Click above to tell me what you have to say about my story. This is my first story so if you have any suggestions tell me please.

Harry stared blankly out the window, thinking about Voldemort and his supporters. What else have they been doing? No one told him anything over the summer. His thoughts were interrupted by a high-pitched hoot. It startled him so much that he jumped up, and in doing so, he knocked Pigwidgeon's
cage over, letting him fly loose.

"PIG!" yelled Ron.

But it was too late. Pig flew out the open compartment door and started hooting happily, and circling around two attractive girls, whom Harry had never seen before. Both started laughing; one with beautiful, short, dark chocolate hair and deep, brown eyes, and the other with long, shining, auburn hair and dazzling, bright blue eyes.

Harry's breath was taken away. He couldn't wrench his eyes away from the two gorgeous girls.

"Is this yours?" the auburn-haired girl asked Harry.

"N-no," stammered Ron, who was also gazing at the girls, "H-he's mine."

"He's so adorable!" The dark- haired girl said, making Ron turn scarlet.

"My name is April," said the girl with the auburn hair, "And this is my friend Delia," indicating to her friend, "What are your names?"

"M-my name is H-harry," studderred Harry, "A-and this, t-this is Ron."

"Oh. We are from America," added Delia, "We just transferred from the American Witches Academy. They wouldn't teach us any defense, so we decided to move to Hogwarts. We heard they taught defense and had boys so we are definitely glad we left."

"Oh." was all Ron could say.

"Well," said April with a grin, "We better be going. It was nice meeting you."

And with that they gave Pig back to Ron and left.

"They sure don't make 'em like that here." said Ron breathlessly.

Ron and Harry climbed off the train and tried searching for April and Delia.

“Harry,” exclaimed Ron, “I see them!”

April and Delia came strolling over wearing Gryffindor robes. Harry wondered where they had gotten those.

“We came a couple days ago,” began April, “and got sorted in Dumbledore’s office so we wouldn’t have to do it with the first years.” It was as if she had read Harry's mind.

"It seems you are in Gryffindor too," said Delia smiling at Ron.

"Come on," answered Ron turning a vibrant shade of red, "Let's go find us our own carriage."

They found one that was empty, and they all climbed in together; April and Harry, then Ron and Delia. Every year they seemed to fit tighter. Harry all of the sudden felt very warm sitting there next to April. They bumped along the trail up to the castle. When they finally stepped out, Delia and April squealed.

"Oh it's wonderful!" squealed April.

"Yes! It's definitely much better than AWA!" agreed Delia.

They all stepped inside and Harry and Ron escorted the girls to Gryffindor table. All of them sat down (Harry next to April and Delia next to Ron) and the girls chatted merrily about how wonderful this place was. They spotted the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. It was a she and had pretty, blonde hair and fierce green eyes. The Great Hall doors opened and McGonagall and a bunch of first years, who were looking extremely nervous, filed in.

The hat suddenly broke into song.

"When I was just a very young hat,
Upon a shelf I is where I sat.
'Til one day four wizards came,
And here were there names:
Godric Gryffindor: brave but kind,
Helga Hufflepuff: nice and divine,
Rowena Ravenclaw: cunning and smart,
Salazar Slytherin: slyness became an art.
They took their thoughts and gave them to me,
Which house do you want to be in, well, let's see"

The whole hall clapped as April yelled over the noise to Delia, "Wow! That's not how we were sorted at our school! It was amazing!"

The clapping died down when Professor McGonagall spoke, "Sit on the stool when your name is called! Kelsey Abonnet!”

A short, slim girl with long braided hair walked to the stool looking slightly nauseous. She sat on the stool and placed the hat on her head. After about a minute, the hat called out, “Hufflepuff!” The Hufflepuff table stormed with applause. This continued until Logan Zoke (Slytherin) was sorted. Professor Dumbledore stood up.

“This is a start of a whole new year, “he began, “We have a new teacher in our midst. Her name is Professor Hilborn. Let’s give her a warm applause. (There was a very unenthusiastic round of plaudits.) Just a couple more words. Eat up!”

The golden plates were filled with food. Delia screamed with delight. When everyone was full they headed back to the common room. Tomorrow was the first day of classes.

Hermione was coming tonight because her grandma died a few days ago. She hadn't come on the train with everyone else. Harry, Ron, April, and Delia all sat at the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall. All of them were extremely tired, for they had been up and talked well into the night. The first class they had was Care of Magical Creatures, then Charms, then Defense Against the Dark Arts. After lunch April and Delia had Arithmancy while Harry and Ron had Divination. They would meet up again for Double Potions. Ron groaned when he saw this.

