Ummm I love the Gilmore Girls theme song( my sister and I always sing it. Its my favourite show though so I may be a tad biased. I love Americas Next Top Model theme song. The Appretice's theme song I like. "Money, Money, Money..MONEY!" And you know that reality show "The Biggest Loser" where people lose a bunch of weight. I think the theme song is really sweet. Also "Friends" Who doesnt love that one.

I think my favorite is the song at the end to the cartoon Dragonball, not Dragonball Z, but the one where Goku is a kid. It's just cheesy, but perfect. I also like Scooby-Doo and Carnivale.

I know the thread says "favorite theme song", but I really hate the Smallville credits song. Nothing against the band - Remy Zero - but after hearing "Somebody SAAAAAAAAAAAAVE me!" over and over again, it gets really annoying after awhile.

My favorite two theme songs are from my favorite two shows: Beverly Hillbillies and Happy Days (both fit the show well). The Beverly Hillbillies theme (with the lyrics) is amazingly funny, fitting, and it tells the background of the story so that you don't have to watch the very first episode.

I really like the theme to the Office, but my all time favourite is the theme song to the show Train 48. It was a show that was on here in Canada,but it's not on the air anymore. The only words to the song were'nananananana train' It was so bad that it was good.

On second thought, it might be the theme song to M*A*S*H*. It's really cool.

My ALL TIME favourite was the ORIGINAL Theme song from ER. Especially during the first three/four seasons when Greene, Ross, Benton, Carter, etc worked. I loved part where Ross does that "Yes!" gesture in beat to the one note. The ORIGNAL theme caught the true feeling of the show and atmosphere of most larger City Emergency Rooms and usually fit in with the opening scene of each episode.
My current favourite is HOUSE. Although it's not "flashy" in that it shows Doctors rushing here and there, it still gets the point through.
The other favourite is Cold Case. The woman's voice at the beginning grabs your attention and it shows the seriousness of the show.

The House song is Teardrop by Massive Attack.

Did anyone watch the show Everwood? It was cancelled last year (a shame, too, it was a wonderful show). The theme song was played by a violin and it was really pretty, it gave me a lump in my throat every time I heard it.

I like the theme song to CSI.... I think that was the reason I tried watching it, because I liked the theme song... after the song ended there was a close-up of a fly buzzing around something rotten.... then the camera zooms out.... and it's a mangled weeks-old corpse with its face blown off!!!

Me: ew...

Funny thing was, a while later I ended up watching the beginning of a CSI ep and it was the exact same one with the guy with his face blown off!! hmm.

Anyway...

i also love the oc theme song, california. i actually loved watching the theme song almost as much as the actual show. same with the gilmore girls. the theme song also has to have good moments from the show, which is what those two did.

i know it isn't really a song, but i love the 'theme song' for the colbert report, with the eagles and him taking off his glasses, i find very funny.

I second that. I loooooove the Dandy Warhols, so I was always really happy to see their song as the theme for my favourite show. It's funny how many references to the band you can find in the show - they use a few of their songs in a few episodes, Veronica has a sticker in her locker that's a reference to one of their album covers, the lead singer appears on the show, Veronica quotes their lyrics in an episode... aah I love it.

Anyways, I kind of liked the remix for the third season, but not as much as the original.
