Harry Potter wands

Hey everyone! I haven't been online in a while, but I wanted to show everyone some wands that I made for a display a couple of weeks ago.
From left to right,
Ron, Dumbledore, Harry, Sirius, Voldemort, and Moody.
- please share your thoughts!

You guessed it! I'm actually making up a tri wizard set next, on another site someone requested I make one for them. I already have another Harry done, but I still need to make the other 3. I'm also almost done with another Voldemort, and after I finish those up I'd like to make up a Barty Crouch wand, cause his just looks so cool!.. Forgive me if I spelled his name wrong.. :p

Oh it would be so cool to have Voldemorts wand. That one is great!

I really like those! Only I think you should have broken Ron's and taped it up with Spell-o-tape. :evil:

LoL about the Ron wand, I actually made that for a friend and he said to do the same thing! But I modeled that off of the PoA wand which doesn't see much screen time, in fact I don't even know if it was on screen at all, can't remember. lol
The one in CoS is different that the one in PoA so if I ever make a CoS wand I'll probably do that broken wand with tape, but that wont be until after I make this triwizard set which someone requested I make for them on another board.

Wow! Nicely done! I'd love to see the triwizard ones when they're done. =D

Will do, I already finished another Harry wand for it, and I made an extra Voldemort just because. :p I don't know what I'll do w/ the Voldemort, maybe I'll make up like a bad guy set w/ Voldemorts, Barty C jr's, and a deatheater wand, I dunno.

Those wands are great! I have all the wands that the Noble Collection put out. Yours look more realistic than Nobles. I love your Lord Voldemort wand.

Thanks for the comment, that means a lot comming from someone who owns the NC ones! I have seen one of the NC wands in person, it was the Harry Potter wand. I was also surprised that it didn't look as detailed, in the paint job as mine, but those are mass produced so your bound to loose some of the details in tha process. Still was an awesome wand though! My Voldemort wand is actually half an inch shorter than the NC wand, as I read an article discussing wands, and to my surprise it said the Voldemort wand was 13 1/2 inches as opposed to the 14 inch NC one.

The Harry one looks kinda purple from the flash, but thats not the case in real life. The flash also flushes out a lot of the detail in the Krum wand.
Also, heres a pic of the new Voldemort next to the Old Voldemort.

I touched up the wands a little bit, and repainted the harry wand so it was redder. This set is already sold, but I still have to finish the Fleur wand before they go out.

I used hard wood, then shaped and carved it, I did a lot of touching up via sand paper, sculpting, etc. It's a long process, but in the end it works. Good eye btw! I sealed those wands with a type of wax gloss which can be polished, etc.
As for the Voldemort, I'm going to put the extra one on ebay soon.