"I hate it whenever we have Double Potions with the Slytherins! Snape is going to even more terrible than last year! I guaruntee it!"

They made their way down to Care of Magical Creatures. They saw Hagrid standing there with a grin.

"Hey Hagrid," said Harry, grinning back.

"Hiya Harry, Ron. I see yeh've got some new friends with yeh."

"Yeah. This is April and Delia," said Ron sheepihly, "They are from America. Just transferred."

"Well, welcome ter Hogwarts!"

"Thanks!"

The rest of the class made their way dow to Hagrid's hut.

"Alrigh'. We're going ter be studying Snorkelphlats. They're tails are useful in a Love Potion. There is somethin' in their tails that once you drink it, yeh'll fall in love with the first person you see."

All the girls started giggling. Delia whispered something to April, and they both giggled and looked at Ron and Harry. Ron's ears turned bright red and Harry felt his face grow hot. For the rest of the class, Hagrid made them walk the Snorkelphlats. Next was charms. They learned to do the shrinking carm. Harry was trying to shrink his brick but instead it enlarged until Flitwick came by and shrunk it. They next went to Defense Against the Dark Arts. For homework they had to practice those.

"Good morning class," began Professor Hilborn, "You will be learning many things in this class. I have seen many things I shouldn't have. When I was little, my parents were tortured and put under the Imperius Curse. They would abuse me and kill others. They couldn't get away. As you all know, Lord Voldemort has returned. (There were shudders all around the room.) He will be more powerful then ever. I will teach you to fight him and how to survive. I had to learn the hard way."

For the rest of the class, she told them about different curses they had never heard about. She gave them homework to read Chapters 1 and 2 about the hideous curses. After lunch, April and Delia headed for Arithmancy while Harry and Ron made their way to Divination. It was the same as it always had been. Professor Trelawny making her usual spooky entrance and predicting when Harry was going to die. Ron and Harry met up with April and Delia who seemed cheerful.

"That was such a great class," said Delia, "Except we would have felt more comfortable if you would have been there."

She said this looking at Ron.

"L-let's go to Potions," Ron said finally.

Delia and Ron stared each other nonstop on the way down, occasionally running into a wall or statue of some sort. April tried her hardest not to laugh but burst when Ron ran headlong into a door. Ron scowled at her. Harry smiled. Seeing April smile was one of the best things Harry could imagine. Wait, he thought, I just met her. I can't have these feelings!

They finally arrived outside of Potions.

Harry whispered to April, "He's an awful teacher. Don't expect much."

"Oh Harry," she began, "Stop trying to scare me!"

Snape walked in and started talking after giving Harry a look of loathing, "This is your sixth year of potions. Expect it to be one of your hardest. We will be staring with the Boudin Potion. One drop of this will kill you. The instructions are on the board. Go!"

The potion was very difficult. It was supposedd to be a sparkling blue, and Harry's potion wasn't sparkling but it was blue. Of course, he recieved bottom marks. He wasn't surprised. April was in a bad mood when she left. Hers was perfect but she was mad that Harry only got bottom marks.

"Harry he's AWFUL! Yours was almost perfect! I juust feel like... OH I don't know but I will think of somehting."

Harry smiled to himself. He wasn't sure why. April made him feel so good. He suddenly came back to his senses and felt his face going red. He looked away s othat April wouldn't see. They walked into the Great Hall and ate dinner. They then waited in the common room for Hermine.

Hermione walked in looking very happy.

"Hermione I thought your grandma died," said Ron looking very confused.

"She did."

Everyone looked very puzzled.

"When I took the train today I met someone new. He's in Ravenclaw. His name is Chris Lachlok. He is really nice. I have never seen him before. He has read Hogwarts, A History. He even has the new edition. It's definitely better than the first. But, it's not better than the Magic of Hogwarts. He had that too. We read both books together. By the way, I see that you have also met someone new!"

She said this all very fast. April and Delia weren't sure what to say. April looked at Harry for help. Harry quickly cleared his throat.

"Um," he began, "This is April and Delia. They are from America and well I don't remember what the school was."

"American Witches Academy," said Ron quickly.

"Oh. I heard that is a very good school. Except from the fact that they aren't teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts..."

"That's why we left," spoke Delia for the first time.

