Erm, as many may have noticed, there were significant additions to the list of Weasley Wizard Wheezes.

New:
-Skiving Snackboxes
-Weasley's Wildfire Whiz-Bangs
-Portable Swamps
-Extendable Ears

Anyone want to share ideas on these? Your favorites?

Well I thought the Portable Swamp was extremely clever of them. The snackboxes are pretty cool too, and useful. I wish I had some Weasleys in my school to get me out of classes...

The snackboxes were pure genius on the weasleys' part. I really do hope their joke shop in Diagon Alley works, it's a fantastic idea and they'll do far better than that muddy Percy has.

Actually, if you think about it, book 4 had a preview of the fireworks, when they were getting in the taxi heading for Platform 9 and 3 quarters and the fire works went off in the trunk. This may not be the same thing, but cool anyway.

I think I love everything except the Ton-Tongue Toffee. That was practically choking Dudley(Not that I minded, but it still could be dangerous). The Canary Creams, Fireworks, fake wands, and the swamp are very cool. The Skiving Snackboxes are rather useful too. And the Headless Hats.... I wonder if the twins could develop anything useful for the Order?

I enjoyed just about all of the Weasley twin's inventions.
The extendable ears were rather helpful.
The firecrackers were quite funny.
And the best one would have to be the swamp.
Just to see Umbridge struggle to get rid of it was funny.
Also, just the idea of a swamp in a hallway is fascinating.
And to think none of the teachers helped even though it would have taken only a swing of the wand to get rid of.

There fireworks were the best in my opinion. The fireworks in book four were Filibusters fireworks, not the Fred and Goerges. But there fireworks were pure genious. The way the moved throughout the school, constantly moving and changing and not being able to be put out. And when the merged with another firework formation something new came out of the mix. Coming up in second would the ones that made you faint for some time. There are so many times that i wish we had something like that so I could skip out of a big test by fainting in the middle of class.

I like the Portable Swamps....they're just so...unnessecary that they're completely and absolutely funny. That's that perfect revenge isn't it? Completely original, completely annoying at best, and, simply....portable. Along with the Canary Creams. Imagine turning your enemy into a small bird and running away. It's simply ingenius.

Extendable Ears were very useful, won't mind if I had some. Also I liked the Vanishing Hats(not sure of the name) and absolutely loved the fireworks. I especially liked Harry's comment on them "You'll put Dr.Filbuster out of business, no problem." LOL

I love everything. I can't decide between them because they are all pure genius. The canary creams are awesome and were my favourite before this book. The swamp is great! I love how the teachers wouldn't help Umbridge get rid of it. And I really loved how Flitwick kept a bit of it as a memory of the twins. The fireworks were hilarious and sounded really spectacular. The extendable ears were really useful and a genius idea. And the snackboxes were great too! I love them all and I'm glad to hear they're doing well with their joke shop.

The Fireworks(I love how the multiply if you try to vanish them lmao) and Etendable ears(so many uses...lol) were probably my favorite, but the Portable Swamp is a close second. And who could forget the classic canary cremes? gotta give those a mention as well ^.^

The fireworks were amazing. They thought of everyway teachers would try to get rid of them, and it wa sgenius of them to have them multiply by 10 or grow bigger if anything was done. And I just thought it was hilarious when someone said, "the fireworks were mating and producing children" or something to that extent. Just thinking about fireworks muliplying and changing was really awesome, because it made it that much harder for Umbridge to get rid of them. :p

1) Extendable ears - Oh How I would LOVE them to evesdrop with!

it has to be the Swamps, because it was the one that caused Umbridge the most trouble and it impressed even the teachers whcih is why a small portion of it was left as a tribute to the Weasley brothers.

My favorite right now is the fireworks that spelled swear words- and the one that escaped to the grounds, got tired by the late evening, but was still seen writing "poo" across the sky.

I just can't warm up to the Skiving Snackboxes. I kept imagining having those nose bleeds or up chucking or getting boils. I can fully appreciate the beauty of skipping the occasional class- and still remember landing in detention when I was out of class unexcused. But getting excused for a nosebleed- messy, uncomfortable and inconvenient. Yuck. Do you think it would be that easy to choke down the other end of the chew while you're suffering the symptoms?

Yeah, the nosebleed/vomiting snackboxes would be slightly disgusting. But hey, you can always take one that'll make you faint or get a fever. That wouldn't be too bad.

My favorite is a tie between the swamp and the fireworks with maybe a slight lead for the swamp. But I also loved the skiving snackboxes and canary creams. I can't wait to see what they come up with now that they're making that stuff full time. The development process should speed up a little.

I think they could. Their shop could be the prefect front for making weapons to use in the fight against Voldemort.

I'm sure they could invent something to be used against Voldemort, and a lot of the stuff they already have could be altered in some way to serve the same purpose. Hopefully the Order is as clever as you when they consider possible weapons...

I do seriously think Fred and George have the capability to invent something for use against Voldemort. It seems so possible and yet so hidden that it fits J.K.'s style well. I would think it would be an adaptation of a current "joke" item... Extendable Ears could be quite useful for spying on suspected Dark wizards. Those could come quite in handy. The only problem is once they were sold in the store, they'd be easier to look for and recognize. Still, they have possibilities...

Definetly the fireworks, that was professionaly planned, and smething only the twins can think of. They think of the strangest things, or JK does for that matter. Oh and the swap... :rotfl: ...can you imagine?!

I loved the swamp and fireworks, however, I would never be caught without some of the skiving snackboxes on me. And if you think about it, with the Nosebleed Nougat they had to come up with something to stop the bleeding, maybe they will be able to help the Order in some way with things like that.

All of their inventions are pure genius. Fred and George Weasley, I salute you for your years and dedication to causing destruction and mayhem everywhere you go.

I think the Skiving Snackboxes were great although I can't see myself ever wanting to try one! The fireworks were one of the funniest things in OotP and I think the Portable Swamps were genius! My favorite would be the Extendable Ears because I'd love to snoop on people!

I would love to have a box of fireworks or a pair of extendable ears. The ears would be very useful when trying to eavesdrop. I also like the concept of the snack boxes although I don't think that I would want to try them. The swamp was also very cool, but I do have to say that I also like the classics like the fake wands and the canary creams. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next.

Even thought the swamps are the most creative I can´t imagine they would be too handy. You probably couldn´t carry them with you and any pranks would have to be previously planned. So I´d go with the amazing fireworks. They´ll tenfold every time you try t vanish them. :D
Although, during some of my more boring classes I find myself wishing for a good supply of skiving snackboxes. That´s the most helpful of their creations.

The Extendable Ears were a great idea! I also like the Skiving Snackboxes...not that I'd ever use them...lol. The funniest was the swamp though, that was classic! The best part of the swamp was the teachers' reaction to it. They thought it was just as great as the students did!

The Fireworks and the Swamp were the best in my opinion. The reaction of the Professors to them was absolutely priceless. The whole fireworks episode made me laugh so much, and I loved the idea of Filch punting the students across the Swamp because no-one had worked out how to clear it up. I also like that a little bit of the Swamp has been left as a monument to the Weasley twins. They certainly made their mark on Hogwarts.
