View Full Version : Realistic Cho Chang
June 28th, 2003, 12:44 pm
This is Cho Chang in the fifth book.
I did this drawing (like all my drawings) entirely out of my head, I didn't look at a photo or something. I'm kinda proud of this one because it's my most realistic looking Harry Potter drawing.
When I look at my drawings I can see how I have improved. First I drew eyes to high and noses sideways while I drew the face from the front :D
Ah well but I'll stop talking, here's the drawing:

I just gave her hair some highlights.. she's described as having shiny hair. Did I overdo it or is it ok?

Ya, maybe too shiney, but the picture is really great!

Nice - the only thing is - and it's probably just me, the eyes look just a bit off... almost like she's cross-eyed.
But then, i've been staring at the comp screen for 3 hours now, so it could jsut be me

VERY real hun!!! Looks great!!!! Change the hair if you like, it's your drawing, but I think its fine as it is!

That's excellent and very fun because exactly as I imagined her facially... the only difference between that and my mental image is I gave her wispy bangs and shorter hair.

You're right, there were more people who noticed it so I changed it, she's not cross-eyed anymore :)

Maybe she just gets the shinyness from some magical shampoo we don't know about. :D Anyways that's a nice drawing there.

I really like it. And, judging from the bits I believe I've seen from you before on the forum, you really have improved. She's Awesome!! She's very pretty, but not unrealistically so, if you catch my drift. I like how you drew her eyes and nose. Well Done!

Very good!! You weren't kidding when you said it was realistic!

That is an awesome piece or work! Amazingly close to how I imagined her. You captured her character so well.

I like the hair, I don't think it's to shiny. It reminds me of Sadako Yamamura from the movie Ringu.