"Oh, well, I heard that the classes there are twice as hard as at Hogwarts. I was thinking of going there but my parents didn't want me to go THAT far. So I decided to come here. Which, by the way, I am very happy about. I'm going to take my trunks up to the dormitory. I'm meeting Chris in the library. We are going to look up The Mysteries of the School. It tells of all different secrets Hogwarts holds. Bye. It was nice meeting you."

With that, Hermione walked upstairs.

"Does she always talk that much?" asked Delia.

"Yeah basically," answered Ron.

"Well," began Harry, "She made me tired talking about those books. I'm going to go up to bed."

"Yeah me too," said April.

Ron and Delia stayed where they were they began staring at each other again.

"I'll be up in a minute," said Ron.

April gave Harry a smile and looked like she was going to explode with laughter. Harry smiled back at her. They both went to their seperate dormitories. Ten minutes later Harry heard Ron come in. He looked up from his Quidditch Through the Ages. Ron had a goofy look on his face, his hair messed up.

"Let me guess," said Harry, "You asked her to be your girlfriend then made out?"

"How'd you know?"

"I guessed. So is she a good kisser?"

"Hell yea! No one is as good as her! But Hermione ruined it. She walked in on us while she was going to the Library. She started laughing."

Harry smiled. "Oh. Well I'm going to bed. Night."

He pulled the curtains around his bed and closed his eyes and was soon fast asleep.

The next morning, Ron and Harry walked down to the Great Hall. Hermione was already heading to Herbology with Chris. He had a tall, handsome figure and deep, brown eyese. His hair was sandy brown and very curly. April and Delia must not have been up yet. Ron looked at their schedules.

"Well," he started with a yawn, "It's not too bad. We have Herbology, Transfiguration, Charms again, then after lunch, we have Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, and History of Magic. That's good. I can sleep. I'm exhausted. I barely shut my eyes last night."

Harry stared at his food and tried not to laugh. He knew why Ron couldn't sleep. Suddenly Ron jumped. Harry looked up from his food. Delia and April were walking over. When they got to the table, April sat next to Harryand Delia sat next to Ron. Delia gave Ron a kiss on the cheek and said good morning. Ron turned a dark red.

"So did he tell you?" asked April to Harry.

"Yeah," was all Harry could say.

"Don't you think you two are going a bit fast?" she asked Ron and Delia, "I mean you've only known each other for two days."

"Well," said Delia, looking fiercely at April, "Some people juust know when they are meant for each other."

"I'm sorry," mumbled April.

When they were all finished with their breakfast, they headed to the greenhouses. Harry saw Ron tentatively grab Delia's hand, unsure if it was alright. In response, Delia smiled and entwined her fingers with his. Hermione and Chris were in deep conversation when they entered. Hermione spotted them and introduced Chris to all of them. Delia and April giggled when he kissed their hands. Ron looked ready to pounce and Harry felt angry. Professor Sprout walked in before they could do anything.

"Good morning sixth years. Today we will be studying Lamp Plants. They are an excellent source of light. Once touched, they will light up. We do have them in the Forbidden Forest, but they are very deep into there. Now, they are also posionous. Can anyone tell me how."

Hermione and Chris's hands shot up in the air. Chris was called on and Hermione looked very disappointed.

"Well, when not held delicately they can squirt poison at you. If they are squeazed or dropped that is when they spray poison. They also can run out of light when held to long."

"Well done! Ten points to Ravenclaw. (Hermione gave a dirty look to Chris.) Now we are going to take care of them. Does anyone know how?"

The same two hands shot up. Hermione stretched to her fullest extent.

"Yes, Miss Granger."

(Hermione smiled) "You have to rock them and feed them with soybeans. Once they are a foot long, they can look and move on their own."

"Correct! Ten points to Gryffindor."

Hermione smiled. The rest of the class, they took care of them. At the end, they all headed to Transfiguration. Hermione said goodbye to Chris and Harry saw her stare longingly after him. Once they arrived to Professor McGonogall's class, they took their seats. All class they turned rats into alarm clocks. They all did so poorly that McGonogall assigned them a two foot essay on this one spell. The rest of the day went very slow. Harry was glad to climb into bed that night. Ron wasn't there. He wondered where he and Delia were. They weren't in the common room with April and himself. Hermione had gone to the Library with Chris again. Harry lied down and closed his eyes. He could hear the snores of Seamus, Dean, and Neville. He was almost asleep a half an hour later when he heard Ron open the door and say goodbye to someone. He then fell asleep.

The next month went by in a blur for Harry. He suddenly found himself one morning being greeted by McGonogall in the Great Hall.

