Inkwolf, you totally outdo yourself every single time! Kreacher looks exactly as I pictured him, and the trousers... well, they look exactly how I pictured them too, I guess! ;)

Nope....I spent years trying to syndicate comic strips, and had some success--I got a temporary writing job for King Features syndicate out of it--but that isn't what I want to do any more.

Now I'm working at getting my illustration skills up to the point where i can maybe illustrate and publish kids' books. Working on these Harry Potter pictures is great practice. :)

I think you'll be a wonderful childrens book illustrator. Your pictures hold a certain... life to them which I think is the hardest thing to do. Bravo.

I try to improve with each drawing (or at least learn something from each) but I sometimes find myself getting lazy. ;) For instance, I'm doing a simple Marauders pic now which is pretty much just a colored-in outline, and posted a cartoon on Page 28 of the All About Snivellus thread which I scribbled out in twently minutes. I've got a pre-OOP picture that's half-finished that I should get back to someday, and I'm dying to do my flitwick/umbrage fireworks pic, to try out the fireworks and lighting effects...

Snivellus is still my best ever, I think. (Though making the glowing glass-jar shadows and funky pensieve in Harry and the Pensieve was rewarding, too.)

By the way, can someone accurately and specifically define 'snogging' for me? I've variously understood it from anything to just kissing to acts which I'd be banned for portraying here....then again, Harry said Cho used to snog Cedric at that tea shop, and I can't quite imagine....er....what with the cherubs dropping confetti and all....ya know?
