This one is a picture of Oliver Wood, called "Oliver's Sanctuary" (hopefully for obvious reasons). He's probably in his seventh year.

This is for those of you who can still imagine someone else playing him other than Sean. I mean I love Sean, but he didn't quite fit my mental image of Oliver. This doesn't exactly either, but it's close. And there are a lot of things wrong with him, but he's lovable.

I know that this is a smaller focus of your picture, but I am seriously admiring your jeans! They are great, the texture and they look so realistic.

The background/foreground was unbelievable! You are a very skilled artist, and your representation of Oliver is much closer to my mental image of Oliver. Congratulations and thank you!

Super picture of Wood, just as I imagined him as well. You do magic with your pencils. [If I have the medium right, guessing from the textures]

Nice drawing! Just curious--why's it titled 'moony.jpg'? Was it originally going to be Lupin?

*frowns* Hum. . . well that's strange. When I saved it it was called 'olivers_sanctuary.jpg'. Are we talking about the same image? :??:

Oh, maybe when I saw moony.jpg loading, it was somebody's signature picture. Silly me....

EDIT--Yeah, now I see, it was probably Bouncing Ferret's signature jpeg I saw loading.

Still....sexy Oliver ya got there...

oooooooooooooooooo aaaaaaawwwwwwww. I love it, see it ooo-ed and aaawwww-ed. Really great man. I love the use of shading and stuff it's really great. The pose you put him in make me think of some sort of that desert place, um in erm Las Vegas. I can't remember but it makes me think of it the way he is poosed and how the backround is. What can I say, it's late for me.

that's a really cool picture but i've always thought oliver was very much like sean biggerstaff. that's the image that was in my head and that will stay in my head. your picture sort of doesn't have much of the innocense and bluntness that i thought oliver had.

still, it's a really cool picture..

Oh wow, that is brilliant Until_Dawn, and actually looks a lot more like the Oliver imagined (altho i love love love Sean). Your shading is great!

Wow, thanks everyone who's commented. :blush: You guys really keep me going. *hugs*

I've worked on this picture a bit, and basically darkened it up. I 'fixed' a few other things, but I'm not sure it did any good. :sigh: Let me know what you think of the "new" picture.

Anyway, the pictures are a great! I can tell the difference from what you did in the old one and the new one. The new one you smooth out his facial features. As for which one I prefer, I'd take the new one. I looks better.