"Harry may I speak to you a moment?" she said. Ron, Delia, and April walked away. "I should tell you, you are the new Gryffindor Quidditch Captain. With Alicia, Katie, Angelina, Fred, and George gone you really have to get working on picking people for the team."

"Ok," said Harry in shock, "I will."

Professor McGonogall walked away. Me, he thought, Quidditch Captian? He picked his things up quickly and leftt to tell Ron. He found them all walking down to Potions, Ron and Delia holding hands and occasionally looking passionately at each other. When he told Ron, he jumped.

"Wow!" he exclaimed, "You are going to be a great Quidditch Captain!"

"Yeah, but we have to find FIVE new players."

"Delia used to play," said April excitedly, "Didn't you Dels?"

"Well, yeah but..."

"I think you'd be great," said Ron.

Now it was Delia's turn to blush. Harry posted a sign up on the Gryffindor bulletin board for tryouts. The following Wednesday, they headed to the Quidditch pitch to watch tryouts. Everyone was surprisingly very good. They ended up picking Delia, Ginny, and a guy named Sean Crall for the three Chasers and Dean and a guy named Davy Hartte for the Beaters. Their first Quidditch practice was next Monday.

Homework was piling up. He seemed to never have any time to himself. But, he kind of enjoyed it. Every night him and April would be doing homework well into the night. Hermione would go past and scowl at the pair of them for leaving it at the last minute. Her and Chris had started dating. She only told him this cause he went to the bathroom in the middle of the night before and saw them against a corridor wall Kissing passionately. He saw their tongues creeping into each others mouths. Hermione had heard something and broke apart. But, aside from that, he noticed he had beem staring at April a loto more. Whenever he saw her, he got tongue tied and nervous. His hands turned sweaty and his face got red. He tried to forget about it but he knew what was happening. He was falling for April. Everyone noticed it. Ron especially. He saw the longing looks Harry gave April. Delia said it was the same looks that she could see Ron giving her. Her and Ron were definitely a tighter pair. They were inseperable. Literally. Harry always caught them making out everywhere around the castle. The night before, Harry heard Ron open the door and heard a giggle which was unmistakingly Delia. He could soon hear additional moans and then quiet, knowing they were asleep.

After a good first Quidditch practice and a nice hot shower, Harry got into some different clothes and walked outside. He saw April waiting outside for him.

"What are you doing here?" he asked her.

"I finished all my work and wanted to come down and see you."

"Oh," he said. His hearrt leaped, "Well, it's still light out. Do you want to take a walk?"

"Sure," she said.

Harry and April started towards the lake. There was a silence. Until,

"How did Quidditch go?"

"It went very well."

"That's good. You'll make a great captain."

"Thank you."

"You 're welcome."

There was an awkward pause. He felt his elbow bump hers on accident. Her skin felt good against his. Without knowing what he was doing, he took her hand and entwined his fingers with hers. Out of the corner of his eye he saw her smile. He smiled to himself.

"It's beautiful today isn't it?" she said.

"Yes."

He looked at her. She looked lovelier than ever before. She looked at him, her blue eyes glittering and smiling at him. Her hair was down and fell on her shoulders perfectly. You're beautiful, he thought, You are the most gorgeous creature I've ever seen. They were now at the lake. They stopped and turned to each other. For a moment, they stared into each others eyes. April turned her head and looked at the sunset.

"Wow," she gasped, "Look at the view. I've never seen anything more gorgeous."

"I have," replied Harry.

He turned her toward him. He knew what he wanted to do so, he went slowly towards her. He felt her tense up. He closed his eyes and planted his lips softly on hers. It was nothing like he could ever remember. He felt her melt into him. She tasted sweet. Her lips were very soft. He let go and looked into her eyes.

Later when Harry was lying in his bed, he couldn't get the sweet innocent kiss out of his mind. It felt so good. He wanted to see her again. After the kiss they walked up to the castle and she went into the girls' dormitory. He was kind of confused. What if she didn't like it? He felt himself finally drift off to sleep.

The next morning, he didn't see April at breakfast. Later when he saw her, she seemed to be ignoring him. What had he done? Maybe she didn't like the kiss. Maybe she didn't like him. That night when he went up to the common room to work on his homework, he found her there. She looked up, then quickly gathered her things and ran up to the girls' dormitory. This happened for about a week. Finally after a not so good Quidditch match Harry walked into the common room. She startted walking away.

"April wait," he said. She was causing him much pain, he couldn't take it any longer. She turned around.

"I've noticed that you have been avoiding me. Why? What did I do?"

She didn't answer him.

"Please tell me. You are killing me. Ever since the kiss, you won't talk to me."

