I love it Inkwolf, you are really talented. They should after the seven books do an animated series and let you do the artwork, it would be a great saturday morning cartoon haha :)

ok, I'm just slow. I've read the whole book, but I still can't figure out what's impaled on the fence.
Excelent picture, BTW!

Wow thats very good! Great lightning on the face.
I must admit that I don't really like your style of drawing people, but I do think you're drawings are really great! (If you understand what I mean ;))

Yep, it's a gargoyle. The picture doesn't specifically depict any scene from the book...just young Snape after fending off a Marauder attack.
And no offense taken, Israniel, everyone has their own preferences. :)

Beautiful, Inkwolf! I especially like how you've added a hint of green to his black robe. It gives him a definite Slyterin feel. Excellent. :tu:

Of course it's a gargoyle!!:D
I was trying to read too much into it.
I like your drawing style. I've never really been a fan of the anime look (such big eyes!) so I find this a refreshing change. Loooove your sig too!

I enjoy good anime pictures, but I could never draw that way....my expressions come from the shape of the eyes and brows and face, and putting all that detail inside the eyes detracts from what I'm trying to express....you can't make a face as rubbery and flexible when you've got two big, honkin' windows in the middle of it.
In general, I follow the Charles Schulz school of eye-drawing:
Lucy: "Do you think I have beautiful eyes?"
Charlie Brown: "Yes, they look like little black dots of india ink."

Oh.. it's a gargoyle? I thought it was a dragon just below the ramparts, LOL... silly me... Gargoyle, that makes way more sense. Either way, as you know Inkwolf, I just LOVE these two pieces of artwork :D Brilliant!

Brilliant! Poor old Snivellus... better watch that the wind doesn't change direction or his face'll be stuck that way... Or maybe it wouldn't make a whole lot of difference if it did!
Anyhow, I'm just going to eat a frozen cheesecake and work myself up into a jealous rage because you're so great at drawing! :D

Holy Cannoli!
What program do you use, and how did you do that with a computer?!?!?

Painter 6.1 and a tablet. :) I scanned in ink sketches of his head and feet, and painted the rest right in the program.
I painted the clouds with airbrush controls, then used various smudge tools to give them some turbulence...the Create Surface Texture command was used to give the wall and floor that stony look...Bevel was used to make the wrought-iron snake trim around the edge of the balcony, there...
The rest was pretty much done with the regular Painter brushes.

Aww, he's almost too cute to be Snape.
Incredible artwork, by the way. You're the best artist here. Not that the others are bad, just that you're even better.

Aww its great Ink wolf! I love how you draw his face, his expressions are always fantastic!
The little details are great touches. Computer coloured art- when its as good as this always amazes me, because I wouldn't know where to start!
The poor dear.
You have great talent!
