012, 8:00 pm Mine, would definitely be a cat. I have one, and I couldn't live without it. But it always annoyed me that Umbridge's also was a cat (stupid woman! Why didn't you take a toad if you looked so much like one?) so, if it wasn't a cat, I think it'd be a wolf. When I do personality tests, I always end up looking most like wolves. So yeah. Rew August 15th, 2012, 8:21 pm Mine, would definitely be a cat. So yeah. Maybe your Patronus would be a Pikachu. :p Verena August 15th, 2012, 8:34 pm My Patronus probably would be an eagle, a horse ... because they give me the feeling of freedom and for me the freedom is very important. storyteller September 8th, 2012, 9:05 pm I can't remember if it was a quiz, but I mine would be a fox, because they are smart and sly and know how to avoid trouble. Goddess_Clio September 10th, 2012, 4:56 pm If I could choose an animal I would want to be a cat of some sort. I would prefer a tiger as they are my favorite animal but I'd honestly take anything from a lion to a housecat. This is especially true if I have to also have this animal as my animagus form. I did a patronus quiz once that gave me something totally weird (at least to me) like a rabbit or something. cathairetic September 18th, 2012, 8:42 pm A big, scary snow leopard with giant teeth and claws!!! storyteller September 25th, 2012, 11:30 pm Hate to tell you, but snow leopards are not very big. They can jump 30 feet though, so they are still pretty cool. merrymarge September 27th, 2012, 1:31 am Pig. No one has mentioned a pig patronus, so I would like to be first. Pigs are different, they can be loyal, dependable, cute. |