"Harry, I'm sorry," she said.

"Well can you give an explanation please? Whatever I did..."

He didn't finish his sentence.

"Harry, you've only known me for a month. You don't know what I'm like."

"Yes I do. Your beautiful, smart, kind, and perfect. And I also know I love you."

As soon as he said this her eyes welled up in tears. She ran up to the dormiories. Now what happened? Girls are so complicated, he thought.
He decided to go up to his own dormitory and he stayed there all night.

It was now Saturday. It was also the first Quidditch match. Gryffindor verses Ravenclaw. Harry heard that Chris was the Seeker for them. He also heard they were very good. Before the game the team met in the locker room.

"Now," Harry started, his nerves growing, "I've heard this team is very good. Just do your best and practice the moves we've gone over. you guys are a great team and deserve to win."

All the faces were as white as sheets.

"All right, let's go."

Ron gave Delia a quick good luck kiss before they went onto the field. They were greeted by a great applause. Harry soared over the field. He looked in the Gryffindor section. He could see Hermione, but no April. Madam Hooch blew her whistle and everyone kicked off from the ground. Gryffindor quickly grabbed the Quaffle and Ginny headed up the field. She passed it to Delia and had barely been hit by the Bludger. Come on Delia, thought Harry. DelA threw the ball at the hoops and... TEN POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR! They were off to a good start. Harry decided to look for the Snitch. He couldn't see anything, so he soared higher. He heard a roar of applause. Gryffindor scored again! 20-0.
All of the sudden something caught Harry's eye. He saw Chris diving 20 feet down from Harry. Harry's stomach gave a terrible jolt. He dived and was almost caught up to Chris' Nimbus 2000. They were finally right beside each other. But where was the Snitch? Chris pulled up right before Harry hit the ground. The Wronski Feint. Wow, he was good. Harry now had a broken arm. People came rushing to come help him. But, before they reached him, Harry mounted his broom and flew into the air. He didn't care about his broken arm, he would win this match. He was just sitting on his broom when he saw a glint of gold. It was right next to Ron's ear. Harry sped toward it.When he was about six feet away Ron saw Harry coming toward him. Harry outstretched his unbroken arm.

"HARRY!" Ron bellowed.

He just barely got out of the way. Harry closed his hand hand and felt something round, small, and cold. HE CAUGHT THE SNITCH! Harry smiled and landed on the ground. The whole Gryffindor team came and surrounded him in a hug. Harry grinned.

On his way up to the Hospital wing, Harry walked outside of the locker room and saw a bunch of Gryffindors applauding. Harry grinned. He suddenly saw April on the steps leading to the castle. She was walking away. He ran to catch up with her. Right inside the Great Hall.

"April!" he exclaimed, "Did you come to the match?"

"Yes. Oh Harry! (She flung her arms around him.) I'm sorry I've been avoiding you! I was scared! When you kissed me, I was scared, I felt something inside me but couldn't recognize it. When I saw you crash today, I was so worried! I thought you might have been dead! Believe me Harry I don't want you to die. I've made a horrible mistake! I love you Harry."

Harry grinned. "Why are you telling me this now?"

She blushed. "Well, I..."

Harry took her chin and gently lifted it. He placed his lips on hers and kissed her gently. She melted, and returned the kiss. They broke apart.

"Let's go let Madam Pomfrey fix me up," he said.

He put his arm around April and they walked up to the Hospital wing together.

It took Madam Pomfrey only a couple minutes to mend Harry's arm. Him and April walked out hand in hand. Harry went to change his clothes, then after he was done, walked back to April and kissed her on the cheek.

"I want to be with you all day," he said lovingly.

"Me too," she replied.

They took a walk around the school, then walked outside. They spotted Ron and Delia beneath a tree and joined them. Delia and Ron didn't hear them come up. They were a bit busy. Harry and April sat next to them. When Ron let out a moan, April started giggling. They immediately broke apart.

"Well," said Delia blushing, "I see you two have started talking again."

"Yeah," said Harry, "I can't believe that we were ever not talking."

He touched his lips to April's nose and put his arm around her. She layed her head against his shoulder. Harry layed his head against April's. A perfect fit.

"Awww," said Delia, "That is so sweet."

Harry took his free hand and held her hand. They sat there and Delia and Ron got tired of watching them so they went back to what they were doing. Pretty soon Ron and Delia started to get "more active" and so Harry and April left. While walking back up to the castle, Harry thought of something. He still hadn't asked her to be his girlfriend! He wasn't sure if she considered them a couple.

