SCENE: Teacup Scene

Alright, out of the inspiration of looking at people who can actually draw, and a rather persistant cos buddy....I decided to draw.

*screams pierce the air whereas the area quickly turns into mass confusion....*

Alright, enough of my pessimism, here's my pic, so please, if you make fun of it, keep it minimal :) It's of when Hermione's charmed teapot is running around Harry's in Charms....(I haven't sketched in a long time so be leniant!)

Sorry the clarity is so small as well, I had to resize it to a rather small size because it was such a large attatchment....

And about your drawing: that looks great!! You did a great job on the angles of the table and the teapots. Really, I would like to see more of your work!
Actually I can't remember that scene in the book, I really have to read it again...

That is a great drawing, Ecthelion. I love how you drew the bricks, and the WOOD GRAINS on the table! WOW. That must have taken a lot of work. You didn't just draw those grains on the table top, you drew it on the window frame as well. That is "attention to detail."

I also love how you portrayed Hermione's teacup to look elegant, but Harry's teacup is chubby and ordinary looking. :lol:

The perspective on the table top is a nice touch as well.

The shadow of the cups also grounds them in realism.

Ecthelion, this is really great work. Keep drawing!

Perdita: The amount of detail was put there in an effort to make up for the lack of talent in the other fields.... :whistle: Thanks for the big and complicated sounding words though!

Inkwolf: The reason I picked that particular scene is because there were no figures to draw (:tu:) and for the very reason you stated:

Exactly. Then there's hardly anybody to compare with :D

Aw, that's a really sweet drawing. Lots of attention to detail, like the perspective and grain, even the little shadows on the teacups. It's always good to see new fan artists posting! Just keep it up :)
