Hey... yesterday I was waiting for AGES at the bus stop, and I thought to myself- "I wish I could apparate". Then, I thought, hey, this is a GREAT thread idea! So this thread is for speculation, whatever- if you could apparate, what would be the first thing you did? If everyone could apparate, what would this mean? Any cool things about apparation, jot them down!

I would definitely Apparate somewhere far away first, like the Caribbean.
Imagine the possibilities. You could just 'pop' over to London to shop, or to Egypt to see the pyramids, and be back home as quick as that!

The first thing I'd do is visit all my friends who live far away. Then I'd go somewhere cool and stay there. I keep trying to convince people that apparition is the greatest magical power, but they don't believe me. Just think about it...I have an hour before I have to go to class...let me pop over to Disneyworld. Or let me check out those pyramids in Egypt. Endless possibilities!

Oh, gosh, If I could apparate, I would be popping in and out of my friend's bedrooms in the middle of the night making strange ghostly noises and trying to scare their pants off!

Then I'd apparate to the bathroom, the kitchen, back to the computer, the couch, the store to get food, back to the couch, to the bathroom, over and over and over. Does apparating burn calories? I'd have a feeling I'd get very fat if I could apparate!

It would be wonderful to be able to apparate, everything would be so easy! I wouldnt bother with cars and things, I would just pop in and out of places.

I'd go to an amusement parks, and after I would ride the rides I want, I would just go to another park! And I'd visit my family that lives far away, or just pop in at my friends house.

I would probably be on the soccer field every day if I could apparate. Soccer is definately the biggest love in my life. Then would probably come books and paintball. So, I'd be at a bookstore, on a soccer field, or playing paintball all of the time if I could apparate.

I'd still like to do some things on foot, though. And I'd definately be spending a lot of time in New York. Been there almost two weeks ago for a couple of days and absolutely loved it. Would spend a lot of time walking 'round the central park and the libraries and museums. Oh, the possibilities.
For people that wanted to go to Europe... I think you still need some sort of a visa, you cant just pop in and out in a different country. But the same one shouldn't matter.

I always think about apparating. When I am walking to class (it's a long way) I think to myself, "hmm, if all these people weren't here I could just apparate". But then I realize that even if no one was around I couldn't apparate.

I would not have to worry about being late anymore I would just apparate to where I was going and be there on time. Also during Recess I could apperate on Wonderland Rides. I could apparate to my friend Bart's house in Georgia and not take a plane. I like going on planes so that would not be so good. But I can apparate when ever I want to his house just to play with him and his brother Otto. I could go to Disneyland and Disney World anywhere I want to go. Even in space I could "borrow" a space suit from NASA and apparate on the moon or any other planet.

If everybody could apparate, there would be no need for transportation. There would be no pollution from cars, etc. There would be no need for gasoline, which would decrease our need for oil. All the flight stewardesses of the world would be out of work... That could be a problem. But wait! They could all be apparating teachers. Then nobody would be afraid of leaving half of themselves in school and the other half swinging in a hammock in Hawaii. Yay!

The positives are we could get rid of large passenger airplanes. We could get rid of cars which hurt our environment and destroy our natural resources and best of all - WE WOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR GASOLINE!!! (Gas prices are CRAZY!) We could keep smaller planes and trains for people to use for fun to see the land or whatever.

The negatives: not good when you consider what terrorists could do if they had that ability.