"Um, April?"

"Yeah?"

"Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

"Harry, I'd love to."

She stood on her tip toes and kissed him gently on the lips. Harry smiled. They walked back to the Great Hall for dinner. After dinner, they walked up to the common room. April went to take a shower. While she was gone, Harry got most of his work done. When she got back, she looked very lovely. Her hair was down again an she had changed into different clothes. She grinned at him. He grinned back. He suddenly got an idea.

"Let me put this stuff upstairs. I'll be right back down."

He quickly ran up to the boys' dormitory, dumped his books onto his bead and got his map and invisibility cloak.

"Harry, what is that for?" April asked looking puzzled.

"I want to spend time with you, and only you. If we stay in the common room, we will be interrupted."

"Oh. Well, where are we going?"

"The Room of Requirement. It's a secret room that it gives you whatever you want."

"Oh, okay."

They slipped the Invisibility Cloak over them both and checked the Marauder's Map. There was only Ron and Delia walking around. They left through the portrait and headed down the stairs. They kept on walking until they got to the blank wall. I need a romantic room for my girlfriend and I, thought Harry. A door showed up. He opened the door and slipped off the cloak. He gasped. Ron was on top of Delia (fully clothed) in a very comfortable looking maroon couch. They hadn't heard the door open. Ron's tongue kept creeping into Delia's mouth. Delia moaned in appreciation. Harry and April stood there looking at them. Delia's hands were tangled in Ron's hair.

"Er," said Harry.

"Harry," said Ron, sitting up instantly, "Get out! Me and my girlfriend were here first."

Harry and April didn't move.

"Ron," said Delia soothingly to Ron, "It's ok Ron. We've been here everynight. Let someone else use this place."

"Ok."

Ron and Delia left the room and but before reaching the hall, started up again . Harry closed the door. He and April didn't know what to do next.

"So..." said Harry.

"Ummm..." said April, "Do you want to sit down?"

"Sure."

April started heading for the couch, but before she reached it, Harry grabbed her hand and pulled her toward him. He cupped her face in his hands and kissed her. She again melted into him. He kissed her again. She tasted so good. Her hands moved up his chest. Harry placed his hands on her hips. April wrapped her arms around his neck. She parted her lips a little. Harry stuck his tongue into her mouth. She moaned in reply. He plunged again. He held her tighter still. Their tongues met and clashed. Both moaned in satisfaction. Harry decided to move down and started kissing her neck. She smelled so good. He decided to move back up to her mouth. He moved his hands through her hair. It was soft and silky. Pretty soon after what seemed like innocent kisses got fierce. They broke apart breathing hard.

"Lets take a break," said April almost breathless.

"Yeah, ok," agreed Harry.

They sat on the couch. There was a long silence. It was a very romantic setting. The comfy maroon couches, the window which was letting in the moonlight, there were candles everywhere, and gorgeous pictures. Harry decided the break was over. He grabbed her around the waist and kissed her. She returned it and pretty soon his tongue was massaging hers. Harry still didn't feel close enough. As if she had heard his thoughts, she swung her left leg over him so that she was straddling his lap and pressed her body slightly against his. He groaned. She is such a great kisser, thought Harry. He started to nibble on her ear. She giggled very softly. He kissed her on the cheek then back to the mouth. A half hour later, they entered the common room. Harry started pulling her to the boys' dormitory.

"Harry," said April with a grin, "I don't think so."

"Oh why," he asked.

"We just shouldn't."

She gave him a kiss and said good night then headed up to the girls' dormitory. Harry headed up to his own dormitory smiling to himself. He had trouble sleeping that night.

Harry sat in the Great Hall eating breakfast with Ron. His heart leaped when he saw April. She looked beautiful to Harry. She came over, but before sitting, she kissed him. Everyone looked at them, some of the girls giggled.

"April," said Harry blushing.

"What? Embarrassed?" she teased.

The weekend of November 1, which was the first Hogsmeade weekend. Harry was excited to spend time with April. When the weekend finally came, he and April headed to Hogsmeade, hand in hand. They walked down the road togethr, occasionally walking into shops. They met Ron and Delia in the Three Broomsticks, and had a butterbeer with them. They decided to go back to school early. When they got there, they had dinner then went to bed.

The next day, they actually saw Hermione at breakfast. She was as white as a sheet. When she heard them coming, she looked up.

"Harry look at this," she said.

She was holding the Daily Prophet. On the front it read, VOLDEMORT AND SUPPORTERS SEEN AT HOGSMEADE.

