Seeker: Harry
Keeper: Ron

I heard this one crazy thought that Hermione could be a chaser. Wouldn't surprise me, actually, she's really smart at whatever she studies up, even if she's not 100% enthused in the sport "At least my happiness doesn't depend on Ron's goalkeeping ability."

Where'd the Creevy rumor come up? Maybe they'd be good commentators, that's it...

Dean would be good for a beater, since girlfriend Ginny's on the team, maybe he'll be dragged on.

I mean Harry will have a lot on his plate as it is and he doesn't need the responsibilities of a Captain to go with it. I think that Ron will make a great Captain, and he'll also probably get Harry's help. He also has the experience of being a Prefect, although that's not necessarily a guarantee.

Apart from that the other people in the team could be Ginny, Katie Bell, and it would be interesting to see the Creevy brothers as Beaters but for some reason I don't see it happening, but with jk you never know ;)

We all know ron will be captain Because DumbleDore + Mcgonnagall will think that harry has got enough to deal with and thats ron i think will be head boy because of them toThe reason that I don't think this is true is becuase first of all it was only Dumbledore who thought Harry had enough on his plate and I am one of those who believe that he's realized that he was wrong in thinking that. The next thing is that although Ron is definatly a candidate, I don't think he'll just get it because Harry will have eneough to deal with. Yes, Harry has to fight Voldmort sometime in the future, but in the meantime he will be at school and this is the perfect way to get his mind of his troubles and do something he enjoys.

I think that Ron will be the captain of Gryffindor team. He is very good in chess so he would be a great tactician, but he's too shy to talk to a large group of team members. ;)

Lol... Does Ron chess abilities make him good at thinking about Voldemort's plan ? No. Hermione could be a tactician too o_o

Ron being captain would be BAD. Harry doesn't have any more problem with giving orders to other people (OoTP, D.A.), is one of the world's best seeker (when Charlie Weasley says "Where's the Gold Snitch ? Where is it ?", Harry just answers "Krum got it.", and Charlie would have been good enough to play in Britain's Quidditch team.) Just imagine Harry's skill. He is popular, and would be a great Gryffindor symbol.

I can't see Harry as captain (remember, the best player is not aways the captain). As he knows quidditch for only 6 years, and play as a Seeker(that's an isolated position, he does not have to pay attention to the other players) he probably knows very little about the tactics for the Chasers and the Beaters.

But also, that is the captain, not the coach, but it seems that the captain is ALSO the couch for the Hogwarts teams, so I can't really see him gicing long speeches about tactics as Wood did.

As for Ron, I think that he should be the captain, if he were in the team for a little longer. It will be only his second year, and I can't see him telling Katie for example what to do if she was a player since her second year.

I can see really no one that fits the for the captain post

I think (for many reasons) that the new beaters will be the Creevey Brothers. Think about it, and see if you don't agree.

I think Katie is in Seventh Grade in book six... but I'm not too sure. If so, then I think the positions will be like this:

Chasers: Katie (also Captain), Ginny, ?
Beaters: Sloper and Kirk
Keeper: Ron
Seeker: Harry

I thought Katie was in her last year. The years are vague on the non-"starring" characters. You have to look close at the books, the answers aren't clear.I think there's a thread on them somewhere.

In this editorial it says that Katie is still in book 6... but I dunno if she is or not.

Keeper: Ron
Seeker: Harry
Beater: Kirk ( or what his name is )
Beater: Sloper
Chaser: Katie ( i think she should be captain, since she is the oldest of the team)
Chaser: Ginny
Chaser: maybe a new girl to keep the all girl chaser thing going

I don't think Ron will be captain, he is too new to the team and already a prefect(which should have gone too Harry if we remember what Dumbledore said). So if Katie won't be captain it will be Harry 100%.