"But," began Harry getting worried, "We didn't see him! We were there all day, well almost all day. We left early."

Delia and April looked ready to cry.

"Harry," said April, "I forgot something in my room. Delia come with me."

They left.

"Harry," began Hermione uneasily, "He was probably looking for you. I bet you just left. That is also what the paper says. It also says he killed twenty-one people, four were from Hogwarts."

Harry didn't know what to say. How could this happen? He felt angry with himself. If he would have been there, all those people wouldn't be dead. They would still be alive. He stormed out of the Great Hall and headed for the Gryffindor common room. He saw April and Delia comign back down.

"Harry, I need to tell you something."

"I don't care April."

"But Harry, it's important. It's about yesterday!"

"I don't care. It's my fault that all those people are dead! If I would've been there..."

And he hurried off. April call after him, but he kept going uuntil he was to the boys' dormitory.

Harry stayed in the boys dormitory for a month. He had Ron give him food from the kitchens and his assignments and tell him what they did. He had gotten depressed now. Ron tried getting him out of bed but he wouldn't (with the exception of showers and bathroom). Voldemort had killed twenty-one people and it was all his fault. He finally got out of bed after Hermione told him that Vooldemorrt would have kiilled everyone after he killed Harry. He joined the other students.

It was now Christmas break. Harry and April hadn't talked for awhile. She and Delia had gone home for Christmas break. Harry relized how muuch he yearned to be with her. We wanted to hold her, kiss her, and keep her safe. The first thing he would do when she got back was apologize to her for the way he acted. He missed her.

When April came back, he was waiting in the common room for her. He held her as she cried on her shoulder.

"H-harry, I-i'm so s-s-sorry," she said in between sobs.

"It's not your fault April. It's mine."

But she kept crying and saying she was sorry. Harry tried coforting her. He couldn't believe he had made her feel this way. He wished he could change the world, just to make her stop crying.

It was now March. They hadn't heard news about Vooldemort for a few months now. Hermione told Harry that Delia and April have been crying a lot lately. When they were doing their homework that night, April started crying again. Harry now got angry. What was with her?

"April, stop crying," he said, sounding a bit meaner than he intended.

"Harry, I-i have t-to t-t-tell you something."

She cried harder.

"STOP! YOU ARE ALWAYS CRYING WHAT HAVE I DONE?!"

April ran up to the girls' dormitory. Harry was mad. He stomped upstairs and fell asleep on his bed.

Harry felt someone shaking Harry.

"Stop," he said sleepily.

He looked up. It was Hermione. She looked worried and very pale.

"HARRY! H-HE TOOK HER! HE TOOK HER! HE TOOK HER!"

She kept yelling this. Ron, Seamus, Dean, and Neville all woke up.

"Who took who?"

"APRIL! VOLDEMORT TOOK APRIL!"

Harry felt like he had forgotten how to breathe. The last time he had seen her, he had yelled at her. What if she was dead? No, thought Harry, she's not dead. I can feel it. The next moment, Delia burst into the room, her eyes flooding with tears.

"She's gone! He took her! We've made a terrible mistake!"

"What are you talking about?" asked Ron.

"Ron, I'm so sorry. Don't go save April! I have to tell you something!"

"It can wait," said Harry rushing out the door.

"Me and April were working for Lord Voldemort!"

Hermione, Ron, and Harry stopped dead in their tracks.

"What?" said Harry.

"That's how it was in the beginning. Lord Voldemort took us captive. He said we would never see our families again if we didn't help him. So we told him whatever he wanted, we would do. He asked us to lure you, Harry, into a trap. We both agreed. He thought that April would be better at it. He thought you would definitely fall in loove with her. When we came here, we were here to do our job. I wasn't supposed to do anything. I was just a backup. But, I met Ron. I fell in love at first sight. April tried to make us break up. I was to never see my family again. But, as long as I saw Ron, I was happy. Then, something April wanted to happen, happened. You fell in love with her Harry. That was good at first, until she fell in love with you. She didn't want to believe it. When you first kissed her, she couldn't bar it. She knew now that she was in love. So, she decided she didn't care about Voldemort anymore. When we went to Hogsmeade, we had no idea that Voldemort knew. We thought everything was safe. When we found out that he had shown up right after we left, we knew he was trying to find us. He's angry. So, April has tried avoiding you Harry. She knew that any minuute now Voldemort would take her. She was hoping when it happened, you wouldn't come after her. It's a trap. That's why you musn't go."

Everyone was quiet. They couldn't believe their ears. Was this all true? Harry didn't know what to believe. Did April really do that? If so, should he go? Harry made a decision. He didn't know how he even had to think about it.

"I'm going."

"What? Didn't you hear what I just said?"

"I heard."

With that he started walking out the door. Hermione and Ron followed.

"Wait," said Hermione, "shouldn't we get Dumbledore?"

"No time."

"Wait," said Delia hurrying after them. "I know where to go."

She went down a long corridor and stopped infront of a painting of Borus the Brave. She muttered something under her breath and the painting swung open. They all walked in. They walked for what seemed hours until they came to a big archway. They were now outside. There were trees scattered around. They crept over to one and hid behind it. They searched around. They didn't see anyone. All of the sudden they heard a cold voice behind them say, "Hello."

They all turned around. Voldemort stood right in front of them. He swept past them. He went behind another tree and started dragging something. Harry knew what it was.

"Say hi to April Harry. You see April has a little story to tell you."

"I already know it."

"Yet you still came? You are more foolish than I thought."

He let out a cold laugh. April started crying.

"Shut up you stupid girl!" he turned and looked at everyone else. "You know what is fun? Watching people tortured before they die! So I will kill you, but before so, let you feel pain. You know what else is fun?Playing games. So, before I do any of this, you have until ten to run. Ready? Go."

Everyone but Harry ran. He stayed put.

"One."

"Harry," cried April. "Run!"

"Two."

"No! I don't want to leave you!"

"Three.... Four..... Five."

"Harry!"

"Six.... Seven.... Eight.... Nine.... TEN! TORTURA PONITA!"

As soon as Voldemort shouted ten, April jumped in front of Harry. The spell hit her right in the chest. She fell to the ground. Harry surged with hatred. He wanted to kill Voldemort. He had never felt this way.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!"

A body hit the ground. There was no life in him anymore. Everyone came out from there hiding places. Voldemort had fallen for good. Everyone felt joyful. Everyone but Harry. He was bent over April's body.

"Harry," said Delia quietly, "She isn't dead. But she will be unless you get her to the Hospital Wing."

Harry picked up the almost lifeless body and carried her all the way back to Hogwarts.

Harry carried April's mangled body into the Hospital wing. They were all surprised to see Dumbledore, McGonogall, Madam Pomfrey, and Snape waiting there for them. They all looked extremely aged. Dumbledore was the first to speak.

"I'm sorry I couldn't come help you. I found Mr. Longbottom shaking in the corridor outside my office he told me everything. But, by that time, I would have been too late."

"Voldemort," said Harry, "Is dead."

"Yes, I know. But, the girl in your arms is not. But, the spell that hit her is poison. Professor Snape has made a potion for her, and Madam Pomfrey has some antibiotics. We don't know if she will live or not."

The professors took April and Ron, Hermione, Delia, and Harry walked out. They sat in the common room. Harry knew the poison was coursing through April's body. He knew she would be dead. Hours later Harry woke up. He didn't know he had even fallen asleep. It was daylight. Everyone woke up later. Ginny came through the portrait.

"It's 3:00! (She paused.) Oh sorry. Um... everyone knows what has happened now. There are no classes. The end of the year feast is tonight at 7:00. We are cutting the year short."

She walked up to the girls' dormitory. Everyone sat in silence. At 6:55, they headed down to the Great Hall. Harry didn't want to. But, knew he had to.

Harry sat at the Gryffindor table. He didn't want to eat. He heard excited voices, ,and people laughing. He couldn't smile. He knew he should be happy, after all Voldemort was dead and Gryffindor won the House Cup. But, he didn't have April with him. He probably would never see her again. Harry suddenly noticed the silence surrounding him. People who had been laughing just moments before weren't making a sound. He looked around. Everyone was staring towards the entrance of the Great Hall. Harry completely lost his breath. He couldn't believe his eyes. April was walking toward him! He stood up. She started running towards him now. When she reached him, he scooped her up and swung her around in a hug. She started crying. Harry set her down and looked into her eyes. He lowered his head and kissed her gently. That was all it took to make all the depression that he had been feeling, sweep out of him. There were claps.

"Harry, I thought you were embarassed," said April still with tears in her eyes, but smiling.

"Embarassed of kissing you? Yeah right."

And he swooped down and kissed her long and hard. He heard applause and calls of he didn't know what. He kissed her again and again in front of the whole school.

The next day on the train home, the Weasleys told Harry that he and April were staying with them for the summer. Harry never remembered being so happy. He had his favorite girl, and a whole summer with the Weasleys. Life couldn't get any better.
